I'd love more merchandise of Agravain. Along with him as a servant in Fate Grand Order, of course! For now, the Coco's stand is awesome.

the intricate parallels between bedivere and laz are somethign that no one else could ever understand
I  am just thinking about like.
Catholic brain damaged bedivere who seems so frighteningly afraid of death, yet longing for it, believing he’s sinned so horribly that nothing, nothing, nothing could ever make up for it, even after 1500 years. Believing he’s just a forever horrible person, yet still trying and *wanting* to do good, despite believing he’s not good. How readily he goes up against the knight servants despite being Just a man, against all these supernatural powerhouses. And even before all the fgo stuff he was a knight! He did all sorts of great things but in his mind, that’s not enough. The only true punishment he can receive, is dying after returning the sword to Arthur, and hopefully that will be enough repentance.
Vs
Lapsed catholic Laz who’s always been a bit lost in his own life. He’s never done anything spectacular nor horrible prior to the chaldea explosion leading to him being the only one who can fix the singularities (this too, he believes, is a fluke and overstating his role, he’s not the one out there fighting, therefore, he’s just dead weight). The adjustment from ‘dude who mops floors’ to ‘dude who has to keep humanity from dying’ is all but nonexistent for him, and he’s Just a man trying to handle all this pressure that he’s never had before. He’s never *needed* to be noble or powerful, he just went through life miserable but kind, wishing that there was *something* in his life that he could point at and say “right here. This is why im like this. This is why i’m hurting. This is why i can’t handle any of this”.
idk if any of these words make sense or are like Good im just thining about itjfdskfds

Seasons of the Mist... With a Twist.
(The little flat above the New Inn, London)
Hob: Dream! I wasn't expecting you back so soo...
Dream: I would ask for your aid Hob Gadling.
Hob: Ofcourse, anything I can do to help. You know that.
Dream: What I request is beyond a simple task, it will ask much if you.
Hob: It doesn't matter! Any way I can be of service. Consider it done.
Dream: Very well, hold out your hand....I entrust you with this. For there is no other in which I place more faith, not to use it for their own betterment or anothers detriment.
Hob: A key? I'll keep it safe for you, you have my word!
Dream: Indeed. May you be a hope to the damned, a caution to the wicked... And a reminder to the divine.
Hob: Errr.... Ofcourse. You can count on me!
Later that evening....
(Hob returns home from a bar shift to find a.. Guest...Waiting for him.)
Hob: Holy Satan on a spit!
Dagon: Good evening your Infernal Highness.
Hob: What in Saint Peters balls!?
Dagon: My name is Dagon my liege, I await your commands.
Hob: Commands?
Dagon: For your realm my most Heinous Majesty.
Hob: ... Realm?
Dagon: The Great Pit, Gods Couldren.. The Infernal Abyss... Hell, your Abominable Eminence.
Hob: (Takes a minute to have a minor internal, hysterical breakdown) Right... I'll get the kettle on.
Three hours later... Hob holding court round his kitchen table.
Hob: And that is why a new administrative body to oversee the right of appeal is essential.
Dagon: Very good my most Insidious Master.
Hob: Repetance and reform, that's our new mantra with the outer circles.
Dagon: Indeed my most Reprehensible Lord.
Hob: (Hears a commotion kicking off in the living room.) Hang on a minute.... Paimon, Hastur... I swear if you two are fighting over the remote again!
(The sounds of muffled bickering) Appoligies Sire!
Hob: Good, right Beelzebub, let's talk about how we can make things infinitely worse for the really nasty buggers.
Somewhere in the depths of Space and Time. A meeting of the Endless siblings...
Dream: I would like to announce the Dreaming will be formally allying itself with Hell. I trust this will... Dissuade any further notions some may have of interfering in my affairs.
Desire: Oh, you think you're just too clever don't you?!
Dream: (Smirks in, why yes I do actually).

