I get a lot of asks like these and I struggle to sit down and answer them because i hate to sound repetitive/don't know what to say, but know that if any of you have sent me a sweet ask, dbhc or otherwise, it is read and appreciated so so so much!! I was really hoping to work on Destruction over my Thanksgiving break, but i ended up with covid :( so i've been sickly and slowly working on work things that i need to catch up on, and I haven't had so much time to work on dbhc as much as i'd like to, unfortunately ;.;

BUT!! since spotify wrapped is out, i'm planning on rearranging my Top 100 Songs playlist to include some dbhc character playlist songs and basically compile a top-100 playlist full of songs i'd like to draw stuff for, that way we can do the Spotify Wrapped Drawing challenge again this year :D So!! Look forward to that :D I'd honestly like to stream and work on that! so we'll see >:3

But anyway, short little life update aside, thank you guys so much for your kind messages and things :] I appreciate it so much! <3

Micolash is a perfectly respectable irl name(a Hungarian variation of "Nikolas", iirc), but on him it has such a Vibe but then again I am writing Him. The name is the least outrageous thing here lmao.

In general, I tend to like villains, and villains tend to have "stupid-as-fuck-on-a-real-person" names. They might be perfectly serviceable with titles, but the moment you take them into a more intimate setting it's just... Bro. You're getting called that, on a day-to-day basis?

God, so sorry for blanking out on the more ridiculous names, I know I have more... But I think the grandiosity of the first two should do plenty well.

my favorite environmental detail in TRON 2.0 - maybe all of TRON - has nothing to do with the plot and has no meaning in and of itself. in the internet level, if you watch the sky, you can see small glimmers of lightning arcing through the sky, following the circuitry of the sky itself.

it's just one of the most simple and effective atmospheric details. we have lightning in TRON legacy, but it's not really different from lightning here in the real world. and TRON (1982) was already struggling to animate what it could; there's a few clouds in the sky as you enter and leave the computer, but once you're down there, there isn't really anything in the sky.

it's stuff like this that makes TRON 2.0 my favorite TRON tbh. it's so much more alien than the grid was... it really captures the otherworldliness of the original movie.
