Russia [FSB] hacked Democrats and Republicans in the US.
FSB leaked DNC emails to influence elections.
FSB used hacked RNC emails to compromise, exploit, and blackmail all Republicans.
FSB coordinated with Trump campaign in 2016 and 2020.
Dots connected. Russia is the enemy. The Russian agenda is NOT our agenda.

Tumblr media

Everyone's favorite little sister is back! And perhaps she's got a new mystery to solve? 👀
Previous / Next
Alma: Doesn’t it feel spooky to be back here? You guys nearly died.
Elli: [scoffs] We’re not cowards, Alma. Time to look our fear in the eye and tell it to fuck off, right, Guy?
Guy: I’ll drink to that.
Alma: You’re being awfully quiet, Julia. Are you scared?
Julia: Of course not!
Alma: The police never even caught that thing. It could still be out there.
Elli: No way! It hasn’t attacked in months. Something that vicious could never lay low so long.
Guy: Jules, as our budding amateur investigator, what do you think?
Julia: [quietly] I think it’s probably long gone by now.
Guy: But the real question, Miss Junior Detective-
Julia: Stop teasing me!
Guy: What do we believe that thing actually was?
Julia: Didn’t the police say it was probably some rabid-
Alma: [snort giggles] Elli still swears it was human!
Elli: Dude, don’t laugh. Whatever attacked me stood on two legs and wore a black hoodie. I know what I saw.
Guy: No offense, Elli, but we were both scared out of our skulls. All I remember is red eyes and sharp teeth. Does that sound human to you?
Elli: All I’m saying is there’s more out there than we know. It could’ve been a werewolf! A vampire! Some deranged fucker with a biting fetish! I’m not ruling anything out.
Guy: Well, whatever it was, let’s hope it’s good and dead.
Alma: Can we wrap this up? I’d like to get to winter formal while there’s still time to dance.
-
Julia: Still no activity in her email. Except me, of course. [keys clacking] Dear Mom, Dad and Julia. Sorry I haven’t written in a while, but life in Selvadorada is unpredictable, to put it lightly…
Mom! Dad! I just got a new email from Helena!
Andrew: Another email? I don’t understand why she can’t just call.
Rose: She’s told us, Andrew. They’ve hardly got service out there.
Andrew: But it’s the holidays! The least they could do is drive her into the nearest town.
Rose: Hush, dear. Now, tell us what she says, honey.
Julia: Hmm, let’s see. She says the archaeology team has moved into the heart of the jungle. They’re working to secure a dig site around an ancient Omiscan temple and have to move fast before looters catch wind of it!
Rose: Looters? That sounds dangerous.
Andrew: Where did this sudden passion for archaeology even come from?
Rose: Well, she’s never been sure about her career path. It’s good for her to try new things, isn’t it?
Andrew: I suppose, though it’s still not like her to run off so spontaneously. Does she say anything else?
Julia: Just that she’s, uh, learning a lot and meeting interesting people and having a good time. But she misses us. A lot. And she, uh… [voice catches] hopes she’ll be home soon. [abruptly] Now, let’s get this Winterfest show on the road! Mom, you aren’t even wearing your holiday PJs!
Rose: Oh, I guess it didn’t seem worth it this year, without your sister and all.
Julia: I’m still here!
-
Julia: Where are you, Helena?
Hmm.

