What happens if I roast the main 6 Lin kuei boys before the cyber initiative
Ohhhh the fun I had with this one...
Tumblr media
Kuai Liang - His face speaks for itself, truly. Annoyed with your shit. - "Kuai... How you going to have half your titties on display while covering your nips? It's okay Miyagi son, take your time with the answer." - " Wax on, wax off? More like take those shoes off my guy. You look like you are wearing some curb steppers from the yee olden times." - When you feel you've crossed the line you tell him you are just messing with him... before telling him his attitude is colder then any attack his ass can manage. (Not going to lie, it was hard to try to seriously drag this sweet angel. The rest of them... not so much. Lol)
Tumblr media
Bi Han - He can't decide if he is amused, or if he wants to freeze your mouth shut. - "God damn pasty, have you ever heard of the sun... are you allergic, because looking at you hurts my eyes." - "How you going to buy your tight ass clothes from the children's section of Ninjas-R-Us and your accessories from hot topic? Make it make sense." - "Are your eyes okay? Oh, good, because looking at your outfit is killing mine." - You can't tell me he didn't buy his tight ass clothes from the children's section... - He thinks it best to freeze your whole mouth shut at this point.
Tumblr media
Smoke - Poor boy never stood a chance. -" Oh hey Crow, didn't know you were back for some vengence." - I'm so EdGy... the only thing darker the my mood is my soul." - "2010 called, they want their fucking hair style back." -I could go on with the poor emo roasts you would do to him. -The worse is all the music.. He is just pure confusion. - He really doesn't know how to take it. He even asks Kuai if this is normal behavior.
Tumblr media
Sektor - Be prepared for him to be the pissiest of all. -Boy can't take the roast.. He would go to his room to cry, truly. '"If the arch on your brows got any sharper, I could do division questions on them." "When did the pencil thin douche staches come back? Oh wait... You've never left that phase? Makes sense." -" Must be so hard for you... being a biggity bitch." "It's cute how bad you want to be a pyromancer, last time I checked Tunda and Sub zero didn't have to have the help of a toy.." - I can see when it hits the point of being enough he will slam his fist on the table or whatever surface. (Never to hurt you or intimidate you, but to let you know you've done your job.) - You definitely like to humor him, keep his ego in check. - It pisses him off, but he likes that you have the balls to go toe to toe with him and not back down regardless of what looks are thrown your way.
Tumblr media
Cyrax - Prepare for the worst side eyes of you life. -"Jesus did you save any yellow for the rest of the Lin Kuei?" -" Stop? Nah, you're outfit screams to procced with caution." - "Glad to see you matched your beads with the rest of your outfit. It's cute, does your underwear match too?" - He wants to gag your mouth, truly. - The worst is when Bi- Han and Sektor start in on his color of choice. - He's contemplated new color options.
Hydro.. (Sorry I tried finding a photo) -" Hey, it's the knock off Sub zero brother." - "Does it kill you that the only way you can get any girl wet is if you use your powers?" - He usually squirts you with water before exiting the room. - He truly doesn't have time for your mess at all. - He is a steeled Lin Kuei warrior, the only water that will leave his body won't be from his eyes. Yeah.. Hydros might have been the second worst on the roast, his honestly is a little harder! BUT I hope you enjoy it! (:

How about Sektor, Smoke and Cyrax having an s/o who hits their head super hard and loses their memories of them after accompanying them on a mission?
MK Lads x Amensia!Reader
Tumblr media
Sektor
He sees this as the ultimate failing of your fragile human body. Now it is time for him to cyberise you, to make you stronger, to draw you closer to him. Even if you don't end up remembering him, you'll both end up being stronger together.
Tumblr media
Cyrax
When he realises that you don't remember him, he doesn't lose hope, if he could regain his soul and humanity after being cyberised along with his memories then he hopes you can do the same.
Tumblr media
Tomas Vrbada (Smoke)
He's completely devastated by the news that you no longer remember him, but he's convinced that if you fell in love with him once then you will fall in love with him again.

mortal kombat MK 3 roster SFW general HC
Cyrax
Tumblr media
Cyrax is a sweetheart and pretty moderate with showing affection, Although he won't go father than a hug and a kiss. He tries to keep you at a distance with the lin kuei and his more personal business, but regardless of what happens he's still going to love you. And when he inevitably becomes a cyborg, loving you will never be reprogrammed out.
Cyrax prefers quality time than gifts, time being a precious thing, he would rather spend it with someone he cares about deeply. He enjoys conversation even if neither of you have to say much, the little things matter to cyrax and especially after becoming a cyborg
Cyrax would sacrifice a lot of things but for you especially, netherrealm would freeze over before he'd allow you to get hurt, much less suffer a fate similar to his.
Sektor
Tumblr media
Sektor is a bit stiff with showing affection but the smallest gestures with him mean a lot. He's always been loyal to the lin kuei, not even you could change that. However he's softer on you than others, it may not seem like much, but it matters.
Like cyrax, quality time is his preferred way of showing affection, maybe even the only way. But to him time is even more precious, and spending it with you is his greatest gift.
Sektor may be conflicted when you get hurt, preferring that you could handle yourself. Perhaps even try to get you to eventually become a cyborg like himself so you both can work together and be of superior physical capability. But even if you refuse, sektor might actually fight his reprogramming for the first time if he's ever sent to harm you.
Kabal
Tumblr media
Oh he will not shut up about you, kabal will brag about you and not afraid to get a little handsy in public. You do the same to him however is a different story and he'll get all flustered.
Kabal will give you any kind of expensive thing, mostly out of "societal expectation" of whats the best way to win your heart. But really he likes to just do things for you, hold your hand, even talk with you. Really kabal is kinda insecure of a dude (i mean his face literally got messed up bad) so he might try to overcompensate but once you reassure him, he's very sweet.
Kabal is dead serious if anyone threatens or harms his darling. They'll be dead before they even realize it, before you probably even register you were ever in danger in the first place.
Stryker
Tumblr media
(Ok im gonna admit, he's my least fave mk character EVER but I'll try to write him good)
Stryker is a bit of a serious kinda guy so when it comes to relationships, he's gonna be a bit stiff with PDA but not so stiff you can't do something simple like hand holding and kissing. Private is a different story he's more lax but kinda traditional in the sense that, he's more likely to take the lead in certain romantic situations like opening the door for you or carrying you bridal style. Although he's not gonna complain too much if you insist on doing all that too.
The most you're gonna get in ways of gifts is flowers, maybe a cute bracelet he saw that he knew you'd like. Its not that he doesn't want to, he just thinks spending time with someone and doing things with them is more important than material. To Stryker, material things is just the icing on a cake, too much and its just a tub of frosting.
Stryker is absolutely not gonna let you get hurt on his watch. If you're not the fighting type or not fit to, he wants you out of harmful situations asap no questions asked. But if you can hold your own, he's still going to be a bit more protective than necessary bc he can't afford to lose you, Stryker doesn't believe he could ever emotionally recover from that.
Nightwolf
Tumblr media
Oh he's such a gentleman with you, he's simple with public affection but in private he's very romantic and heartfelt. He takes the relationship seriously.
Any gift he gives you is gonna be handmade, from jewelry to food, its all made with love. But he shows his love in many ways equally mostly with relaxing in silence at night, star gazing with you is his favorite moment.
Hell hath no fury than nightwolf seeing you get hurt. The greater the injury, the greater the pain inflicted on whoever is unfortunate enough to get an axe to the head, And a spirit animal biting their guts out
Sindel
Tumblr media
Sindel shows affection in that regal sort of way, nothing too intimate but probably more intimate than kitana would be comfortable with. Needless to say, sindel is gonna treat you good. Even when corrupted by dark magic she still is generous to you, of course by the twist of said magic she expects you to not mind being the "submissive" one in the relationship from time to time. She's a queen and expects to be treated as such either way.
Lavish, rare and expensive gifts are to be expected. Both received and delivered, but if you're with sindel your status should make it relatively easy for you to find something sindel would like. Sindel is a words of affirmation kind of woman, she loves to give praise and hear it back. Sindel loves to remind you how much she loves you, but she won't shy away from getting physical if her words alone aren't enough. Just a fair warning, sindel likes to "squeeze" a lot
It should be obvious that it's a bad idea to mess with sindel, let alone hurt her lover. Sindel isn't afraid to personally get her hands dirty to "make an example" out of someone. Fortunately you've learned to pack a few spare earplugs in such a case even if the poor victim is far away from you. Sindel's scream can carry sound even from far distances
Sheeva
Tumblr media
Sheeva is sort of like goro when showing affection, but not as "show offey". Like she just appreciates your presence more than anything, but doesn't shy away from declaring her love.
Her gifts come in the form of armor, something to protect you, but also act as a show of love and devotion. Strong armor that won't break so easily. Sheeva also likes to "play wrestle" with you from time to time, take that as you will.
Sheeva would rather take someone who can defend themselves physically, however appreciates other forms of strength as well. But regardless, if you're hurt badly, sheeva is gonna skin alive whoever hurt you and wear them as a mini coat
Smoke/tomas vrbada
Tumblr media
Tomas is a sweetheart and knows the danger of showing affection and others potentially using this knowledge for malicious purposes. Despite that he tries to get away with lowkey hand holding and kissing you in the shadows as much as possible.
Tomas is a kind of homemade gifts kind of guy. Whether that be origami or he makes you a homecooked meal, its from the heart. But he's very smooth yet humble about it. The only lavish gift he'll give is a beautiful wedding ring later down the relationship.
Despite the terrible fate he ends up having, no amount of reprogramming will remove his love for you. Fighting within an inch of his soul to keep you from harms way, even from himself. You'll always be able to snap him out of whatever evil thing the lin kuei did to reprogram his mind, body, and to a degree his soul.
Motaro
Tumblr media
(So sorry motaro enjoyers this was the best gif i could find)
Everyone doesn't know whether or not to be shocked that someone was crazy enough to be in a relationship with motaro, or that motaro even has a relationship in the first place. But regardless, the Centaurian carries you around like royalty.
Don't expect much in the way of gifts, but motaro's love language is fighting or hunting alongside you. He might even show off a bit and prance around with pride if you're impressed.
Even if you suck at fighting, motaro may be highly annoyed trying to protect you all the time. But he will always make sure no one would even lay a finger on your head, at least while still intact and not crushed to death.

🍵 — part of my design.
pairing: bi-han / sub zero x gn! reader
summary: not everyone understands him and he's aware of that, but he's silently thankful for those who try at least. ♡
tags: more of a short study of him, no dialogue, platonic or more if you want!
The Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei was truly a formidable and intimidating force, harnessing his birth right to lead along with his cryomancy. He aimed for grand heights, wanting to be more than mere defenders of the realm. His clan's best interest was always on the forefront of his mind, believing they deserved a higher standing than being shackled and seen as pawns. They were warriors trained for battle, yet that glory he sought out had hindered communication and connections.
Many great consequences had passed; his brothers were no longer by his side, and the Lin Kuei were deemed to have abandoned their intended purpose. He knew this, of course, but he was not one to give up. Any time he would cross paths with his family, he would ask them to join him, though his choice of words may not be what they wish to hear.
One day, the Lin Kuei would get the recognition and status they should have been given. There were some positive outcomes throughout this whole ordeal, however. Cyrax and Sektor were still around, aiding in his efforts and dealing with special projects.
Then, there was you.
Contrary to popular belief, the man had not wronged you in any way. There were times he criticized your forms during training, but was that not his job? His warriors had to be in top shape in order for success! If one couldn't handle being called incompetent from time to time, they would definitely not survive out on the merciless fields.
You were praised for your loyalty and diligence, and in return, you received his respect. Not that he never did before, after all, he was an educated and formal man. He held himself well and even with his rare outbursts due to frustration, he had never cursed loudly. Instead, it was always a rather chilling tone, authority seeping through and making even the best warriors tense up.
Today was a good day by all means.
Training had gone well, meals were warm and fulfilling, and pristine uniforms had been cleaned, pressed and distributed as usual.
You were able to catch a glimpse of the Grandmaster when the sun was about to succumb to the moon. He was in his usual attire, fitting to his form and proper by all standards. The only trait that seemed out of place were the strands that escaped his bun, resting across his forehead naturally. It made you wonder if that was a choice too; does he purposefully style his hair like that every morning or was it due to the activities he busied himself with?
Regardless, it was a nice touch compared to the rest of his composure.
He had been pouring a cup of tea, Pu'er to be exact as it was one of his favorites, when you noticed he had been staring right back at you. His eyes shifted to the low table before him where his cup and an additional one were seated.
An invitation.
The gesture was subtle, but you would be a fool not to accept it. You made your way over to him, carefully folding your legs against the mat. He offered you the spare cup, only partially filled with the brew.
That simple notion was another aspect to consider as a tea cup filled to the brim held a particular meaning. The fact that it was not the case meant he most likely wanted you to stay longer and enjoy the tea with him.
No words were exchanged as the two of you allowed the warmth to take over, and one thing was for certain.
Despite what others may say, your Grandmaster was an honorable man.

Hello ! Hope you're doing well! I really loved your headcanons of Bi-han's S/O relationship with his brothers it was so cute ❤ I'm curious what you think the relationship becomes if you take in account the story mode events ( Bihan's "betrayal ") because I'm sure s/o would stik by her husband and support him so how those three interact afterward? Thanks ~
Hi! I am doing okay, I hope you are doing well too! Y’all are so nice here woo hoo
I will answer this in headcanons. Bi-Han x Fem. Reader by the way! Also kind of a little sad :(
Finding out what Bi-Han had done was like a knife to the heart.
She was so close to his brothers that they were her own, as they too viewed her as a sister.
She was definitely distraught knowing that her family was ripping itself apart.
But, she could not just leave Bi-Han. She had married him, but she also married the Lin Kuei when she said her vows.
Leaving him would only result in more anguish.
She would have to support Bi-Han’s decision either way, even if she had her doubts or believed that he was actually losing his sanity.
Bi-Han never fully discussed all the details, but he would tell her the big important ones such as the development of the Cyber Initiative and how they were close to overpowering the Shirai Ryu.
