We have lots of bi's and lesbo's. Honestly, I did contemplate if Mac should be either lesbian or pan but I went with lesbian. Thought about duke being nonbinary. I like the idea.

Chandler likes to pick duke up, it’s just fun to her. She enjoys carrying duke like a little baby since duke is short.

Sometimes when Mac and veronica get home from being out together, they come home to seeing chandler and duke sleeping together.

This isn’t really headcanon(but at the same time I’m thinking about it being one)but, duke once got a little mini kids jeep and rode it around for a bit.

Duke:”wow, this is pretty fun. I like being short sometimes”

Chandler, who’s near veronica, turns to look at duke:”you can’t go on amusement park rides”

Duke:”nevermind” she backs up slowly and sadly, and drives off.

Heather duke(dukes 1st channel), dukemation(dukes 2nd channel). One of my headcanons in my first heathers headcanon post was that duke does animation. So she has her 1st channel to just post stuff and a 2nd channel for her animations.

Macaroni(I had a another youtube channel name for Heather mcnamara but it wasn’t a YouTube name I made up, it was a YouTube name I got from an actual YouTube, so, I can’t really use it). If she had a second channel, it would be called mcnamara.

R0nster(Veronica’s channel name, she used a zero as the O). She’d do reviews of things and those diaries from the 2000. If she had a second youtube channel, it’ll be called ronica(but she wouldn’t have a second youtube channel).

Welcome to a brand new year! I've decided to run a series of posts about the history of LEGO castle, as a tribute to both my own enjoyment of LEGO castle and my hopes for the future :) 20240101: the History of LEGO Castle day 001. WEETABIX1-1 / 00-1 Weetabix Castle (1970, 471 pieces, 51 different parts) Weetabix is a breakfast cereal produced by Weetabix Limited in the United Kingdom. The Weetabix Castle was the first LEGO promotional item with the Weetabix cereal brand and also the very first LEGO castle ever produced for purchase. Customers would purchase the cereal and then use a specified number of coupons to purchase the LEGO Weetabix promotional items. The set came in a plain cardboard box and builds into a large micro-scale castle using the classic LEGO colors of black, blue, gray, red, white, and yellow. The castle is built on three gray brick baseplates with red walls and a few walkways connected to the base with black supports and white steps. The castle contains six towers: one white with red windows and a blue roof, one taller white with red windows and battlements on top, one small white with red windows and battlements on top, one large yellow with white windows and a second smaller tower on top, both having battlements, and two identical white gatehouse towers with red windows and battlements, connected with a blue roof over the gate. The yellow tower has a white flag with the printed LEGO-logo on top. A yellow drawbridge connects to a stack of gray plates outside the castle. The windows are now obsolete and the rarest part in the set is the LEGO-logo flag which appeared in 7 sets between 1957-1971. Most LEGO castle enthusiasts will point to the 375-2/6075-2 "Yellow" Castle as the first LEGO castle, and it is the very first LEGO mini-figure castle. In the research I've done on BrickLink, Toysperiod, and Rebrickable, as well as some other websites, the first instance I've been able to find for a purchasable LEGO castle is the Weetabix Castle from 1970 with 471 pieces. It's taken me a couple of years to put together era-authentic bricks and find the correct pieces but it was absolutely worth it. This castle was such a unique design and a wonderful learning experience. LEGO's colors at this time weren't nearly as extensive as what we currently have available, but it's still such a beautiful build, even though it only uses black, blue, light gray, red, white, and yellow bricks. The castle includes a large courtyard and a variety of different towers, with each tower a fairly unique design, plus the drawbridge. The windows are not the easiest pieces to locate "in the wild" but I've been fortunate with how many second-hand LEGO stores are available for my parts hunting enjoyment in my local area. And the 1x1 solid stud circle bricks were also difficult to locate but fortune favors the truly determined :) This castle is also a very small, portable, and stable build. I can pick it up and move it around easily and I'm excited to use the basic design in some of my own builds going into the future. my wife and I started a dnd campaign with our niblings where she helped them create their characters and I helped them design their characters to make them custom minis out of the craft supplies they had at their house (here we have crayola pencil on printer paper gluedsticked to index cards glued to leftover cereal box, affixed to quarters covered with holographic tape with hot glue, and sealed around the edges with coordinating glitter paint).

After they were all sorted, my wife told them I was going to play a barbarian to balance the team and to facilitate peaceful cooperation between the kids. Initially, I only drew my eladrin barbarian, MirieIle, in her spring variant so that everybody would have one figure, right? right.

But I like playing eladrins because that means I get to think about four different character designs in one, and I told the kids when we were describing the characters. so when we FINALLY sat down to play about halfway through our visit, the 11-year-old was like. "Aunt Emily Where Are The Others???"