Mashle X Magi
Based off of @elvestoneanzelote1's post :D
Approaching from the eastern continent was a curious creature named y/n. Known as a magi, they wander the lands aimlessly in search of something more fascinating that catches their eyes. 'Perhaps another nation?' They think to themselves, riding their broom and gliding gracefully in the wind to wherever fate decided to take them for their adventure. However...
"You are hereby under arrest for suspicion of being lackmagic by the state."
Ah...
What an unpleasant first entrance to this new realm.
***
The first thing y/n notes is that there are strange markings on everyone's face, one that they themselves lacked. The architecture here was different than the one they knew. With buildings made from brick and plaster as opposed to the stone and gravel from their original home. Streets paved from stone as opposed to the sandy terrain, wooden doors that aligned their entrances as opposed to curtains and golden rods. It seemed like everything was different here. And despite y/n's best efforts, they couldn't help but feel oppressed despite their immense capabilities of magic and manipulating their magoi to an extreme extent. For one so beloved by the rukh, the people here certainly didn't think so even as the magical energy around them became visible to the naked eye with their mere presence. But such differences in culture was something y/n had grown to love in their various travels across the lands. Well...maybe except for their current situation.
"Lackmagics are illegal in this country foreigner." The officer in front of them states sternly with a certain gruff to her voice. Y/n couldn't help but be appalled at the accusation, placing a gentle hand over their chest with an uneasy expression.
"...But I *am* capable of magic."
"It would do you well not to tell such an obvious lie traveler."
The rukh fluctuates from around y/n in response to their growing concern. They tilt their head in confusion, wondering if a simple demonstration would help, but felt threatened enough to refrain from doing so. The pair sit in silence as each tries to come up with something to say to the other before the door opens gently, revealing a brunette man with a green robe. The clothing is rather unfamiliar to y/n, but with his refined attitude, he must be someone in a position of power.
"Lackmagics are to be purged, there shouldn't be any debate here. What are you doing wasting time on an interrogation?" The man says, adjusting his round glasses to sit properly on his face. Y/n sighs in despair as the rukh seemingly fluctuates once more, accumulating as if to protect our dear magi, who seems to have lost themselves in a foreign realm. Only then do the pair manage to see small flickerings of light coming into their view as the rukh around y/n in response to their weak protests, finding themselves too hungry and in despair at the situation at hand.
"W-What...is that?" The officer questions as she stares in shock and disbelief.
"Hm?" Y/n inquires before looking around them and taking notice of how the rukh is behaving around them. The man in the green robe hums, taking in the sight before y/n quickly dispels their magoi output and the rukh disappear from their sights.
"In my country, we call it the rukh. I am known as a magi, one who beloved by the rukh."
The two look at y/n with intrigue before the man takes a seat from across the table, crossing his arms and leaning back in his chair.
"Perhaps we were too hasty in our judgement. My name is Orter Madl, Divine Visionary, the Desert Cane. Please, continue...Magi."