It pained her greatly, but she would smile and congratulate Bi-Han on his success. That was all she could do unfortunately as arguing with Bi-Han about his betrayal was like speaking to a brick wall.
Bi-Han believes that his brothers have betrayed him rather than the other way around. He is delusional lol.
He is blinded by his own anger and thirst for power.
It is argued whether he truly wants to kill his brothers or just wants them to stand down and let the Lin Kuei thrive.
Sometimes, she is never so sure if he really wants to kill his brothers in cold blood. In his eyes, she can see the glimmer of murderous intent, but then it will form into something else.
Like he had lost something important to him.
It was definitely arguable. She had hoped that Bi-Han would never be that cruel.
She could not bear to see any harm come to Kuai Liang and Tomas.
If she somehow ever came across them, whether it was at an event or some different way, she would feel like crying.
She would hug her boys close.
They would hug her back, joyful to be reunited with her.
They know she is not to be enemies with as their fight is with Bi-Han, not his wife.
Even though Bi-Han has stated that family is not off limits in their war, Kuai Liang cannot bring himself to harm her, nor can Tomas.
They know how much she means to Bi-Han, and he would go to the depths of the Netherrealm to protect her.
When those three reunite, it is usually quick as they cannot stay long. If Sektor or Cyrax were to catch a glimpse of them, they would be in trouble.
The brothers understand that she has to support Bi-Han no matter what, yet sometimes they feel that she is not trying enough to reason with him.
But again, they understand that reasoning with Bi-Han is something that cannot be achievable.
Once he is passionate and confident in something, he will continue to pursue it.
Just like he is passionate about overthrowing the Shirai Ryu and teaching his brothers a lesson.
Bi-Han hardly lets her leave the premises. He does not trust soldiers to go with her, and he does not have his brothers.
So only Sektor or Cyrax are really supposed to go with her, sometimes both of them will go with.
They are nothing like Kuai and Tomas though, which saddens her.
They have different personalities, and they put on the soldier face to prevent others from attempting to mess with them.
It is mainly for intimidation. That was something Kuai and Tomas hardly ever did unless it was truly needed.
Trips with Sektor and Cyrax are quick and usually not that fun. They are disconnected from her as they do not want attachments to the Grandmaster’s wife.
Supporting Bi-Han may be difficult in this because her loyalty also stands with his brothers, but since Bi-Han exiled them from ever being mentioned, her loyalties were forced to change.
She had to fully be loyal to Bi-Han and support his decisions. Just as Sektor and Cyrax supported them.
They were almost like the “replacements” for Kuai Liang and Tomas. That’s what Bi-Han tried to show her by sending them with her when she needed a break from the Arctika.
Replacements that were never going to fulfill the places of the brothers.
She dearly misses them. She does not have much contact with them and she thinks about them often.
She thinks about her old life often, truthfully.
If Bi-Han had a change of heart, they could be reunited and happy like they once were.
Kuai Liang and Tomas give her the offer of staying with the Shirai Ryu, even though they both know Bi-Han would rip the realms apart for her.
If she is too scared of Bi-Han or he is doing worse things, they want to make sure that the door is open for her.
She can be part of their clan and live a happier life. One that is not full of darkness and evil.
But they do not pressure her or try convincing her because deep down, they know that her place is with the Lin Kuei.
She is shackled by them, she will never be able to leave unless in death.

.
.
Many years ago...
On a cold autumn night, when the last yellow leaves on the trees were falling to the ground and the scent of snow wafted through the air, you came face to face with death for the first time.
You were a little girl, just about to turn six. Though your imagination was vast, your feet were always firmly planted on the ground. As the only daughter of the clan’s grandmaster, you knew a different life awaited you compared to other children, and you had a responsibility to fulfill those expectations. It was your duty.
At the same time, you also understood that your father had never loved you like your other siblings. Yet, you didn’t realize there was a deeper hatred underneath, one that could turn your life upside down from that night on.
Could a father harbor such a significant grudge against his own child? It appeared that your father was nurturing something sinister.
Just before the assassin came to your room, although you didn't hear footsteps, your ability to control shadows made you aware of a visitor outside the door. It immediately put you on high alert, pulling you out of the sweet embrace of sleep.
You knew that no one would approach your room secretly and quietly like this at this time of night. One of your small hands gripped the hunting knife you always kept under the pillow.
Even though your younger brother had started basic martial training with the others, your father excluded you, insisting you didn't need it. Instead, you were taught etiquette, manual skills, and other noble womanly pursuits.
So, you didn’t know how to defend yourself, but you observed others training from afar. There was also a knife your mother had given you, tightly held between your fingers. She had always warned you never to let the knife stray far, and for the first time, you felt fortunate that you kept that promise.
A year ago, you were given a single room as you were deemed old enough and had to leave your parents. For the first time, your room seemed intimidating and vast to your eyes.
Finally, a decrepit human figure emerged from the shadows, and you held your breath. Your vision blurred with tears from panic, and your heart pounded with adrenaline, causing your lower jaw to tremble under the influence of the fear you felt. You had never experienced such fear in your short life – a pure fear that made your whole body tremble and made you want to sob.
Everything erupted in an instant. Things happened so fast that you didn't even get a chance to understand.
When the assassin deftly cut your exposed throat with a swift movement, your entire world came to a halt. Blood splattered around your chin like a red dye. The pain was so intense that you choked on the blood rushing to your mouth, and tears, previously restrained, quickly overflowed from your eyes.
The air became thick with the metallic scent of blood, and the room seemed to spin in a disorienting dance of shadows and crimson. Your fingers, trembling, clutched at the bedsheets, stained with the evidence of your struggle. The moonlight cast eerie reflections on the walls, mirroring the fading flicker of your consciousness.
Coughing and attempting to breathe, you struggled as your vision blurred. The pain was sharp, and your vision quickly darkened, fading into nothingness. It felt like someone was dimming the light of a lamp, and you believed the end had come. To die in your own bed, at the hands of an assassin—it was too cruel an end.
Amidst your closing eyes, you vaguely heard your mother's screams. Everything disappeared into a black, deep void, and the pain vanished, merging into the darkness as if it had never existed.
When you opened your eyes again, you found yourself staring at the familiar ceiling of your room. Standing still for a few minutes, you couldn't comprehend what was happening. Was the entire ordeal a horrific nightmare? When you attempted to straighten up in confusion, moving your neck even slightly brought such a sharp pain that tears instantly filled your eyes.
Frozen in fear of the pain returning, the sliding door of the room opened, and your mother and the clan doctor entered, expressing concern from every angle.
"(y/n)! Thank God you're awake!"
As your mother rushed inside and opened her arms, carefully embracing you, tears began to flow. Silent sobs shook your small frame as she stroked your hair and tried to comfort you with her sweet words. Hugging your mother more tightly, you sought refuge, as if trying to hide from the entire world in her embrace.
Since birth, the only place you felt safe was in your mother's arms. Only there could you express yourself authentically, unreservedly showing your feelings. Your mother was the only person in the entire clan who accepted you completely.
"Don't cry, my beautiful girl, it's all over now. Your father took care of the assassin, nothing like this will happen again. Don't worry at all."
After your mother placed a loving kiss on the top of your head, she stepped back and wiped the tears from your eyes. When you tried to speak, she silenced you by placing a gentle finger on your lips.
‘’No, you are forbidden to speak until your throat heals,” your mother declared.
Following her words, the doctor carefully explained what you should and shouldn’t do, framing it in a way that you could understand. Listening with fearful eyes, every swallow was a painful reminder of the wound in your throat. Could you speak again after such an injury? The possibility felt shrouded in uncertainty.
According to the doctor, you would start to regain the ability to speak in five or six months, but the pain persisted, as sharp as if the knife that cut your throat had never left. It was enough to extinguish hope, as fragile as a candle flame.
And that was exactly what happened.
As the days transformed slowly into weeks and the weeks into months, you learned to live with the pain—or perhaps "adapt" would be a more accurate term. Coming from a warrior clan where your father held the position of the grandmaster, you never wanted to overshadow his glory with your weakness.
Despite your young age and stature, you always tried your best. When the dosage of painkillers decreased over time and the pain intensified, that's when you began using your power for the first time.
The shadows became your allies—a refuge for the weakness, pain, tears, and the loneliness of not being around anyone except your mother. You learned to conceal all these emotions in the shadows.
For a long time, you were afraid to sleep alone in your room. However, explaining the situation to your father seemed more frightening, so you began hiding in the shadows created by moonlight in your room. You learned to console yourself from nightmares in which you woke up sobbing.
Feeling safe in the dark world felt strange at first. You had never liked the dark—your brothers would sometimes use shadows to scare you or tell scary stories, intensifying your fear. But this time, darkness began to feel like a friend rather than an arch-enemy.
When it all became too overwhelming, the darkness became your new cocoon where you felt safe. This bond with your power was established as the only way you could sleep at night. You didn't know exactly how to use it yet, or what it was capable of, but you became skilled at hiding yourself.
This newfound ability allowed you to rebuild the confidence you had lost over time. You still harbored fear of your father, your brothers, and anyone else bigger and taller than you, as well as sudden noises and movements. However, it brought comfort to know you had a place to hide from everyone.
A year later, a scar adorned your throat, a reminder of that fateful moment, but speaking remained an act you were afraid to perform. On the other hand, as promised by your mother, there was no further attempt on your life, and your father decided that you should train with your brothers.
Then, one morning, when you woke up late due to your nightmares, you discovered the truth. . Transporting through the shadows to move silently, you stumbled upon your instructors whispering quietly among themselves as they headed to the training ground.
It was none other than your own father who had attempted to kill you.
Today...
Thanks to Bi-Han's guidance, you easily found the kitchen.
You had been hungry for so long that nausea had set in, prompting you to seek out the kitchen to put an end to it. On this pretext, you also wanted to take the opportunity to explore comfortably while no one had started the day yet.
During your first night in your room, stress had gripped your body, preventing sleep. At some point, even though you couldn't decipher how it happened, your eyes closed. However, in that brief moment of sleep, you found no relief. Stress, anxiety, and all the negative factors from your mission led you straight to a memory you could never erase but tried to bury deep down.
You hadn't revisited the memories of your assassination for a long time, and you even thought you were getting past it. With no apparent reason to fear for your life – being successful in martial arts and trained to turn every disadvantage to your advantage – you believed you had control over your vulnerabilities. Yet, it seemed that under stress, your subconscious was still weak, dragging you back to times when you were incapable of self-protection.
Taking a deep breath, you attempted to push the memories out of your mind. Upon finding the kitchen, you immersed yourself in breakfast preparation, only to be politely directed to the dining room by attendants responsible for the clan’s daily affairs.
As you looked at the chairs at the long table, hesitation crept in about where to sit. Bi-Han, as the grandmaster, should be seated at the head, and it would make sense for you to sit beside him as his wife. However, due to the tension between you, Bi-Han's presence felt dominating, even suffocating.
Moreover, you didn't want to risk sitting close to him after the insult he hurled about the bedroom issue the previous night. This time, you didn't want to be exposed in public simply because you sat next to him. Your pride had been wounded by his arrogant words and contempt for you from the very first day.
Therefore, you decided to secure yourself by opting to sit in one of the chairs in the middle. It wasn't long after you took your seat that Kuai Liang and Tomas, whom you recalled were Bi-Han's brothers, entered with another dark-skinned man. You remembered seeing him at the wedding ceremony but had no idea about his name.
All three of them seemed slightly surprised to see you but didn't hesitate to offer a small greeting with nods. You reciprocated with the same, along with a friendly smile and voice.
"Good morning."
Tomas, with his unusual gray hair that made his name easy to remember, was the first to respond to you.
"Good morning. I hope your first night here was comfortable."
When Kuai Liang jabbed Tomas hard with his elbow upon his words, Tomas realized the implication and raised his hands as if to say, ‘I am innocent,’ in a panic that contradicted the composure of a ninja. His cheeks turned slightly pink, and his grayish light blue eyes widened with embarrassment.
"That's not what I meant! Please forgive my rudeness," Tomas hastily clarified.
The sincerity of his reaction made an unexpected soft giggle escape your lips.
‘’That’s okay.’’
‘‘I know well what it means to get used to a foreign place. I just-‘’
“I think she understood what you meant, Tomas,” the dark-skinned man interjected. Seating himself opposite you, on the cross side, he continued, “My name is Sam, but I prefer you to say Cyrax.”
‘’Pleased to meet you,’’ you greeted politely, your gaze wandering over the three of them. ‘‘You know my name, but we haven't had the opportunity to meet formally. My name is (y/n). I will be in your care from now on.’’
‘’Glad to meet you,’’ Kuai Liang said. Sitting next to Cyrax, Tomas took the chair beside you. The seating arrangements caught your attention – Kuai Liang sat right next to the head chair, while Tomas left it empty instead of taking the same position and settled in next to you. You couldn't decipher if someone else was supposed to sit in the third seat instead of Tomas.
‘’You are my brother's wife; it would not be right for me to sit there anymore,’’ Tomas whispered, audible only to you. Your hands, resting on your lap, clenched into fists. Though sliding to one side was a simple action, you didn't want to do it, and you had good reasons. Fortunately, no one commented on this issue.
‘’I can imagine it's not easy, but this is your home now. We don't have to inherit the hostility of our ancestors. This marriage has given us an opportunity to prove this.’’
Kuai Liang looked at you with a sympathetic smile, showing that he noticed the tension. His face resembled Bi-Han's, but not entirely. Kuai Liang's expression had a warmth that could be described as calm and friendly. His dark brown eyes were sharp like Bi-Han's, yet they also held a gentle modesty. The impression at first glance was that he was not an arrogant person.
‘‘You are now a part of the Lin Kuei clan, so please feel comfortable and safe. No one can hurt you here. Our word is an oath.’’
His words calmed the chaos within you a little, but they weren't enough to dispel it entirely. Trusting was a difficult act for you, having learned through an extremely painful experience not to lean on your family. Therefore, you could only thank Kuai Liang for his words.
As breakfast was served, the atmosphere was cozy, the food surprisingly good. Even though you just met these men, there was a comfort in their company. They included you in their conversation, making you feel like you’ve always been part of their group. No one questioned or spoke harshly to you.
