summary : chris meets you when you’re pregnant and falls in love with you and your daughter after you have her.

You met Christopher almost a year ago, near the end of your second trimester. You guys instantly clicked and became really good friends. You always had fun little friend dates and sleepovers, and he helped you so much during your pregnancy. You were nervous about being a single parent, but his support alone was enough for you. He was so motivating and encouraging, you couldn't help but cherish him.

He was so sweet to you, helping you with any and everything you needed. Whether it be shopping for you or your daughter, putting her room together, cleaning your house, massaging your feet after working all day. He did everything for you, and it didn't change after you gave birth.

He absolutely adored your daughter. Anytime you were all together, he was doing everything with her. From making her bottles and feeding her, to blowing into her belly to make her laugh, he always had the brightest smile on his face. Watching him with her, you couldn't help but fall for him. He was so good to both of you, but especially her, and it warmed your heart.

You had both admitted to falling for each other a few weeks ago, and now you were just taking things slow. Neither of you wanted to rush things, seeing as what you had was extremely important and valuable to both of you. You were enjoying your time with your new little family, happily content with your life.

You were now standing outside your daughter's room, silently peeking inside. What you saw brought a warm smile to your face. Chris stood there with her in his arms, rocking back and forth as she rested her head on his shoulder. She occasionally kept lifting her head up and smiling at him, soft giggles pouring out of her, causing Chris to laugh in return.

You could've cried when you heard him softly singing Barney's 'I love you, you love me' song to her. He placed a couple of kisses on her head, swaying as she slowly started to drift off to sleep. Once she was completely out, he placed her in her crib and pet her face as he stared at her for a moment, a sweet smile playing on his lips.

Once he turned to leave the room, he noticed you standing there with tears in your eyes. He immediately frowned and quickly walked over to you. He ushered you out of the room and looked back at your daughter as he softly shut the door, careful not to wake her.

"What's wrong?" He asks, pulling you into him.

"Nothing, nothing at all." You tell him, shaking your head. "Everything's just right."

You wrapped your arms around him, squeezing hard as you buried your face into his chest, inhaling his addictive scent. He squeezed you back just as hard, placing his cheek on your head as he rubbed your back.

You slightly pulled away and softly grabbed his chin, bringing his lips to yours. It was a soft but passionate kiss, one that you put all of your emotions into.

"I love you, and I'm so in love with you." You tell him, kissing him once more.

He grinned, placing another kiss to your lips, "I'm in love with you too, baby."
