Hmm could do one where one one of boys has rough day, that leads to emotional overeating, and bellyache that they try to hide until they can't. Please and thank.
aaaaaa, lovely!
I went with Totty because it feels like I haven't written him in a while
and there's a tiny bit of Allmatsu, buuuut really it's mostly Cybermatsu :D
hope you like it, I had a lot of fun with it!
-
Most of the time, Totty thinks he does a pretty good job being composed at work.
However, that’s easy to do when the majority of the days are okay. Sometimes there’s a bad moment or two that he can recover from by the time he gets home; never before has it been an entire day full of nothing but bad moments.
Until today, of course.
It’s just been one awful thing after another. One of his brothers accidentally turned off the alarm clock, probably by hitting it or steadying themself against it while going to the bathroom… so he was late to work. When he finally got behind the register, there was already a decent-sized line and the early morning customers were irritable before their coffee. Nearly every single customer during his shift snapped at him in some way even when he was trying to be helpful.
His coworkers were less than pleasant, especially after a couple hours when one of them had to take over for him because he had to go pee. To make things worse, toward the end of the day he managed to smash his fingers in the cash drawer while closing it.
The highlight of the day was when he was on his way out and a customer wanted help. Company policy being that he wasn’t allowed to work in any way while he was off the clock, he told them he was actually heading home and pointed to one of his coworkers. Which apparently wasn’t good enough, as he was accused of being lazy and not wanting to do his job and told that the customer was going to talk to his manager and have him fired.
Is it any wonder he’s spent almost the whole train ride home in tears? It hasn’t been a great day to be Matsuno Todomatsu.
He feels a little better by the time he gets home, but he’s exhausted and overwhelmed by everything that went wrong. Part of him wants to find one of his brothers and bitch his heart out. The other part just wants to shove food into his mouth and pretend none of it ever happened.
Sutabaa allows employees to eat some of the cheap things for free during their break, which Totty doesn’t often take advantage of. He’d rather have a snack at home so he doesn’t have to scarf it down in ten minutes. Today, though, he managed to put away a chocolate croissant plus a couple of cookies, so he shouldn’t be hungry at all when he gets home.
And he’s not… really hungry. He just wants to eat something for the sake of it, so that maybe eating something tasty will make it seem like nothing went wrong today. The food during his break made things seem better for a minute while he ate it. All he wants is more of that feeling, to make believe it wasn’t such a bad day.
He doesn’t know where any of his brothers are, and he doesn’t particularly care. He doesn’t think he’d give half a shit if one of them walked in on him raiding the fridge and pantry as if he’s preparing to hibernate through the winter. They all stuff their faces at any available opportunity, so why would it be surprising to find him doing it, especially after a long day at work which none of the rest of them do?
It doesn’t even really matter to him what he’s eating, either. Just things that don’t require too much time between being in his hand and sliding down his throat.
There’s about a portion’s worth of takoyaki left in the fridge from dinner last night, so he finishes that off. Some daifukumochi that was in the cabinet, along with a packet of konpeitō. A bag of arare disappears pretty quickly, too. He doesn’t really know if the imagawayaki that was sitting on the counter was left for him or if it was a single treat that nobody had fought over yet ― regardless, he eats it anyway.
Each bite is a violent attempt to deny the shittiness of this whole day. It all tastes delicious, so he can lose himself inside it for a moment. What never really occurs to him is that every moment doesn’t last too long, and even though his stomach isn’t built for this kind of eating, he’s reaching for another snack as soon as the last one has dissolved on his tongue.
He throws packaging away as he goes, just to keep things neat. He’s just biting into his latest snack when someone else walks into the kitchen, and looking up, it turns out to be Choromatsu.
“O-oh, hey, Totty, you’re home. How was work?” He starts ducking into the refrigerator, then suddenly straightens up and gives his youngest brother a curious look. “… Uh. That’s my Big Katsu. Why are you eating it??”
Given that his teeth are currently sunk into it, Totty feels a little guilty. So at least he doesn’t have to fake the expression on his face. “Oh… sorry, Choro-nii-san! I’m just really hungry… I’ll buy you another one tomorrow.”
After a moment, Choromatsu sighs, evidently deciding to let Totty off the hook rather than fight with him about it. “Yeah, that’s fine. I was saving it, but if I haven’t craved it this long, I can wait. There’s other stuff I can have for a snack.” He opens the refrigerator door and pulls out a single mini carton of milk, then frowns. “Hey, wasn’t there some leftover takoyaki in here?”
He huffs as he closes the fridge. “Dammit. Osomatsu probably ate the rest of it while I wasn’t paying attention, the douche.”
He shakes his head and gets in the pantry for a bag of potato chips instead. “Guess these’ll do till dinner. Hey, Totty, you’re probably still hungry, right? Why don’t you share with me? I’m not starving or anything… half a bag would do it for me, I think.”
Totty’s stomach twinges suddenly, alerting him that he may have eaten too much. He’s not used to shoveling down this much at one time, though the realization that he’s uncomfortably full doesn’t stop him from hurriedly cramming the rest of the Big Katsu into his mouth.
And, honestly, it’s not like he can say no to the offer. He just told his big brother he was hungry and he’s been gulping down food at an insatiable pace. Thinking about the taste of potato chips sort of makes him want some.
Plus… Choromatsu is being nice by sharing, despite the fact that Totty already took one of his snacks without even asking. It would be mean to turn that down when he’s just trying to make sure Totty gets fed properly.
So he plasters a smile on and tosses the wrapper before stepping toward his older brother. Everything’s fine. “Ah, yeah… sounds good.”
-
Everything is not fine.
Dinner is beginning to be a struggle to get through. Totty hates wasting the food, but his thought is to put it away for later when his stomach isn’t actively trying to kill him. The pain is different to anything he’s ever experienced, a feeling like he’s full all the way up to his chest and so can’t get a decent breath in. He feels cold and clammy even though he knows he’s sweating. In short, it sucks.
The one thing he counted on was his brothers not noticing that he wasn’t eating anything. After sharing the chips with Choromatsu, he started to feel like he was going to burst. Even though the sensation quieted down a little bit, it never quite went away.
Now that he’s been faced with a table full of food, it’s even worse. His stomach is gurgling and swirling and nothing helps. Not taking deep breaths through his nose, not taking tiny sips of his tea, not focusing on any other thoughts. Nothing. It’s all useless. He thinks that as soon as dinner is over, he’s gonna have to go throw up. No ifs, ands, or buts; one way or another, he’s gonna be sick.
His only hope now is that he can ride it out long enough for everyone to head their separate ways so he doesn’t have to face the humiliation of admitting that he ate too much and hurt his stomach.
“U-uh, Totty,” Choromatsu speaks up suddenly, “aren’t you gonna eat anything? You were hungry enough to eat my Big Katsu earlier, I’d have thought you were really looking forward to dinner.”
Ugh. Did he have to???
Totty forces a smile onto his face. “Oh, yeah, I… I guess I’m just not in the mood for this stuff tonight, you know?”
The look on Osomatsu’s face could be mistaken for someone who’d just swallowed a lemon. “What?! But Totty, this is your favorite! You’re not gonna eat any of it? You can’t just skip meals like that, dude.”
“Yeah,” Ichimatsu hums thoughtfully. “You’re not gonna be any more healthy or attractive if you’re starving, you know.”
Geez. His brothers are so fucking embarrassing. Choromatsu is giving him some backhanded concern, Osomatsu is overzealous as usual, and Ichimatsu sounds like a Goddamn after-school special.
Karamatsu, meanwhile, is scrutinizing him just the same. “Yes, Totty, my brother… you look rather pale. You really should eat something!”
“Yeah, yeah!” Jyushimatsu practically launches himself over the table, holding a bite of food from his own plate between chopsticks toward his little brother’s mouth. “Here! Winding up for the pitch… batter uuuuuup!”
“Ughhhhh!” Totty leans back, even though any movement unsettles his stomach further. “You guys are ridiculous! I’m fine! W-what, am I not allowed to have just lost my appetite without every single one of my big brothers making a federal case of it?!”
All the others share a silent look, then there comes a unanimous, “Nope.”
He groans and leans his arm against the table. Shit, it’s getting worse. All he wants to do is run to the bathroom and puke, so that maybe he’ll actually feel better. If he does that, though, everyone will be on his case about how much he ate instead of how little he’s eating right now. He doesn’t need nor want a lecture.
Actually, what he wants more than anything is to just be taken care of and told that it’s okay, he screwed up a bit, it’s not the end of the world. That would require confessing to this stupid mistake, though… and he really doesn’t want to do that. He’s so sure that if he does, he’s just going to get scolded instead of comforted.
When he looks around the table again, he notices that Choromatsu in particular looks worried. “C’mon, Totty. You know we care about you. Osomatsu and Ichimatsu are right; it’s not healthy to skip meals.”
“Dammit, I know that, Fappymatsu! Just because I’m pretty doesn’t mean I’m stupid.” Totty scowls down at the food before lifting his eyes back up. “If I take one bite, will you all get off my back?”
He hates that those words just came out of his mouth. Even if it’s just a single bite, he doesn’t think his stomach will be happy with him. The idea of eating anything isn’t sitting well with him.
What else can he do, though? Just like with literally everything else, his brothers won’t stop bugging him until he caves in and does whatever they want.
The others exchange a look and Osomatsu shrugs. “Yeah, that should do it! Maybe after you take a bite you’ll realize how good it is and how hungry you are.”
Shit. Well, now he doesn’t really have a way out.
He takes as deep a breath as he feels he can, and collects a bite of food with his chopsticks. Although he isn’t sure how noticeable it is, it feels like his hand is shaking as he raises it to his lips.
Maybe it’s better to do it fast and get it over with. So, that’s what he does. The food in his chopsticks disappears in rapid time, and even though it feels like swallowing a spoonful of glue, he manages to get it down.
“Th-there,” he announces as he slams his chopsticks down. A hiccup squeaks out of him, followed by a fist pressed to his mouth, then he glares around the table at his brothers. “Ha… happy now? God, you guys are… you’re such… such…”
His stomach roils aggressively, almost like he’s just been punched in the gut. He cuts himself off with a loud, painful belch… and whines softly, because he knows what’s coming next. There’s no possible way he can stop it, nor can he get up fast enough to make it to the bathroom.
He tries to clap his other hand over his mouth in some childish belief that if he just blocks the exit, so to speak, he won’t be sick. Predictably, it doesn’t work.
Only a second and a couple of retches later, Totty has vomited through his hands into his lap. It’s perhaps more than a little ironic that his attempt to avoid lectures and feeling shameful has led to something incredibly humiliating.
The tears well up almost immediately, and it doesn’t take long for him to be sitting here coughing, not quite knowing what to do except cry.
“A-ah, Totty!!” Someone’s up from their seat, grabbing him gently by the shoulders. It sounds like Choromatsu, he thinks. “Hey… hey, it’s okay. O-oh, no, no, guys, it’s okay ― yeah, Mom, Dad, it’s fine, I-I’ve got him. Totty, hey, c’mon. I’m gonna help you to the bathroom and we’ll get you cleaned up. Okay?”
All he can do is nod, and it seems like even the fact that he leans against Choromatsu, all streaked with puke, doesn’t bother his brother.
It’s a short walk to the bathroom. He thinks he hears one of the others getting up to clean whatever mess he’s left behind. He just concerns himself with getting into the bathroom, then with lifting his arms when told so Choromatsu can help peel the soiled clothes off.