But it’s crucial to remember—they’re your enemies. Despite what Kuai Liang said, the real reason behind this marriage was to eliminate them. They’re seemed friendly, which shocked you. After the coldness you experienced from Bi-Han, this warm welcome was unexpected. It left you feeling a bit bewildered, struggling to believe in their friendliness. The breakfast, the conversations, all felt a bit surreal, and you couldn’t shake off the surprise, unsure of their true intentions.
As you were about to take a small sip of your steaming green tea, you caught Tomas's curious gaze watching you. According to a ninja, Tomas could betray himself easily with his expressions.
“Is there something on my face?’’ you asked. Tomas cleared his throat and averted his gaze from you.
‘’It just feels strange to see someone new at this table after so many years.’’
‘’May I hope that it is a good oddity?’’
‘’Yes, yes, of course.’’
‘’I think the part that makes it strange is that it is connected with your brother. Am I wrong?’’ you asked in a polite voice.
‘’We knew that our grandmaster was getting married soon; this was a topic that had been on the table for a long time. It surprised us all that it was with the Tengu clan,” Cyrax mentioned, crossing his muscular arms on his chest. “Obviously, we didn’t expect him to accept.”
“But this was definitely instrumental in something good,” Kuai Liang remarked. He should have been the mediator among them. You had only been with them for half an hour, but it was enough for you to understand that the man had a rather optimistic outlook. “My brother is not an easy person; he is deeply attached to his habits and clan. But I believe that time can change everything. Your marriage will be a new beginning for all of us, I feel that way.”
Your lips curled in a forced smile. Yes, there was no doubt that it would be a new beginning, but it would be instrumental in a much different cause than what Kuai Liang hoped. Grasping the porcelain cup with both hands, you looked at your image reflected in the tea.
Your eyes were determined, yet they also looked so hopeless. You had deep doubts and concerns about this task, unsure if you were strong enough to cope with it all alone. All these unknowns suffocated you, strengthening the vortex of chaos inside you.
While taking another sip of your tea, the sliding doors opened, and Bi-Han and another unknown person entered, someone you only saw out of the corner of your eye during the ceremony.
Bi-Han's eyes found you directly, and upon noticing the chair you had chosen, his brows furrowed noticeably. The atmosphere of the room instantly became heavy; there was nothing left of the cozy atmosphere just moments ago. The cold breeze emanating from Bi-Han caused you to shiver slightly despite the thick clothes you were wearing.
You were sure that he did this on purpose; it would be ridiculous to think that someone with the title of grandmaster couldn't control his powers. If he was trying to intimidate you, it was clear that he failed. However, you weren't going to take your chances either. Even if his observation of your powerlessness annoyed you, you were set on turning this situation to your advantage for the time being.
‘’You're late today.’’
‘’I was making an assessment with Sektor about the training of our newly arrived initiates,’’ said Bi-Han, responding to Kuai Liang. "They’re determined, and I am sure they will understand the order here in a short time and behave accordingly.’’
He didn't take his eyes off you when he said that. Implicitly, you understood that these words were directed at you. You continued to sip your tea quietly, ignoring his presence, as if you had never heard what he was saying.
‘’I don't think we are likely to encounter a problem as long as they are properly directed,’’ Sektor added. He, too, had sat next to Tomas, facing Cyrax. You could read on their faces that everyone was quietly questioning the idleness of the chair next to you.
‘‘How did you find the breakfast?’’
Everyone's attention turned when Bi-Han suddenly changed the subject and directed his question directly to you in a cold voice. Although you were suddenly uncomfortable with the attention being turned on you, you didn't show it. You lifted your chin slightly and looked directly into Bi-Han's eyes, who was watching you.
‘’Everything was quite delicious and carefully prepared; I can't find a word to say,’’ you continued with a kind smile and a sweet voice. "Of course, I wish my tea could stay a little warmer.’’ You said. Because of the cold breeze emitted by Bi-Han, everything that was steaming, especially the tea, lost its temperature in minutes.
Bi-Han's eyebrows furrowed a little more against your words. Now an obvious line had formed in the middle of his two eyebrows.
‘’Maybe you're not doing the right thing to keep warm.’’
"Forgive me for my words, but it is very difficult to understand what is right and what is not under these circumstances.’’
‘’Are they still talking about tea?’’ When Tomas asked Sektor his question in a whispering voice, Kuai Liang covered his face with one hand and sighed deeply.
Bi-Han's gaze was sharp enough to cut someone in half, and even though the danger signals he emitted made your entire body tremble, you maintained your posture. If Bi-Han expected respect for his boundaries, he needed to acknowledge that mutual respect was essential, understanding that you wouldn’t be compelled to obey as others in the clan did.
"Leave me alone with (y/n).’’
At his command, they got up without a word, and you caught Tomas's worried gaze as he quietly left the room. His expression made you a little nervous, but you also had no choice but to confront Bi-Han.
‘’What do you think you're doing?’’ he snarled. You maintained your innocent expression and calmness. You could tell from his demeanor that your attitude annoys him.
‘“I am drinking my tea,” you replied, lifting the cup delicately.
“Don’t play the fool with me. Do you think you can make a mockery of me in front of my clan?” Bi-Han’s voice dripped with irritation.
‘’No, of course not. I was just answering your questions.’’
Bi-Han's gaze darkened even more. While his jaw contracted angrily, the cold air he emitted started to cover the table with a thin layer of ice.
‘’When you are with the others, you will act like my wife, obey me, and keep quiet.’’
“Then I advise you not to ask me questions that you don’t want to hear answered, Grandmaster. Because I will not hesitate to answer you, do not doubt about that.’’
‘‘I'm warning you for the last time, (y/n). Do not try to confront me; the continuity of this alliance depends entirely on you. You better keep that in mind.’’
‘’I have no such intention.’’ Gripping the cup harder, you tried not to let go of your control and maintain your calm. ‘‘But remember that as long as your hostile attitude towards me continues, you will be reciprocated in the same way. If you want me to act like your wife in front of others, I have the right to be respected by you in the same way.’’
Bi-Han remained silent. As the chill in the room gradually dissipated, warmth returned, and you, too, breathed a sigh of relief, feeling the tension ease.
“From now on, you will sit on the chair next to me,” he declared in an authoritative tone that brooked no objections. “Our rooms are separate, but aside from that, you will stand in the position and place where you should stand as a wife.”
‘’All right. Do you have another desire?’’
"Finish your breakfast; Sektor will introduce you to the surroundings so that you don't get lost again.’’
‘‘That's very thoughtful of you, thank you.’’
Bi-Han's expression seemed to break for a moment, as if he was enjoying your answer; his lips curled with a ghostly smile. He leaned back without taking his gaze away from you.
‘‘How do you like your room?’’
‘’Good.’’ You said it honestly. ‘’It is spacious and quite comfortable.’’
‘‘Then why did you have a nightmare?’’
‘’Wouldn't it be more strange if I didn't?’’ Leaving your cup on the table, you also sat back in the same way and crossed your arms on your chest. ‘‘My husband not only dragged me out of the room like a little child, he insulted me and closed the door in my face.’’
‘‘I told you not to call me that.’’ Bi-Han warned.
An eyebrow raised defiantly at him.
‘‘I'm just stating the truth; it didn't happen any differently from what I said last night.’’
‘‘I'm not the cause of your nightmare." Bi-Han's confident tone of voice caused you to be both surprised and angry. While he didn't want to be involved in his own business, his refusal to show the same sensitivity to you to the second time was getting on your nerves now.
‘’You're afraid.’’ Said Bi-Han. You answered him back instantly.
‘’I'm not afraid of you.’’
The edge of Bi-Han's lip formed into a faint smile.
‘’I didn't say you were afraid of me. You're a brave woman; I can't take credit for that.’’
Bi-Han slowly got up from where he was sitting, sat down on the chair next to you in one fluid move, and grabbed one of the legs of the chair you were sitting on, pulling it towards him so that you could stand in a way to see him.
Your body automatically tensed up against Bi-Han being so close all of a sudden. The cool air emanating from the cryomancer was not menacing this time; you could clearly smell its clean smell on the snow outside, and the gaze locked on it made you feel like you were once again nose to nose with a snow leopard.
So that's how the prey felt when the predator made eye contact with its prey. Aggressive and cornered... It was terrible to be the focus of staring eyes to catch the slightest vulnerability; if you didn't have the confidence and pride in your abilities, you would have already got up from the chair or pointed one of the knives at Bi-Han on the table.
‘’What scares you (y/n)?’’
Bi-Han's big hands, grasping the arms of the chair which you were sitting on, further triggered the feeling of being cornered.
‘’Am I under interrogation?’’ You asked, although your voice sounded calm, the underlying tense timbre was reflected in your voice.
‘‘It depends on how you want to evaluate this situation.’’
‘’It makes me feel quite interrogative. I thought you could ask your questions effectively without the need for them. I think I should add this behavior to the list, besides being rude.’’
‘’You think I’m rude?’’
‘He couldn't really have asked that.’ You thought. A grunt, uncharacteristic of a lady, escaped your lips.
‘’I can't say you're a very kind person. Look, Grandmaster, we all have our own demons. The fact that I come from a noble family does not change this fact. I'm not going to bother changing your thoughts about me, but I'm asking you, you can get the answers to your questions without being rude to me. Showing a little humanity won't take anything away from you.’’
Bi-Han's hands were covered with blue ice that momentarily turned white, freezing the arms of the chair he held. Recovering at an impressive speed, he retreated, regaining control over his powers. As he looked at you, a thin wisp of smoke rose from his lips, and he lowered his voice to a timbre audible only to you, as if he didn't want anyone else to hear.
"You're hard-headed."
"I have to be." You replied in the same quiet tone, causing Bi-Han to frown.
"Finish your breakfast," he said after a while. "Sektor is waiting for you."
***
In the few days spent in the Lin Kuei clan, you gradually acclimated to the surroundings and order. However, differences between their ways and those of your own clan began to stand out.
One notable distinction was the training of female assassins. While they were fewer in number compared to men, it intrigued you to see them actively participating. In your clan, women were confined to domestic roles, regarded solely for lineage continuation. They were kept behind closed doors, learning little beyond simple crafts.
Here, the situation differed. Female assassins received the same martial arts training as their male counterparts. One, in particular, caught your attention—Frost. With striking white hair and pale skin, she stood out. Possessing cryomancer powers like Bi-Han, she didn't seem to like you but maintained a respectful nod when passing by, acknowledging your status as the grandmaster's wife.
Another point of interest was the tight security within the Lin Kuei clan. Despite your discreet observations, there were no visible vulnerabilities. Watchtowers, constantly patrolling ninjas, high stone walls, and warriors trained under Bi-Han's supervision made it a formidable fortress.
Solidarity among the clan brothers was unwavering, leaving no room for discord. Conversations ceased when you approached, and you were consistently kept out of their discussions. Despite efforts to keep it secret, the fact that you shared separate rooms with Bi-Han became known. Although it bothered you, you managed to cope with it for a while.
This isolation felt unlike anything you'd experienced before. Even in your own clan, while the atmosphere wasn't vastly different, at least there was a familiar layout and recognizable faces.
Every night, your old memories resurfaced, and sleep became increasingly elusive. The weight of the mission seemed heavier than anticipated, causing nightmares to haunt you regularly.
"(Y/n)? Are you okay?"
Tomas's voice pulled you out of your thoughts, and you looked up to see him from where you were sitting.
‘’Oh, Tomas. I didn't hear you coming. Yes, I'm fine; I'm just lost in thought. Would you like to join me a little bit?’’
As you gestured to the empty cushion next to you, Tomas joined you with a small smile.
‘’I think I have time enough for a little company.’’
‘’That's great. How are the trainings going? I heard that some of the new members are under your responsibility.’’
"It's good, they're catching on quickly, but they still have a long way to go.’’
‘’I've had the opportunity to observe your training from time to time; you seem like a pretty good teacher. I'm sure they'll get the hang of it soon.’’
In response to your friendly compliment, Tomas's eyes sparkled with happiness, and his cheeks turned slightly pink. Among the brothers, Tomas was the easiest to decipher; you felt comfortable around him. Maybe it was because he was younger and more naive compared to others; there was a part of him that genuinely listened to what you were saying rather than analyzing you. That made it easier for you to get along with him.
‘’Thank you; it made me happy to hear all this. Have you gotten used to it here? I hope Bi-Han isn't causing you too much difficulty.’’
‘’I guess I'm getting used to it’.’ You said it in a low voice. After the conversation in the dining room a few days ago, Bi-Han's stern attitude hadn't changed, but you could notice that he was paying attention to the way he spoke a little. On the other hand, his gaze was still on you, analyzing you, his attitude was distant and cold. There has been no change in this regard.
When things were like this, you didn't know how to bound him to yourself; as your brother advised, it was the same as asking for the impossible.
‘‘I am glad to hear that. It seems difficult at first, but time somehow allows you to get used to it.’’
‘‘Tomas, I don't want you to misunderstand me, and please forgive me if I'm out of line. I heard something, you-‘’
Tomas stated, his typically expressive face now unreadable, sending a wave of unease through you.
“I’m sorry, I crossed the line,” you quickly apologized, sensing the sensitivity of the topic.
‘’No, no, no." Tomas shook his head from side to side and gave you a little smile that suppressed a lot of pain. ‘‘This incident happened many years ago. It's true that I'm not related to them by blood, but despite that, I wasn't raised any different from Bi-Han and Kuai Liang. Their family became my family too, they were always warm and understanding towards me. Time has allowed me to get used to both them and here. Of course, it wasn't as easy as I said.’’
‘’Considering where I come from, I don't know how good or convincing it will be for you to hear this from me, but I'm sorry for your loss.’’ You said with a bitter smile.
"Thank you, and you must stop thinking that way. You are not our enemy (y/n). Also, I always find it more correct to judge the person alone.’’
Your eyebrows are slightly furrowed as you try to understand what he is saying. As you pulled your knees to yourself, you gave Tomas a curious look.
‘‘How so?’’
