C++Caleb
Caleb x reader
When you struggle with an assignment Caleb comes to the rescue <3
Inspired by me struggling to code for college so I write Caleb helping me for comfort. My first fic btw so go easy 😭
đŸȘ·Reblogs, comments and likes are always appreciated!đŸȘ·
Tumblr media
“When will this end
”.
You were slumped over your desk, forehead laid on your laptop keys, and a groan of disappointment echoed through the air. The coding program that’s open on your laptop spams the letter “h” courtesy of your forehead. You don’t even know why you had to take this course; you were obviously going to be a hunter. But alas, you were stuck with this stupid coding assignment that just isn’t going your way. Despite every combination you could think of, and after going through all the lecture content, you still couldn’t figure out why your code wasn’t working. The blinking cursor and the red error message taunted you, tears of frustration filling your eyes.
You were just about to call it quits for today and leave it to future you when you heard the sound of footsteps. The footfalls stop outside your room, and your door gently creaks open. Caleb’s tall figure enters the room, and his smile fills you with relief. The sight of him holding a plate of apple turnovers relieves you more. God, when’s the last time you ate? You’ve been held up in the zone, doing this fuckass assignment that you forgot to eat.
“Hey pipsqueak, how are you going?” he nuzzles his cheek against your head when you lean against his stomach. He sets the plate down on the desk and wraps his muscled arms around you. “This stupid assignment is killing me,” you pout.
“Aw honey, you want some help with it?”. You nod into his chest. Caleb picks you up and places you into his lap as if you were a lapdog, and in this case, you are. You’d always welcome cuddling into Caleb's lap.
The pastry looks mouth-watering as you grab one and shove it into your mouth. A moan of delight leaves your lips as your hunger is finally satiated. Caleb chuckles as he watches you enjoy the pastries he baked. “I'm glad you enjoy them pips, but maybe keep those noises for later.” He smirked.
You smack his chest playfully, “Dummy!”
Giggling Caleb responds, “Ok, ok, what did you need help with?”.
“Something keeps going wrong with the code here and I don’t know what to do anymore”. Crumbs of pastry leave your lips as you mourn your failed coding attempts.
As Caleb skims through lines upon lines of monotonous code, he types a few corrections and fixes some typos. You, on the other hand, continue to peacefully sit on his lap, munching on more of the apple turnovers. You can feel your heart beat harder as you watch the slight furrow in Caleb’s brow and the concentrated look in his eyes. He always manages to look so beautiful. Lost in your daydreams and Caleb’s purple-hued eyes, you can feel yourself relax slightly from the stress that has latched onto you for the past few days.
After just two attempts, he successfully achieves the output you were breaking your fingers for. “Is this what you needed pipsqueak?” Caleb asks. “I didn’t do much, just fixed some typos and added some lines to make it run smoother.”
Your jaw dropped. You snatched the laptop to inspect the successful result. “Witchcraft. This is witchcraft, literally how did you do that, WHAT?!” You can feel yourself wither. From shame or relief, you don’t know but what did Caleb do in 5 minutes that you couldn’t for 5 days?? “Don’t worry pips, all your coding was right, just some things in the wrong spots and we all make typos so don’t sweat it ok?”
“Easy for you to say Mr DAA Valedictorian,” you huff.
“C’monnn, think of it this way, at least you won’t be holed up in your room now.” He nuzzles into you. I can’t believe this, ugh, but at least that hellish assignment is over. “Your aerospace engineering knowledge is useful, I'm gonna need your help studying for the end of semester exam,” you look at him, knowing he’ll fold because it’s you, of course he’ll fold. “Of course, My Lady. Any other requests?”
“Hmm, more of those apple turnovers!”
“Anything for my dear girlfriend,” he bowed his head playfully.