So taking that into consideration, it’s safe to assume that the younger you are, the more your brain can intake. Given that information, wouldn’t children be the most marketable demographic?

I spent like a year absolutely obsessed with this.

I spent a good 6 months absolutely obsessed with Cap'n Crunche's Crunchling Adventure. It was one of those cheap mass produced games that came in the cereal box. It was part Raising Sim, part racing game, and part platformer. You're in charge of raising a creature called a Crunchling which had a small amount of customization in that you can choose its skin and hair color, you said it different kinds of Cap'n crunch cereal, and played three different mini games to train up your Crunchling until you're ready to take on the boss which was like some kind of alien thing. It was weird and wonderful and I'd completely forgotten about it until I saw this post.

“Good afternoon how are you?” Eddie feels his chest tighten when he hears your voice from behind the cash register having forgotten that you had gotten a job at the mini mart a few weeks ago. He turns around to try to move to the other register but it’s too late his items are already moving towards you to start scanning. He watches you wave at the nice older woman who you just checked out and he knew he only had a few moments before you saw him.

“You really should add some vegetables to your diet.” You don’t bother looking at him as you speak, you can feel his eyes on you as you begin scanning his boxes of macaroni and cheese. “Like really Eddie you eat like a toddler.” Eddie just rubs the back of his neck with one of his hands as you chuckle while you bag his items for him. The two of you had been broken up for a few months and you were hoping the two of you could at least be civil and nice to each other but when you look up at him and see his eyes are wide and his cheeks are tinted pink you realize that maybe you two weren’t quite ready for that yet.

“I’m sorry.” His voice is low and you instantly know he’s not apologizing for his choice in food items. “I’m so sorry.” You look down at the box of cereal and just shrug at his words, he wasn’t telling you anything you hadn’t heard before.

“I know.” You mumble as you scan the box and place it in a bag with his other items. “Do you have any coupons?” You ask as you look up at him with a smile that he knows is forced. He just shakes his head as he reaches into his back pocket for his wallet. “Then that’ll be $10.50.” He hands you some cash and you quickly give him his change, ignoring the warm feeling of his fingers brushing your hand as he takes it from you. “Have a great day.” Eddie just gives you a tight lipped smile as he grabs his bags from you. When he turns to walk away you let out a deep sigh as you lean over and turn off your light letting the customers know your lane was closed.

“You’re it for me,” You fumble a bit at the sound of Eddie’s voice as you turn and see him standing right in front of your register with his bags at his feet. “You’ve always been it for me.” You feel your heart start to beat faster as he takes a small step closer so he can place his hands on the top of your register.

“You have a very odd way of showing it.” You watch Eddie’s eyes darken as he looks down at his hands. “You kissed her.” You didn’t want to bring it up, you’d moved past it but you also didn’t want him to forget why the two of you weren’t together in the first place.

“I fucked up sweetheart.” You roll your eyes at his use of one of his pet names for you. “I know I did. But that doesn’t change the fact we are meant to be together.” He admits as he ducks his head down so he can look you in the eyes as you cross your arms over your chest.

“It changes everything Eddie.” You explain as you reach over and place one of your hands over his that’s still clutching the top of your register. “Your milk is getting warm.” You give his hand a little pat making him just let out a sad sigh while he stands up straight and looks down at the bags by his feet.

“I love you.” Eddie confesses as you look down at your hands so he doesn’t see your eyes get glossy as you begin to feel a lump form in your throat.

“Have a good day Eddie.” You mumble as you turn and walk away from him and towards the employee break room, leaving Eddie standing there with his groceries at his feet and his heart slowly breaking in his chest.💖

Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节) is just around the corner and like the previous year and the year before it, my family have been going for the Snow-Skin Mooncakes (冰皮月饼) at Raffles Hotel (莱佛士酒店). This year we picked a bold new fruit & floral flavour combination and one returning old favourite. Each box contains 8 pieces of mini mooncakes and cost S$78 but for early bird customers ordering via online with HSBC credit card, you get 30% off.

The aromatic yuzu takes center stage in this pastel yellow Yuzu and Osmanthus Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake (柚子桂花冰皮月饼). The osmanthus tea leaves infused lotus seed paste and/or the glutinous rice skin gave it a natural sweet floral fragrant. But once you cracked into the white chocolate pearl in the centre, the zesty and distinct citrusy flavour of yuzu cream flooded the whole mouth and overpowered the subtle flavour of the osmanthus.

Making a return this year is the Earl Grey Tea and Pearl Snow-Skin Mooncake (伯爵茶珍珠冰皮月饼) that is filled with Earl Grey tea-infused milk chocolate ganache and dainty puff cereal pearls coated with dreamy dark chocolate.
