Uhhhh backlog of art I never posted on here from January, I think? When my art style was a lot different than now, lmao. That first one of Henry was actually my first time drawing him (I believe)! Pretty crazy to me, because holy hell have I fallen deep into this rabbit hole since then. Hyde was also a lot less baby back then, for some reason. The last one is a bit more recent tho, and got used in some stupid reel idea I had.
ALSO, I never shared Hyde in the tub on here (which Sage shared on their insta story, that still makes me tweak out when I think about it) so here's that:
I really need to redraw that bc I lowkey kinda hate it now 💀💀 like, I did it in December, amidst all my Chonny Jash fanart, wtf even was my art style back then? I need to redraw most of these tho, to show growth!! >:3
The remaining 10% in the body of Polygraph Polygraphovich Sharikov are human organs (transplanted pituitary and seminal glands). The donor was a bandit, thief and alcoholic killed in a fight. A typical gopnik, as an example.
So Edward will have a lot of... fun living with him!
I haven't read Jekyll and Hyde in years (first read it in early secondary school) but now I really wanna read it again to refresh my memory of it because it was really interesting and it seems like it actually has a fandom online which I wanna join lol
There is something about classic literature that hits different - which is not to say that modern literature lacks depth - there is just something so incredible about reading something and knowing that these same words were consumed by people decades, centuries before you took your first breath. And they loved and felt the stories the way you do& despite all the time separating you you’re still connected…
“The horror genre never dies. It just keeps getting reinvented and it always will. Horror is a universal language; we're all afraid. We're born afraid, we're all afraid of things: death, disfigurement, loss of a loved one. Everything that I'm afraid of, you're afraid of and vice versa. So everybody feels fear and suspense.” —John Carpenter
god the mad scientist trope is so trans. the lone figure- partaking in the act of creation, the innovation of body and flesh, seen as monstrous and unnatural by wider society. rejecting societal rules and embracing radical science- the creation becoming the creator. transforming what once was to something so other, and it is magnificent. it is so horrible, it is so beautiful, it is me.
Here's Jekyll in Hyde's mind clothes, for some reason lmao
Dressing my favorite fellas up is actually my current favorite pastime. I spent a solid 2 hours out of the 7 and a half this took just trying to figure out his STUPID HANDS, but we got there in the end 🗣️🗣️
