To those of the Dark Crystal and Wings of Fire Fandom...

I think I came up with the most genius idea ever! I saw a few posts people made of two Skeksis as dragons from the Wings of Fire books, and I decided to take a jab at how I see all eighteen Skeksis as dragons, each with their own different species, names, and designs if I ever get to that part.

Here's what I've got so far:

So = IceWing = Emperor (named after the emperor penguin)

Zok = HiveWing = Pharaoh (a regal sounding name (after a species of ant) for the regal Ritual Master)

Sil = RainWing = Milk Snake (a red snake that fits Sil's snake-like personality)

Tek = NightWing = Clevermind (a clever name for the clever Scientist)

Var = NightWing = Battlescar (self-explanatory for the General)

Ok = SkyWing = Owl (a bird known for being a symbol of wisdom, which is perfect for the Scroll-Keeper)

Lach = MudWing = Terrapin (I would've named her after a more hideous swamp creature or plant, but her face kind of reminds me of a turtle, so I named her after one)

Ekt = SilkWing = Phantom (after the Blushing Phantom Butterfly known for their pretty pink coloration that matches Ekt's pink robes and hair)

Ayuk = MudWing = Boar (he's named after a wild pig. Need I say more?)

Mal = LeafWing = Manchineel (a poisonous and deadly tree that is known to kill those who go near it unknowingly. Perfect for the stealthy Hunter)

Shod = SandWing = Gryphon (a mythical creature known for hoarding treasure, something the Treasurer loves)

Na = SandWing = Sidewinder (a dangerous desert snake, which fits Na's fighting abilities)

Ung = MudWing = Beetle (a fitting name for the Garthim Master)

Gra = SandWing = Sandgrouse (desert birds that sometimes prefer to live in isolated area, which also symbolizes the Heretic's (former Conqueror) exile from the Castle of the Crystal)

Sa = SeaWing = Selkie (a mythical creature in which looks like a seal but becomes a woman when they come to land, but prefers the life in the water. Much like the Mariner)

Li = SilkWing = Jade (after the Jungle Jade Butterfly. Li was described as having some tints of green in either his robes or feathers, I forgot which, not to mention that a lot of SilkWings were often treated as jokes or mistreated in the Hives before Queen Wasp was dethroned)

Hak = SkyWing = Tiger's Eye (an orange gemstone named after a fierce big cat, which works for how fierce Hak was when he first split from his Urru counterpart)

Yi = NightWing = Grim (somewhat self-explanatory to her grim fate after she split from her Urru counterpart)

I probably have a song by Poets of the Fall that reminds me about each one of the Sons i care about. Sometimes I can't even explain why, but as soon as I hear the song I keep thinging about one of them.

I'll post all of them here to have it in one place. Just my associations nothing more.

Fandom 50 Post 19

I love making lists about my favourite things too much, and that thing is Poets of the Fall at the moment, so, I decided to make a weird challenge for myself. Of course, feel free to do it too, but I only thought this up to satisfy my list-obsessed mind. 🤣

So I thought: why not challenge myself to pick a favourite song from each album, but with some 'rules' to make it more challenging? And this silly post was born.

Putting the 'rules' and my answers under a cut because this got long. 😂

The idea is: pick your favourite song from each POTF album, BUT some songs are struck from the list. You can't pick songs that featured on Alchemy Vol.1, Live in Moscow, or Alexander Theater Sessions, or songs that have an official music video. The point is to start thinking about the more obscure songs on each album.