You lean forward in his lap and after double-checking your submission file, you finally submit the dreaded assignment. Caleb then promptly picks you up princess style and drops you gently onto the bed. His larger frame crawls up to rest his head on your chest, breathing in deeply and sighing in content. “Ok, you’re done. Now time to pay attention to me, I've been touch-starved all week because of you,” he pouts, looking up at you with his signature puppy eyes.
You smile and go to run your hands through his soft hair. With a gentle kiss on his head, you whisper, “Thank you Caleb”. The sincerity of your gratitude is not lost on him. He reaches up and presses his lips against yours in a soft kiss.
“You’re welcome, pips. Now, get some sleep, okay?”
The afternoon passes by, with you and Caleb cuddled up against each other in your warm bed, hearts beating in sync.

coffee date | kyle spencer
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
✧ fluff/angstober day seven | coffee date ✧
ăƒ»â„ăƒ»warnings: mentions of alcohol but that’s it reallyăƒ»â„ăƒ» authors note: this is pre death kyle!!
Tumblr media
College was hard. Actually, that was an understatement. It was a constant struggle of trying to juggle life and studies, never able to get a decent night’s sleep wondering if that essay you wrote really was good enough. It was overwhelming, stressful – definitely not what everyone made it seem to be. College was always advertised as ‘the best days of your life’ but so far all you’d experienced was endless amounts of homework, impending deadlines and people who irritated you to no end. Especially the frat boys. Mostly the ones from the Kappa Lambda Gamma fraternity. There had been some
awful stories around campus about the things they did to women. The only shining light in that fraternity was Kyle Spencer. Your boyfriend.
The first night you met Kyle you knew he was different. There had been a party and deciding that you needed a night off from the neverending assignments you had, you had gone. It was like any other party. Alcohol was flowing, people were dancing, couples were sneaking off to make out but all you’d done was hang around in the kitchen, refilling your drink until your vision had started to blur slightly. The alcohol had been strong – too strong for you making you very tipsy. An arm had snaked around your waist, grotesque words whispered in your ear as they tried to guide you upstairs. That was immediately put to a stop when the prettiest guy you had ever laid eyes on shoved the guy away from you. You could just make out him telling you his name was Kyle and guiding you to the couch to sit down. He’d rushed to get you a drink of water, crouching down to make sure you were okay, hands hovering not wanting to touch you without your consent. When you woke up on some strangers' couch the next day, you panicked until you saw a pair of friendly brown eyes looking at you with concern. In his hands he already had a fresh glass of water and some painkillers for your headache.
It wasn’t hard to fall for Kyle. He was the sweetest, kindest, most genuine guy to grace the Earth. When he’d first asked you on a date – a few weeks after that party, you had been the happiest person alive. How had this angel of a man chosen you of all people? After that date, the two of you had practically been joined at the hip. The fondest memory you had was of Kyle taking you to the local carnival. He had been the perfect gentleman, winning you the biggest bear and asking you to be his. There had been no hesitation in your voice when you’d said yes. It was such a cliche night but there wasn’t a single thing you’d change about it.
Kyle was everything good in the world. All he wanted to do was help people. He was studying engineering so he could help make sure the world was safer. A true knight in shining armour.
Your eyes focused on the paper in front of you, hand skimming across it as you checked your latest assignment, the black ink of the pen crossing out any words you didn’t need. After a few minutes the chair opposite scraped out from underneath the table. You glanced up to see Kyle shaking his head, the raindrops falling from his wet hair. Huh, you hadn’t even realised it was raining.
“Remind me to start bringing my jacket with me this time of year,” he leaned over the table to press a kiss to your lips. “Whatcha having?”
You tapped your pen against your lips in thought. “Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s fall, might as well get in the season.”
“One PSL coming right up.” Kyle headed over to the counter while you carried on sorting through your work. Papers were scattered all over the round table, your backpack unzipped at the side of your chair for easy access in case you needed to pull another book out.
Kyle placed the mug with your latte down onto the table with a clang, his own cupped in his hands for warmth as he sat down. Concerned eyes looked at you as he brought the hot liquid to his lips. “Babe, we’re supposed to be having a date here.”
