Hi mark, loving the previews, but wanted to touch on your answer to Psychology at Strixhaven. “I think it would be in Lorehold, as it’s the school that examines things through the lens of the community. Silverquill would have classes like persuasive writing and communication that use elements of psychology.” Currently working in the field, and I wanted to say that it depends on the field of psych. Cognitivebehavioral is very Quandrix meets silverquill while creative arts therapy has prismari.
I think it’s centered in Lorehold, but different fields using it would tap into other schools.

This assignment requires the creation of a factional support group the name chosen for the support group is as follows : An ear that listens and a soul that understands “Support group for dementia caregivers and family members” .  Specific instructions will be attached below as it pertains to the structure of the group proposal and assignment , please ensure that all instructions are followed , the references attached are used   and the paper is submitted before / on the assigned deadline. Additionally, a complete plagiarism report is required when submitting the group proposal assignment. Should you have any questions during the process of writing this assignment please feel free to send me a message.                                                                                                 Please utilize the below paragraphs as the introduction for the paper An ear that listens and a soul that understands willbe a multifaceted support group which provides music therapy for clients diagnosedwith Dementia and a mutual psychoeducation support group which connects caregivers and family members to community resources in a safe judgement free andnurturing environment. Thus, the groups will also consist of a cognitivebehavioral therapist, music therapist and trained facilitators who will workcollectively to aid in maintaining a secure holding environment for caregiversto share subjective experiences which will ensure cohesion among group members.  The primary reasons why this group is fundamentalis because family members are often informal unpaid care givers who havelimited skills, resources and knowledge about the disease and its progression.Another essential reason support groups for care givers and family members ofdementia clients are important is because it not only normalizes and creates discussionssurrounding early detection signs and symptoms, but it also helps to sound thealarm for more funding, resources and research surrounding dementia care on thestate and federal level by raising awareness among community members. Additionally, caregivers are at a higher risk for developing mental health complexities suchas depression, mood disorders, substance abuse and health related ailments suchas hypertension and stress related bone fractures. Hence, the goals of thisgroup will be to promote engagement and socialization among group members whichwill reduce caregiver stress, provide psychoeducation that will connect caregivers and family members to community base resources and services. The group willalso enable members to share their own experiences while building new meaningfulsocial relationships that will provide support and collectively break down stigmasthat might be associated with the disease by educating each other. There isconsiderable amount of articles that highlights the importance of supportgroups for caregivers and clients with dementia since it not only helps tofoster meaningful relationships which reduces caregiver stress or fatigue, butit also provides dementia clients with cognitive engagement which can limit theprogression of the disease while reducing social isolation. Meaningful supportthrough community-based group helps to meet the needs of the person withdementia and their caregiver from the first symptoms to the later stages of Alzheimersdisease (Rio,2018). Moreover,I expect for the groups participation to be small with approximately eight memberswith care givers and clients equally divided during the groups initial stage, the group will last for 12 months, and it will meet twice monthly on Thursdayand Saturday for one hour from 5:00pm-6:00pm, which would allow working caregiversto participate and benefit from the group. Thus,an open group is beneficial because it does not require a wait list which couldlimit group diversity and participation, but it also limits feelings of anxietysince everyone is there for the same reasons. One disadvantage of having anopen group is group members might not be consistent
and attend every sessionand other participants might be hesitant to share their subjective experiences becausethey have not developed a rapport with a new member.         ORDER THIS PAPER NOW. 100% CUSTOM PAPER CategoriesAPA 7th edition, English Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