“It’s okay, Totty. E-everything’s alright.” His voice is low and gentle as he manages to also get Totty’s pants off, hanging everything over the side of the bathtub. If he’s lucky, one of the others will come rinse them off so they can go right in the wash while he tries to take care of getting Totty situated on the couch or something. “I’m gonna take care of you. You just cry as much as you need to, as long as you cooperate with me, okay?”
Totty sniffles, doing his best to stop crying. This is so embarrassing. “O-okay…”
Eventually the crying tapers off a bit, to the point that he can breathe normally again. His mouth has a bad taste and his throat hurts; at least his stomach feels a lot better, though. He’s just so mortified that he threw up on himself in front of his entire family after trying to save himself from this fate.
What did you think was gonna happen when you ate something else after already being stuffed and nauseous, dummy?? His mind is exactly no help at all, unfortunately.
Choromatsu is careful as he tries to get his little brother cleaned. As soon as all his dirty clothes are off, he wipes a wet cloth over Totty’s mouth to wash off any remnants of vomit and helps Totty wash his hands in the sink. He holds a couple pieces of toilet paper over Totty’s nose so he can blow, which makes him feel slightly less gross.
Once there’s no more danger of new clothes having leftover puke dripped on them, he darts out to the closet in the other room and comes back with a pair of Totty’s pajamas. It feels somuch better to be in fresh clothes after Choromatsu gingerly tugs them on.
With all of that done, Choromatsu sets a hand against Totty’s forehead and gives a contemplative hum. “Well, you don’t feel warm… you might still be coming down with something, though. I think maybe you should just go right to bed. We’ll get you settled on the couch in the other room so that hopefully the rest of us don’t catch it, and I’ll get you some ginger ale or something, okay?”
The idea of all that sounds nice, sure. He feels a little guilty for not being honest, however, so… “Um, Choromatsu-nii-san… I-I’m not… I’m not sick. I… I think I ate too much today, and… that bite I took out there was just kind of… th-the last straw, you know?”
Choromatsu frowns. “You ate too much? You said you were really hungry when you got home. And all I remember seeing you eat was my Big Katsu and some of the chips.”
“I ate a lot more than that,” he confesses, rubbing at his teary eyes. “There was some stuff I had while I was at work, a-and… and I was the one who ate the last of the takoyaki. I was just going through the fridge and the cupboards for a while before you walked in.”
“Oh… okay, I get that. Why didn’t you just tell us you overate today instead of forcing yourself to eat?”
More tears bubble up and start rolling down his cheeks. “B-because… because I thought if I did, you’d all just lecture me and tell me, ‘Oh, you shouldn’t do that, Totty!’ The day was so bad already…”
The more he talks, the more tears fall. “It was just one thing a-after another! Work was shitty, everything that could go wrong did,and I didn’t want you guys harping on me! I-I know I fucked up eating a lot, but doing it just… made me feel better for a minute… like the day wasn’t so crappy, like I could pretend everything was okay because I was eating something good. So I just… d-didn’t wanna tell you guys… I-I know you’d say it’s bad for me…”
Quietly, Choromatsu pulls Totty up off the toilet and into a hug. His hand rubs calmingly between his little brother’s shoulder blades, shortly after switching to a series of pats. “Hey, you learned your lesson. I know you think we’d give you some big speech… and maybe you’re not wrong. But I’m sorry it felt like you had to hide it and suffer on your own. That’s not what we want! We just wanna take care of you. If we lecture like that, it’s just because we love you.”
“I-I know,” Totty mumbles into Choromatsu’s shoulder. “Are you… are you mad at me? For doing it in the first place and for not telling you?”
“Mad? No! No, no, no way. I’m not mad!” Choromatsu presses a brief kiss to the top of Totty’s head. “You’re my baby brother. How could I be mad at you for this? Just… you know… next time, come talk to us instead of going to the food. I’d rather listen to you complain for hours than have you eat yourself sick.”
He gives a cautious squeeze, somewhat reassured when Totty squeezes back. They stay like this for a few minutes, with Totty burying his face against Choromatsu’s shoulder and Choromatsu rubbing Totty’s back.
Finally Choromatsu lets out a sigh. “Just so you know… even if we lecture you a little, we’ll still try to take care of you if there’s anything we can do. But we’ll… also do our best not to lecture as much when you come to us. Do you feel any better?”
“Yeah… it doesn’t hurt that much anymore.” He mirrors the sigh and just sinks into his big brother’s embrace. “Can I still go lie down, though? In the futon?”
Choromatsu nods and pulls Totty up when he gets to his feet. “Yeah, of course. That’s probably a good idea even though you’re not really sick.”
“And… can I still have some ginger ale?”
“Yeah, I’ll get that for you after we get you settled.”
Totty is silent for a few seconds while they walk down the hall, then he speaks up again. “… Will you maybe stay and cuddle with me for a minute, too? Even though I’m not sick?”
Choromatsu glances down before chuckling. Does he really think he has to tack on that condition, as if Choromatsu won’t cuddle just because Totty isn’t actually sick? “I… o-of course, Totty. All you have to do is ask, even if you’re not sick.”
“Okay…” By this time they’ve reached the bedroom, so he stands aside while Choromatsu unrolls the futon. Before too long he’s lying down, and Choromatsu has both arms around him, gently stroking his hair.
He closes his eyes and nuzzles against his brother. “Thank you… you’re the best nii-chan ever.”
He can feel Choromatsu grinning. “Am I even better than leftover takoyaki?”
Totty pouts at the jab, but snuggles closer regardless. “Way better.”

Hi! 🌸 could you write about the matsuno brothers having kids? like coming home from the hospital? Seeing their baby first? Their s/o just being calm through the whole process. they asking their wife how does she do that so effortlessly?? I would love to see their POV when they find out they are going to be fathers so much! Thank you!!! 🌺 I know it’s something really fluffy but I just love them so much 🌸 thank you once again!!!
*since you asked for all matsus, im gonna do hcs, i hope thats ok!!*
❤oso❤
-he was at work when he got the call
- "hey baby, i hope your work is doing good, but i just went into labor so if you can, please make it to the hospital"
-oso has never been so frantic, he got to the hospital in under 10 minutes
-when he got there, you were still pushing, so he jumped in as soon as he could and held your hand
-you were in labor for 2 hours before your son was welcomed to the world
-he had a good hair of dark brown hair and your eyes
-osomatsu cried like a baby (omg) and was so proud and happy
-(hes a good father, he just needs a little help sometimes)
💙kara💙
-the most emotional out of the boys
-you went into labor around 6pm, just before kara started dinner
-you had waddled into the kitchen to tell him lol
- "Sweetheart, dont start dinner yet, we need to get to the hospital. Yeah, my water just broke, it's go time :)"
-kara never knew how you could stay so calm, but he tried to follow suit (and failed but thats neither here nor there)
-since you were so close to due date, you both had decided to pack your overnight bags and all beforehand, so all you had to do was get in the car and go
-you had identical twin girls, your labor only lasting about 30 minutes
-kara laid on the hospital bed with you, holding one of the twins while you held the other
-both of you were teary, but kara was full on sobbing (as quietly as he could)
💚choro💚
-it was 3am when you went into labor
- "Choromatsu, baby, call the midwife. My water broke."
-he was awake and fully alert in 10 seconds flat
-you both had decided on a home birth, so while you were doing breathing exercises on the bed, choro was up, dressed, and on the phone woth the midwife
-tho a lot of people expect choro to be the calmest, hes extremely stressed
-the midwife got to your house fairly quickly and had the birthing tub set up in no time
- you had the longest labor ever omg, it was 9 hours before your son was born
- your son weighed a staggering 9 1/2 pounds and was a very big baby
- you did have to go to the hospital a little after he was born, however, because you were having trouble delivering your placenta
-choro was extremely stressed after, but tried to keep calm for your son
-when you did finally get to come home, you greeted your husband and newborn son with a warm smile and a few little tears
💜Ichi💜
-it was 4pm when you went into labor
-ichimatsu had just gotten off from the vet's office when he saw you packing the car up
- "love...?" you turned to him with a tilted grin and replied, "Water broke, time to have our babies."
-ichimatsu thought he was gonna pass out, but kept it together to drive the both of you to the hospital
-since you were having triplets, you were rushed to c-section to have your children
-ichimatsu was there the entire time, holding your hand and waiting with you until all 3 babies were delivered
-you had two girls and a boy, the girls were a healthy weight and size, but your son was a little underweight and was having trouble breathing
-he was put in an incubator after being checked over, but overall it was pretty easy
-you were holding the girls while ichi went over to your son, sticking his hand inside and gently holding his hand
- "hey little guy, rough time with your sisters?"
-ichi will be very protective of his children, especially his son
💛Jyushi💛
-he had gotten home from baseball practice, you were relaxed with him for not even ten minutes
- "Sweetpea, my water broke. We're having the baby now."
-Jyushi was the calmest of the bots, surprisingly
-he informed the midwife that you went into labor and got the bed all ready for you so you could lay down
-when the midwife came, it was a blur of pushing, jyushimatsu encourging you and peppering kisses all over your hand, and 20 minutes later, your little daughter was born
-she was so small, only 6 pounds and 9 ounces
-she was healthy, though, just a small baby
-everything went so smoothly, and with no problems, you were shocked
-jyushi still had his signature smile on, but happy tears were streaming down his cheeks as he held his daughter close
- "I know you're just a little baby, but you can be whatever you want, and I cant wait to see what you become one day"
💗Todo💗
-it was a lazy saturday when you went into labor
-you were cooking up some lunch when your water broke
-its funny though cause you were wearing a skirt, so when your water broke, it sounded like you spilt water on the floor
- "Honey? Are you ok in there?" Todomatsu walked in, expecting to see an overturned glass or something, only for to see a pinkish puddle on the ground
- "It's go time babe, get the bag and lets have this baby"
-todomatsu was so excited, but nervous, so once you were checked intk the hospital and everything, he called EVERYONE
-his mother, his father, your mother and/or father, his brothers, everyone
- an hour later, your baby was born
-they were born intersex, but you both agreed on keeping both genitalia so your baby could choose whatever gender they'd like or keep both if they wanted
-you were both so excited, tears in everyones eyes as you held your baby close
-later on in life, your child decided to keep both and be a non-gender conforming person and tot was super helpful in helping them pick out androgynous clothing :)
**ok im so sorry but i had to add in different way of birthing, different numbers of kids, and different genders (i like to try and represent other people, genders, sexualities, etc here) if anything is incorrect, let me know and i can make the correct changes :)**

Osomatsu Month 2020: Part 2-I'm already broken, so tell me why I'm still fucking hurting (Cont.)
He swallows before continuing, "And I guess I was so angry because...I thought you were moving out to get back at me. For annoying you and making you miserable all those times. Like you're leaving....so you don't have to deal with me anymore. I honestly don't blame you, I'd leave too, but...I never thought I was such a bothersome presence to my brothers. To the point where one runs out. And I never thought it would upset me so much."
He can hear Choromatsu's heartbeat, and the younger brother's chest vibrates when he speaks, "Osomatsu-niisan, don't be silly. You don't make me miserable. Annoy me, sure, of course. It would be a little weird if you didn't here and there. It's what brothers do. But not miserable. You just piss me off sometimes, that's all. All of you do. Sometimes more frequently than usual. And there have been plenty of cases where we've pissed you off too. And when we do, do you stop loving us? Do you hate us with all you have?"