“I know,” you said feeling a little guilty but you just had to finish this. “I swear I’ll just be another five minutes.”
“Hey, come on, take a break for a second.” His hand reached over to still yours. His fingers laced with yours, holding your hand across the table. The soothing motions of his thumb rubbing along the back of your hand calmed the swirling mass of anxiety inside you. “All you’ve done the past week is throw yourself into your studies. Believe me, I get it, but you have to take time for yourself or you’re going to run yourself into the ground.”
Finally, you looked up at him. The tiredness in your eyes was obvious to anyone who took even a mere glance at you. “I have so much to do before the end of term and it keeps piling up. I’m so stressed out, Kyle. I feel like I’m on the verge of a mental breakdown or something.”
Kyle always seemed to have such a good grip on everything. He somehow managed to balance life, studies and sports so easily — effortlessly, even. That was something you’d always been jealous of. Your life always felt like chaos waiting to burst at the seams. It was like one small thing was about to set you off into a spiral and you couldn’t afford that. Especially not when you had so much to do.
“College is important but you and your health and sanity are more important. Take a break, babe. Please. Let’s have this coffee then when we’re done we can go back to your dorm and I’ll help you with whatever I can. When was the last time you got some decent sleep?” Kyle watched your expression closely, noticing the bags under your eyes. You were working yourself to the bone and there was no way he was going to let you drain yourself on his watch.
“Uh. About two weeks ago.”
“Right, so we take a nap and cuddle later too.”
“But there’s
.” Kyle cut you off before you could even finish.
“There is but it can wait. There’s always tomorrow but today you’re taking it easy.” To emphasise his point he started gathering all the papers and books, sliding them back into your bag. “Now, drink up and let me tell you about the dumb shit Brennan did today.”

FINALIZED CONCEPT ART FOR MEDIC/VIOLET <3
NAME: EMC-499 NICKNAMES: Violet, Medic, Pest (By Paralipsis), Kid (By Civic) ALLIANCE CLASS: Cameraman Faction WORK CLASS: Emergency Medical Cameraman Division (EMCs) GENDER: She/Her
CLASSIFICATION: Artificial Mind (non-human origin)
RANK: Chief Medical Officer and Head Therapist of Psychological Affairs of Outpost 51
EMC-499, known as Violet or Medic to those who know her best, is a spunky camerawoman who graduated the E.M.C Training Regiment at the top of her class. She knows her stuff when it comes to best medical practices and like all E.M.Cs, also trained to handle mental health.
Friendly, outgoing, and absolutely fearless when it comes to her job (not so much social situations), Violet is the "unsinkable" camerawoman, who refuses to let anything get to her and to help her friends whenever she can.
(more details under the cut!)
EMC-499 was brought online as an artificial mind which is to say, her mind and personality did not come from a human host, but developed organically through interactions with her online cohort. Eventually, one of the older cameramen, known by the nickname Gestalt, would adopt her and show her the ropes.
Eventually EMC-499 would endeavor to join the Emergency Medical Cameraman Division, inspired by their work of helping others during and after battles, risking life and limb to save their comrades. Such bravery appealed more to her and Gestalt was happy with that...mostly as he saw it as a way to keep the rather diminutive EMC-499 away from actual combat as much as possible.
EMC-499 did not know of these plans, throwing herself into her studies and coming out at the top of her class. Among her training cohort, she gained the name "Violet" in reference to Violet Jessop, as a tongue and cheek joke of her being "unsinkable" in her endeavors to become the top E.M.C responder.
Once graduated, Violet was more than eager to get into the fight and put her training to use on the front lines and not just patching up alliance in the medical bay. Instead, she was sent to Outpost 51 to handle the most "difficult mental health cases" in the Alliance, keeping her far from the front and relatively out of sight. Violet was disappointed, incredibly so, but a job is a job and she has thrown herself into helping the residents of Outpost 51 on her case load.