Writing Notes: Divination (pt. 2)
Tumblr media
The Sorceress by John William Waterhouse (1913, oil on canvas)
Divining the Future:
It seems humans have for a very long time been troubled by the opacity of the future. They'd like to have a better sense of what lies ahead, and they've come up with some ingenious ways of trying to get at that information, each of which has a name.
The suffix -mancy means "divination." Divination is the art or practice that seeks to foresee or foretell future events, or to discover hidden knowledge. Divination usually involves the interpretation of omens or, if you're really lucky, the assistance of supernatural powers.
Chiromancy -> divination by examination of the hand Also: cheiromancy. It's a synonym of the more common word palmistry. Chiromancy has fallen in and out of favor over the millennia of its history. In Medieval times, those hunting witches using chiromancy looked for pigmentation spots on the hands, which signaled a pact with the Devil.
Cleromancy -> divination by means of casting lots Cast here means "throw" or "toss." Lots are objects—such as marked sticks or dice—used as a counter when determining a question of chance. In cleromancy, the lots are thrown and where and how they land provide clues about the future. If you use dice, you can refer to your particular kind of cleromancy as cubomancy.
Dactyliomancy -> divination by means of finger rings In one form of dactyliomancy, a ring is suspended by a fine thread over a round table marked with the letters of the alphabet. In its dangling state, the ring settles briefly over particular letters, spelling out a message. Dactyl- means "finger," "toe," or "digit."
Geomancy -> divination by means of figures or lines or geographic features Take a piece of paper and a pencil and make a whole bunch of dots on it. If you believe in geomancy (and if you've done the dot-and-pencil work right) you may find that answers to your questions and predictions about the future lie somewhere in the configuration of those dots. To try an older version of geomancy, throw some dirt down and find information about the future in where the particles land. The term also refers to divination by geographical features.
Gyromancy -> divination in which one walking in or around a circle falls from dizziness and prognosticates from the place of the fall The gyro- in this word is the same gyro- in gyroscope. It means "ring, spiral, circle."
Hydromancy -> divination by water or other liquid (as by visions seen therein or the ebb and flow of tides) This can be similar to catoptromancy—when it is a reflection that interests the reader—or it can have to do with the movement of water, either the water's own movement, or the way the water moves objects floating on it.
Lecanomancy -> divination by inspection of water in a basin The water inspected in lecanomancy may have stones tossed into it, or oil mixed into it. The word comes from the Greek lekanē, meaning "basin."
Lithomancy -> divination by stones or by charms or talismans of stone Lith- means "stone." In lithomancy, the stones are typically specially chosen stones, and are sometimes semiprecious (i.e., denoting minerals which can be used as gems but are considered to be less valuable than precious stones). Qualities of the stones are important in lithomancy, such as how reflective of light they are.
Necromancy -> conjuration of the spirits of the dead for purposes of magically revealing the future or influencing the course of events Phrased less delicately than this definition, necromancy is divination by the dead. The word is also used to broadly refer to magic or sorcery. Necro- means "one that is dead" or "those that are dead." Necromancy should not be confused with sciomancy, which is divination by consulting the disembodied spirits of the dead.
Oneiromancy -> divination by means of dreams Dreams can seem like messages from some other realm, and oneiromancy asserts that they indeed are that. The Bible's book of Genesis tells of Joseph's oneiromancy skills; he explains that Pharaoh's dreams of fat and lean cattle, and full and thin heads of grain, predict of years of plenty to be followed by years of famine.

I was playing World Tour and for some reason I never really put too much thought into my Avatar's voice, and who the ENG VA was.
And it got me thinking about the other Avatar's voices that made an appearance, and who they were. Surprisingly, I have heard the Eng VAs in different medias before.