Osomatsu reluctantly answers, "Well no..."
"Right? I don't hate you, Osomatsu-niisan. You annoy the shit out of me sometimes and there are times where I feel like you could be a better and more supportive brother, I'll admit. I don't hate you or Karamastu-niisan or Totty or Ichi or Jyushi. I don't hate any of you. How could I? You guys are my brothers. No amount of anger is gonna make me just decide that's not the case anymore or worse make me hate you. That's just ridiculous thinking. And I would never want to shove my success in your face like that. Well--sometimes I do--but not like this. I would never do it to hurt you, Nii-San. So get those stupid thoughts out of your head already, alright?"
Osomatsu sniffled and nodded, having calmed down tremendously by now though he still leaned tiredly into the younger brother's chest.
Choromatsu's eyes landed on Osomatsu's still reddened cheek, noticing there was now a big bruise there and mumbled, "Let me see your face."
"Eh?"
But Choromatsu didn't make any room for questions. He merely pulled back slightly and cupped Osomatsu's cheek, ignoring the oldest's pained protests consisting of mixes of "Choro, I'm fine" and "Ouch, that hurts!" And "You're gripping too hard!".
"Karamatsu-niisan got you good," Choromatsu murmured, rubbing his thumb back and forward on Osomatsu's cheek. "We're gonna have to ice it when we get back home, or it'll swell up even more." He paused before pushing on, "Why would you grab Jyushimatsu like that? You know he gets protective whenever he sees one of us threatened, regardless if it's by you or not."
"I know...I had it coming. He's been like that since we were kids." Osomatsu huffed, too tired for another lecture. "I get it."
"Mm...true. But he's never gotten that violent with you before. The most he's ever done is yell at you. Ah, and honestly...he didn't need to hit you. That was a little out of line. Shoving you would have been the more appropriate course of action, it still would have gotten you to let go of Jyushi and in a less violent way, too."
Osomatsu shot him a surprised look, "Are you actually...defending me?" He asked, baffled.
Choromatsu puffed out his cheeks, looking annoyed. "Geez, don't sound so surprised. I've come to your aid plenty of times in the past. ...But in a way, yes. You were being a major asshole, but he wasn't any less of a jerk by hitting you like that. You were both wrong tonight. Though...not just you guys were in the wrong. I was a little, too."
"You? Why?"
"I should have given you a heads up on the job. I guess I just...knew how you were gonna react. Or at least I thought I knew. I was obviously way off base, because I ended up hurting you. Pretty badly. And I never want to hurt any of my brothers like that. I was trying to avoid the bad, but I just ended up causing the worse. I wanted this to be a happy night, not a night full of anger and pain. You have a right to be upset, Osomatsu-niisan. I'm sorry I didn't tell you."
He swallows before looking Oso dead in the eyes, "But I'm serious, this is just a job. It's not like I'm moving to another state or something. I'm still gonna be around you guys a lot, just not as much. And I'll write. And call. And when I do, you better pick up, Oso."
Seeing Choromatsu's glare yet the promising look shining in his eyes that says 'I'm not going anywhere, get that through your dense skull you dumbass', Osomatsu is finally convinced and he lets out a trembling laugh, pressing his face to Choro's shoulder to hide the new fallen tears of relief.
"I will, Fappymatsu."
"Finally. I thought I'd never get through to you." Choromatsu sighs, tone mixture of his own relief and frustration as he leans back on the bench slightly, looking up at the stars.
After a couple minutes, the green clad uttered, "Let's head home, Oso. It's getting cold out here."
"But they all hate me now, Choro-Chan..." Osomatsu whined, shaking his head and burrowing himself deeper into the latter's side.
"Man...when did you become such a baby, Osomatsu-niisan?" Choromatsu frowned. "They don't hate you. I promise. They were just scared. Now they're probably super worried, so we've gotta get back."
Osomatsu looked up at him with teary eyes , and Choromatsu's heart ached for the millionth time tonight. "Even Karamachu?"
"Especially Karamatsu. Come on, we've been through enough tonight. The last thing we need is to freeze our asses off."
"Okay..."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Have they come back yet?" Karamatsu asked anxiously, gazing down at his fist in guilt.
"Not yet," Todomatsu hummed, looking up from his phone to glance at the clock. "It's eleven....I'm sure they're fine though."
"I'm not so sure. Osomatsu usually comes back way before eleven. Well, at least when he's not at Chibita's. In situations like these he always comes back before nine." Karamatsu swallowed hard, his guilt doubling. "This is my fault. I shouldn't have hit him."
Todomatsu shook his head, glaring at him. "No, Karamatsu-niisan. He had it coming. Don't blame yourself."
"Even if he did, I still shouldn't have done it. I hurt him, Totty. And if I hadn't gotten so angry and done so he wouldn't have stormed off." Karamatsu sighed shakily. "It's my fault."
"Do you think Nii-San's okay?" Jyushimatsu asked next, uncharacteristically frowning.
"He's fine. You all are worrying too much. They'll be home soon." Ichimatsu pipes up from his corner of the room.
"We've been saying that for the past two hours and they're still not back yet. I'm going out to look for them." Karamatsu decides, getting to his feet and approaching the door, slipping his shoes on.
Just as he reached for the doorknob, it turned and the door opened and Karamatsu was met with two mirror versions of himself. One of which had tear stains plastered across his cheeks.
Mind still processing Osomatsu's state, Karamatsu stood frozen in shock as Choromatsu gently pushed the eldest Matsu inside and shut and locked the door behind them.
Jyushimatsu rushes past Karamatsu and throws his arms around Osomatsu's waist, squeezing tightly. "Nii-san's okay! I was worried!!!"
Osomatsu gave a guilty smile, ruffling Jyushimatsu's hair lightly, "I'm fine, Jyushimatsu. Sorry for making you worry."
Choromatsu called over to Todomatsu, "Oi Totty, do you think you can go get some ice? I need it for Oso's face."
Hearing that made Karamatsu flinch, and he kept his eyes upon Osomatsu who rubbed the yellow Matsu's hair affectionately as Jyushi clung to him, hearing Totty reply "Kay" and leave the room.
Osomatsu swallowed thickly, "Jyushimatsu"
"Eh?" Jyushimatsu looked up at him with big, concerned eyes.
"Let me see your stomach."
"Ah? Okay, Nii-San." Jyushimatsu uttered, stepping back and doing as he was told, pulling up his hoodie revealing a bandaged bruise, though it was wrapped up the bruise was big so he could still see some of it.
Osomatsu gently rubbed it, tears filling his eyes.
Fuck he was such an asshole...
"Karamatsu-niisan wrapped it up for me. It really doesn't hurt too much. I've had worse. In fact, this one time--eh? Osomatsu-niisan?"
Jyushimatsu was cut off by Osomatsu straightening up and pulling the younger Matsu into a tight hug, squeezing lightly.
"I'm sorry, Jyushimatsu." Osomatsu apologized bitterly. "I didn't mean--I shouldn't have done that to you."
"D-Don't apologize, Nii-San. You told me to stop and I didn't listen, I deserved--"
"No!" Osomatsu growled, causing Jyushimatsu to jump slightly and Oso's heart throbbed with remorse, and he softened his voice repeating, "No. Don't you dare fucking say that. You didn't, you hear me? You didn't. I was upset because I knew Fappymatsu would have to leave...but that doesn't mean it gives me a right to hurt my baby brother. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry, Jyushimatsu."
Small tears appeared in Jyushi's own eyes. "Nii-San..." he sniffled shakily.
Osomatsu leaned back, grinning weakly with two tears running down his cheeks and finger rubbing under his nose, "Heh. Think you can forgive your shitty Onii-Chan?"
Jyushimatsu didn't hesitate, letting out a small sob and diving into Osomatsu's chest somewhat roughly, "Don't cryyy, Nii-San! I forgive you, I forgive you! I love you, Nii-San!"
Osomatsu snorted in amusement, smiling with relief and showered his younger brother with a couple of light kisses to his hairline and cheek, causing Jyushimatsu to burst into giggles.
"Onii-Chan loves you too~" he said, pressing the last of his kisses to the yellow Matsu's hairline. He let go of the latter and allowed him to bound happily over to sit next to Ichimatsu, energetic grin back upon his face.
"Got the ice, Choromatsu-niisan." Totty announced as he reentered the room.
"Thanks, Totty." Choro uttered, taking the bag of cubes and walking over to Osomatsu, pushing him into a sitting position.
"It's gonna hurt at first." he informed the older brother.
Osomatsu shrugged, and Choromatsu pressed the bag of ice to the elder's cheek and he instantly hissed in pain.
"Ow that hurts Choro-Chan...!" Osomatsu whined, sniffing.
"I literally just told you it would!" Choromatsu glared in frustration.
"But you didn't tell me that it would hurt this bad!"
Choromatsu rolls his eyes irritably and continues to hold it there before he hands it to Osomatsu, "Just hold it there, alright?"
Osomatsu chewed his lip and nodded, doing as he was told.
"We're going to have a talk tomorrow, okay?" Choromatsu states, looking around at all of them. "All of us. A sextuplet meeting. Like the ones we used to have when we were kids when one of us had a problem."
The others all except Osomatsu nod quietly.
"Do we have to?" Osomatsu yawns, frowning at him.
"It's nothing bad, Osomatsu." Choromatsu is quick to assure him. "We just want to help, that's all."
"Sure sounds bad."
"Oso...please. It's gonna be fine, I promise."
Osomatsu snorts, looking away from the green Matsu with a bitter look on his face.
Then Osomatsu yawns again sleepily, and Choromatsu moves to grab his shoulders, "Alright, off to bed, Osomatsu." He says and begins steering him towards the staircase and up each stair.
Choromatsu gazes at the ground as Osomatsu changes into his pajamas and climbs into the futon.
Once Osomatsu is settled, Choromatsu sits down next to the older Matsu.
"The others will be up in a bit." He informs him.
Osomatsu doesn't say anything, just merely pushes his head into the third born's lap mutely.
Choromatsu pauses, startled, then slowly lowers his hand and begins running his hand through the latter's locks.
They say nothing else as Osomatsu slowly drifts off to a dreamless sleep.

How do you think the boys would react to a s/o who’s been dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety which is making them more angry and irritated than usual and finally they just break down bc they’re tired of acting like that even though they can’t help it?? Sorry if this is confusing
Oh no, don't worry anon it's not confusing! It's a mood! ^^
❤️Special agent O-SO❤️
While his s/o has been acting snappy, he'd try to watch what he says and be very conscious of what tends to set you off so he can help you. But he sees no pattern so he just tries his best all the time.
When his beloved ends up breaking down, he'd have to take a hot minute to register it, but he'd be right by their side, rocking them gently and stroking their hair to help calm them down. Between sobs his s/o would be apologising for acting so horribly, but he's just chuckle and tell them that they weren't being horrible, and he knows that they love him so there had to be something going on for it to hit them that badly. He'd hold onto them for as long as they needed to calm down, and then he'd care for the sad sushi roll (the cute comic one) and do his best to help them.
Tumblr media
He wouldn't force his s/o to tell him the problem, but he'd still love to be of help to them if he can.
💙Karamac and Jorts💙
He'd be slightly on edge when his s/o is acting,,, different than usual. He'd be on edge but would probably still be his usual painful self in an attempt to cheer them up. He'd serenade them and such, but sometimes his dear s/o would snap and go and hide. Which is the last thing he'd want to happen.