The title of Chief Medical Officer is not too glorious, given she is the only E.M.C on duty at said outpost. Still, she hopes by doing a good job she can prove she's ready for the frontline or even to get promoted to the E.M.C Titan Division. Most of her friends and charges call her "Medic" as a result, which she doesn't mind. THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL CAMERAMAN (ramblings here just because Violet/Medic would ramble on about her beloved E.M.C hehe!) A relatively new division that grew out of the growing need for medical professionals as the causalities mounted and concerns about mental health became more prominent.
The E.M.C are trained to get alliance off the field and provide life-saving treatment with a variety of tools taken into the field. They also though perform crucial screenings for mental health to ensure alliance going into battle are of a sound mind and are cleared for combat. Not to be confused with engineers, the E.M.C are focused on physical and mental well-being, not on upgrade research , rebuilding of bodies and lost limbs, or mind recovery and transfer operations. A small, elite division of the E.M.C, called the Titan Division, are assigned to assess mental states of the Titans to ensure that the mighty backbones of the alliance are given the proper attention to all points of their health.
The E.M.C is currently assisting with the training of the new E.M.S (emergency medical speakermen) division to help expand their roster. Currently an E.M.T division has yet to be established, the TV Men preferring to use the E.M.C services due to their smaller numbers in general within the greater alliance.

Case study and analysis of the 1992 Good Omens movie screenplay (“the shitscript”) in light of the ongoing WGA strike
As one could suspect, the topic of the 1992 Good Omens movie screenplay and its infamy has recently emerged from the depths of the fandom. In light of the ongoing WGA strike it’d be good to properly address this issue, starting with Neil Gaiman’s own recollection written in 2004:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s basically the same old story — of brilliant creative workers struggling under the pressure of detached studio executives and being legally forced to mutilate their work again and again for no artistic or economic reason — we’ve heard before in many different contexts.
Tumblr media
If you’re reading this and somehow still wondering why writers are fighting for their rights at the moment, their job security hasn’t changed much since then. Please follow the WGA, SAG-AFTRA, and other unions’ official channels for detailed information and ways to help the cause.
Tumblr media
Anyway, it took over a decade and an enormous effort to print the screenplay in a limited edition of 552 copies. It can’t be distributed otherwise due to IP law, but some fans shared its fragments online and heavily criticized them, dubbing the 1992 source material #shitscript
Tumblr media
There’s been obviously a lot of controversies over the changes in the plot and the relationship between the main characters. And rightfully so — the number of iterations has created something very different from the beloved book and the award-winning show we can all enjoy today.
It’s
objectively not good. Wouldn’t be considered a hit back then and certainly not by today’s standards. I don’t think I would watch it in any other way than through channel surfing. However, it’s not a monstrosity some people believe it to be and not a case of low effort.
Let’s start with the world building: the setting wasn’t changed to the US. It’s still very much based in the UK, mostly London and Tadfield, although the latter lies now by the sea and seems much more ominous. Interestingly, the British Museum becomes a prominent location as well.
The main character and the designated hero is not surprisingly Crowley, this time in his 90s anti-hero glory. If you haven’t watched many movies of this era, esp. dark fantasy, this trope involves middle-age disenchantment, cynicism, as well as hefty doses of sarcasm and brooding.
90s anti-heroes are a dark, grim, and unnecessarily violent embodiment of power fantasy, matching the destructive ideology of that time. Combined with uber-masculinity and performative strength over weaker characters, nowadays they naturally evoke more cringe or worry than awe.
1992 iteration of Crowley is basically in his Furfur era. Deeply unhappy and stuck in a dead end job, all he talks about is how he hates Earth and his assignment here, considering a transfer to Alpha Centauri as his one and only possibility of career advancement. Or life, really.
The talking part is important here, because he clearly compensates by insulting everything and everyone. He hates on the whole planet at length only to confess that he’d rather stay here with Aziraphale due to “no good restaurants”, “no decent bottle of wine” in Alpha Centauri.