Deity Drop 6: Daclau-Sar
We’re back with more deities, and we’re starting off with another lesser divinity in the form of our first nascent demon lord!
With extremely rare exceptions, demon lords do not emerge fully-formed from the Abyss. Usually, such paragons of evil arise over time, though the starting point may vary. Some demons spend millenia rising through the ranks of their kind, while some mortal souls were so wicked that they immediately ascended to nascent status immediately upon entering the abyss.
No matter where they start, however, nascent demon lords have become powerful enough to take on a unique form separate from the rank and file of demonkind. Such a form may be influenced by who they were in life, or the circumstances of their ascension or the forms of evil they favored. However, they are not quite as powerful as true demon lords, and not strong enough claim an abyssal realm of their own. Instead, they lurk in semi-private corners of individual layers of the abyss, including those ruled by true demon lords, whom they live in concealed fear of, hoping to grow in power enough to ascend before they decide that the newcomer is a threat to their power.
In any case, that brings us to today’s subject: Daclau-Sar, the Lord of Carrion!
Long ago, the demon lord Lamashtu tricked the god Curchanus into a trap and slew him, taking his dominion over beasts, an act which fueled her ascension into true, terrible godhood, leaving the slain deity’s carcass to rot.
From his defiled corpse, however, arose a new demon-lord-to-be in the form of Daclau-Sar, the patron of carrion, the scavengers that feed on it, and the defilement of corpses. However, unlike other demons of his status, he has no interest in subtlety or politics, and if he has any plans of ascending to become a demon lord in his own right, it is through the gradual process of continuing to indulge in his foul hungers and gather worshippers until he accumulates enough sinful power to do so.
While not spawned by Lamashtu, Daclau-Sar has an appearance befitting the Mother of Monster’s progeny, resembling a six-legged hyena with two heads and a pair of vulture’s wings on his back.
As mentioned above, Daclau-Sar has no realm of his own, and instead dwells in the Xorian Mountains, a region on the border of Lamashtu’s realm of Kurnugia, where he rules over the lesser monsters there and feasts upon their slain.
Like all of his power level, Daclau-Sar has few worshippers, but he does have notable followings among some remote tribes of the orcs in the Holds of Belkzen, who emulate their Lord of Carrion by picking battlefields of corpses for use as trophies, as materials for undead war-beasts, or as the main course in their rot-blighted feasts. It is likely they and other such worshippers believe they gain some power over death by utilizing mortal remains, as well as demonstrating their right to survive by consuming those who failed to.
As a nascent demon lord, Daclau-Sar doesn’t quite move in the circles to have a lot of relationships with other powers, not that he has much interest in other powers unless they get between him and a meal, or look like they’d be appetizing once bloated and rotting to perfection. It can be assumed, however, that he has a wary fearful respect for true demon lords and deities, especially Lamashtu, and does not care to know or learn about non-evil entities beyond their role at the dinner table.
High in the Xorian Mountains, the Lord of Carrion rules over a petty court of monsters and lesser demons on the outskirts of Lamashtu’s territory, though calling it a court gives it far too much credit. In truth, Daclau-Sar makes the rounds bullying the other denizens of his territory, giving them full knowledge that he will devour their corpses when they are dead, and that will be very soon if they do not obey. Only the knowledge that his target is a servant of the Mother of Monsters might give him pause, the emphasis being on “might”.
As a creature barely above a beast himself, it only makes sense that Daclau-Sar favors the Animal domain, as well as Destruction, and of course Chaos and Evil. Meanwhile, he favors the subdomains of Demon (by way of Chaos or Evil), Feathers, Fur, and Rage. All of which reflect his nature as a master of the corpse-devouring beasts and his viciousness.
Sadly, nascent demon lords have not been given the deity treatment in Second Edition, so we have nothing much to go on here.
He does, however, have an obedience, albeit granting only a few spells. In exchange for eating a pound of carrion each day, the worshipper becomes more resistant to disease, and can cast magic to devour the ebbing life of the dying, spread disease, and take on powerful beastial forms.
Daclau-Sar hasn’t been mentioned in Starfinder, so he might have been slain, ascended, or remained as he was. He might have an influence on any world or civilization where it is considered unclean or taboo to devour the dead.
In any case, that does it for today, but the week is just beginning, so look forward to more as the week progresses!

So, first things first about Lancer Arthur: as stated in his bio he is from a timeline where things went very differently.
Rhongomyniad was his primary weapon and all that is known, of course. But there's something else that should be noted and that's that even in Camelot Arthur was dealing with Rhongomyniad's powers leaking into him and mutating him into something approaching a divine spirit. It was only thanks to his intense love for Bedivere (and help from his older brother keeping him grounded too) that kept Arthur human. And yet still the changes were already there. So when Arthur took that mortal blow when striking down his enemy, when Bedivere then failed to return Excalibur to the Lake and let him die...
Rhongomyniad's magic flared and grabbed the barely living Arthur's humanity in basically an endless sleep ostensibly to protect him but such is how magical weapons work.
The Lion King that stepped into the singularity that would become the Divine Realm of the Round Table was far more ruthless. With his memories of Bedivere and even Kay (beyond Kay's role as Seneschal) locked away by Rhongomyniad, he was truly a Divine Spirit, one of war. When he summoned his Knights and told them of his plans to preserve humanity Arthur then also offered them a choice akin to what Lancer Artoria did: join me, or return to the Throne by any means.
In essence "you will live if you support me, if not then die in the manner you deem best".
No forced duel to the death for his new Round Table versus the old. It wasn't necessary in his eyes since those who stood against him would all die regardless. Still, most stayed and fought trying to force their fellows who remained loyal to the Lion King to see reason. And it was a bloodbath, as Arthur restricted the use of their Servant abilities.
"If you wish to duel for the fate of this world, then fight as you were in life."
In the end those who stood against the new Round Table were almost all slaughtered, most hesitating against killing their friends and fellow knights. Or kin, in some circumstances. Gareth, at the orders of Kay, grabbed a few others who opposed the Lion King and fled, while Percival, Kay, and Gaheris remained behind to give them time to escape. Dinadan, sadly, lost his life fighting against Tristram, but left a wound with a curse to force his friend to falter when he needed his arm the most.
And so it went.
From there, Arthur destroyed the walls reinforced by the Crusaders under "Lionheart" (the false Richard) and their defenders with them. But the Grail he sought had already been claimed by the forces of the Pharaohs Ozymandias, Iskandar, and Nitocris.
Thus began a long and bloody conflict between the two forces, with the people of the era caught in the middle with the Hassans and few knights who escaped doing what they could to aid them.
Hell on earth, basically.
Chaldea did not arrive to a land in a virtual cold war between two powers, but a field of war. And on that field they encountered Bedivere (as written by my lovely partner @toadmiretoweepover) and worked to end the war, claim the Holy Grail, and defeat the Lion King while he was still somewhat mortal.

