Originating in Mexico, hot chocolate has evolved as its been adopted all over the world. This brown ale is a nod an early iteration of the traditional favorite, made with a bit of spice, deep chocolate, & lactose. (Oh, and drink it cold. The ‘hot’ refers to the spice, not the temp!) Admission time: I love alcohol. Usually I’m a whiskey and moonshine girl, but I love me a good stout or porter, and Sweet Baby Java I just hit the mother load.
(See what I did there? With the pun?)

Y’all.
PEANUT BUTTER.
Peanut Butter.
It’s so smooth and rich and fantastic. Brewed by a small company out of Maryland, DuClaw, I highly recommend this. Their only other commercially available brew is Sweet Baby Jesus, which is the same thing without the espresso filter through.