‘’We can’t judge everyone the same way. Yes, it is true that you are part of the Tengu Clan, but you are a single individual. You have your own truths, wrongs, beliefs, and desires. At some point, you’re doing what your clan orders you to do, but that doesn’t mean you think the same as them. People are complex, (y/n). Life shapes us differently, and our experiences carve unique paths. Your actions might be guided by duty, but your thoughts and feelings are your own. That’s why I believe that everyone should be evaluated alone. This is the fair one for me.”
Tomas' words struck a chord in your heart that you never anticipated, a deep impact that sent unexpected ripples through your emotions. In an instant, tears welled up in your eyes, tracing a delicate path down your cheeks, catching you off guard. A surprised yet heartfelt smile played on your lips as the weight of Tomas's understanding resonated deeply within you.
Tomas, on the other hand, tried to calm you down, not knowing what to do with a horrified expression.
‘‘I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry.’’
’’No," another wet chuckle spilled from your lips. ‘’Your words touched me, that's all. I'm fine, honestly, I wasn't expecting to cry either.’’
You've never seen such an approach in your clan, and the olive branch Tomas extended made you feel good, as well as unfamiliar. You wanted to be angry with yourself for being so easily impressed, but you couldn't, your cheeks were flushed with shame that you were so hungry for a few kind words. You wiped the tears from your cheeks while your heart ached with a heat that you couldn't help.
Was it really as easy as Tomas said?
At that time, a woman came to you with a tea tray in her hand, and the moment she realized that you werecrying, she hurriedly left what she had on the coffee table in the middle and handed you the handkerchief she took out of her pocket.
‘‘Here, use this, please.’’
Taking the handkerchief, you wiped your tears quickly. When you saw that the concern in Tomas' gaze didn't subside a bit, you smiled and patted his arm.
‘’I'm really fine, Tomas, you have a good and pure heart. That’s very rare so protect it, okay?’’
‘’You're forgetting that I'm a ninja.’’ Tomas said, returning to his relaxed attitude just now.
‘’But I know that you are serving a good and honorable purpose. You're protecting Earthrealm on behalf of Lord Liu Kang, isn't that right?’’
When Tomas' cheeks turned pink once again and he signaled his approval, your smile widened. Just then, the woman cleared her throat, recapturing your attention. With a gentle smile, she poured tea into a cup and extended it to you, offering it for you to take.
“I made ginger tea for you. It’s good for the cold weather,” the woman said. Despite looking strong and young, her voice hinted at a bit of age. “It’ll soothe you and make you feel better. The ginger has healing properties, a little something to fight the chill and keep you warm.”
‘’Oh, thank you, that's very thoughtful of you.’’
You took the cup between your hands with the happiness of the unexpected gesture. The warmth instantly spread from your fingertips to your hand, warming you up against the cool air.
‘’Would you like me to bring a cup for you too?’’ She said, turning her question to Tomas.
‘’No need, I have to go back to training soon. Maybe later.’’
After the woman offered both of you a polite smile for the last time, she withdrew to leave the two of you alone again. As the pungent smell of ginger spread around, you brought it closer to your lips to take a sip from the cup.
At that time, you caught a glimpse of Bi-Han out of the corner of your eye; he was coming towards your place from the middle of the garden covered with white snow. Since the day you arrived, his gaze, which he has always kept locked on you, found you directly; you were starting to get used to this habit a little. And you responded to him, sipping ginger tea while watching him approach.
The taste burned your throat because the tea was brewed a little too much, but because the heat warmed you up, you ignored the bitter taste and continued to drink in small sips.
‘’Is it nice? I probably don't like ginger tea very much; it reminds me of when I was sick.’’
Tomas' words made you giggle.
‘’I'd say it's drinkable. Besides, a little warmth from ginger won’t hurt.”
“Well, as long as it’s not medicinal.” Tomas said with a grin. As you continued sipping your tea, Bi-Han’s shadow loomed over the two of you, casting a momentary hush. In the quiet pause, the weight of his presence filled the air, and you sensed his usual commanding aura.
‘’Is everything all right?’’ asked Tomas.
"Cyrax needs to go on a mission; you will take over the group he is training for a few days.’’
Tomas shrugged.
‘’Of course, that's all right. Did you come all the way here just to tell me that? You could tell me this at dinner.’’
Bi-Han opened his mouth to answer, which you unintentionally interrupted with your unexpected cough. The cough came out so hard that your throat hurt as if it had been torn out.
Unable to understand what was happening, you dropped the cup you were holding and began desperately rubbing your neck, as if you could take away the pain that was scorching your throat.
‘‘(y/n)?’’ Bi-Han kneeled down in front of you with frowning brows, carefully looking you up and down, trying to figure out what your problem was. When his dark brown eyes were turned to yours again, his gaze hardened as he caught the desperate expression on your face.
‘‘What's the matter?’’
‘’I don't know.’’ The panic in your voice was audible. When you started coughing again, your coughs turned into a crisis and prevented you from breathing. Tomas' anxious voice filled your ears.
‘’She's choking.’’
‘’Shit.’’
Bi-Han’s grip on your arms was vice-like as he swiftly maneuvered you onto your side, averting the risk of drowning in your own saliva. A tidal wave of excruciating pain surged through your body, each convulsive cough accompanied by a guttural groan that fought its way out despite your efforts. The world around you blurred into a nightmarish haze, and an overwhelming sense of panic and fear tightened its grip on your heart.
As the cough increased in intensity, your mouth filled with a metallic taste.
Blood.
‘’Tea! There is poison in the tea!’’
Tomas's voice echoed in your ears. The pain strengthened in waves, increasing its effect on you. It was different from the pain when your throat was cut, you felt like your internal organs were liquefying, and you almost lost consciousness because of this terrible pain.
Your whole body was almost on fire; you were so hot that you thought your skin was melting, and it hurt so much that you were ready to sacrifice everything to make it end.
When you were struggling to survive, you felt like you were touched by something cool. The pain had not disappeared, but the coldness that touched your skin had taken you away from the scorching fire, even a little.
You blinked your eyes a few times, trying to figure out what happened. As the power gradually left your body, you were rapidly weakening in your perceptions.
When you managed to pick out Bi-Han's face, you realized that you were on his lap. Your head was against his chest, and you must have coughed a few more times because the front of his clothes was stained with your blood. When you realized this, you muttered something like ‘‘I'm sorry’’ with your numb lips.
‘’Don't talk,’’ Bi-Han commanded with stern authority. ‘’Don't you dare close your eyes.’’
Writhing in his lap, each groan echoed the inferno within. Blood seeped from the corners of your lips, internal organs ablaze. A feeble utterance managed to escape, ‘‘It hurts.’’ You doubted how much longer you could endure. Keeping your eyelids open felt like an unbearable burden, as if tons of weight pressed upon them, leaving you only able to moan, cry, and squirm.
‘'I know.'’
‘I don't want to die,’ you thought. Facing death for the second time, you understood the feeling, yet you resisted, unprepared to depart. You fought against the engulfing darkness, a powerless struggle in the face of excruciating torment. How much longer could you endure? You didn’t know the answer.
Bi-Han shook you urgently, ‘’Keep your eyes open,’’ he growled. His movement made you moan for a long time like a wounded animal. Would this pain never end? Hot tears or blood? It flowed under the eyelids that you don't know when you closed them.
‘‘You're not going to die, do you hear me? You won't die.’’
Even though you heard Bi-Han's words, all you felt was the darkness engulfing you and the nothingness that came with it.
. . . . . . . . . . . .
Hold on, reader-san! Everything will be…okay…I hope.🥲
P.S: I barely had time to edit this, if you notice any errors, please let me know!
P.S 2 : I also learned that Cyrax’s real name is Felix Sam Kaweeson and Sektor’s name is Li Hog Jing.

Bi Han x Bimbo Reader
Tumblr media
"I need to die looking good."
This is for chickensandwich69
Warning: Bi Han is sexist (and a bit of a d*ck), and mild sexual flirting but nothing explicit.
She has priorities.
She wasn't fighting for Earthrealm, nor did she have any interest in fighting for Shao Kahn. She was in it for herself, blindsided and forced to compete, but making the most of what she could enjoy out of it.
And that was something Bi Han could respect, even though her motivations weren't. Spending time with friends, shopping, getting her hair and makeup done, and scoring herself a romantic companion.
The She/Her in question is you. You were a ballerina, a gymnast, a cheerleader, pageant Queen. It was clear competition is in your blood, so the tournament was a walk in the park for you. The fighting part, anyway. Seeing you freak out over blood was another matter.
"Do you want me to massage your hair?" you asked him, a cheeky smile on your face. He nodded, and you did as you offered.
Seeing Bi Han's face was a luxury, and you would do anything to see it as long as you could, even though you didn't mind him with his mask. You liked being the one that gets pampered, but you would make an exception for Bi Han.
He questions how it came to this, all the time.
Maybe it's your Chaosrealm blood. Nothing made sense around you but it came naturally. It happened out of nowhere. First, you're watching him train with Cyrax. Second, you're following him and yapping your mouth off. Third, he ends up doing something very intimate with you and he's wearing less clothes. And it involves his mouth and lower region.
Your relationship wasn't much of a secret, considering you were seen hugging his arm if you were both in the same room or area, but not enough lived to know it as fact. With the tournament and all. Or just in general. Bi Han saw competition in their gazes, which meant jealousy. Which meant lots of ice and blood during fights. Thankfully you were too dumb to figure it out, because blood upset you a lot, and you had only started making an exception for the tournament.
"What else would you like me to do?" you were sitting on his lap now, something in your eyes. Pretty obvious what you were feeling.
Oh yeah, that's why. There was no way he would resist this.
Bi Han may be a Lin Kuei assassin, and one that takes his profession very seriously, but he could enjoy a good lady himself. You had just broken up with your boyfriend so it felt like a fitting decision to take your attention while it was still available to him. So long as you were his no one else could have it.
Tumblr media
Companions were not common within the clan, and you were an excellent fighter. Sure, there were the cultural differences and the clash of personalities, but if the Lin Kuei were to ever find out it would be unbelievable, so it was a right decision.
You desired him and he desired you, it worked both ways. Both of you were being selfish, he was certain, but you initiated so he had no reason to care about your feelings.
[Noob Saibot]
He grew more possessive of you, and that possession followed him when he died. Before he would freeze any man that flirted with you, these days he killed them. You were distraught when Bi Han died, but you weren't sure what to make of his new self. It was still Bi Han, but he was Goth now and you've never been with a Goth before. You were determined to try something new, however, so you kept going on with the relationship.
You didn't understand his new found problems with his brother or where his bizarre mindset came from, but your main concern was matching with your boyfriend, so you had a bunch of black designer dresses lined up in your wardrobe.
"I guess Goth isn't a phase." you said to yourself. Then again, your parents thought you were a phase.
Bi Han gently brushed your hair out of your face and kissed your cheek, even though his skin wasn't as soft as it originally was, which meant his lips were almost shrivelled into his skull. It would only be fair if you were dead as well, that way he wouldn't feel left out from lack of lips.
"Where is your fear?"
"I think I left it in my purse."
"We will find it."
You had only started getting used to his new odd way of showing his affection, but it still made your insides all fluttery. You kissed him sweetly. Your lip gloss stained on his 'lips', and Bi Han didn't show any irritation, but there was the pride she recognised. It wasn't often he gave an expression since his change.

Bro what would happen if i pranked the main lin kuei boys before cyber initiation
Hey! Sorry this one took a while, I had to think of a good one with Hydro! (There was another ask about pranking Hydro so I added him into the mix.) Without further ado, I hope you enjoy! PRANKING THE LIN KUEI BOYS BEFORE THE CYBER INITIATIVE:
Bi-han
You peaked your head down the hallway making sure the blue clad ninja you were about to prank wasn't coming yet. Grabbing a stoll you stepped up onto it, hearing the tump of your foot steps on the wood. The rip of the tape made you cringe at how much louder it seemed to be in the silence. Placing the tape carefully where you knew his forehead would hit, you quickly got down, hidding the tool and grinning with excitment. Rubbing your hands together you had to quickly calm down as you heard the tell tale sounds of his foot steps. Bi-Han hesitated before stepping into the door to his room. The shit eating grin on your face had him closing his eyes to hide to roll of them.
"What are you doing?" You looked around, faining ignorance as if he weren't talking to you. "Nothing.." Came you quick dismissive answer. Bi-han wasn't having that, stepping forward he started to ask you again when he felt it, the sticky tape pressed against his forehead, pulling back quickly with a growl he looked at the tape before turning his glare to you watching as you doubled over in laughter. "Y/N" Letting out a squeal when he swipped to grab you you headed back to the window that was in his room. When you finally turned the latch and threw it up, your hands on the paines as your foot stepped up for you to make your escape a strong arm stopped you before you could dive out into the waiting snow. Before you could protest, you felt Bi-han place the clear tape across your lips, you couldn't help but laugh behind it at the look he was giving you.
"How this is going to back fire for you." You threw you towards his bed before turning to close his door.
Bi-hand would be a tiny bit annoyed, I think more so that he fell for something like that, but it is hilarious for you. -You can also bring up when he is feel sure of himself that he walked into tape at one point so was he really the mighty? -He's already planned to get you back, don't ask him when, just word of the wise, be on your toes.
Kuai Liang
You thanked Thomas for letting you borrow his shoes, before hurrying back to the steps. He seemed a little confused but was used to your prankster antics. Carefully you placed the last containers of water into the shoes, stepping of the bottom step you clasped your hands together, before strumming your fingers together, oh, this was going to be good. It was time to put on your best acting skills. Leaving the room it took you no time to find Kuai, a smile growing on your face you had to strain your cheeks to keep it from ruining the whole thing.
"Oh, thank god.. Kuai" At the mention of his name he quickly stood up, concerned at the frazzled look on your face. He met you half way, his hands on your shoulders to steady you. "What is the matter Snow drop?" He scanned your face, brows furrowed. You shook your head trying to figure out how to get your words out to him.