Honoring the Ancestors on Samhain
Tumblr media
Samhain, or Halloween as it is now called, is a celebration observed in many countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Saints' Day. It begins the observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. The origins of Halloween customs are typically linked to the Gaelic festival Samhain. Samhain is one of the four cross-quarter days (the midpoint between two seasons) in the medieval Gaelic calendar. Samhain marked the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter or the 'darker half' of the year. It was seen as a liminal (or threshold) time, when the "veil" or boundary between the world of the living and the world of the dead is at its thinnest, making it easier to communicate with those who have left this world. It is also the season of divination, using the connection across the thin veil to ask the spirits for answers.
According to Irish mythology, Samhain (like Beltane) was a time when the 'doorways' to the Otherworld opened, allowing supernatural beings and the souls of the dead to come into our world. Samhain was essentially a festival for the dead. Samhain was marked by great gatherings and feasts and was when the ancient burial mounds were open, which were seen as portals to the Otherworld. Some Neolithic passage tombs in Ireland are aligned with the sunrise at the time of Samhain. The souls of dead kin were also thought to revisit their homes seeking hospitality, and a place was set at the table for them during a meal. Mumming and guising were part of the festival from at least the early modern era, whereby people went door-to-door in costume reciting verses in exchange for food.
Honoring and Connecting with the Ancestors
To honor your forebears, create an ancestor altar with a cloth, a candle and photos of those loved ones who have passed, whether that be ancestors of blood or kin. Include memorabilia and other items that you connect with the departed, and light the candle. You can spend some time with each picture and with each item, connecting with those, or name those ancestors whose names you know followed by "may they be remembered." Dedicate a round of drumming to your ancestors and their memory. When you have finished, put out the candle. You may want to leave the altar in place for the rest of Samhain, or until it feels right to take it down.
You can connect with your benevolent ancestors by taking a shamanic journey to the Lower World -- the realm to which departed souls travel upon physical death. The desire to communicate with our ancestors is an innate part of the human experience. Benevolent ancestral spirits can guide, protect and heal the living. Your ancestors and the collective spiritual power of all those who went before you reside in the Lower World. When your own time comes to pass on, you will become part of this vast collective unconscious. If you embark on a journey with the intention of connecting with those who have passed, they may come to meet you. Keep in mind that spirits choose to come into relationship with the person seeking. You can seek ancestral spirits, but the spirits must choose. Have a happy and soulful Samhain!

Buckle up for my recommendations on where to start for Fate as that was a beloved series of mine;
You can start with Fate/Zero, as if I remember correctly. It's the first show chronologically followed by Fate/stay night; Unlimited Bladeworks, which takes place ten years after the events of Zero. There's also the original stay night season, but Unlimted Bladeworks is so much better.
Then you have Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/Extra, you can watch either in any order.
As for the Fate/Grand Order shows, which adapts from the main story of the Fate/Grand Order app, although its only the prologue singularity and the last three singularities, you can follow; First Order, Divine Realm of the Round Table, Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia and Final Singularity.
The Fate/kaleid series is an alternate timeline that follows Illya, the child Kiritsugu from Fate/Zero. Although I haven't seen it and all I know about the characters are from the crossover events that occured in Fate/Grand Order.
You said buckle up and I should've used two seatbelts.
But got it. Fate/Zero first. Thanks anon!!

