Η γεωγραφική κατανομή των κρουσμάτων κορονοϊού το τελευταίο 24ωρο......... Συνεχίζεται η εξάπλωση του κορονοϊού στην Ελλάδα, με τον ΕΟΔΥ να ανακοινώνει 3.421 νέα κρούσματα σήμερα, Πέμπτη 06 Μαϊου. Από τα κρούσματα που βρέθηκαν σήμερα σε όλη την Ελλάδα τα 52 εντοπίσθηκαν στην Περιφέρεια Νοτίου Αιγαίου, εκ των οποίων τα 8 στις Κυκλάδες. Συγκεκριμένα, στην Νάξο ανιχνεύθηκαν τα 4, στην  Π.Ε. Κέας - Κύθνου 2 και στην Πάρο 2. Στα Δωδεκάνησα καταγράφηκαν 44. Ειδικότερα στην Ρόδο 1, στην Κω 8, στην Κάλυμνο 32 και στην Κάρπαθο 3. કોરોનાની સારવાર અંગેની સરકારની નવી માર્ગદર્શિકા

હવે કોરોનાના દર્દીઓને 5 દિવસનો રેમડેસિવીર આપવામાં આવશે. કિડની, લીવર અને સગર્ભા સ્ત્રીઓ માટે પ્રતિબંધિત છે. કોરોના સંકટ વચ્ચે આરોગ્ય મંત્રાલયની નવી માર્ગદર્શિકા. આરોગ્ય મંત્રાલયે કોરોના વાયરસથી ફસાયેલા દર્દીઓની સારવાર માટે નવી માર્ગદર્શિકા જારી કરી છે. આ અંતર્ગત, કોરોનાની સારવારમાં અસરકારક દવા, રેમડેસિવીર ની માત્રા ઘટાડવામાં આવી છે. હવે આ દવા દર્દીઓને 6 દિવસને બદલે 5 દિવસ આપવામાં આવશે. રેમડેસિવીર એ એન્ટિ-વાયરલ દવા છે અને કોરોના વાળા દર્દીઓને આપવામાં આવે છે. શુક્રવારે કેન્દ્રીય આરોગ્ય મંત્રાલયે આ સંદર્ભમાં નવી માર્ગદર્શિકા બહાર પાડી હતી. આરોગ્ય મંત્રાલયનો નવો પ્રોટોકોલ કહે છે કે આ દવા દર્દીઓને ઈન્જેક્શનના રૂપમાં આપવામાં આવશે.

પ્રથમ દિવસે, દર્દીને ઇન્જેક્શન્સના રૂપમાં રેમડેસિવીર નો 200 મિલિગ્રામ ડોઝ આપવામાં આવશે, ત્યારબાદ 100-100 મિલિગ્રામની માત્રા આગામી ચાર દિવસ દર્દીને આપવામાં આવશે. જે દર્દીઓ કિડની, લીવર ના રોગથી પીડાય છે, તેઓ માટે રેમડેસિવીર નથી 13 જૂને, આરોગ્ય મંત્રાલયે રેમડેસિવીર નો ઉપયોગ કરવાની મંજૂરી આપી હતી. ત્યારબાદ આરોગ્ય મંત્રાલયે મર્યાદિત ઉપયોગ હેઠળ કટોકટીની પરિસ્થિતિમાં રેમડેસિવીર ના ઉપયોગને મંજૂરી આપી હતી. જો કે, આ દવા કિડની, લીવર ના રોગો, સગર્ભા સ્ત્રીઓ, સ્તનપાન કરાવતી સ્ત્રીઓ અને 12 વર્ષથી ઓછી ઉંમરના બાળકો ને આપવામાં આવશે નહીં. હાઇડ્રોક્સિક્લોરોક્વિન વિશે પણ સલાહ આરોગ્ય મંત્રાલયે હાઇડ્રોક્સાઇક્લોરોક્વિન વિશે પણ સલાહ આપી છે. આરોગ્ય મંત્રાલયે કહ્યું છે કે આ દવાનો ઉપયોગ રોગના પ્રારંભિક તબક્કામાં થવો જોઈએ. મંત્રાલયે કહ્યું છે કે આ દવા ગંભીર રીતે બીમાર વ્યક્તિને ન આપવી જોઈએ. FDA: Remdesivir study shows ‘positive effect’ for COVID-19

Researchers published some positive news on a potential cure for coronavirus on Wednesday – proof that the experimental drug remdesivir could help patients heal from the infection more quickly. No medications for the treatment of coronavirus have been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration yet. But, as per the New York Times, it plans to declare an emergency-use authorization for remdesivir. The authorization might come as soon as Wednesday, The Times reported, citing a top official in the administration. In a report the FDA stated it is about making the drug available to patients in talks with Gilead Sciences, the manufacturer of remdesivir. FDA spokesman, Michael Felberbaum, stated in a statement, "As part of the FDA's commitment to expediting the development and availability of potential COVID-19 treatments, the agency has been engaged in ... discussions with Gilead Sciences regarding making remdesivir available to patients as quickly as possible, as appropriate." The report, sponsored by the government, noticed that patients who used remdesivir recovered faster than those who did not. It is not a home run, but in a pandemic that has ravaged more than 1 million Americans and killed almost 60,000 of them, federal officials are reluctant to give little hope. The findings were positive to the director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Anthony Fauci, at the White House during a meeting with President Donald Trump, said, "The data shows that remdesivir has a clear-cut, significant, positive effect in diminishing the time to recovery."

Reports from the preliminary trial show increased recovery time of 15 to 11 days for coronavirus patients with remdesivir. This is similar to the influenza medication Tamiflu's effect on flu. Also, Tamiflu does not heal patients instantly but may reduce the amount of time they get sick. Fauci said of remdesivir, "Although a 31% improvement doesn't seem like a knockout 100%, it is very important proof of concept; what it has proven is that a drug can block this virus." Remdesivir can also decrease the risk of patients dying. The NIAID said, "Results also suggested a survival benefit, with a mortality rate of 8.0% for the group receiving remdesivir versus 11.6% for the placebo group." Typically, data on the effectiveness of a drug would not be released from a preliminary trial early on. Yet "whenever you have clear-cut evidence that a drug works, you have an ethical obligation to immediately let the people in the placebo group know so that they can have access," Fauci stated. Remdesivir is one of the few drugs being tested against Covid-19 but the NIAID trial is the first to be conducted under rules aimed at obtaining approval from the FDA. Around 1,090 people took part in the experiment globally, Fauci stated, calling it "the first truly high-powered randomized placebo controlled trial."
