Treating GI stasis is bad for my nerves. Cakepop dropped from three to two feedings of Critical Care yesterday, and her appetite has NOT improved, so she’s making less poop. Tomorrow I am stopping the lactulose and meloxicam and I am so worried that she’s not ready. I’m clinging to the fact that she eats greens consistently, so she WILL EAT.
Her medical team also let me know today that her stasis was so severe by the time she got to the hospital that her liver was involved, which is no doubt slowing down her recovery.
She doesn’t hate her tummy massages, and when they’re feeling really good she licks my arm while I’m doing it.
What does NOT help is that between the meds, feedings, tummy massages, and super close monitoring of every aspect of her life, I’m getting really attached to Cakepop. Not that I don’t care deeply about all of my fosters, but my last bunny was with me for five months and I was happy to see her move on to get spoiled rotten. If something happens to Miss Pop, I will be crushed.

We'll skip the first few nights. Those were just for accommodation.
Next i was tired when baby started being colicky. Baby would cry 4-5 hours every afternoon when bedtime was approaching. At first we could trick her. In the end, she would non stop.
This tired was the most tired... so far.
I would get tired because i would feel so helpless in helping her.
On top of colic, she would also get overtired, so another flavour of fun.

So I had c-section my back on the 22nd of August and now I'm a hot mess of stress and a touch of postpartum trying to and failing to manage a colic newborn that has my breasts leaky and sore and my two older children. I'm dying under all this and I feel very powerless in my situation.
I honestly never had such hardships with my first two sons when they were babies. David, my third child, is proven to be quite the difficult one.
I don't know how to manage this anymore. All the constant crying and unable to get anything done because all he wants is to be held is really having an effect on my mental health.
It's too much. I need help from my relatives to assist but no one wants to help. 😢
