Danny is just a kid ya know? Like he is just a little guy. A baby really. 14? Tiny child! Look at him, he needs to be protected. Someone has to help this poor little dude. I mean he forgets to use his own powers to avoid attacks all the time.

Anyway cut to Batfam not knowing all of Dannys power set cause the lil dingus keeps forgetting he can do that stuff in the heat of battle.

Danny uses his invisibility all the time… to avoid being followed. But in a fight? Oopsies hes too busy thinking of funny one liners to realise he could do that.

He so rarely actually uses his biggest advantage powers that the League doubt he actually has them. He, like any naive child, trusts them and reported fully on his power set. Instead of just asking him to demonstrate his powers they instead start watching him and try to find evidence of his powers.

At least they know duplication was true since they watched him make a copy of himself to go to the bathroom and not miss any of his fav tv show.

Hey, so, I just finished my fourth rewatch of Riptide, and I have done some math while doing so, and I wanna share it.

Did you know that throughout this entire campaign Chip has received 132 lightning damage in total?

Well that itself might feel like a lot, until you hear abt Jay Ferin, who received a total of 199 lightning damage, a whooping 67 more damage than Chibo.

Now.

Gillion Tidestrider. The reason I decided to count this shit in the first place. I needed to know. And I did indeed find out.

That Gillion Tidestrider, from start to finish, from episode 1 to 115, has suffered 382 lightning damage. A full 183 more damage than Jay and fucking 250 more than Chip. He is a literal lightning rod in a fish disguise, and here is your proof.

Its gotten to the point where i see Gill and Chip talking and genuinely sob. ITS SO CLEAR HOW MUCH THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER AND THE EFFORT THEY'VE PUT INTO CHANGING THEMSELVES TO BE BETTER PEOPLE.

Chip has come such a long way from the start of the campaign. He used to think that Gill was just someone he could mess with but now especially after the events of ep 15 and ep 86 he has done his best to stop lying and messing with Gill and has learned to trust and understand him a lot better.

Gill has learned from Chip that he has worth outside of what the elders taught him and he should forge his own path. He showed him how to live freely and take care of himself. They're slowly acting more and more like each other as they learn more and grow as people. THEY MAKE ME SOB VIOLENTLY