When they broke down, it would all start to click for Kara. He'd instantly be there, holding them tight and humming their favourite slow song to them. S/o would be putty in his arms. Kara would do his best to figure out what the source of their darling's stress was; it was probably their boss, frickin' KarEn, giving them unrealistic amounts of work in small amounts of time again - he'd heard you holding back angry tears on the phone a few days ago to her. He'd go détective mode, but would respect your decision if you asked him to leave it. Though he'd still be right next to you every step of the way.
💚Froggo the Fappyski💚
Like Kara, he'd be a little on edge, and would become slightly more reserved. He wouldn't like seeing his s/o like this, but he didn't want to make anything worse, so he just wnte to wait until you were comfortable telling him the issue, so you could work together on it.
When he sees his s/o break down apologising for their behaviour, (like Oso) he'd have to have a hot minute to figure out what was going on. But, he'd shakily go up to them and wrap his arms around their shoulders, bringing them close as they continued to sob. He'd quietly whisper reassuring words of 'its okay', and 'you've done nothing wrong'. He'd do his best to figure out the problem, and would likely be a bit more stubborn about it that his older brothers, but if his sweet s/o asked him to let it go, he would. He'd just take especially good care of his s/o, which means lots of de-stress evenings consisting of blankets and binge watching anime.
💜Edge Lord McCatto💜
When his s/o began acting more short tempered, he'd honestly think it was something he did. Did he leave cat food out in the way? They never mentioned that it bothered them, but Choro used to get annoyed by it, so maybe... Or were they finally getting sick of unburnable trash? He hoped not, he loved them a whole bunch.
Seeing his s/o break down, he'd be quicker to act than expected, and would quickly swoop in and hold his s/o tightly against his chest - he wants to give warmth and comfort, but can't bear seeing his s/o's face when they cry (he'd end up a sobbing mess too, and he has to be strong for them), so hides them in his chest as he kisses their forehead. He'd tell them that he knows what it's like, he's been there. Anxiety is a pain and stress is a burden, but he's there for them through both and more. He'd lie down and cuddle with them for a bit until they'd calmed down; but he'd still have his arms hanging around their waist when his s/o was explaining everything - just so he can pull them close again if they break down.
💛Sunflowers and Smiles💛
His internal expression the whole time his s/o acted,, kind of 'off'
would be this;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He'd be very confused. Have they not played any baseball? Do they want to go to the beach and play baseball?? Do they want a hug? Did I upset them? I don't think I did,,,
He wouldn't understand the reason why his s/o is acting differently, but he would know that they need him when they broke down infront of him. He'd pick them up and spin them around, shouting "It's okay I love you s/o!" before flopping down on the floor and gently cradling them in his lap. His voice would go oddly quiet after, but it's just Jyushi being very sincere about how much he cares for you. He would encourage you to tell him the issue, but in the end would just make sure that you know he's always happy to help you. He'd take you ourlt for ice cream and baseball to cheer you up.
💗Trending on Twitter💗
Potato Toddler would be dumbfounded. Did my cute lil ass upset them? Please, I can't have, I'm too FAB for that. His heart would pang with guilt a little inside when s/o got irritated at something, purely because he wasn't used to seeing them upset or angry at little things. It hurt.
But he knew its got to be something big if it caused them to break down in the living room, apologising for how they've been recently. He'd wipe away their tears and run his thumb over their cheeks, pinching them teasingly as he says "it's alright, as long as I'm not the reason you're upset~". He'd get a weak little poke in his cheek as a retort. Totty would wrap an arm around his s/o's waist and rest his forehead against theirs, one hand still wiping away tears as he let his sweetheart babble on. It was best to let them get everything out.
Hope you enjoyed anon! I felt this ask in the depths of my soul so this ended up being low-key indulgent to write sksjksjsj

can I have some hc's for Yandere!Matsus? :3333
Oh, i’m no good with yandere, but here ya go:
Oso: VERY TOUCHY, and is ALWAYS with his s/o 24/7.
If s/o is disobedient, he will secretly poison their oden and will only give them the antidote if they behave.
He loves physically hurting his s/o, only to take good care of them after; kinda like a big brother. *gasps* That’s it! He’ll force s/o to call him “onii-chan”! It’ll be perfect!
Kara: Killing his s/o is a HUGE no, no.
He rarely shows his angry side.
Loves writing romantic songs for s/o; though the lyrics are very questionable and quite disturbing.
Choro: Would basically be the “classic” yandere.
Likes playing games like “Doki Doki Literature Club!” and “Yandere Simulator”. It’s fun to force s/o to play too.
Makes sure to clean the blood after every kill. He doesn’t want s/o to come home to a bloody mess, now does he?
Ichi: HUGE ASS SADIST!
May treat his s/o like a “cat”.
If s/o breaks up with him, he’ll take it very badly. He’ll do something extreme like throw himself off a building as he hits the ground headfirst and dies. Having witness Ichimatsu commit suicide, s/o and new boyfriend or girlfriend are unable to be together because of their guilt over Ichi’s actions and break up. S/o swears to never date anyone ever again, which was all a part of Ichi’s plan…kinda.
Jyushi: Anyone who touches s/o, gets a baseball bat to the face!
VERY OBSESSIVE!
He starts off pretty friendly and happy at first, but then later on there’s lots of death/people being killed, regardless of their good intentions or innocence.
Totty: Ooo, la, la, a Razor Ryoba Saw is his weapon of choice~ It’s perfect for swiping necks with~ Plus, he thinks he looks super cute with it~ Tehe~💖
He’s super sweet towards his s/o! Almost…too sweet.
If s/o cheats on him, he’ll invite them over for some “dinner”. When s/o arrives though at the Matsuno household, no one seems to be there. While still waiting for Totty, or at least someone to show up, s/o checks on their phone and is surprised to see a message from Todomatsu. The first line of the text reads “You’re so ungrateful, how dare you cheat on me😠”, followed by alot of empty spaces. When they finally get to the last part of the message, it reads “get ready 2 die~ Tehe~😉” Confused and freaked out, s/o turns around with a shocked expression only to find Totty charging at them with a sharp kitchen knife. Before s/o can react, they are stabbed in the gut by him and fall to the ground, screaming in agony. Totty sobs and tells s/o how horrible and ungrateful they are, and that he’s been nothing but nice to them as he continues to repeatedly stab s/o who is incapable of resisting and begs Todomatsu to stop, but he doesn’t seem to listen. Or at least he doesn’t feel like listening to them. S/o ends up dying from all the blows.

Osomatsu for the character ask??
do I like them:
Tumblr media
OSOMATSU  MATSUNO IS THE ABSOLUTE FUKCING LOVE OF MY LIFE. I WOULD DIE FOR THAT MAN IN AN INSTANT IF HE TOLD ME TO. I CANT EVEN BEGIN TO EXPRESS HOW DISGUSTINGLY IN LOVE I AM WITH THIS STUPID USELESS TURD OF A HUMAN BEING
5 good qualities: He’s so cheerful! He loves and takes care of his brothers! Hes charismatic in his own unique little way! He has such a cute laugh and such a beautiful smile! He likes having fun!
3 bad qualities: Treats women like fucking garbage (though that makes him SO hot); spends all day eating junk food, smoking, and gambling; Is a literal garbage scum of the fucking earth human being but thats why I love him
favourite episode/etc: UHhh muhfucking. They dont give my boy enough episodes or skits that solely focus on him. I like basically any time when hes with all of his brothers and they all just go fucking feral, or when hes being a whiny little brat
otp: UMMM Osomatsu selfcest??? HELLOO?????? Theres so many great au versions of my boy thanks to hesokuri wars. Dragon Oso and devimega Oso, Devimega oso with nurse oso. Just shove a whole bunch of different Osos together and let them have a gangbang, theyre perfect for each other
brotp: Him an Choro, are fucking hilarious. Him and totty being best bros is so cute, because theyre both giant babies. Him and jyushi is so much fun because they both have so much energy and theyd have a lot of fun together just bullshitting around?
ot3: osomatsu/three random girls he thinks are hot. If osomatsu is getting off, Im getting off
notp:  tougoso. Holy shit. That ship is a huge trigger for me. I usually dont get bothered seeing those things in media or in fandom spaces, but tougoso makes me physically sick and is a big trauma trigger for me. Maybe its because Osomatsu means a lot to me, so seeing him go through that and knowing what its like to go through that just god, makes me want to fucking cry. I had to leave the fandom because there was tougoso everywhere. People were generally pretty good about putting a warning in their profiles if they shipped it, but like it was everywhere, to a point where I couldnt enjoy the fandom anymore because so many people were drawing and writing and talking about it that it just wasnt safe for me anymore :(
best quote: his beautiful laugh *ugly sobs*
head canon: This man does not wash his dick. You look at him and tell me he washes his penis. You pull that foreskin back and theres dick cheese for days. I.... I... id still suck him off though, l-love knows no boundaries 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I got to talking to someone about the Matsus as parents. Headcanon dump time
Oso: Could probably take or leave having kids - definitely WANTS them in his urge to play "big brother", but that feeling may fade once he realizes that it takes work. If he does, he tries to be the fun dad - maybe a little too lenient, so hopefully his spouse is willing to pick up his slack. The kids love him, though. They can come to him about ANYTHING and know they won't be in trouble if they've gotten themselves into a bad situation, he'll just help them get out of it. He also teases, but it's all in good fun, and learns to pull back when he's gone too far - he won't be one of those emotionally abusive parents who turns it around on the kids for being "too sensitive". He's not the type to push the kids to leave the nest - hell, he's probably going to sob like a baby the instant the last one leaves. Massive case of Empty Nest Syndrome for this guy. Even if he doesn't have his own kids, he'll be like this to his brothers' kids, to the point where his brothers almost wonder if he's trying to take their place. Shows off baby pictures, both of his and his brothers' kids, to strangers when drunk. Isn't his family just the cutest family ever
Kara: Definitely wants an heir to carry on his PERFECT STYLE, and isn't starting a family the most romantic way to truly seal the bond with one's soulmate? So of course he's having kids. They're going to have self-esteem through the roof if his encouragement sticks with them. Considers creative pursuits to be very important, so will never be one of those "why can't you have a talent that will make you money" parents - each of his children will be directed to find their perfect, SHINING talent! He'll have to be careful that he doesn't turn into a stage dad, though if he realizes that his kids are genuinely not interested in pushing their talents as far as they can go, he'll lay off. Might take an argument to get that through his head, though... kids could come home with crazy fashion, dyed hair, piercings, whatever, and he'll always accept it, because self-expression is important. (I'd also say tattoos, but given how frowned upon they are in Japan, I don't even know where a teenager would go to get one. But if he moved to a country that accepted them more and started his family there, tattoos would also be accepted.) Probably one of those parents who is totally convinced they have the Greatest Children In The World - like Oso, but where Oso is "they're the best because I made 'em", Kara's are the best because look at this macaroni portrait she made of my face, clearly she's on her way to becoming a superstar sculptor!
