All these tight feelings of chains around Lucy cause me want to ask for help
I only feel better with a knowledge meant of time checks; just in general staying near a clock.

Invisible hands from Elfin Lied.
The abnormality of demon slayer, one punch man being absolute total refusal to see it to represent the mirror universe theory.
Memory differences from vampire knight multipurposing Diclonius.
Number 35 disappeared from the anime itself until later the memories throughout AICO being the blue hive mine effect and differences between experiences of multiple perspectives including those that were belittled, was able to recover lost memories from diclonius respect. Sometimes training throughout the glass children experiments being the Serial Experiments of Lain.
It related to the backrooms, and simulated realities.
Do you remember dance of the vampire Bon, black butler, or Tokyo ghoul more? Did you later though only watch soul eater, or were you more interested about Marvel universal divides, doctor who, and back to the future?
What year is it for you? Should I ask.

Okay. Okay okay okay SO.
Cube Zero was a fucking work of art.
After the absolute trashfire that was Cube 2 I kept thinking 'I don't wanna watch Cube Zero'. The Dread over how much worse it could get was so heavy in my mind but oh my GOD they did something so good with Cube Zero.
For starters, unlike the completely bleached aesthetic of Cube 2, this one returns to the dark yet lit in colors, somewhat industrial kind of feeling that Cube had, complete with jumpsuits, boots, and classic traps instead of some weird-ass physics come to life bullshit. There is once again a way to escape, in technicality, while this film also confirms the fears birthed from the first movie that escape does not mean survival. This film shows memory of it's farthest predecessor, keeping the spirit alive while giving a fresh and complete story of it's own without relying on the best points of the first movie as a crutch for potential success. Truly this should have been the sequel, with the great leaps in technology and lore presented in Cube 2 seeming even more excessive comparatively.
Additionally it gives some lore and answers some questions while also keeping, to some extent, an overall mystery to many things. Because the new aspect of people working behind the scenes of the cube consists primarily of two people who don't actually know what's going on, only have guesses or assumptions or information that could potentially be false, and others are completely secretive, there is no concrete overarching explanation for most questions presented either here or in the first movie. Add in that neither can remember the last time they've seen the outside and that they're only fed minimally, given little to do when they're not actively working, live at work and don't seem to be paid/imply that they have any potential plans outside of work, and that their workspace itself is a cube, and it makes it clear that despite working for the place controlling the cube, they're not at any sort of advantage over those actually inside the cube proper.
This one I care about spoiling accidentally, as an actually good and solid movie not only in execution but acting, effects, and it's adherence to the ideas and tone presented in the first movie. So while I would love to gush about the ending, especially, in detail, I will refrain and only say that it completely rocked my socks and solidified it as being the best possible sequel I could have asked for. It's all at once completely devastating for it's implications and elevates many details of the first movie as well as bringing to light new questions that will make at least my next watch of Cube all the more interesting.