"There is a lot of water.. Like A LOT of water running down the stairs, and I don't know what to do.." Kuai gave your shoulders a reassuring squeeze before heading out of the hall. You kept apologizing as you followed him to the room. Kuai was a little confused when the floor at the bottom of the steps weren't wet, his hands on the railing he stumbled and put his foot back on the ground. Shoes with water that were placed as if taking a step down the steps had him stoned face before removing his hand from the rail. The sound of your laughter had him turning to look at you, crumpled over on the floor in laughter. "I got you good." You finally managed to get out between your fits of laughter. Kuai just shook his head before making his way out the door.
"hey!" You called after him sitting up from the ground to quickly follow him.
-Kuai, that sweet baby angle, jumped into action when you were destressed. -When he realizes it is a prank, a part of him told him he should have known. -He does appreciate that good nature of it, and the tingling feeling your laugh fills him with. - He likes how much more creative you get with the jokes. Won't tell you that, but he appreciates the thought you put into it.
Smoke
"Can you make proabably about 100 of them?" You looked at the Sub-Zero brothers, Bi-han looked almost insultued like you thought this was the hardest task know to man. An infant could make 100 snow balls without problem.
"We can do it.. but what is in it for us?" He asked you, arms now crossed and looking like he was impatient for your answer. 'Hmmm' your lips turned down as your pursed them together, nodding your head in thought.
"A first row seat at the look on Smokes face…" Kuai looked to his brother, Bi-han looked like he wasn't impressed with just that. You let out a huf before rolling your eyes. "I can do your laundry for a week too." Bi-han took a minuet to think of over before he held out his hand, palm resting close to your face. The air grew cooler when you could see what begin to pull to the center of his hand, it started to swirl until a perfect white ball was formed. Kuai followed suit, each one made you would put into the cubard. When the last one was put in, Kuai made his way to go find Smoke. You and Bi-han sat at the table.
When Smoke stepped into the kitchen he greeted your with his hand on your back. "Hey, Smoke, could you grab me a cup, I couldn't reach one."
"Of course y/n" Bi-han, Kuai, and you waited and watched with baited breath. Unbeknownst to Smoke what was waiting for him, he opened the cupbard, looking up his eyes widdened until an avalanch of white snow balls began to fall and around him. "What…." He pushed the cold substance from his shoulders, hearing the retreating foot steps of the three of you caused him to jerk his head to where you once sat. You, Bi-han, and Kuai where hidden behind the corner of the wall. You were catching your breath between laughs, when you straightened back up you started to have a gigle fit again when you thought of the look on Thomas's face. "That was AMAZING."
Kuai and Bi-han Could see the Smoke pooling down the hall and started to back up before leaving you, Kuai opened his mouth to say something, but Bi-han clamped a hand over it and ushered him faster. You raised a brow and went to say something when you heard his voice "Y/n" Before you could move or say something, the back of your shirt was being pulled back by the collar and the shock of the cold falling down your skin had you jumping and turning to face Smoke, and cheeky smile on your face and the stern look on his.
-Smoke would be the second most calm I feel like Kuai -You can't tell me Bi-han wasn't the most invested in watching how this would turn out. -He would hold you to keep you warm afterwards. -Feels like he too should have known this was a prank of some sort, you are very sneaky, sneaky, and he loves it.
Sektor
You held your breath as your were crouched, silent steps crept closer to the red clad Lin Kuei, in your hand you held a fake snake with a clear string tied around it. Your heart thumped louder in your chest the closer you got to Sektor. When you reached him you sucked your lips between your teeth as you worked with shakey hands to tie the snake around his boot. Stepping backwards you moved to the left standing straight to go stand next to Sektor as he talked to Cyrax and Bi-han. You stood there quietly stiffling any giggles you had building up. In the middle of their conversation you looked down, your brows furrowing in confussion. "SEKTOR… WHAT IS THAT?" You all but screamed causing the blue and yellow ninja to look where you finger was pointed, both of them jumped back started when the snake moved closer to Sektor when he moved his foot. You jumped back as well before laughing when you saw the usual stoic ninja lose his composer for a second. When a glare he turned his eyes onto you quickly, you watched as he stood on the fake snake with one foot and pulled the one that it was attatched too up and snapping the string.
"Y/n" You were already halfway back to the temple and making your way to your room. Bi-han couldn't help the chuckle that left his lips as Sektor seethed. Cyrax shaking his head as he moved to pick the snake up before Sektor got any ideas. -Ol SourPuss, truly. Lol -He would pitch a fit about it. Giving you glares thinking about ways he would get you back. Be that extra training, extra cleaning, or something muuuuccchhhh more personal on his end.
-Chose your pranks wisely with this one. He's got a fragile ego that he can't have touched in any way he doesn't like.
Cyrax
Sektor watched you carefully cut a hole onto the side of the box facing all of you. Thomas held the potatoe that you had asked him to grab. Kuai Liang, and Bi-han stood into the kitchen with you guys, none of them wanted to miss this. Fixing the flaps of the box where Cyrax would have enough room to just put his hand in, you clapped your hands together and nodded your head in aprovel.
"So… how is this a prank?" Sektor asked arms crossed and he leaned back against the counter.
"Because Cyrax doesn't know what's in there. It could be anything, and hyping him up for the worst possible item to be in there and watching him freak out for a minuet is funny until he realizes what is actually in there." You told the red ninja matter of factly as if it was obvious for everyone but him. He shook his head and didn't say anything, just waited to see if this really was going to work out how you had it planned in your head.
Cyrax entered the kitchen where he found all of you gathered and a white box sitting on the counter, he lowered his eyes at everyone and turned his head quickly when he felt you push him closer to the box.
"What is this?" He wasn't new to your pranks, he assumed this had to be one, but he didn't know what it was. "You'll see." You responded to him in a sing song voice.
You stood on the opposite side of Cyrax, stairing at the open end of the box. "Okay.. all you have to do is stick your hand into the box, and touch what is in there." Cyrax raised his brow at what you told him, process the words and trying to find where the trick lies in them.
"What's in it?" He asked again not moving his hand or trusting you. "Touch it and find out." You told him, resting your palms on the counter your fingers slid underneath the ledge of the counter.
Shaking his head, you watched as he slipped his hand in his cool composure finally breaking when he brushed the item with his finger tips. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" "I don't want to say, I think you made it mad.."The other ninjas and your self stiffle a laugh. Cyrax pulled his hand back so fast that the box fell over, the potatoe rolling out of it and bouncing on the floor. When his face dropped he gave you a deadpanned look.
"The potatoe looks like it's full of rage y/n" You walked around to pick it up and he quickly jerked it from your hand before trying to get you to take a bite out of it. Pushing your hands against his to keep them away from your face with the spud. "You have to admit I got you.." He shook his head before placing the item down on the counter and pulled you into a headlock.
"Not your best work, but I'll give you a passable grade." Placing your hands on his forearm that rested on your clavical you tilted your head back to look at him with a raised brow and smirk on your lips.
-Cyrax is already tired of all the shit. ALL OF IT. Thanks Sektor and Bi-han -Your jokes are highlights to him that can break his very serious and stern outward apperance. -He is the one who will let you have your fun and be okay with it as long as you don't make a mess of his room again. (The one prank with the chicken feathers.. yeah, never again. And after you picked up so many even you couldn't remember how you got that many of them)
-He will lecture you a little about using food that goes for everyone to eat and try not to do that.
-Cyrax is also the sneaky deaky one. He will get you back, you don't know when, but it will happen.
Hydro
You hummed as you finished filling up the balloon with water. Tying the end so the water wouldn't rush out, you placed it on the plate that sat next to the sink. Grabbing the icing that was on the counter you carefully spread it over the balloon, before squeezing whip cream onto the top. Licking the sticky substance from your finger, you grabed the plate before making your way to Hydros room.
He was on the floor meditating when you gently knocked on his door. He gave you a grunt in awknowledgment and you walked into the room, closing the door behind you. When you moved closer to him, Hydro opened his eyes and followed your movements with them, watching as you sat down holding the plate aboove your head before placing it on the floor infront of him, and fork was pushed into his hand. You knew his wasn't going to question anything when he saw the chocolate coated treat.
"you've been working really hard so I wanted to reward you for it." You told him, scooting closer when he picked the plate up the closer he moved it towards his face, the closer you inched towards him. You had to stop from bouncing in place when he finally pushed the fork into the cake, when the pop was heard Hydro jerked his hand away from him so the water couldn't soak his clothes. Lowering his eyes at your laughted, you stoped when you watched the water freeze into place, it all coming together to form a perfect sphere.
"You look thirsty y/n" You started backing up before he could get you wet.
-Side note, Hydros is probably the worst, there wasn't too much to go off for him, so it took me a minuet to get this one out. -I think he would be annoyed. -He is a very no nonsense guy. But knowing it came from you is a little endearing.
He will make you clean everything up, including whatever got wet in his room. "Hydro… you can just collect all the water, you know that right?" Even if he did you will watch as he crossed his arms refusing to budge. "Doesn't matter, use that imagination of yours to pretend you still have to clean it up as if it were still there." He would state watching you with eagle eyes.
He's fun to prank; but prepare for the lecture. You know the scene in the Grinch where he says the lines, lines, lines, yeah that but instead with lectures.
Sorry it took a minuet to get these out but I hope you like it and that it was what you were looking for!

pairing(s): sub-zero/bi-han & reptile/syzoth x reader (seperate) synopsis: shang tsung’s proposition tempted you. his powers guaranteed so you took it. how can they see you now, when you’re going against your morals for yourself? alt: requested by this ask! notes: - reader is gender neutral - anon, thank uu for requesting !! i also wanna mention, im capable of writing for most of mk1 characters :] i should’ve specified on my pinned comment but as long as you read my rules, it’s all good - btw this was such a fun concept to write !!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
BI HAN/SUB-ZERO  -> It works in his favor, while Bi-Han struggled to make amends for the well-being of Lin Kuei. Circumstances were failing him - his father, no doubt, created a bad example for him. He could not guide him on the significance of maintaining order on Earthrealm. Your recent habits did not surprise him - you were always a kind-hearted person. You were the one who helped Tomas when he struggled to make a perfect score and who volunteered additional counseling for new Lin Kuei trainees - you were dutiful to follow his steps and to protect Earthrealm.
-> But perhaps on that day, when Shang Tsung turned Bi-Han against his brothers, it made you think twice about what was at stake. Kuai Liang knocks him out and brings him back to the compound in solitary confinement. “Kuai Liang told me you aligned with the enemy?” You questioned, him half expecting you to be furious at his endeavor. The Lin Kuei's Grandmaster scoffs at the mention of Scorpion, his scorned brother, the one to betray him. “He was a fool otherwise - What Shang Tsung offered will lead The Lin Kuei to glory.” Part of Bi-Han’s mind pondered your disapproval of his defiance - you always disliked the mistreatment of power, leaving no justice for those less fortunate. Why you are willing to stand by his stand is unknown to the Grandmaster. -> You do not visit for a few days, and the cryomancer grows wary of your rejection against him. Coincidentally, you were more aligned with his younger brothers, accepting the peace that Liu Kang made - you were never to oppose, even suggesting alternative solutions when issues struck. Liu Kang nonetheless appreciated your advice but never took upon your suggestions. Bi-Han feels enraged by this - you had many skills, faring better than some of his soldiers.  -> The night he escaped the compound, Sektor and Cyrax reassure him of your safety. It was your idea, and Bi-Han feels relief when he encounters you keeping watch. Lin Kuei soldiers – devoted to him and your cause, are by your side, monitoring the site. The Grandmaster drained from numerous hours of inactivity, bolts to you. “I thought you would stay,” Left me – a fear he would never tell. However, you catch it in his eyes, promising, almost pleading for you. “I am by your side, Bi-Han,” you say, interlacing your hands with his. “Never forget that.”  -> Your peculiar habits began bit by bit after the battle with Titan Shang Tsung. With the service of Sektor, Bi-han was able to elevate the Lin Kuei with cybernetic soldiers. He acknowledged this was the more reasonable choice than Shang Tsung’s soul stealers as it was discreet from Liu Kang’s notice. You believed the same - the Lin Kuei required more allies, and building their strength would be a nifty task. The revelation brought you to the masterful sorcerer. Shang Tsung is disingenuous but does not worry you. As long as he did his end of the bargain, you considered - would be adequate. In exchange for control, he could summon you at any time. An easy compromise that you assumed - would not disrupt Lin Kuei’s plans. -> Time after time, you were not like yourself. You felt you had gone through a dramatic shift after inheriting new powers. It was as if you were reborn with greater intention. The things you used to tend for did not feel the exact or vital. Scorpion and Smoke pointed this out when they witnessed you again in Japan. Things have changed — you have changed. They could see it in your eyes and demeanor. You were no longer the gentle and maternal figure they grew up seeing. [ bi-han ]: together, side by side, the lin kuei will fare no better glory. [ you ]: if only kuai liang and tomas understood this.