Choro: Well, of course he's having kids. That's what people do, right? He's supposed to find work as a salaryman, get married, then work to feed his family while his new wife keeps house. (I imagine that his wife in this scenario disagrees heavily with this notion, given his taste for strong-willed women. =P) Family life isn't nearly as smooth as he expects, it's not some picture-perfect movie, but in the end, he wouldn't trade them in for the world. ...though he does still try to be the model father to model children. So many lectures and fears that if his children act out, others will look at him as a failed parent... hopefully he stops stressing soon. He reads a lot of parenting books and freaks out when they contradict each other. When he's not so worried about doing this "right", though, he's a great dad - he's honestly proud of their accomplishments and talents, and makes sure they know that. And maybe they'll appreciate his pushes in the end, when the skills he taught them help them get into their university or trade of choice. Sure, he's strict, but he's good at teaching responsibility. And once he stops worrying so much, good at teaching how to make time for hobbies, too - he remembers how much he loved being an otaku, so maybe it really is okay to let his kids have a hobby like that, too. It doesn't mean he's spoiling them. (...he's probably also the sort who can try to be strict and scold a child, but then they pull the sweet puppy eyes and he melts. =P)
Ichi: Least likely to have kids; I may think he'd make a great dad, but he's terrified of screwing a child up for life. Is it worth it? ...n-not like he wanted a kid anyway, so... it's fine if he doesn't have them... and admittedly, of the six, he probably could cope best with never starting a family, as long as he gets to foster animals instead. But if he does have a child, the instant he lays eyes on his new baby, he's instantly in love. He's really good at the newborn stage - feeding, cuddling, playing, he loves all of it. ...then things get tricky when the child becomes mobile. It's really hard for him to keep up with a destructive toddler. But as the child gets older and needs emotional support, Ichi's great for that - he's a good listener, even if he doesn't always have advice; he certainly won't judge if his child has a mental illness, because he's been there. He'll be his child's biggest advocate in that case. He's the laid-back sort of father who may not take the family on tons of exciting vacations, but the little memories his kids have of him reading to them, teaching them how to play nicely with animals (even the ones that aren't "cute" - seriously, there's a Tabi with him protecting a snail and it is the Sweetest Thing, bugs will not be squished in Ichi's home), hugging them when they're upset... all those memories are still precious. He's still not the most emotionally open, but his kids can tell that he loves them, he just shows it in his own way. He's also fiercely protective; any dumbasses who disrespect his children will be hunted down. (Ichi, no, you can't punch teenagers)
Jyushi: Lots of kids! So many kids! Lots of kids to love! Sunshine boy has at least one small child crawling on him at any given time. He loves it! He's very active with his kids, and very good at cheering them up when they cry. Admittedly, he wouldn't be sure what to do if he had a kid who isn't athletic... but he'll figure out his own way of bonding with them. He focuses a lot on outdoor activities; maybe the non-athletic ones like picnics? Flower picking? You can swim without being athletic, just enjoy the water! ...he's AWFUL at discipline, it just doesn't cross his mind to because he's always been the type who just does what he likes, so again, his spouse will have to cover that. But he's happy to show his kids just how wonderful the world is, and while there may be sad times, they can always muscle muscle through! He really wouldn't want his kids to grow jaded with the world, not when there's so much beauty in everything.
Totty: Admittedly did not think this through. How cute, he has a baby he can dress up in cute outfits and show off to people to prove that he started a family, what have they been doing with THEIR lives? But it's quickly knocked into his head that a baby is an actual PERSON and he should be an actual PARENT. He'll settle in eventually, though not before freaking out at least once after his new daughter barfs all over the new dress he paid so much money to get her. But once he stops freaking out about the uncute realities of babies, he does make for a good father. Like Kara, he'll want to instill a sense of confidence in his kids, though with an added dash of "and if someone tells you that you're not great, step on them." The sort of dad who takes a million photos of his kids and puts them all over social media. Every conversation will turn into how great his kid is. LOOK AT HIS CUTE KID. He got way more attached than he expected. Please chill, Totty. =P His kids will be absolutely SPOILED with physical gifts - anything they want, as long as he has the money, they can have it. He's awful at saying "no". Hopefully he doesn't end up raising entitled brats... well, he can also teach them social skills better than any of his brothers can, so maybe it'll even out in the end. As long as he eventually learns to stop bailing them out of financial trouble and let them figure things out on their own every once in a while. He does genuinely love and support those kids - he just needs to learn how to say "no". At least his kids will grow up with great social skills; they’ll always know how to make themselves seem appealing to strangers. It’s just a matter of not using that ability for evil. (It fails on their uncles anyway. They’re all used to Totty’s shit, they’re not gonna be fooled just because it’s in a smaller package now.)

Osomatsu-San Story:
“Twins Forever…”
I’m just going to write these for fun Bc I’m bored no questions plz.
I’m going to add some of my ocs too if you don’t mind.
———————-
Chapter. 1 -The Beginning-
Ditrikz’s Pov
Yeah, it was real sunny that day, like something was getting worse, I was sitting on the roof with my favourite brother, Karamatsu. Him playing his guitar and me singing some kind of random lyrics, when one of the most unlikely sibling to come up, Osomatsu. The one elder one than me,
“What?”.
“Can Karamatsu and I have a little chat please?”.
“Sure”.
And like that they left, and so, I do this every time he goes off to do some thing, I play his precious guitar. I don’t know, I just watch and copy, like a twin should. A few minutes into playing my favorite song that karamatsu can play, I hear glass being smashed. I grab our stuff and head inside.
“Karamatsu! Osomatsu-niisan! What happe-”.
Right then and there, I saw something that would be key to a murder…
Karamatsu’s murder.
————————
Chapter. 2 -Cut It Out!-
Jyushi’s Pov
Later, Todo was treating a big red slap mark on Osomatsu-niisan’s face, I don’t know what happened but Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan and Karamatsu-niisan went back on the roof again. I later went down stairs and practiced my swinging, counting each one, I got to about 150-something when Choromatsu-niisan told me to come inside for Dinner. Karamatsu-niisan and Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan didn’t come down yet and Todo told me to go get them,
“Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan!Karamatsu-Niisan! Time for dinn-Eh!?”.
Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan was playing guitar for the first time, And she was so great at it!
“Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan! Whoa! You’re so good at that!”.
“Thanks Jyushimatsu, is it time for dinner already? Well thank you for getting us…”.
It sounded so shaken, Her Voice, I wonder why. We came back down to the others and ate, While we were eating though, Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan gave Osomatsu-Niisan Her death stare the whole time and I don’t know why, still.
“NIISANS! (Ahem, and Oneesan) WOULD YOU ALL CUT IT OUT!”.
We all blink and looked at Todo,
“What’s wrong with you all!? What’s going on!? Huh!? And why in the first place, did Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan Slap Osomatsu-Niisan!?”
At that moment Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan stood up and now gave Todomatsu a ferocious look, then, She jump on top of the table, spilling the food, and later had Todomatsu in her hands. We Split them apart immediately, hoping that would protect both of them…
Karamatsu’s Pov
After Ditrikz Was asleep we had a talk, about her behaviour.
“I’m sorry about that you guys…”.
But Choro had other ideas,
“You should make sure your twin doesn’t act like that again! Karamatsu! She almost hurt Todo!”.
“I said ,I was sorry!”.
Me,banging my hands on the table too. As if a fight was going to break out, Jyushi grabbed me, and Oso grabbed Choro. We never Once tried to break from their grasp.
“Please don’t do this now! Please Karamatsu-niisan!”.
“Cherrymatsu! Don’t you dare!”.
Yes, I wanted to fight Choromatsu very badly but, I couldn’t afford to hurt Jyushi in the progress. We sat back down, we were quiet until, screaming coming from the bedroom so we rushed there immediately. She was gone, widows were smashed, and I, we, just lost our sister…
——————-
Chapter. 3 -A girl still stolen-
Choromatsu’s Pov
When I woke up I thought it would be like every other day. Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan would be cooking breakfast or playing one of Osomatsu-niisan’s games on the Xbox with Jyushi. Karamatsu-niisan would sleep in, as usual, Osomatsu-niisan would be out shopping with Todo or playing cards with ichimatsu, but no. They left a note for me and Karamatsu but he was gone, I wonder where. It reads,
“Dear Karamatsu and Cherrymatsu, We went out to look for Ditrikzmatsu, if you want to help you wouldn’t mind to wait at home just in case if she comes back. Love your very immature older brother Tod-Osomatsu”.
“Ok so maybe Todo actually wrote this”.
I thought to myself, I wonder if Karamatsu’s going to be fine…
Osomatsu’s Pov
We were shouting, calling, and looking for Ditrikz. But Karamatsu was the most a train wreck after she disappeared, he didn’t care about his looks, wore a hoodie most of the time, didn’t even bother to impress the ladies, nor did he ever go back onto the roof. He and Ditrikz are the closest since they share so much and are so alike, they even sleep beside each other sometimes!
“Ditrikzmatsu! Ditrikzmatsu! Ditr-”
Someone was calling me, it was Ditrikzmatsu! I immediately answered the call,
“Ditrikzmatsu! Hello!?”.
“Osomatsu, where’s Karamatsu!?”.
“We split up he should be at the bridge, why?”.
“Karamatsu, he’s going to die!”.
“WHAT!?”.
“If you care about him you should call the others, hurry!”
I immediately called the others and headed there straight away and nearly dropped my phone multiple times, but I was too late… at the small heart shaped pond with a golden and pink bridge… ’“Lovely Pond”, Dizz was on her knees banging the ground…
“Karamatsu…”.
“No…”.
“This can’t be…”.
“Karamatsu-n-niisan…”.
“I…”.
Ditrikzmatsu looked up at Karamatsu’s corpse and Todomatsu crying on Jyushimatsu’s shoulder,
“KARAMATSU!!! W-we failed you… I failed you…”.
Ditrikzmatsu, was now changed…And so were we, Karamatsu… Was Dead.

Chapter. 4 -Ditrikzmatsu, I’m Sorry-
Todomatsu’s Pov
About a week later we got to see Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan’s last ballet performance, yes, Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan and Karamatsu-niisan did ballet together though we never came to any of them. This time Ditrikz did even bother to tell us, and this performance was to honour Karamatsu-niisan and to honour Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan’s leave. They were the best, and always Danced together, if they had to be spit or one would be unable to dance the other wouldn’t do it. Oh, and how’d I find out? Osomatsu-niisan saw an article and begged Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan for tickets. At this at this point Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan didn’t care and just gave Osomatsu-niisan the tickets.
We made it there just in time, The performance had already started! We took our seats and watched, we didn’t see Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan until the end, she was wearing a sparkly blue and bright cyan tutu, and wearing Karamatsu-niisan’s ballet jacket. She looked so beautiful up there and I’m guessing Karamatsu-niisan wouldn’t be so painful up there. We immediately regretted not coming all those times and made excuses. The music started to play, She was so elegant, graceful and so light on her feet. Once the Performance was over we went backstage to Tell Ditrikzmatsu-niisan how great she was but she already left. The others went home and I went to Lovely Pond,
“What the-”.
Someone spray painted the sign above that said “Lovely Pond” now said “Death Pond”. Workers were currently cleaning off the “Death” on the sign, I just sighed and walk in.
“*gasp!* Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan!”
She was there at the bridge about to drop something, it was a gun she pulled out of Karamatsu’s jacket.
“D-Ditrikzmatsu-On-oneesan… What are you doing with th-that?”
“It was Karamatsu’s…he told me if he ever died then I had to throw this into his favorite pond to pick up chicks…”
I felt so sorry, She was the closest to Karamatsu-niisan. She threw the gun in the pond and said sorry about scaring me, we also went shopping for groceries. All of a sudden Osomatsu-niisan called,
“Eh? Niisan whatcha call for?”.