So, I've been perusing the Good Society rules as written, and there's a very interesting thing regarding the roles of the player characters---what informs their situation, what explains their actions, what society sees them as. And while it's understandable that A Court of Fey and Flowers didn't include this, since it does kind of butt up against the fact that they're doing a hack of Good Society and regular D&D, I figured I'd try to pin down the roles that the PCs would've chosen had it just been a played-straight game...
Andhera: Without question, he is the Heir. He's a prince, he's eligible due to both his title and his wealth, but he's also bogged down by insane familial expectations. Pretty simple designation.
Hob: The Careerist is the one that fits him the most, what with him being both a military man and someone who actively works. This is a role that's very much inspired by Colonel Brandon, and seeing as Brennan absolutely put a lot of him into Hob (which we're all grateful for), I think this one is a safe bet.
Binx: Undoubtedly, she's the New Arrival---the mysterious individual who might have come back to society after a long time away or might very well be brand new, but they're clearly here to shake things up. Not very much is known about her, and she's going to use that to her advantage.
Rue: Honestly, they're the trickiest to pin down, but I think the Socialite is a decent fit---they do socialize with a goal in mind, and they do have quite a bit of secrets hidden under that shiny exterior. You could also argue that they're the Dependent, specifically of the Court of Wonder, but Socialite works better.
The Lords of the Wing: I'm grouping them together because, let's be real, they both kind of fulfill the same role of "I am the character who has a BAD REPUTATION and is STIRRING UP SHIT and EVERYONE EITHER HATES ME OR LOVES ME" (which is, of course, a joy and a delight to watch, and the season wouldn't have been the same without their antics). However, they're definitely different kinds of troublesome characters, and I'd argue that Chirp is the one who has the smarts, schemes, and follow-through to earn her the role of the Meddler (very Emma-Woodhouse coded!), while Squak's slutty, impulsive chaos is very much Hedonist behavior. And really, those are two roles you need to have some good old-fashioned Regency hijinks.

August 8, 2024 - Thursday
Life is surreal like this sometimes. Some things seem too good to be true, while other things seem too bad to be possibly happening. What makes it surreal is how far it is from the familiar reality, and how drastically so. It will have you giggling in difficult times and solemnly sitting through supposed joyful ones. What a roller coaster of emotions.

I don't think the Technocyte Coda "boys" are the original On-Lyne boys. I think the originals are long dead and these things are cloned from leftover DNA like hairbrushes and things like that (like one of Amir's datamined emails mentions in the mall). We know the Orokin like trying to do longevity experiments and cloning experiments later on in the timeline and if Gregory V is Alad V's ancestor, the motivations would certainly line up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
#this is what anon is talking about btw for the technocyte coda lore and the on-lyne boys and yeah i completely agree with them#this fully fits the motives and themes of the orokin empire so we seem to be seeing it start to creep it's way into the timeline#perhaps even the hollvania government were the ones who infected the area with techrot AKA the infested to begin with#maybe they had pre-orokin orokin or corpus investors who sponsored this whole thing as a sort of experiment too#let's just be glad Alad isn't as creepy about presumably young women as his ancient ancestor Gregory#he's creepy about warframes instead! xD#this is found in the Höllvania mall btw these emails that Amir got his hands on through hacking some servers or something#a government doing weird drug experiments on people who are on their land? hmmm where have we seen that before? :) hmm indeed#but yeah this whole backplot reeks of orokin involvement and would parallel Alad being super interested in the warframes#once again proving that yes salad v is indeed orokin as Hunhow had stated; it's probably the V family name tbh#wait.... what if the V family were some of the founders of the orokin empire#hmmm lots of food for thought and theory potential here to work with i really hope we see more of the concrete timeline in-universe#mod rose#warframe confession#warframe 1999#warframe#gregory v#alad v#on-lyne#technocyte coda#yknow whatever a concrete timeline means in warframe's eternalism filled universe where things are changing all the time

can someone explain to me like i’m stupid how it’s more secure to link several different accounts under the same login?? it seems way less secure from what i understand about digital security
for example, let’s say you use your google account to log in everywhere. a hacker gaining access to one of these accounts now has the login information to access to all of them, whereas if you had unique accounts for different websites, a hack would at least be quarantined to that one specific site
i understand the appeal from the tech companies’ side; it’s google and facebook who let you unify your logins, and they’re well-known for collecting your data. they want to see what other sites you use and what you do on there to create a more comprehensive marketing profile that they can then profit off of. but i don’t get what the appeal is from a user standpoint, except for the convenience of not having to remember unique login info for each site (but browsers nowadays let you store that info locally anyway)
i remember seeing a lot of criticism about this single point of failure when the blockchain first started coming on the horizon, and i haven’t seen much from tech people to rectify or explain away that fear. a game i’ve played forever implemented a new login system (currently still opt-in, thank god) to centralize your accounts across different apps, and when i asked in the subreddit if it was worth it/if anyone had addressed the worries i had, people only told me “they’re modernizing it, tons of games do this now” or else just went “you’re an idiot” without explaining (ah, reddit) even though i’m pretty sure the same community had been vehemently opposed to it a few years ago when the same game tried to get into the nft grift.
so what’s the explanation? am i just more paranoid than average, or is there a missing piece here?