Tumblr media
SYZOTH/REPTILE -> Syzoth is worried about you. Every minute you stand by Shang Tsung’s side, darkness infests your mind. Syzoth had bare witness to the mischievous schemes and understood it would be detrimental for you. Compared to him and everyone else, you were the last person someone would wish to pursue into madness. How should he explain this? -> When Syzoth met you, it was a pure accident. You were gazing through the multiple fruit stands the city had to show. He was performing a show per Shang Tsung’s persistence. To reveal his Zaterran qualities, Reptile continuously did tricks, transforming back and forth between forms. His stunts were not the first thing that captured your stare. But merely his smile - you knew what happiness and joy felt like. From afar, you saw how broken he was. At the end of the night, Syzoth scurried backstage to prepare for the following day. Unexpectedly, you arrived, arms crossed behind your back with a cutely curious expression. “You’re the performer, right? The one with Zaterran blood?”   -> “What does it mean to you? Here to insult me?” His voice is sharp and rigid as he dismisses your presence, shaking the boxes beside his tent. Numerous strangers were keen to spend time with him. Most enjoyed the entertainment he produced. You saw the void Syzoth had, standing out on the podium like a puppet. It was degrading to a living being. You wanted to help him - however, Syzoth rejected it. If Shang Tsung witnessed your compassion, who knows what manipulative excuse he would use?  -> Though it struck him by surprise what Shang Tsung told him the following morning, “A benevolent soul has sent their regards to you and has convinced me to travel with us. I must thank you, Syzoth.” Horror struck the Zatterian as if he had witnessed the most vile crime. His intent was never to pursue you into his mess. Nonetheless, he frets for your safety and what would happen to your mind once corrupted.  -> Your innocence is what kept Syzoth going. In the opaque chasms of Shang Tsung's experiments, you were the one person he could lean on when circumstances had driven him mad. You are supportive and affectionate. And you know the ways and words to console him from his night terrors. While the longer you stayed with him, the more you saw misconduct and depravity. There was an appeal to the sorcerer. Born with little power, you became curious for a better life. Shang Tsung gladly offered and gave you what you considered a gift from the Elder Gods. Like day and night, you were conspicuous with your odd habits. There were times Syzoth questioned your motives, always collecting materials for Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. You were delighted to comply with their requests, even going out of your way to exploit their payment. -> However, one thing he knew that was true was your fondness for him. You deeply cared for the shape-shifting Zatterran. Always there to safeguard him from unwanted matters. All the horrific experiments tormented him. And when they fetch new subjects, the laboratory would be the worst place to reside. The nauseating smell of flesh and blood could never escape him. That is the burden Syzoth must carry forever. You were his guardian angel in some ways. In frantic need, you make all his fears go away. Simply by your presence alone, Syzoth will feel at ease. Where he is near, you are never too far off. You have sacrificed much for him.
-> The two of you looked out for each other. There was no line you would not cross to save Syzoth. Even now, as you two fled the wretched laboratory of his former master, you had suggested killing the Earthrealmers. Which Syzoth immediately brought down, scolding you for how casual you made it sound to be. Johnny, Kenshi, and Kung Lao were not like Shang Tsung. They were deemed trustworthy - for setting him and you free from imprisonment. He knew you meant no harm, simply looking out for his safety and yours. Syzoth hopes one day to change your perspective on outsiders and Earthrealm alike. He believes you would thrive better here at Lord Liu Kang’s sanctuary.  -> Initially, the Fire God had given his friend, Johnny, a questionable look. After he deemed him, you, and Asrah compatible with Earthrealm's cause, you were welcome with open arms. It was the first step for you to contemplate and rehabilitate yourself. He hopes for you to stay away from harm. Syzoth all knew of the toxic threads Shang Tsung had placed on you - he anticipates you freed of them. And to allow yourself to aid people for the greater good.  [ you ]: don't believe all of what liu kang has to say. [ syzoth ]: why? and trust shang tsung instead?

Lin Kuei Sharing a Bed with Their S/O
Tumblr media
Warnings: 18+ for hints at suggestive themes, lots of fluff, gender-neutral reader
♤ Older Sub-Zero (Bi-Han)
Bi-Han's bedroom is always going to be frigid to the point where your breath is visible and you're shivering; it's a tidy and roomy space, but he's prepared too, you're surprised about how many cozy blankets he has on hand for you.
Must have some sort of physical contact with you at all times; loves to protectively curl himself around you and you always wake up a tangled mess, sometimes when he's too tired Bi-Han will just starfish on top of you but he means well. ALWAYS big spoon, and has some interesting ideas for how he'll wake you up in the morning ;)
Between a light and a heavy sleeper; he can fall asleep/stay asleep fairly well, though if something alarming happens (nightmares usually) or if he senses something off, he's up immediately. Bi-Han's a morning person, and rarely falls asleep before you unless he's extremely exhausted.
♤ Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang)
Kuai Liang's bedroom is not as cold as his older brother's, but the low temperature is still noticeable; it's a very well-organized and large space (obviously, since he's the Grandmaster), and he's also got ton of blankets.
Has grown to love cuddles and much like his brother, Kuai Liang prefers having some sort of physical contact while in bed; not as clingy as Bi-Han but still expect closeness, and cold kisses. It's a toss up between big/little spoon, but Kuai Liang is usually big spoon.
More of a light sleeper than anything; Kuai Liang always has his guard up, before you he spent nights sleeping rigidly. Morning person, prefers to make sure you get rest before himself, or he'll have to get up earlier to take care of his Grandmaster tasks.
♤ Smoke (Tomáš Vrbada)
Tomáš's bedroom stays pretty well-kept aside from the occasional small stack of books on the ground, and it stays relatively warm in there; it's a cozy little space considering how cold and harsh the atmosphere of the temple is.
LOVES cuddles; Tomáš enjoys holding his partner so much, physical touch is one of his love languages and he prefers having sleeping positions where he can face you (sweetheart's cradle is his jam). Absolutely a big spoon, but rarely will want to be little spoon. Be ready for lots of kisses and nuzzles.
Very light sleeper; Tomáš tends to stay up later because of his insomnia and nightmares (thanks enenra). Also likes making sure you're asleep before he even considers rest, it reassures him that you're safe. 100% not a morning person whatsoever, he hates getting up early.
♤ Cyrax
Cyrax's bedroom is a bit cluttered from blueprints for his projects or little prototypes of tech he's working on, but otherwise comfortable; these things are always out of the way though, it's sort of like a messy kind of organization (?).
Frequently switches between big spoon and little spoon (absolutely melts when he's little spoon), but loves resting his head on your chest to listen to your heartbeat; Cyrax also tends to move around a little bit when he sleeps, so don't feel alarmed when he strays away, he always finds his way back to you.
Very heavy sleeper, and not a morning person at all since he frequently stays up all night to work on weapons; sometimes he'll refuse to let you out of bed, smothering you with tired kisses while you laugh and try to wiggle away from him ("5 more minutes, I promise.")
♤ Sektor
Sektor's bedroom is fairly luxurious for an assassin (being the Grandmaster's son has its perks); it's a much larger room than other warriors have too, and it's in a more private spot at the temple away from the bunks.
Claims to be indifferent to cuddling with his S/O (he's lying, he thrives for it). He won't exactly be all cuddly, opting instead to sleep with your backs touching, but by the time your eyelids are drooping, Sektor's already moving closer to you, wrapping his arms around your frame. Loves it when you're pressed up against his side, with your head on his chest; big spoon mostly.
Morning person and a heavy sleeper, which is surprising; absolutely nothing can wake that man up and he's on a strict schedule too, so he's stubborn to go through with anything that messes with the balance; however, he makes exceptions for you. Will drag you back to bed if he wants.
♤ Hydro
Hydro's bedroom is extremely organized, there isn't a whole lot of belongings in there (besides his gear and other bare necessities) and it feels slightly chillier; he is technically a cryomancer after all.
Surprisingly big on affection; Hydro is a pretty tall and well-built man, so his appearance is off-putting to others but he'll become putty in your hands when you cuddle. Loves being little spoon, finds it adorable when you do, but otherwise you're curled up next to him since he doesn't want to smoosh you.
Hydro is a very busy man so he won't join you in bed at the same time most nights unfortunately, he loves crawling into bed next to you when he arrives back at the temple; also a light sleeper, but he'll hold you while you're asleep, it relaxes him knowing that you're there with him. Not a morning person either.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It all started during one of the first peace talks after the budding brotherhood of your Grandmaster, Kuai Liang (AKA Sub-Zero) and the Grandmaster of the Shirai Ryu.
Once the cease-fire between the clans was initiated, it was met with mixed results. The original Shirai Ryu were annihilated (including Hanzo's wife and child) by the forces of the previous Grandmaster, Bi-Han (whom everyone later discovered was actually the evil sorcerer Quan-Chi in disguise).
However it came to light that the initial fires of hatred that were lit were orchestrated by the Grandmaster before Bi-Han himself; before Bi-Han became the void-creature known as Noob Saibot, before Cyrax and Sektor were "cyberized".
All of course, with Quan-Chi's aid...
But when Kuai Liang and Hanzo Hasashi buried old prejudices and hatreds and pursued an avenue of peace and allyship, they proposed training scenarios between the ninjas.
You were one of Sub-Zero's top members. Your flexibility and cryomancy a deadly and graceful combination.
Naturally, at some point you found yourself pitted against your complete elemental opposite, Scorpion.
Not only was he your elemental opposite, he was vastly more skilled than you. Having spent years as a revenant under the control of Quan-Chi, training others in the way of the Shirai Ryu, working with Lord Raiden... Yeah. You were a child compared to his prowess.
But you however, did get some ideas for your own weaponry from him. Instead of a normal kunai attached to a chain, you settled for a chain with blunt ends, allowing your cryomancy to shape various weapons at the ends. After all, they'd been useful for making things like spears, scythes and various others in the past...
And to say the man was floored when you used his own techniques against him--and mastering them with your own twists while you were at it--was an understatement.
It became rather normal for Hanzo to seek you out for sparring sessions, seeking to experiment with your respective powers you both created various attacks and techniques to better battle one another.
However it was during one of your sessions, where you were to be chased and he the hunter, that the two of you finally figured out that what was between the two of you was more than camaraderie, more than diplomatic friendship.
Hanzo himself realized a lot sooner than you did. The warmth in his heart (and not from his flame) and the increased rate of beats when you were around, how his thoughts would drift back to you when it was quiet, when he would pace the Fire Gardens...
It was a feeling he hasn't felt since Harumi.
He was hesitant to bring it to your attention, for fear of a repeat performance of some cruel twist of fate robbing him of the one he loved once again.
He couldn't dare hope one as vibrant and beautiful as you could feel the same.
Until that night, when he had you pinned to the tree, breathing hard from the chase.
He barely had a moment to realize how close he was to you before masks were torn from faces by your hand and lips met lips in a kiss balanced in his hot and your cold; a kiss so passionate steam wafted as your mouths parted.
It was under the snow-heavy branches of that tree where your hands first explored each other. Not in heated sexual passion, but with the desire to map out every detail you could, so when the two of you parted ways again you would always be able to mentally trace those lines, commit them to memory like a well-read book.
Kuai Liang had suspicions of a budding relationship between the two of you. If anything, you had to wager that he probably knew your true feelings for one another even before the two of you figured it out for yourselves; but he wouldn't bring it forth. He knew you two needed to figure it out at your own pace.
After all, his friend was still nursing a broken heart from the loss of his wife and child. But he knew this was still good for him, for the two of you, for both clans.
Hanzo Hasashi had finally fallen in love again.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your first real "intimate" moment with Hanzo was when you showed him to the hot springs in the mountains. Heat, ice and snow all together in a blissful harmonious oasis.
Not unlike your love for one another, a peaceful respite in tumultuous times.
"This is... Beautiful." Hanzo said, his breath coming out of him in a cloud that swirled with the snowflakes. "But won't it still be too cold to bathe?"
You chuckled and pulled off your mask. Shaking your hair free of icy flakes. "Well, Hanzo, that's why the goal is to stay in the water. Where it's warm."
He blew out a chuckle and shook his head. "Obviously." He turned and looked around, the red leaves of the maple trees surrounding you casting a beautiful scattering of color among the white and gray.
"But it--"
His voice died in his throat as he watched you strip your uniform from your body.
You held no shame, clearly, as you stripped bare in front of him, your wonderous body on full display for his longing, hungry eyes.
You took pride in your athletic frame, muscles and soft curves in all the right places, your body a gorgeous shell for the violence you were capable of committing.
His dark eyes met yours, a twinkle dancing in their depths as your smile reached your ears. You beckon him towards you, your fingers curling in a silent request for him to come closer.
It is a silent request his body obeys before he realizes he's even moving, his blood rushing in his ears.
When your fingers wrapped around his tabards you begin undoing each bit of his ornamentation slowly, peeling it off of him like a juicy piece of fruit you couldn't wait to take a bite out of.
Maybe you would... later.
Once he was naked, you gave him enough dignity to spare looking between his legs, knowing he wouldn't be ready for you to look at him there just yet, you felt like he would set the very air ablaze; each snowflake that landed on his body melted with a soft hiss as it came into contact with his skin.
At first you were concerned that maybe he was too hot, that the spring might make him sick with the extra heat added to his body; but as you sank into the water, he didn't seem bothered in the slightest. In fact, his eyes continued to take your form as he thought you weren't looking.
Every scar told a story, and he wanted to hear them all, wanted to hear a symphony of your voices together as you breathed your love into one another s lungs as you shared scorching kisses.
You could have sat next to him. You could have.
But you didn't. As shameless as you were, you sank down in front of him between his parted knees, slowly, a soft noise escaping you as the water crept up your cold body and you pressed your back against his chest.
You pretended not to hear the sharp inhale of breath as his raging erection pressed firmly against your back, the heat from it almost hotter than the water you were reclining in.
You hummed softly as he slipped his arms around you, pressing a hot, damp kiss to your icy shoulder.
You'd swear he could probably leave burns with those lips of his.
"Hmm... How did your meeting with Lord Raiden go, Hanzo?" You ask him, sliding your hands up his thighs and to his knees, feeling the knotted muscles tighten and flex beneath your touch.
"Ah..." He said, his voice tight in an effort to control himself.
"It... Went well. Young Takeda was there, it was good to see him again."
"How is Takeda doing?"
"He's spending more time with his father, and I believe he and Jacqui Briggs are officially a couple." Hanzo chuckled.
"That's good, they're a nice match." You sigh, relaxing into him more, maybe, just slightly intentionally grinding your ass against his cock.
His arms tighten around you and he leans in, his lips at the shell of your ear.
"You're playing a dangerous game, my lotus." He growls.
"You know me... I live for danger." You purr, grinding against him once more.
He groaned in your ear and rolled his hips to meet yours.
"I have to ask..." Hanzo said, one of his rough and calloused hands rising to give your ribs a feathery touch.
"I'm experienced, don't worry." You assure him playfully.
"Good..."
Was that... disappointment you heard in his voice?
"Awww..." You reach back and comb through his ebony locks. "Hanzo... Are you sad you're not my first?"
"No..." He lied. "I'm merely content to know this will be fully enjoyable for you, then."
You gladly take a mental note and stow that information away for a later scenario you wanted to play out with him...
"Hanzo?"
"Hmm?"
You turn your head slightly and capture his mouth in an awkwardly-angled kiss, teeth and tongues grazing, nipping, and twining together in a passionate affair.