Yes, he’s verbally abusive in his automatic response to stress. But doesn’t hate Aziraphale. In one particular scene he calls Azi stupid twice only to assure him that they are friends and to offer to solve the problem when he sees that his words were taken seriously and hurt him.
Crowley refers to him as “my angel” and “my dear Aziraphale”, agrees to Aziraphale’s suggestion of sharing a room, praises the angel as a “miracle worker around the home”, drinks the tea he makes for him, and generally proves to be much softer towards him than he wants to admit.
Aziraphale, on the contrary, wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s the one engineering ways to spend more time together, following Crowley around, checking up on him (including miracling himself into his apartment and office when no one answers the door), offering help right away.
He’s successfully calming Crowley down through his anxiety attacks, overcomes his dislike of heights (!) for Crowley, directly challenges him and even breaks rules only to make Crowley stay with him. Crowley seems to be his main motivation in this movie, not the saving the world.
1992 Aziraphale also has the most badass scene in the whole Good Omens multiverse to date, taking a 180 degree turn from the typical guardian angel we all know and love to the real angel of wrath protecting Crowley from harm in his true form.
But there’s no Their Side in this universe. The only semblance of that concept appears in the context of Anathema not representing either of their respective bosses, but humanity. “That’s the trouble with the humans. They’re on their own side.”
This Crowley appears not as much on Hell’s side as under Satan’s heel. He’s scared of him and subservient, and needs Aziraphale to prevent his escape as a pretext to do what is right. He lets the angel stop him by pretending that he doesn’t even see him cheating during their duel.
By finally standing up to his toxic boss (Satan is like Gabriel during the body-swapped trial, suave and cruel) and leaving Hell’s side to do good, Crowley takes an emancipated and employee-focused stance instead of fighting for his relationship with Aziraphale like shown in S1.
Which is a shame, but matches the overall tone of the screenplay and the times it was written in. The concept of free will, while simplified in a true Hollywood-style to issues like mind control and fear, is still crucial to this interpretation of the Good Omens original plot.
Especially the character of Anathema is seen fighting both of these things. There’s no Agnes Nutter with her prophecies here, only a 21-year-old witch and her will to thwart the ultimate evil versus her fear of doing it at a cost of one boy’s life, versus Satan’s brainwashing.
Madame Tracy appears slightly redesigned as a new character as well, but isn’t đ˜Čđ˜¶đ˜Șđ˜”đ˜Š đ˜”đ˜©đ˜Šđ˜łđ˜Š for the most part. She’s been enjoying her youth way too much to see how fast it was fleeting, and this sudden realization left her in shock from which she denies to come back.
Unfortunately she’s also the one who took in baby Adam and now stays under his care. The level of his parentification is unnerving, much like his bullying and loneliness. He struggles to be loved and ask for love, which becomes his main quest beyond, y’know, the apocalypse thing.
Don’t worry, despite everything all ends well just like in the book. The family of two gets a chance to start again on much healthier terms and Anathema to live for herself for the first time in years. Our heroes get back in their car, Crowley tempting Aziraphale with an apple.
All in all, this whole post is a very long reminder for Amazon Prime to #PayYourWriters, #PayYourActors, and #RenewGoodOmens! The strike is still ongoing and crucial for any new content for this and many other fandoms #GiveMeS3orGiveMeDeath

THOUSAND SUNNY JAEGER CREW :
Luffy: Jaeger Pilot #1.
Zoro: Jaeger Pilot #2.
Nami: LOCCENT mission controller.
Usopp: J-tech, weapons specialist.
Franky: J-tech, jaeger engineer + battle programmer.
Brook: J-tech, neural bridge operator.
Jinbe: Jumphawk (helicopter) pilot.
Sanji: Thousand Sunny's personal cook.
Chopper: Thousand Sunny's personal medic.
Robin: Cryptozoologists.
