With Ubuntu: Drivers not found during Windows 11 Installation. Here is how!

PROBLEM:

So I was trying to install a fresh or clean copy of Windows 11 Professional on my computer, and everything was pretty straight forward with the obvious. Basically you just download the ISO and flash it to a USB stick. The problem is, when you boot up the Windows 11 setup, and click "Install" it literally cant find any storage drivers. Meaning it cant see any hard drive capable of installing Windows on. But what the heck!?! Its windows 11! Till this moment, I dont know why, and was disappointed. But I do have a high-end latest built computer, so maybe that played a factor!

ANYWAY! I FOUND A SOLUTION!

SOLUTION:

WoeUSB! Using WoeUSB actually is designed to prepare a Windows Installation on a bootable USB from Linux, in my case, Ubuntu 22(23 has issues)

With Terminal: (INSTALL THE Pyhthon-pip for Installation)

sudo apt install git p7zip-full python3-pip python3-wxgtk4.0 grub2-common grub-pc-bin

(INSTALL WoeUSB with pip3 command* NOTE THAT PIP3 ONLY WORKS ON UBUNTU 22, NOT 23.)

sudo pip3 install WoeUSB-ng

Once that's install, its pretty self explanatory. Find the app in the applications section and launch.

Have a copy of windows in ISO, or you can Download a copy and its native website. Follow the on screen and boom! I hope that helped someone!

Something about Miranda choosing to operate under less than ideal conditions (poor lighting, dirty, messy) in that "lab" of hers is so damn sexy. Like, she could take up quarters literally anywhere in the village. Hell, she could move into the castle. Alci surely wouldn't mind (she's salivating at the mere thought). Or she could simply throw the current inhabitants out and take it all for herself. Alci would still simp for her and do the dirty work in hopes it will get her something I know I would.

But nope, Miranda chooses that hovel of a lab to spend most of her time in because she's a workaholic, and all that matters are results. She cba about the state of her surroundings.

(She got her housewi-I mean assistant for that.)

Ah, yes, my favorite January tradition: heartbreak in tiny series installment form :)

This one is about a turtle-obsessed disabled Russian girl who gets adopted by an American family and fitted for a prosthetic she doesn't ask for, want, or need, and then she splashes through her Door.

I love Russian language and culture things (shout out to accidentally double minoring in college), so I was excited for a Russian protag and a Russian-coded Door world! Excellent enrichment in my enclosure. Neat cultural expansion on the Wayward Children universe (multiverse? cosmos?? insert appropriately scaled setting word here).

I also liked the aquatic nature of Belyyreka--terrifying giant frogs and delightful giant turtles and delightful talking foxes on the riverbanks were all lovely, and the worldbuilding about different weights of water was neat! Very mind-bendy kind of setting, I dig it.

This installment felt very slim (146 pages in my copy), and Our World Heavy--the first 46 pages were in Colorado, and the last 100 were in Belyyreka, but it felt like we did More Frequent and Larger Time Skips in Belyyreka compared to Earth? Kind of speedrun mode, sans Quests, really (this one was a lot more oriented toward Finding/Building Your Family, which was signposted pretty clearly upon our arrival in Belyyreka). Mostly a quieter installment up until the, y'know, Typical Impending Tragedy of Return at the end. (Did I almost put it down at 1AM last night with 30 pages left so everyone could Be Happy? perHAPS,)

Overall: I had a good time! But, ow, my heart (once again and forever).