15 OC Questions Tag
Got tagged by the lovely @iced-ginger-tea here. Thank you💜
And gently tagging: @awritingcaitlin @tisiphonewolfe @captain-kraken and also leaving open tag.
Let's go with Rilna. I'm slightly ill and in need of a comfort character. No, Sieran, I'm not glaring at you for being an angsty, nervous wreck...
Are you named after anyone?
She gives you a small, smug smile.
"I don't believe it was intentional, but there was a Rilna in the seventh century of the Second Realm, who was the Keeper of Keys of Gale's Rest. She started her political career as..."
You clear your throat ten minutes into the admittedly well-told, but lengthy story.
2. When was the last time you cried?
She looks away and clenches her hand nervously. The twitch catches your attention. She sees where you're looking, and hides the hand under the table.
"I honestly can't remember," she says softly. You can tell that the realisation surprised her.
3. Do you have kids?
"Divines, no." She relaxes somewhat, and looks up at you with smiling eyes. "Maybe, one day, when it all blows over... But even then, I don't think it would be easy for a single parent, so it probably won't happen."
4. Do you use sarcasm?
"Sometimes, with my friends, when the mood is right."
5. What's the first thing you notice about people?
"Their smile, their eyes-" She breaks off rather abruptly and shakes her head. "No, that's not true. It's their attitude, if they noticed the bracelet, and how friendly or dismissive, or hostile they are to a... To someone like me." Her smile is apologetic.
6. What's your eye colour?
She looks up at you, and her eyes gleam.
"Brown."
You write it down and add 'like chestnuts'.
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
"Happy ending." Her smile grows and little dimples appear on her cheeks.
8. Any special talents?
"Do you mean, other than this?" She waves her left hand, and you can just about see the rigid shape of the locking bracelet under the sleeve of her blazer. "I've got a pretty good memory for names and dates. It comes in handy for a historian," she rushed to add, as if to sweep away the bitter mood.
9. Where were you born?
"In the suburbs." You look at her with a silent request for clarification. "Of the City of Light, right here."
10. What are your hobbies?
Her smile returns, sweet, a little lopsided.
"Baking. I've got a sweet tooth, and it makes others happy."
11. Have you any pets?
"Not at the moment, but maybe, one day, I'd want a cat. One of these round ones, with chubby little cheeks."
12. What sports do you play/have you played?
She chuckles.
"Divines, I don't think I've touched a ball since school..."
13. How tall are you?
"Uh... not that tall, just under 170 cm."
14. Favourite subject in school?
"History. No, wait, all the way back in school? I think it was literature."
15. Dream job?
She looks away again, and her smile wanes.
"I've never considered it, to be honest. Knacked like me, once we get any job, we do our best to keep it. I was really lucky to get the postdoc position, and I suppose I like it a fair bit, but... Yeah, I think my dream job would be transcribing historical documents. So few people can read the ideographs nowadays, and even fewer are interested in preserving the historical sources. Hm. I suppose I should have mentioned that as a special skill, too."

What would Fate/Grand Order THE MOVIE Divine Realm of the Round Table Camelot Wandering; Agateram look like if guinevere was in it?
OH BOY, I remember thinking of something with my friend @stacruz
Basically it goes like this:
Guinevere will help Chaldea against the lion king, basically when she was summoned into the singularity, the lion king kept her away from everyone, and was very protective of her(Artoria's feelings sinking through)
Lancelot helps her out but he couldn't bring himself to betray his king again, so he stayed behind to be punished, and he does, but the lion king doesn't dispose of him, so he's still an opposing force (i think him switching sides will remain the same)
Guinevere wants to free Artoria from Rhongomyniad, and also I imagine her bonding with Mash, I think it would be cute
I forgot which Guinevere we chose but for the sake of this ask I will go with Archer, since Archer Guinevere is the one with the anti king Athur noble phantasm, She'll manage to weak lion king just enough for Bedivere to give back Excalibur
The last scene is Artoria and Guinevere disappearing together