“Cherrymatsu isn’t doing too well”.
“Eh? Choro? Why?”.
“Well he can’t stop vomiting”.
“Oh that’s just a disorder Karamatsu told me about, just look in the medicine cabinet and look at the top shelf in the right corner hidden by all the cold medicines”.
“Oh, than-Wait how did karamatsu know first!?”
“Well he woke up in the night and bought the medicine for Choromatsu, I kept Choro company when Kara went out”.
“Well, ok, thanks Ditrikzmatsu!”.
“*sigh* Come Todo we need to hurry up the others are waiting”.
I nodded and wondered, what other secrets did Karamatsu-niisan and Ditrikzmatsu-Oneesan share?

Chapter. 5 -Karamatsu...-
Jyushi’s Pov
“1…2…1…2…1…2…1…2…3…1…”
Just bored and hungry, I was just counting how many grapes would be Sweet or sour though, I ate a few. Choromatsu-niisan was occupied by vomiting, ichimatsu-niisan was taking a catnap so I could ask him later, Osomatsu-niisan was helping Choromatsu-niisan, Ditrikzmatsu-oneesan and Todomatsu were coming home from buying groceries, and Karamatsu-niisan is-
“K-Karamatsu-niisan…”
Pictures of the murder scene flashed in front of me, I had forgotten Karamatsu-niisan was…Dead…
“*sniff* Karamatsu-niisan…K-Karamatsu-niisan!!”
Ichi’s Pov
I heard Jyushimatsu crying and I awoke from my catnap and rushed to Jyushi,
“J-Jyushimatsu! What’s wrong!?”
“*sobs* K-k-Kara-m-matsu-n-niisan!!”
“Oh Jyushi…”

hey could you do a comphet choro’s awakening?
tysm
I did my best, some lil headcanons!!
brief sidenote that I tackled this idea under, like, how comphet would affect someone who's bi/pan, because I headcanon Choro as probably bi but very female-leaning, I guess? that's just my personal headcanon, I hope I don't step on any toes there and I hope this is still along the lines of something you're looking for at least partially! <3
(other sidenote that I'm a bisexual woman myself, so I've struggled a little bit with this myself, probably not to the degree I imagine Choro grappling with it, but, hopefully it still makes sense and isn't all over the place lol)
-
CHOROMATSU
The most likely moment for it to hit him is when maybe he’s hanging out with another guy who’s into idols. Maybe he met this guy at a concert, or online somewhere. It’s this guy’s smile, and the way he gives Choromatsu a parting hug when it’s time for both of them to go home, and the way his own heart races when he thinks about being so close to the other man.
Sure, it probably doesn’t last. It’s almost definitely a brief romantic fling, some kisses here and there, a few times holding hands, because Choromatsu is far too insecure about his feelings to let it go further or last longer. He has to figure himself out first before he has a kind of relationship with anyone. Even so… this guy took a lot of Choromatsu’s firsts, just not the one that seems to matter most to Choromatsu.
He struggles with this for a long time. The biggest worry he has is that he knows for a fact that he’s into women, so what does he call himself now that he’s sure he’s into men, too? Does he try to shove this all down and not talk about it? Can he even do that now that he’s come to a realization? He doesn’t have a good understanding of how to reconcile that attraction to women and attraction to men can both exist within him. He’s afraid that his attraction to one gender invalidates his attraction to the other, or that he has to ‘pick a side’… and if he has to do that, he wouldn’t know which side to pick.
It spikes his anxiety big time to think about it, but he knows he has to. He can’t go through life being lost in his own skin. He doesn’t like this feeling of being so confused when he thought he knew who he was. When he thinks about it, he feels like everyone expects him to only be into women, because that’s how he’s identified for most of his life. Thoughts of, Am I not supposed to be this way? and Am I sure I’m into guys or am I misinterpreting my feelings? only serve to frustrate him more, and it gets worse the longer he thinks about it while holding everything inside.
Things bubble over pretty quickly. Before he knows it, he’s sitting up at night, crying into Karamatsu’s shoulder with Totty rubbing his back, sobbing that he doesn’t trust himself, that he feels so lost and doesn’t know who he is anymore. Even though he tries to hide it at first, with his brothers encouraging him he knows he has to talk about what’s going on in his head. If he doesn’t talk about it, he knows he’ll never be truly comfortable with himself again.
Luckily, Karamatsu and Totty are the best ones to have for support, because they’ve both been there before. Totty came out as pansexual first, and Karamatsu in all his bisexual glory followed shortly after that, and Choromatsu finds it easier to talk to them about this than any of the others. Despite the fact that he knows all his brothers would understand and support him, it’s a big comfort to remember that these two at least know some of what he’s going through.
Eventually, he comes out shyly to the rest of his family, deciding to just say that he’s into men as well as women, and avoid labeling himself for now. Maybe he will later, when he’s a little more secure in how he feels. He knows there will probably be a lot of times that he doubts himself, and he’s still got a ways to go on a journey of self-discovery, but… at the moment, this is good. He can relax now that he’s come to terms with and accepted that, yes, he’s definitely into guys too.

Some People feel the rain (Others just get wet) Chapter 2-Karamatsu
Karamatsu wasn't sure how old they were when he and Todomatsu had began to grow apart.
Even more, he wasn't sure why.
They were so close as kids. Todomatsu would come to him with his every problem, and Karamatsu would always hold him in his arms until the youngest cried himself out and was ready to talk.
And when he did talk, Kara was more than ready to solve his problem right then and there for him.
He was defensive of all his brothers, but he found he was the most defensive of Totty.
The pink Matsu was the baby, after all. And it was his job as one of the eldest to always make sure that he was safe and sound, and properly taken care of.
Which was why whenever Totty came crying to him about Osomatsu being mean to him in some way or something among those lines, Karamatsu would always give the oldest a stern talking to.
Oso always told him that Totty was just being a big baby and that he needed to grow up, but Karamatsu would merely tell him to apologize anyways, which Osomatsu would eventually comply to do so with an annoyed look on his face.
Back then, Todomatsu always referred to Karamatsu as his best friend. His hero.
Karamatsu wasn't sure what happened to those days. Or what caused them to disappear.
All he knew was that he missed them. A lot.
Compared to then, these days he couldn't have a real conversation without his baby brother calling him painful and joining in on the bullying with their other brothers, or Totty calling him Nii-San like the very name was poision in his mouth, spitting it in disgust.
What exactly did he do to make Todomatsu hate him so much?
Did he do something? Nothing came to mind, not really.
Then again, there was that one incident where he and the others embarrassed Totty at work when they found out that the youngest had kept them a secret.
Maybe that was it?
No, this rift between the duo had started way before then. Still, he was pretty certain that the incident at work contributed to Todomatsu's hatred towards Kara.
Todomatsu would avoid every opportunity he got to be around the second son, and it always stung when the brother he was formerly closest to joined in on the making fun of him.
It wasn't like he could say anything, he didn't want the others to think he was being a big baby, especially not Todomatsu.
It would only make the latter hate him more than he already did.
Karamatsu was tired. He was tired of being in pain, tired of being bullied for simply being himself.
A lot of the time he would always use a knife or razor blade to numb the pain. But he was sick of that.
It was about time that he took action.
Which was why he seeked out the youngest brother himself, hoping to borrow his phone so he could get the directions that he needed.
"Stop being so painful."
Those words stung more than he wanted to admit. He again found himself wondering where it all went so wrong with him and Todomatsu. Why did the youngest hate him so much? What did he do?
He already had to deal with this kind of confusing agony with one of his baby brothers--Ichimatsu. He didn't know why the fourth son hated him so bad that he wished he were dead. And now Todomatsu did too.
He had two brothers hating the shit out of him.
Kara supposed it wouldn't be long until Choro, Jyushi and even Oso turned against him as well.
He suddenly shook his head, snapping out of his daze.
What did it matter? He'd be gone soon.
Instead, he managed to choke out a weak, "O-Of course. My apologies, Bruzzah."
He finally let himself crumble when he heard Todomatsu leave.
Karamatsu slid to the floor, leaning against the wall. A small sob escaped his lips as he desperately turned Totty's phone on with shaking hands.
Why? Why was this happening to him? Why did he have to be such a shitty brother? Why couldn't he be a good brother for once in his life? For him? For his brothers?
Maybe then they would actually love him, including Todomatsu.
As he tapped away at the keyboard, he couldn't help but think back to the pink Matsu.
Todomatsu has sure been hanging out with Osomatsu a lot lately. Hanging around him, confiding in him and talking to him.
Didn't he used to do that with Karamatsu back in the day? Why didn't he do that with Karamatsu anymore? Why not him? Why Osomatsu?
Kara shook his head once again. No. It was fine. If Todomatsu wanted to talk to Osomatsu over him, that was fine. There was no way that he was jealous of Oso.
Wasn't he, though? Was he truly jealous? Over Osomatsu?
No. Even if he was, he'd never admit it. Totty loved Osomatsu, he didn't love Karamatsu and that was the end of it. He wouldn't be able to change that if he tried.
Finally managing to get his mind back on track, he grinned when he finally recieved the results he was looking for.
"Bingo." He whispered to himself with a big grin.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Todomatsu yawned softly as his eyes gradually fluttered open. He first noticed that Osomatsu was still asleep, causing him to scowl.
"Shitty eldest, he said he'd wake me up," he muttered under his breath as he carefully sat up and pushed himself away from the oldest Matsu's chest.
He glanced worriedly at the clock, but relaxed once he realized that he still had 20 minutes to get ready.
The youngest sighed, noticing there was a blanket drapped over the back of the couch and hesitantly grabbed at it, spreading it over Osomatsu.
Turning, he nearly jumped at the sight of Ichimatsu in his respective corner, playing with one of his cats.
He exhaled deeply, placing a hand to his chest and willing his heart to slow down from the small jump-scare.
"Oi, Ichimatsu-niisan," Todomatsu asked, walking over. "Have you seen Karamatsu-niisan? He has my phone and I have to leave really soon..."
"Shittymatsu?" Ichimatsu hummed in disinterest, scratching a cat that Totty recognized to be Cocoa behind it's ears. "He's upstairs in the room. Last time I checked, he looked really happy at whatever he was looking up."
"God dang it, Karamatsu-niisan," Totty growled, walking past Ichimatsu and out of the room. "I have to leave in fifteen minutes. You better not be looking up anything weird!"
The pink clad marched upstairs and approached the room, sliding the door open with a call of, "Karamatsu-niisan, I have to go! Give me my phone back!"
Said second eldest jumped slightly, causing Todomatsu to frown.
Kara finally turned, flashing him one of his smiles, "Ah my dear Totty~is it really finally time? Well then, allow me to finish up and then I shall give my lovely brother--"
"Cut the bullshit, Nii-San. Why were you scared when I came in here?" Todomatsu questioned, tone snarky.
"You merely startled me, my dear bruzzah" Kara responded simply, appearing to be getting rid of whatever he was searching up.
Todomatsu caught onto this and glared suspiciously, "What were you looking up?"
"Nothing of importance, my dear, sweet Todomatsu~" Kara responded curtly once again, finally handing him his phone. "I thank you profusely for allowing me to use your phone once again, brother. If there is anything you need, please do not hesitate to let me know."
Totty grabbed his phone and looked back and forward between the blank search page and the seemingly innocent smiling face of his older brother.
