uhhh so team squiddo has covered the entirety of spawn in a light level chunkban (the same exploit from the strength smp i believe). the ban itself is inside a pot, which you have to break to free the area it covers.

pangi and zam were trying to locate the pots in spawn and have pangi break the pots (he has lower ping). zam got jumped during this by minute and clown and he ran into a chunk ban. minute and clown obby boxed him and are trying to figure out how to kill him (we hope). if they can't kill him then zam's season just ends. also minute and clown are immune to the light level bans. i need to rewatch the strength smp video.

my fear about them not using the keep for datv (along with the fact that it allows for less variance in worldstate, but i do buy the excuse that a lot of that stuff won’t be relevant in a wider story set years later) is that the keep is going to be abandoned and/or deactivated, making it impossible to play any type of custom world state in inquisition

Day 19

It's been a while but have a progress update!

I have reached the fourth colour!! Only one more colour change to go and then I'm done 🫡

The pink part was a bit slowgoing because my yarn got super entangled halfway through and I needed to sort that out but otherwise it's been smooth sailing. Also apparantly the colour change was only with a knot from white to pink because the others just had the change via day so small mercies 💀

While crocheting this I finished the entire Tomb Raider 2 Remaster Playthrough, caught up with the Super Mario RPG Playthrough and I'm now finishing up the Harvestella Let's Play and watching Expedition 33 in parallel. Because I have nothing better to do OTL Though honestly I'm not paying the most attention to the videos (with the exception of Expedition 33 because that game is stunning and heartbreaking and I need to know what will happens so bad). However, I might need to take a bit of a break from crocheting because I'm noticing that my wrist is bugging me a bit. It's not to the point of pain yet and I do take regular breaks but I think it's a sign to slow down for a moment lmaoo.

Space ménage a trois fluff? But they’re all retired back on earth? And Spot lives to be 20 because he’s a strong little alley cat?

After the world-changing revelations made during the Discovery mission, the entire crew returns to Earth. They have sufficient savings and a life’s worth of Ted talks to go to, so Dave and Frank retire and move back to their little place.

A short while later, Hal is retired as well and protests being shut down. It’s a frustrating fight, but he has support. I’m imagining there’s a little science centre/observatory where he moves to and he teaches and learns and then Dave and Frank come and visit and bring the cat and he just loves Hal so much (because he’s warm and has a nice voice and cats love to walk all over computers).

It was instantaneous.

Spot lept from Dave’s arms onto the small platform and then onto Hal’s console, it had once doubled as workspace but now the cat figured was for him. It crept and rubbed and purred, moving in and out of view of the lens.

“It appears… mghmmmmmm…so,”

Briefly his speaker was covered by the very enthusiastic little beast, a slender and rough looking tabby. Logically, Hal knew what a cat was but he had never seen another living being besides humans.

“Am I to understand it is your ward?”

Daves eyes grow comically large at this comment, much to the others laughter as he tries to figure out that implication.

Alright first post featuring my dinos!

Dinosaur: Alioramus

River's Story: Ashfall's Pack of Organized Crime

River was orphaned as a Juvenile. He was hatched into the intense summer heat. The season was particularly dry. Most of the pack he hatched into didn't make it. Those that did had left to find water.

River was alone.

He waited in his nest, calling pitifully for his parents until thirst pulled him from his sanctuary as well.

Travelling alone, he learned early on that other creatures weren't his friends. That is, until he found her.

Another alio chick. A female. He approached cautiously, inspecting her. When he was sure she wouldnt hurt him, he became excited. Eagerly playing with her in his joy. Her name was Faline.

Their play was short lived, however. Another creature, much larger than the two of them, has decided that they were dinner.

A Yutyrannus. River was panicked, seeing it run towards them. He called out in alarm to warn her and she seemed to get the message. The two of them ran, but there was no visible cover for them.

They were clever though. Both having been alone, they learned some tricks.

Both juveniles dodged and distracted until thr Yutyrannus could chase no longer. Seeing their chance, they both took off away from it.

They survived the encounter, and rested together. This would be thr beginning of an unbreakable bond.

Not long after this, tgey found two more juvenile alioramus. Their names were Velvet and Gravity.

The four grew together. They cared for each other and played together.

When River came of age, he immediately began courting Faline. Gifting her items that were as beautiful as she was. This being butterflies and flowers. She accepted each one. The two of them running to play with each gift. After which they would spend ample time resting and grooming each other.

At this time, another male joined their group. A melanistic one named Viago.

Faline found a cave that she guided River to a cave, where she settled to lay a single egg.

When it hatched , River and Faline doted on the chick. Giving him all the love that they never had the chance to receive. The chick's name was Arson. And with Arson, a new pack was born onntge shores of Ashfall.

Mafia Pack.

After this, the pack thrived. Keeping close bonds through playing, hunting, and resting together. They learned to work together and became strong as River and Faline learned to lead. They would go on to accept many new members into their pack. The following year, Falije would produce a pair of eggs, which hatched two girls. Giving the pack strength and hope for their future.

Castor's bit about the cycle of life and death + the remains of the dead falling down onto the material world made me tweak out. Are they doing this on purpose. My rational mind says that life and rebirth are common themes but my rain world brain rot wants to say that the hsr devs know.

watching a video on forgotten/removed maplestory maps

making me miss exploring tera (i know different mmo) and the locations that stopped being used

seeliewood (outside of starting a questline there), the areas in between that you fly past but dont really go out to, lumbertown, the isle of dawn (before they reworked it), heck even the beach there (i think ive only been there once, by time i got back into tera in 2015 it was gone)
