Remus knew exactly how to calm Sirius down and keep him calm. All he had to do was stroke his hair. He’d reach up, get one hand into the silky, and drag his fingers through them. 

It might take a few strokes, but it always ended the same. Sirius curled up in a ball with his head in Remus’s lap while Remus gently ran his fingers through Sirius’s hair. He would be completely docile under Remus’s ministrations. Sometimes, he was so relaxed he’d fall asleep.

Sirius wasn’t ignorant of Remus’s motives. He just quite enjoyed the quiet, calmness and the way Remus would massage little circles into his scalp, bliss. Sometimes, he made a fuss just so that Remus would try to calm him down so he could enjoy the feeling. 

Remus also knew what Sirius was up to but went along with it anyway.

Mantine is a large, ray-like Pokémon. Its body is dark blue on the overside, and it has large wing-like fins, with a black ring-shaped mark on the top of either fin, and a jagged outline on the front rim at the bottom. Its body has a coarse texture.