He finally sighed, "Bye, Karamatsu-niisan." He said, turning and deciding not to question him any futher as he knew he wouldn't get any answers out of him.
Todomatsu wasn't sure what the second eldest had said, something like "Have fun" or "Have a good time" or something among those lines. He could barely hear as he walked away from the room and quite honestly couldn't bring himself to care as he moved further and further away.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"We'll be right back, Totty!"
"Alright! Take your time!"
Todomatsu smiled happily, waving with a small laugh as Aida and Sachiko left to go to the restroom.
Totty lowered his hand and sighed, staring at the table. The more he got lost in his thoughts, the more his smile wavered and eventually dropped.
What had Karamatsu-niisan been looking up earlier? From what he heard from Ichimatsu, he looked like he was really enjoying himself.
And why did he get so scared when Todomatsu entered the room? It all made no sense.
'Well', he thought as he pulled his phone out of his pocket. 'I guess if it bothers me that much I can just check.'
Todomatsu truly didn't know what he was worried about, really. It was probably just something pervy or painful. Still, he'd feel better after he checked.
He inhaled and exhaled deeply as he unlocked his phone and entered the safari, pulling up the most recent history.
The pink clad almost dropped his phone due to how bad he started trembling because of the sight before him.
What is the most painful way to die?
What is the least painful way to die?
How to hang a noose from a ceiling?
How do I successfully slit my wrists?
I wanna die
There were many more besides those, but Todomatsu couldn't bring himself to look. He clicked his phone off and shoved it back in his pocket, trembling all over.
He felt like sobbing and puking at the same time, but he decided that he'd rather not make a fool of himself and keep his lunch down so at this point he felt like breaking down in tears.
So many questions swirled in his head.
How long? Why? How long had his big brother been thinking about this? What brought this on in the first place? Why did he keep it from everyone? Why did he keep it from him? Was he actually planning on doing it? When? Where? How? How had he been so oblivious this whole time? Why? Why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why...why!?
Todomatsu desperately clamped a hand to his mouth, stifling a sob as tears poured down his cheeks against his will. His shoulders jerked as multiple muffled sobs ripped their way out of his throat and he slumped in his seat.
"Fuck..." he gasped, punching the tabletop weakly as a whimper passed his lips. "Damn it..."
How had he not known? There were signs, there were always signs, and yet...he missed them.
Sniffling, he straightened up in his seat and pulled his phone back out, wiping at his face with his free arm. He texted Aida and Sachi.
'Sorry, you guys. Turns out I'm not feeling so good so I had to head home. See you next time.'
He then proceeded to place a tip on the table, grab his bag and walk out of the door of the restaurant they were in.
The whole way home, his mind swirled with terrifying thoughts. He was scared that he'd see Karamatsu hanging from somewhere or about to jump off the roof.
Halfway he recieved a text from Sachi.
'Aww.. :( Don't worry, we understand. Feel better. :)'
It was almost enough to make him smile. Almost.
Walking through the front door and shutting it behind him, he saw Choromatsu on the couch in the living room, reading a light novel.
"Choromatsu-niisan, is Karamatsu-niisan upstairs?" Todomatsu asked, feeling like he would panic if the answer were no.
"Yup, he's playing guitar." Choro replied, not even bothering to glance at his youngest brother as he flipped a page. "Oh, by the way dinner's ready in ten minutes. Be down by then."
"'Kay." Totty replied shakily, turning and walking towards the staircase.
When the youngest stood in front of the door to their room, he could hear Karamatsu playing inside as well as softly singing.
He swallowed hard, "K-Karamatsu-niisan, can I come in?" He asked loudly.
The music instantly stopped and he recieved a hearty, "Of course, my dear brother~! Come on in!"
Totty gulped and opened the sliding door where he saw Kara sitting inside, looking at him expectantly with his guitar in his lap as Todomatsu shut the door behind him.
"You know you don't have to ask," Karamatsu couldn't help but laugh, smiling at Todomatsu fondly as the youngest Matsu walked and sat across from him. "It's your room too, brother."
"I know that," Todomatsu stated, biting the inside of his cheek nervously. "Just wanted to be...polite in a way, I guess."
Kara hummed, looking down and playing with one of his guitar strings.
"I actually wanted to ask you something, Karamatsu-niisan," he spoke up, grabbing the second eldest's full attention. "You know how you told me this morning that if I needed anything from you, to just ask? Well, I need something."
"What is it, my wonderful brother? Whatever it is, it's yours." Karamatsu grinned, and Todomatsu felt nauseated at how obviously fake it was.
"Well, I've been thinking and," Todomatsu did his best to smile himself. "Let's hang out tomorrow, nii-san. Just the two of us. A hangout for the whole day. It'll be tons of fun."
Karamatsu's eyes sparkled and a big grin appeared on his face, but the sparkle dimmed slightly and the grin faltered, "Not that I am not honored, my sweet Totty, but why do you want to hang out with me? Would you not rather hang out with our other brothers?"
"I hang with them plenty. I never get to spend time with you anymore, Karamatsu-niisan. And besides, what I have planned for us really wouldn't spark the others' interest at all."
Kara perked up slightly at this, "Indeed it has been a while," he nodded, thinking for a moment before posing, "Very well then, brother! We shall hang out tomorrow as you have requested!"
Todomatsu felt slight relief and he giggled, lurching forward and throwing his arms around the older, causing Karamatsu to freeze up as he wasn't used to this kind of affection from any of his brothers, especially not Todomatsu.
Kara smiled weakly after a minute, returning the embrace and rubbing his back.
"We're gonna have so much fun!" Totty laughed a little more before letting go and standing, calling out, "See you at dinner, Karamatsu-niisan!" Before walking out of the room.

Osomatsu-San 2020 Part 1-Struggle
Chapter 2-I'm Falling apart, I'm barely breathing (With a broken heart that's still beating)
Osomatsu shot up drenched in sweat, heart pounding as his chest heaved while he fought for air. Warm tears streaked his cheeks and fell onto the futon.
The first thing that came to mind were his brothers. He desperately looked around.
They had to be still around, there was no way that they were fucking dead, no way that they killed themselves, they had to be alive, they just had to be--
His heart finally began slowing down once his eyes fell upon Karamatsu and Ichimatsu on his far left, and Todomatsu and Jyushimatsu on his far right, all fast asleep and not a bloody mess.
Oso sighed heavily, wiping sweat from his brow and tears from his cheeks with his pajama sleeve.
He swallowed hard and did a head count.
One, two, three, four. Okay, good.
Osomatsu almost went back to sleep before realization struck him and he backtracked.
Wait, four??
He double checked and felt his panic rising at realizing that Choromatsu was missing.
'Okay...okay, calm down.' he thought to himself as he quietly slipped out of bed and stood, carefully stepping over Kara and Ichi and landing safely on the other side. 'He's probably just downstairs getting a late night drink or something like that. He's fine.'
If only his racing heart believed his head.
Osomatsu walked down each stair quickly and quietly. He noticed a light on in the living room and felt his heart slow down.
Sure enough, once he slid open the door the third born came into view. He was sitting on the couch, flipping through one of his books. When he heard the door slide open, he looked up and gave Osomatsu a surprised look.
"Oh..." he said quietly as Osomatsu stepped in and slid the door shut behind him. "Osomatsu-niisan...sorry, did I wake you coming down here?"
Osomatsu shook his head, walking over and sitting close to the latter. "I was coming back from the bathroom, and I just noticed you were gone, so..I thought I'd just check, y'know?"
Well, that wasn't a complete lie.
"Oh." Choro said again, more sheepishly this time. "Sorry, Oso. I couldn't sleep so I decided to come down here to read some and...well you know the rest. You can go back to bed. I shouldn't be too much longer." he stated and returned his attention to his light novel.
Osomatsu chewed his lip. He really wasn't ready to go back and have another one of those horrific nightmares. And he could really use the closeness of one of his brothers right now...bad...
"Actually...." Osomatsu said awkwardly, averting his gaze away as he nervously rubbed the back of his neck and Choromatsu spared a glance at him. "I, uhh....I really can't sleep now either, and....Onii-chan could really use some cuddles right about now..."
Choromatsu sighed in frustration. He really wasn't a physical person. In fact he hated physical contact all together. He didn't allow his own brothers to touch him too much. They all knew that he didn't like physical contact, so they never pushed him.
But Osomatsu, of course, always did the polar opposite. Osomatsu was the only person he allowed to touch or be affectionate with him besides his parents. And that was only because the shitty eldest pushed him for cuddles and hugs nonstop. He wouldn't stop bugging Choro unless the third born gave him what he wanted, and that was either a big hug or cuddles, then he would go to bug Totty or Kara or someone else.
Choromatsu hated it, but deep down he did love Osomatsu, so he put up with it. Plus Oso wouldn't stop being such a pain in the ass and leave him to his books or job magazines until he did so.
Ready to tell Osomatsu off, he paused. Getting a good look at his big brother, he noticed that Osomatsu didn't look so good. He saw that Oso's eyes were red, puffy and bloodshot and his cheeks were still slightly covered with....dry tear-tracks?
Had he been crying?
Choro's eyes softened at the eldest. "Osomatsu.." he muttered softly. "Did you...did you have a nightmare?"
Osomatsu's nightmares were always bad. Not that when he and the others had nightmares they were pleasant, but considering how Osomatsu owned the role of oldest, his were especially bad. His nightmares were always gruesome. Whether it be that monster Tougou holding Choro and his brothers captive and torturing them and forcing Oso to watch helplessly, or just Oso being unable to save them from the grasps of death or unable to be there during their times of need, it never ended well regardless.
And if Osomatsu had one so bad that it moved him to tears...
Something must've happened to Choro and the others and it must've been bad.
Said eldest flinched at the mention, stiffening and didn't say anything.
But no answer was all the confirmation that Choromatsu needed.
Putting the book on the table beside the couch, he mumbled, "I'll be right back, niisan."
He got up to leave, but frowned when he felt a hand tugging at his wrist.
"Wait, Choro..."
Said NEET turned, and his heart almost cracked at the sight of genuine worry shining in Osomatsu's eyes. He had never seen Osomatsu so shaken up over a nightmare besides Tougou ones.
Choromatsu frowned, squeezing his hand lightly. "I'll be back." he repeated firmly, but not unkindly.
Osomatsu waited for another second before letting him go. Choro glanced at him once more  before turning and leaving the room.
Five minutes later, Choromatsu returned with a warm blanket in his arms. He sat back down and laid down a little, reluctantly opening his arms for the eldest but all signs of annoyance gone from his eyes and face and instead replaced with a mixture of empathy and sympathy.
He wasn't the best at comforting and not the most physical person, but for his brothers especially if it's Oso he'll always try.
Osomatsu all but dove into his open arms, laying beside him and burying his face into his chest, situating himself. Choromatsu spread the blanket on top of both of them.
"Wanna talk about it?" Choromatsu asked after a few minutes of silence. "It might help, but...if it's too hard for you, you don't have to in all honesty."
Osomatsu sighed, "No, it's okay...if it'll help..." he trailed off and gulped, feeling the memories come back to him. "J-Just give me a second."
Choromatsu hummed, "Take your time then. No rush." he said, and after some consideration he reached out and rubbed Oso's back with one hand. He could feel the eldest shaking next to him and did his best to help him calm down.
