Suspicious Toxic Waste

Danny wouldn't say that the ghosts were cheating to visit the human world because technically they weren't, they were just hiding in plain sight, using the portals near or within the sea.

None of them needed to breathe and hardly anyone questioned the glowing things that appeared in the sea anyway. Of course, he didn't think he'd find a whole underwater city down there, with a government and a king, but thanks to invisibility he was sure they hadn't noticed them.

Well, he was almost sure, because a bat-shaped yacht was cruising the docks and the Atlanteans were strangely on guard. Danny wondered what was wrong with them.

Of course, Bruce and Arthur were investigating the sudden increase of toxins in the sea. Many locals (Atlanteans and Gothamites) had claimed to see something constantly glowing green floating near the shore, too far away to confirm what it was, and both feared it was Kryptonite.

#dpxdc #Ghosts missed the human world #Danny missed it too #so he decided to sneak away #technically the manufactured portals no longer existed #but there were many natural and stable portals in the sea #he took advantage of that #and some ghosts followed him #They stayed mainly on the coasts and beaches #although Danny took the liberty of exploring cities #he didn't think it was a bad thing #dp x dc #dc x dp #Arthur and Bruce are worried #Reports of a toxic green glow in the sea are increasing #and they can't find the source #They worry it's Kryptonite #they are going to get a surprise if they catch the culprit

#pmatga #pacman and the ghostly adventures #pacster #cylindria #pmatga fanart #art #my art #pmatga comic #Here I am with another ramble on the show and its ✨missed opportunities✨#Cyli grew up surrounded by nature (from what was alluded to at least) since she grew up in a treehouse #and I'm choosing to believe that her family's treehouse was actually not the stereotypical wooden box held together by branches and screws #but an actual livable house that's big enough for a family of four that just happens to be built into a big tree #anyway so Cyli clearly cares for nature and has a sentimental attachment to it #and going to Maze High in the city meant that she's been far away from home for the longest time ever #You can't tell me she won't get homesick from time to time #She WAS shown to feel a bit embarrassed about growing up in a treehouse though #so perhaps she hides it well and just pretends to not care over it #but deep down she misses that treehouse dearly #So missed opportunity from the show to explore her background in a bit more depth like WHY she cares so much about nature #because to her #nature is her home

Yesterday inside the James R. Thompson Center, the Chicago landmark designed by architect Helmut Jahn. 🚀 My dad remembers getting a bowl of noodles in the basement here. The soaring atrium is currently closed to the public for renovation before Google takes over, with all entrances locked except one where security guards were. This is how the convo went. Me: "I'm here to take photos of the sculpture" (see the second slide of yesterday's post) Guard: "Are you here with... uh..." Me, taking advantage of the pause: "Yep I'm here with the Chicago Architecture Biennial" (Narrator: "She was not here with the Chicago Architecture Biennial") And he let me on in. 😊 // (c) Jenny Lam 2023