You lift your hips enough in the water so the head of his cock is squished between your thighs. You roll yourself against him, letting his cock stroke between your legs as you flex your muscles, gripping him as tight as possible.
"Agh... You truly live for danger, hm?" Hanzo groaned hotly in your ear. His hands kneaded your breasts, his fingers heating up as he pulled and twisted your nipples in time with the lazy rolling of your hips.
"Hanzo..." You keened softly.
"You need to stop." Hanzo said, gripping your hips, effectively stilling you.
You pout in protest, and look at him over your shoulder, waiting for an explanation.
Hanzo's tongue darts out to lick at a bead of water that rolls down your shoulder, and nips at the skin, there.
"When I finish, I want it to be inside you." He growled against your skin.
His voice and the way he was touching you sent a jolt of excitement racing up your spine.
"Yes." You breathe, your heart beginning to flutter in your chest like a flighty bird.
"Do you want me, my lotus?" Hanzo asked you. "Do you want me inside you?"
"By the Elder Gods, yes." You reply, your voice shaky but certain.
Hanzo quickly helped you up, turning you around so your breasts were squished against the rocks below you, your hands balling in the snow, ice creeping out from beneath your fingertips.
You eagerly spread your legs for him, water rolling off your body as his searing grip kneaded and squished the flesh of your ass, spreading your cheeks as his chest heaved while his eyes drank in your swollen and waiting sex and prone form.
"Hanzo, please?" You pant, pushing back into his grip.
His cock twitched at the sight of you, at the feel of your icy skin in his hands. Any normal person would be a shivering mess, being practically face down in the snow. But not you. You were Lin Kuei, a cryomancer.
His little ice lotus.
He gripped the base of his cock and took his time lining up, a small smile crinkling the corners of his eyes as you squirm impatiently.
He wasn't sure why, but something told him to raise his hand and slap your ass in a reprimand.
The squeak you made at first gave him the impression that he'd seriously hurt you, but when he noticed how demure you became, he chuckled softly.
"Behave, lotus. You must learn patience. It is a ninja's greatest asset." He said, his chest tightening as the tip of his cock slipped through your wet folds, the walls of your pussy gripping him in a greedy vice.
"Please, Hanzo..." You cried softly, trying to sink yourself deeper against him to sheathe his cock fully in the waiting velvet of your body.
Hanzo's hands prevented that, and it frustrated you, but your complaint died before it could form as he slowly eased himself inside, inch by torturous inch, until the tip of his cock just barely kissed your cervix.
He certainly had girth and length that was definitely going to make you see stars, tonight... His size complemented the roped muscles all throughout his body.
You make a deep, throaty moan as his weight settles into you, your muscles squeezing him down, trying to pull him deeper.
You feel the short coarse hairs that reached his navel brush the skin of your ass as he brought his hips firmly against yours.
He leaned in, kissing up your back and over your shoulder until his mouth was at your ear.
"How do you want me, love?"
"Fuck me hard. Please?"
He kissed your shoulder, biting down and sucking the skin, marking you as he pulled out and slammed his hips back in.
Your cries shook birds from the trees, the sensation of his balls slapping against your clit sending shivers up your spine, the pressure of his cock pounding you and pressing against that one divine spot within you, each drag of the vein running up his length driving you further and further into madness.
No other man you'd ever been with had been so precise or skilled in the art of sex.
Your previous partners were paltry compared to the sharp, angled thrust of Hanzo's hips, his cock cramming into you at such a harsh and heavy rate that you swore you were going to cum at any second, gushing around him, leaving a nice creamy ring at the base of his dick as he fucks into you like a man possessed.
He grips your shoulders and pulls you up against him, so your back is pressed against his chest.
His hands rise to your breasts, his fingertips almost glowing as he pinches your nipples, the soft mounds bouncing and jiggling in his hands with each upward thrust of his hips into yours.
"Hanzo!" You cried out, tossing your head back with a wail of ecstasy, your vision going cross as he brings one of his searing hands to your clit, rolling vigorously, the heat feeling like it set every nerve in your body alight with fire.
"Come for me." He softly commands.
And just like that, your body obeys him, clamping down, squeezing him, trying to mold yourself around him; commit his shape and size to memory so he and only he could ever fuck and satisfy you ever again.
He hisses out a breath, steam rising in waves off his body as he fucks up into you again, riding out your orgasm as he rapidly approaches his own.
Hanzo eases you back down, his hand sliding up your sweaty, chilly spine as he tips his head back, his lips parting in a moan as he cums, jerky thrusts and loud whimpers from you as his boiling hot load paints your insides a nice, pearly white, threatening to burn a hole right through you.
He lazily fucks you, some of his spend leaking out around him and dripping down your thighs as he rides out the blinding high that took over every range of his senses.
Once the two of you regain your breathing, he keeps you firmly seated on his cock as you both sink back into the water, relaxing as the heat soaks through your chilled core while Hanzo gently pours palm fulls of water on your skin, massaging your shoulders.
"Mmmh..." You sigh, relaxing against him as he kisses the top of your damp head.
"You seem content." He chuckled.
"Hanzo, I'm pretty sure you're going to have to carry me back home." You laugh. "Had I known what kind of weapon you were packing, I would have been just slightly more hesitant..."
"Only slightly, hm?"
"Just a bit." You murmur, kissing the knuckles of one of his hands.
Hanzo grins and plants a kiss over the bruise he'd left on your skin.
"You will get used to it, my lotus."

Hi there! So if your uncomfortable with doing this request, it’s no worry at all. But if you aren’t, I was wondering if you could do a reader with ADHD x Bi-Han? Especially one that is very forgetful and struggles with that part of themself? Maybe first impressions? Look forward to seeing more of your work!
Bi-Han with an S/O who has ADHD
Warnings: Spoilers for Bi-Han's Tower Ending! Otherwise it is just fluff, I do not have ADHD so I "consulted with the Elder Gods" (my friend), so these are mostly based off of her! Gender neutral reader
Shoutout to my bestie for helping me write this(she basically wrote the whole thing I just edited it and added more onto it) she's a real one🤞🏾. Thank you for enjoying my writings!
• So Bi-Han at first will probably get easily irritated
• We all know how Bi-Han is
• You cut him off while he's talking?
• He's giving you a glare
• You forget something simple or move on with a task before it is complete?
• He let's out the most annoyed sigh, but he will redirect you to what was supposed to be done
• That is in the beginning though
• Explain to him why these things happen, how you are trying your best and aren't ignoring him or just slacking off
• It will take him a while, but, he will begin to understand
• Now if you are with him in important Lin Kuei meetings, and you wish to say something while he is speaking, all you need to do is tap his arm
• He'll understand
• Though he may still let out a small sigh
• Your input is always important to him, your insight a valued one, much like Cyrax and Sektor
• Which leads to another point
• If you are doing a task on your own, sometimes you might leave before it is complete, moving on to something else that catches your attention
• Bi-Han often watches you as you work for this reason, not hovering, but, keeping a watchful eye
• Think of the scene where he is watching Sektor work on the Cyber Lin Kuei in his tower ending
• He'll guide you back in the right direction, reminding you to finish fully before moving on to something else
▪︎"Not yet."
▪︎"What's wrong?"
▪︎"It is not finished, do not move on."
• He's a little rough, but he's got the spirit
• Whenever you successfully complete a task by yourself, and nobody is nearby, you are graced with a kiss on the head and met with a proud gleam in his eyes
• (Bi-Han may bring you up as a role model to Lin Kuei initiates, if you feel comfortable with it)
▪︎ "They are among the best of the Lin Kuei, it will do you well to be like them."
• If you ever have emotional outbursts, Bi-Han is there to listen
• He may grow visibly agitated, but he will not open his mouth, he does not want things to escalate
• Bi-Han never wants to fight with you, after all
• Instead, he'll swallow down his comebacks, and instead open his arms for you
• His embrace is sure, steadfast, you know he is always there for you to rely on
• Once you've spoken on everything you'd felt the need to, he does not make a big show of things
• Instead, he kind of acts like nothing happened
▪︎ "Alright, you can let go now."
▪︎ "So, Sektor has made some advancements in his work."
▪︎ "Huh?"
▪︎ "Walk with me to take a look."
▪︎ "O-okay."
• He used to get irritated when he had to repeat the same things to you over and over again
• Though, he doesn't get irritated anymore
• Instead, he gives you reminders
• His most used one is leaving you a letter, he usually gets up and out of bed a while before you do
• A mix of Grandmaster activities and also because Bi-Han likes to "always be prepared"
• Though he also gives reminders before bed
• When you both are comfortable, his arms snug around your waist, he will remind you of the activities of the day to come
• With a small kiss on your head to close the message

Bi-Han’s IKEA Adventure
Pairing: Bi-Han x gender neutral!reader
Rating: Teen Plus? Mature? (suggestive themes and lots of swears, no smut)
Summary: You and Bi-Han go to IKEA to replace a broken desk, unfortunately for you, you get lost and have to wait for Sub-Zero to rescue you.
Author Notes: “qīn” is Mandarin for bae/babe and is my stand in for “y/n”, you don’t have to read it but you’ll notice little things if you’ve read Earning Your Keep. Gouta is my name I made up for Cyrax it means golden. This one is dumb and silly but I spent too much time watching videos of walkthroughs of the IKEA in Harbin so hopefully it matches up. I haven’t been to an IKEA in quite sometime so please enjoy it with a grain of salt lol. As always please like, comment and reblog if you enjoyed it. Hope you lovelies enjoy!
“We get in, we get out, no getting distracted by kitchenwares or baby shit you understand me qīn? We’re here for a new desk for my study, nothing else,” Bi-Han grips your shoulders and goes through his game plan with the calculated precision that came from years of being the Lin Kuei’s Grandmaster.
“New desk and baby shit, got it,” you reply your eyes sparkling with mischief.
“No. No! No baby shit, just a desk!” He repeats sternly, his brows furrowing into an unpleasant grimace.
“Ok, ok,” you wave him off and shrug out of his grip to grab a trolly and bag to attach to it, “to carry the desk,” you cut him off before the cryomancer can question you.
“Ok, good. Let’s do this,” he takes a deep breath and an employee gives him an odd look as the air around him condenses and little snowflakes fall from his exhalation.
Bi-Han did not like IKEA, a fact you were well aware of but being in remote China left you with few choices when it came to getting new furniture. Your options were to wait months for a master craftsman to carve a new desk for Bi-Han or as you suggested make the pilgrimage to the IKEA in Harbin. The cryomancer reluctantly chose the latter as it was nearly impossible to go through all of his paperwork in just a chair. You just hoped whatever you found at the store was sturdier than his old desk which could not withstand the Grandmaster’s might, you bit your bottom lip as you thought back to the events that broke the desk in the first place. The force and might he had taken you on the seemingly sturdy wooden desk passed down for generations had been no match for Bi-Han’s vigor.
“Qīn, qīn, hello? Are you even paying attention? You’re blocking the walkway,” Bi-Han frowns and wrestles the trolly away from you.
You flush as you come back to the present, “s-sorry I was thinking about something else.” The dull ache between your legs reminds of the way he had held you down, the way he had thrust into you so deeply, the way he absolutely claimed you as his own. You lick your lips subconsciously and trot after the cryomancer as the two of you wind through the immaculately decorated faux rooms.
Bi-Han stops once you reach a room that looks like it has a suitable steel framed desk, “u-utespel-utespelare? Who the fuck came up with this shit?” The cryomancer asks no one in particular as he pulls out his smartphone to snap a picture of that tag. “What do you think about this one qīn?” He asks leaning on the desk to see if it was capable of holding his weight.
“Do you want the Hemler too?” You ask gesturing to the matching chair, chuckling at the cryomancer’s inability to pronounce the Swedish designs.
Bi-Han raises an eyebrow as he smirks, “did we break the chair too?” He asks teasingly, snaking an arm around your waist and dropping a chilly kiss against the nape of your neck.
You shiver from the cold, “first of all, there was no we, you, you broke the desk, you pounded into me so hard I still ache,” you spin around to accuse him. “Your father is probably spinning in his grave, that was an antique passed down for generations,” you continue as start looking at the desk nicknacks and other tchotchkes.
“Let him spin, he deserves no peace,” Bi-Han snarls and throws a plush polar bear into the bag. He lets out a frustrated growl as he remembers the other reason he agreed to go to this cursed store, “fuck me, we need more cups. Tomas was tinkering around with his grenades again and blew up one of the cupboards in the kitchen.”
You blink at him, unfazed at his sudden aggression brought on by the mention of his father, “is that what that noise was? I thought it was Gouta fucking one of the maids in the kitchen again.”
Bi-Han narrows his icy eyes, “no, he got in deep shit for that, he knows better than to try that again.”
“You’re awfully hypocritical for someone who fucks their lover on any surface they can,” you counter throwing a stuffed dinosaur into the bright yellow bag.
“First of all, I’m the Grandmaster, I can do whatever the fuck I want, where ever the fuck I want. Second of all, I don’t want to eat jizz,” he scowls at the idea.
You burst into laughter before shushing him, “keep it down polar bear, you’re scaring the employees.” You chastise as you receive a bewildered expression from one of the IKEA staff members.
He rolls his eyes, “even if they speak English, I doubt they understand the word jizz qīn, this is still China, or did you forget?”
You sigh, hating it when he was right, “we’re not accomplishing anything, why don’t you go to the warehouse and get your utespelare and I’ll go to the kitchenwares section and pick out replacements for Tomas’ accident.”
“I don’t like the idea of leaving you in this store unsupervised, you’ll spend the entire treasury,” the cryomancer grumbles.
You swat at his well-defined pecs, “so what if I do, you’re a thief, just steal more.”
“I’m not a petty thief, I’m a highly skilled, trained professional,” Bi-Han sulks as you reach the escalators to take you up to the kitchenwares and further on up to the warehouse.
“Shit,” you sigh as you pull out your phone only to realize it’s dead. “Ok look Polar Bear my phone is dead but I’ll meet you at the cafe in 20 minutes ok?”
“I’m not eating their shitty meatballs or fucking lingonberries,” Bi-Han states making a disgusted face.
