Now, age 30, rewatching with my best friend, and realizes *he* is Shrek and I am Donkey....

I'm troubled about this. And yet.

something about the italian dub of hazbin that lives rent free in my mind is that vox and alastor’s voice actors are actually brothers in real life and that makes ‘stayed gone’ and the whole rivalry thing even funnier to me

So I like the donkey ears on the reapers, I actually think it's pretty cute.

But may I ask WHY the reapers have donkey ears?

Been giggling at the donkey ears comment for a good while now, that's a first (I love it) They're actually just more long elf ears, it's just one of the lil features grim reapers have that separates them from humans. Since personally I think the only thing that canonically separates them from humans are their green eyes + poor eye sight is boring to me

So I added my own lil twists to make things more fun, not only do they have long pointy ears, but their internal organs, mouths, tongues and blood are purple as well (though, their blood turns green as their eyes when exposed to oxygen). It's just lil things that I think makes them more unnatural y'know, more, alienated. And yeah, ofc they can alter their appearances to make themselves more human and fit in to the crowd easily when on the job (though, they cannot change their blood color, it's the one thing they can't control when it comes to disguises). Unless you're like Undertaker and just alter yourself to look LESS human and more monstrous. RAAHH SORRY FOR THE RAMBLE, it's fun talking about how I view these silly freaks and why I add what I add to them, as a bonus heres a doodle I did because the "donkey ears" comment is so funny to me

honest question, fellas. do y'all think johnny may have seen the shrek movies? at least the first one? i mean shrek 1 was added to the list of movies to be preserved for future generations so... and if he did see it do y'all think he feels like a donkey involuntarily following a shrek (v) or like a shrek forced to follow around a donkey (v) because they know the way to the duloc castle (mikoshi)? does johnny also at some point bring up the layers hypothesis? cause i'm pretty sure he has layers upon freaking layers to peel off like a monster onion. and would he consider alt a fiona since she's a kidnapped princess stuck in a tower (beyond blackwall)? or the dragon because she also guards the thing? would he make a "compensating for something" comment about yorinobu since he's in a big boy arasaka tower now? 🤔 anyways, i think i need to stop now

i think donkey from "shrek" was originally one of the donkeys that could still talk from "pinocchio" bc i don't think in all the shrek films, they explained what fairytale donkey was suppose to be from