Osomatsu sighed again, but this time it was a sigh of content. He was grateful that it was Choromatsu helping him through his darkest hours. Luckily, the comfort of Choro's calming heartbeat and the younger brother rubbing his back was just enough encouragement for him to speak up.
"I thought everything was normal," he began, swallowing thickly. "At first, I mean. But when I woke up, you were all gone. I didn't know where any of you were. When I went downstairs, I saw Mom making breakfast and all, but...I still couldn't find any of you. Eventually I just asked Mom where you guys were, y'know? 'Cause I figured she'd seen at least one of you, but..."
Fresh tears filled Osomatsu's eyes and he did his best to keep them at bay.
"Sh-She started freaking out, and she started mentioning random stuff like doctors and everything...and then she told me that she hated to remind me, but....you guys killed yourselves. All of you did."
The hand rubbing his back paused in it's motions, and Osomatsu just knew that Choro was just as starstruck as he was.
He exhaled shakily, "K-Karamatsu j-jumped off a building...Jyushi s-slit his wrists...Jyushi! Ichimatsu shot himself, T-Totty st-starved himself, and you..."
Osomatsu blinked hard, only for some tears to escape and stream down his cheeks. "Y-You fucking...you hung yourself! On our bedroom ceiling, and when I got home I already knew it was too late, b-but....I g-got you d-down, a-and y-you just looked s-so lifeless and...shit..."
A sob ripped itself from Osomatsu's throat, and Choromatsu instantly went back to rubbing his back as he broke down.
"Osomatsu...Osomatsu-niisan, it's okay," he cooed as his oldest brother clung to him. Out of all of his nightmares that Choromatsu knew about, none of them were this dark. "None of that's going to happen, niisan, I promise. None of us are going to hurt or kill ourselves. It's all in your head, Oso. None of that will happen. I won't let it. Okay?"
The most Osomatsu could do was nod weakly as he continued to sob while trying to get ahold of himself.
A little while passed, and Osomatsu's sobs dissolved into small sniffles.
"....Hey, Choro?" he asked after a moment's hesitance, snuggling closer to him.
"Hm?" Choromatsu replied, hand having moved from his back to running his fingers through Osomatsu's slightly greasy locks.
"You'd tell Onii-chan if you were depressed or something, right?"
There was a slight pause in the caressing of his hair and hitch in Choro's breath, but Osomatsu was far too tired to notice.
"Of course, Oso." Choromatsu answered, and before anything else could be said he added, "Get some rest. We'll sleep out here tonight."
Osomatsu only replied by yawning sleepily, squeezing Choromatsu's torso slightly tighter and pressing his face to the third eldest's chest before his eyes drooped and finally shut, drifting off into a restless slumber.

Osomatsu Month 2020 Part 1-Struggle
Chapter 1-I wish that I could fly away up in the sky like a bird so high (Oh I just might try)
Summary: The first time it happened, Osomatsu shook it off. It was just a silly nightmare.
The second time it happened, Osomatsu began to worry.
'It's just a nightmare.' he reminded himself over and over again.
The third time it happened, he pinched himself hard and froze when he realized nothing was happening.
This wasn't a nightmare.
It was reality.
Story under cut!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Osomatsu yawned and stretched his limbs, frowning when he felt empty spaces all around him.
The hell?
He felt around him one more time, frown deepening once he realized that he wasn't imagining things, and that the spots around him truly were empty.
Yawning again, he finally opened his eyes and sat up looking around the room as he rubbed at his eyes.
Where were his brothers?
There's no way that they could all be out at this time in the morning. Not all of them were early risers.
Especially not Ichimatsu, considering how the edgy catlord was in bed until around 10 or 11 a.m., noon on bad days which was most days.
Maybe they were downstairs?
As he got up, a part of Osomatsu doubted it as it was pretty quiet downstairs, then again as Oso glanced at the clock he noticed it was only 6 a.m. Pretty early.
No wonder his brothers were being so quiet. They were probably trying to not wake their parents.
Osomatsu huffed, still half-asleep as he pulled on his hoodie. He had a terrible bedhead, his hair sticking up in multiple angles.
He didn't bother going to the bathroom to brush it down, as the thought of Choromatsu lecturing him for his hair and running to get a brush brought a smirk to his lips.
Once he got downstairs, the smell of fresh sausage and eggs filled his nostrils and his mouth instantly watered.
"Morning, Mom." Osomatsu greeted as he turned the corner to see Matsuyo at the kitchen stove. "It smells really good."
Said woman turned and offered her eldest son a tired smile. "Good morning, my precious NEET. How are you feeling?"
Osomatsu was slightly confused at this question as he was clearly fine, but his grin never faltered as he answered,"Pretty good."
"That's so good to hear. Go take a seat at the table, breakfast is almost ready."
The red clad nodded mutely and went to go do as he was told. Upon sitting down, he noticed that his brothers weren't anywhere to be seen.
His grin finally dropped.
Where were they?
In a matter of minutes, Matsuyo was by his side and setting his meal in front of him. "Here you go, dear."
"Thanks." Osomatsu said as he picked up a piece of jelly toast and bit down on it.
"Hey, Ma?" he asked in between chews as his mother sat beside him. "Have you seen Karamatsu at all today? Or Choro and Totty and the others?"
Much to Oso's surprise and slight fear, he watched as Matsuyo's smile dropped and all the color drained from her face, tears filling her eyes.
"Mom?" he asked once he swallowed, frowning worriedly. "Are you okay?"
Matsuyo sighed shakily, wiping the tears from her eyes and managing to throw him another obviously fake smile.
This one was far more pain-filled and exhausted compared to the other one. Oso didn't know why that tied his stomach in knots.
"Yes honey, I'm fine. I just...I suppose I should have been expecting this. The doctor said this might happen."
Osomatsu felt his blood run cold. Doctor? What doctor? Were his brothers okay? And what did all of this have to do with him? What was going on??
He swallowed hard before muttering, not trusting his voice, "What are you talking about?"
Matsuyo sighed, reaching out and touching his suddenly shaking hand. "Osomatsu, you must have forgotten. And I'm so sorry to remind you of this, but..."
His mother looked him in the eyes before murmuring softly, "You really don't remember? It's been a month since it happened. Last month...Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu and Todomatsu....they....they all committed suicide, sweetie."
Osomatsu felt like someone had just ripped his heart out of his chest and smashed it in two. His head spun and he felt sick to his stomach. He blanched, eyes widening.
Several minutes passed before he was able to respond, his throat dry and his reply a mere croak.
"Y--You're lying," is what he ended up saying. "Th--This is a cruel joke, Mom."
He was going to throw up.
"I promise you, this isn't one." Matsuyo shook her head solemnly, rubbing his shoulder. "You were the one who found Choromatsu, remember? He--he hung himself....from your bedroom ceiling...Karamatsu jumped off a building from what I remember....Ichimatsu sh-shot himself...I c-can't recall how Jyushimatsu did it....I believe he slit his wrists? A-And Todomatsu, he...he starved himself...oh, I'm so, so sorry, baby..."
Osomatsu didn't respond. He could feel himself practically shaking.
The worst part was that he could feel it all coming back to him now.
He walked into his bedroom, the moment he looked up he felt a scream die in his throat when he saw the third born hanging from the ceiling, he rushed over and pulled him down and untied the stupid fucking noose from around his neck, he held his baby brother close to him and shook him as if it would do anything, he sobbed brokenly and uncontrollably when the cold reality hit him, he held him tightly to his chest as he sobbed--
His parents sitting him down to tell him about the deaths of his other brothers--
Oh God--
His stomach lurched violently, and in a heartbeat he was leaning over into the sink as his dinner from the previous night and the little breakfast he had this morning came back up with a vengeance.
His mother was instantly by his side, gently rubbing him back and coaxing him to calm down, that everything is okay.
Osomatsu wanted to pull away and scream at her, scream at her that he won't calm down because no it wasn't okay, none of this was okay. His brothers were dead and it was all his fault because he failed them when they needed him the most.
It took what felt like forever, but the NEET finally calmed down and panted, wiping his lips with the sleeve of his hoodie.
Matsuyo continued to rub his back with one hand, using the other to turn on the garbage disposal to get rid of the ick in the sink.
Once it was all gone and the disposal was turned off, another breakdown quickly hit him.
Tears sprang into his eyes and he sobbed brokenly, falling weakly to his knees and hiding his face in his arms as he pulled his knees to his chest.
He openly sobbed about how he was so terrible, how he was the worst big brother in the world, how he failed his baby brothers, how he was a failure, how much they most likely hated him wherever they were now.
He continued to sob in agony, ignoring Matsuyo's attempts to comfort him that he definitely didn't deserve.
Osomatsu clenched at his hair as he sobbed harder.
God I'm such a fuck up. I'm so sorry guys. Please....come back....

The theater screening will include episodes for each Matsu. I can’t tell from the wording if it’s one per Matsu or if some of them will get several, but assuming one each, I will now attempt to predict which episodes will be chosen. (And probably be wrong.)
Oso: “The Melancholy Of Osomatsu”? There aren’t a lot of options that showcase just him. I doubt it will be “Letter”, since that’s a weird one to open with or play without the finale. I know nothing says they’re playing them in birth order, but it makes sense that they would, so no “Letter”.
Kara: “The Karamatsu Incident”. I’m sure of that. That’s the one he’s known for now, for better or worse. He and Oso are why I’m leaning more toward the “one episode each” option, because if the others get more than one episode, Oso and Kara are going to end up shafted. Oso’s other options don’t stand as well on their own or showcase just him without his brothers taking over, and the only other option I can think of for Kara is “The Life Of Chibita’s Flower”, where Kara’s a b-plot and overshadowed by Chibita’s more emotional arc. Poor Kara just can’t win.
Choro: Either “Accident” or “Choromatsu Rising”. “Accident” seems more likely because of how iconic Fappymatsu’s become, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up being “Choromatsu Rising” for the character exploration and because “Accident” does sort of drift away from Choro as it goes.
Ichi: I’d pick “ESP Kitty”, but we all know it’s gonna be “The Ichimatsu Incident”. It’s one of the most iconic episodes of the entire show, after all. Well, I won’t complain, it’s still damn hilarious. Poor Ichi, I’m sorry for finding amusement in your suffering
Jyushi: “Jyushimatsu Falls In Love”. I doubt it’ll be “Jyushimatsu Festival”, since that’s a full 22 minutes and I don’t think any one short from that stands on its own well enough. If it ends up being a “Festival” short, my personal pick would be “Jyushimatsu and Concepts” or maybe “Jyushimatsu Pan”, but I’m leaning far more toward it being “Jyushimatsu Falls In Love”. (I would so want to watch that one in a theater surrounded by fellow fans so we can all sob together while watching the episode in glorious big screen surround sound. Jyushi crying in hi-def audio! Awesome!)
Totty: I honestly have no idea between “Todomatsu and the Five Demons”, “Todomatsu’s Line”, or “Star Of Hope, Todomatsu”. I think my personal preference would be “Star Of Hope”, but they’re all good choices, and I don’t know which one would be more likely. (”Star Of Hope” may lose probability points because while it’s great development for Totty, its main selling point is in the mixer auditions, which are about everyone but him. On the other hand, it may be more likely because of Atsushi’s popularity, despite him only existing for fifteen seconds. I have no clue.) He’s another argument against giving anyone more than one episode, in the other direction - he has three strong contenders, making it even more obvious that some of his brothers didn’t get as much spotlight.