You shake your head and laugh, “no meatballs or lingonberries I promise, we just need somewhere to rendezvous.” You stand on your tip toes to press a kiss to his cheek as you take the trolly back from him, “I need it more than you do. You’re big and strong and can carry the desk easily.”
“Cafe, 20 mins,” Bi-Han confirms as he steps onto the escalator to head to the warehouse. Bi-Han easily locates his utespelare and checks out with relative ease before settling down to wait in the cafe.
You wander through the kitchenware section buying more than just the cups you needed, you couldn’t help it though, everything at the Lin Kuei Temple was so old. You were honestly shocked that they had electricity and silently thanked Papa Zero for seeing the value in modernizing and improving the living conditions. You enjoyed cooking even though there were maids at the temple to take care of everyday needs. You grab a new sauté pan and a couple of cute hot mitts before finally filling the cart with nonbreakable mugs and regular drinking cups. Without your phone you don’t realize how long has passed and continue to browse for goods you had no need for, “hmmm do we need a cactus? Probably not, Bi-Han would probably freeze it,” you mumble to yourself as you browse the houseplants. Eventually, you find yourself completely turned around and lost somewhere in between the throw pillows and lighting fixtures getting distracted by star-shaped lamps.
You look around and hunt for an employee to ask your way but can’t seem to find anyone, you look down to try and follow the tape arrows on the floor but much to your dismay there were none to be found. You try to trace your way back through the nonstop isles of displays but in the endless sea of rosenkärm, there appeared to be no exit in sight. “Heh heh heh shit,” you hiss under your breath.
30 minutes had gone past and Bi-Han was still waiting alone in the cafe, he checked his phone before belatedly realizing yours was dead and you probably were unaware how much time had actually passed so he decided to give you a few more minutes. He sighed and waited impatiently, 15 more minutes passed and still no sign of you, he hefted the heavy desk onto his shoulders before approaching one of the ideal cashiers. “I’ve lost my partner can you please page them for me,” Bi-Han reluctantly asks the employee in Chinese. “Their name is y/n but their Chinese isn’t very good, is it possible to page them in English?” He flashes the cashier his best convincing smile.
You freeze when you hear the page come over the loudspeaker and groan, “I know where you are Bi-Han, I don’t know where I am!” You let out a frustrated grunt and punch a pillow next to you before making an arbitrary left at the canning supplies. You’re led into a maze of bedding and start to feel anxious and overwhelmed, your breath quickens and your eyes dart around frantically searching for anyone. You still can’t find an employee but do manage to see a nice-looking couple so you approach them and in your broken Chinese make a gesture for going up an escalator, “zì-zìdòng f-fútī?”
They give you a bewildered look and exchange a few words and glances before gesturing behind you. You give them a hurried thanks before rushing off in the direction they pointed you to but much to your dismay you found yourself back in the kitchenwares. “You have got to be kidding me,” you sigh and try and think how you got to the kitchenwares the first time around so you could work your way back to the escalator.
Bi-Han paces back and forth by the registers growing more and more concerned, “can I leave this with you?” He asks the cashier and gestures to his utespelare. The poor cornered cashier nod’s reluctantly as Bi-Han sets the heavy desk down and begins his hunt for you. It takes a while for a Bi-Han to get back to the entrance what with IKEA being a veritable maze he decided the fastest way was to exit the store and go back to the original entrance. He shoulders past the casual families gawking and lounging around the faux living rooms set on his rescue mission.
You decide to stay where you were for the moment, not wanting to get more lost than you already were. “Sooner or later he’ll come find me,” you reassure yourself, you absently fiddle with a ladle that resembles a brontosaurus before shrugging and throwing it in the bag attached to the trolly. “I wonder if we need anything else,” you think out loud as you continue to peruse the myriad of utensils.
Bi-Han weaves in and out of the fellow patrons until he comes across the escalators, he prompts goes up one floor, and locates the directory. It doesn’t take him long to locate kitchenwares on the vertical post as he makes his way through the confusing aisles of condiments and pantry staples. Having been raised to be a master of the deadly arts Bi-Han would have been able to track you easily if you weren’t in a giant furniture store. If you were in the forest he could look for footprints or broken branches but since he was in an IKEA he kept his eyes focused on anything that might have caught your attention.
You look around the aisle more as you feel a dip in the temperature, at first you assume it’s the air conditioning but soon you’re able to see the tall cryomancer standing well above the other patrons. “Bi-Han!” You call out excitedly and start waving like a crazy person. You stay put though terrified you’ll somehow get lost between here and the ten feet away he is, and in your defense, there were an awful lot of home goods in the way.
His long strides quickly close the gap and his strong cold hands grip your shoulders, “qīn! You’re still looking at kitchenwares?! Do you know how long it’s been? How worried I’ve been?” Bi-Han berates you before getting worked up and going on a tangent in his native tongue.
From what you can tell he’s feeling a mixture of disappointment, relief, and annoyance. You can’t help but burst into tears and cling to him, “I got lost! I haven’t been here the whole time I’ve been adrift in a sea of fucking interior design! How many sheepskin rugs does this country need?!” You feel silly for crying and clinging to Bi-Han in public like this but it was a rarity the two of you got to be a normal couple and you had been an anxious mess since you got disoriented. You sniffle and try not to make too much of a mess of the cryomancer’s shirt.
Bi-Han holds you at arm’s length, blinks a few times as if he was dumbfounded, “you got lost? How? Qīn, there are signs everywhere…” The cryomancer gestures to one of the structural columns with signs posted on them.
You look at him incredulously, “it’s in Chinese! I don’t know how to read escalator! I can barely remember the word for it! I managed to ask a couple but ended up back in the damn kitchenware section.” You huff at him before stomping a foot in protest.
“I uh, huh. I guess they are,” he replies sheepishly, color creeping onto the cryomancer’s cheeks as he adverts his eyes. Bi-Han grabs your hand and the trolly and steers you back to the escalator. “I’m not letting go of you ever, I’m going to get one of those animal backpacks with the leashes for you I swear,” he grumbles as the two of you make your way to the registers. Bi-Han starts unpacking the bag and starts looking through all the unnecessary things you added, he sighs and shakes his head but doesn’t say anything deciding you had been through enough for the day. He keeps his hand wrapped around yours the whole time earning yet another bewildered gaze from the traumatized cashier Bi-Han had been chatting up earlier.
You giggle as the cryomancer refuses to let go of your hand thinking that maybe getting lost in IKEA wasn’t the worst way to spend the weekend. You can’t help but admire the way his biceps bulge and flex as he puts the goods back in the bag after getting the receipt. “Where’s the desk,” you ask him looking around as you two head towards the exit.
“Fuck. Don’t move,” he orders as he reluctantly lets go of your hand and goes back to the poor cashier to retrieve the whole reason they made this trip in the first place. The two of you make it back to the car before Bi-Han opens the door and buckles you in before loading up the back of the car with your purchases. He gets into the driver's seat and looks over at you as you plug your phone into the car charger. “Don’t do that to me again,” he whispers before he leans over to press a soft, cold kiss against your lips.
You grab his hand and weave your fingers in with his and sigh contently as you settle in for the long drive back to the Lin Kuei Temple.

Most people hate that bi han is a cold hardass bastard, but I disagree cause i just don't wanna him be redeemed by sareena or frost or anyone lol. Cause let's be real, all those bireena crumbs and the girl cyrax "leaks" are just people reaching and projecting.
I read bihan x reader a lot, but even I dont project myself onto a savior type character in ship dynamics cause I ain't a bob the builder and I'm not gonna start imagining myself as one
Haha
I know what u mean!
When I said once that I was never really into ships, I was being real. Even though the first ship that I got interested was NoobSmoke/Bitomas because of some games and fanfictions on fanfiction.net, the most I did was leaving likes. I'm new at creating content and such. And I usually just like ships that makes sense to me, but I never mind about others...
If I don't like something, I just keep rolling the page. And I honestly don't understand why is it so hard for some people here...
At first, I thought that "I can fix him or someone else can fix him" was a meme LoL, but some people here and there are taking it seriously. LoL
Honestly, I like Bi-Han in Mk1 too, I like him a lot. And I don't see why some people think that he's unrecognisable just because he is ambitious now. Like, c'mon, where was he grandmaster before?
I think it's just natural that he would be more ambitious than ever before.
The only constant about Bi-Han -- that any mk fan knows -- is his ruthless attitude toward his enemies, arrogant behavior and loyalty to the Lin Kuei. I don't think nrs writers went too far on him. I like leaks because he's not going to be a jobber like, unfortunately, Noob was in most of games.
Like, the guy is the best Lin Kuei in every timelines! Why was he so many times wasted like that?
I'm glad that he will be like an anti-hero. But I'm even more happy for Liu Kang's words and I'm expecting that this means they ain't gonna change him, just bring him smarter next game.

Cyrax and Affection HCs
Tumblr media
There isn’t enough Cyrax in our lives as a collective, I offer fluff to fix that! These are of course, my own ideas on how Cyrax is, specifically with PDA and being an overzealous donut---all intepretation is of course subjective--I just love him so much 💕
At first glance, Cyrax seems much like the other Lin Kuei; stern, ruthless, loyal and dangerous. But when he sees you for the first time, and you in turn notice him staring, he smiles and offers you a small wave. It earned him a punch to the chin as he had been sparring at the time.
The first time he talked to you alone, he was excited, leaning perhaps a bit too close as he asked for your name, where you worked in the compound, anything he can think of. His excitement is infectious, but you have to remind him of how close he is when your toes are touching and he’s accidentally caging you against a wall. He apologized for that for a few days. Nonstop.
He doesn’t seem to notice how much he touches you, nor does he change that behavior when he’s around the others. He is happily uncaring when he takes your elbow to show you something, pushes your hair behind your ears when it’s messy, and all the while Sektor is behind him scowling at you. Sometimes you think Cyrax doesn’t realize how much his closeness gets you into trouble.
The first time he holds your hand it’s without a thought, his affection for you was never hidden, so he easily locked fingers with you as he walked with you to your wing of the Lin Kuei compound at the end of the day. You mentioned it was in the opposite direction of his own and he simply grinned and looked anywhere but at you, squeezing your hand just a bit tighter.
Your first kiss was chaste, you thought he was leaning in to kiss your lips but he suddenly angled to the side and kissed your cheek, asking you softly if you’d allow him to court you. How did you manage to be so blessed with this gentleman?
When you decide to kiss him on his big, dumb grin and tell him yes, please court you, he lifts you up off the ground into the biggest bear hug you’ve ever been given. It knocks the breath out of you and he couldn’t help the look of adoration plasterd all over his face. He at least had enough awareness to put you down when someone joined you in the hallway and caught you both.
Your first real kiss was fueled by genuine affection as well…
It had been months of Cyrax’s attention, as sweet and honest as it was, and you had no idea what to expect when he had asked you to join him one night at one of the ‘secret spots’. It was secret in that he shared the tranquil forest clearing with his Lin Kuei brothers and not a lot of the janitorial staff and servants knew of it. They would train there, eat together there and now—Cyrax wanted you there too. Knowing the man and all the grand gestures he liked to give, this was subtle but meant so much to you, you weren’t sure you’d ever be able to express just how much to him. But you’d try.
As you gently picked your way down the steep incline, grabbing onto the sparse bits of sapling evergreens that littered the landscape, you hoped that he’d at least told his brothers that you were going to be there, you didn’t relish the look that Sektor often pinned you with—blaming you entirely for Cyrax’s affections. You thought you heard something ahead and looked up to see if you could sight Cyrax’s telltale yellow through the trees, that was all it took for you to lose your footing and slide down the slope on your backside. You squeezed your eyes shut and tucked your head down behind your balled up fists, accepting your fate and merely hoping you wouldn’t get too beat up, but the world came to a sudden stop and the pain you were anticipating never came.
When you finally peeled your eyes open, you were met with the concerned face of Cyrax. He had heard you clumsily marching through the trees long before you’d spotted him, and waited for you patiently until he’d heard your yelp, he had come running and managed to get to you before you met the thicketed bottom of the slope. Your clothes were wet now, and a little muddy from your fall--you were tense in his arms until you’d opened your eyes and looked up at him with this expression of awe that made his stomach twist up in warm, wiggling knots. When your face flushed with embarrassment and you ducked your head down to hide from him, he smiled and chased after your cheek with his lips--nuzzling into you as he managed to pull a soft laugh from your lips. “Nooo, don’t--don’t look at me.”
You got him to laugh with your meek whimpering, “I can’t help it, how on Earth did you manage to tumble down two-feet of even ground?” You popped him on the shoulder with the flat of your palm, soft and painless it merely got him to pull back from where he’d buried his face into the nook of your neck--laughing as he moved his head to avoid your little hands smacking at whatever you could reach. “Even? It is slippery and steep! I’m not a trained assassin you know!” He pulled you up to your feet, smiling at your pout--though that pout swiftly changed to shyness as he held you in place by the small of your back--both of his large hands wrapped around your waist. You weren’t truly mad anyway, so you let go of your exasperation in favor of looking off to the trees. “It’s not nice to tease, Cyrax.”
“Felix.”
You whipped your head up to look at him so fast you were sure you got whiplash, your eyes wide as you stared in bald confusion. He grinned, tilting his head to the side to better view your soft features, “My name, when we are alone I’d like you to call me Felix.” You had honestly never assumed you would ever know his given name, content to call him by his moniker as that intimate detail never influenced the time you spent together. Your heart ached with the newfound knowledge anyway. “Felix.” The hands on your waist twitched a fraction, and his eyes warmed as he leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to your lips, pulling you to him tightly as words left him. Hearing you say his name filled him with an overwhelming sense of longing. Your hands moved to his chest, gripping at him tightly--you’d been waiting for this kiss for so long--your world at that moment narrowed down to that soft contact.
When you pulled back he did not let you go, wanting the moment with you pressed close to him to last for as long as he could manage it. His forehead pressed to yours, he smiled and sighed out his affection. “Say it again?”
It was your turn to grin as you tilted your head back a fraction to ghost your mouth over his, inviting him to kiss you again as you whispered his name.