Detailed explanation of what it all means:
Luffy and Zoro are the main j-pilots of the team, with Sanji working as their replacement in case any of them get hurt.
Nami is the one who stays at the Shatterdome (the main base). She's behind the monitors, the voice guiding them through the battle by pointing where is the Kaiju, where should they go, how are the other jaegers, etc.
Usopp, Franky and Brook are the personal j-techs of the Thousand Sunny. Their tasks include things like creating the program that runs the jaeger and regularly updating it with the newest info about kaijus; design and maintenance of all the jaeger's weapons; doing repairs after battle; checking the system and machines so nothing malfunctions during the neural handshake; checking the drive suits and helmets of the pilots; etc.
Jinbe is the Jumphawk pilot in charge of getting them to battle aaand out of it in case they need a rescue. He's also a strike trooper, meaning he can fire at the kaijus or sometimes the Kaiju cultist, either from the ground or from his helicopter.
Like I said, Sanji is the j-pilot in waiting, but he's also the personal cook of the team. It depends on the Shatterdome, tho. Sometimes he works in the messhall with all the other cooks.
Chopper is part of the medical bay, but he's been assigned personally to the Thousand Sunny team so he can track their medical history. He works closely with Sanji to keep them all in shape, with Brook to ensure that the pilots are clear on the mental aspects and with Robin because, well...
Robin is a specialist in kaijus, a cryptozoologist. Her job is to study the parts of those kaijus that can be recovered after a fight and find patterns that help the PPDC predict the enemy's moves. She works closely with Chopper more from a morbid fascination with science and works with Franky to update the Thousand Sunny's battle program according to her research.
BONUS: Vivi can be a diplomatic member of the PPDC, fighting to get the program some support and funding. She's not officially a ranger... Except from those brief days when she was undercover and joined the Thousand Sunny crew to escape from the kaiju cultist.

Okay I am FINALLY working on my pressure oc, I have two options on her lore, but one it's kinda similar to Sebastian's one..
(BTW HER NAME OFFICIALLY IS STELLA, with a nickname in Spanish "Luna" ((moon)))
(Pressure spoilers? Idk)
OPTION ONE:
Stella grew up in Primrose Heights (//a fictional place btw//), a deteriorated but still functional neighborhood, with a melancholic air that was always familiar to her. From a young age, Stella showed an exceptional talent for mathematics and engineering, which caught the attention of a local experimental technology company called NeoVector Corp (which was a fake name, the real name being Urbanshade/hadal blacksite) In search of improving her family's living conditions, she accepted a scholarship financed by them to study at a prestigious technical academy.
However, while she was rising in the program, Stella began to notice strange patterns in the projects that the company assigned to her. Incomplete documents, plans with "black" spaces and, above all, a series of coded files related to an enigmatic project called Initiative: ###### When trying to investigate further, she began to receive warnings: first from colleagues, then directly from his supervisor.
One day, Stella was taken to an "experimental drill". Although they told her that it was a controlled environment to test a deep immersion technology, the reality was much darker: she woke up in a giant weird tube... seeing that her body changed completely.
OPTION TWO (similar to Sebastian's lore â˜č)
Stella was born in a small coastal town in Mexico and from a young age showed a fascination for the oceans. She studied marine biology, specializing in abyssal species. However, after her arrival in the United States, she faced an unjust judicial case due to her accidental connection with a radical environmental group that was accused of ecological terrorism. Despite her innocence, she was sentenced and handed over to Urbanshade, where her destiny changed radically.
In 2007, she was transferred to Hadal Blacksite, where she became a test subject due to her low classification as a prisoner (LR-P). She was subjected to an experiment that combined her DNA with characteristics of abysmal creatures, including moon jellyfish, platinum butterfly Angel koi fish, Rosy maple moth and something more.. The procedure gave him abilities such as controllable bioluminescence and adaptability to extreme pressure, but it also disfigured her body, giving her an "alien"(?) look and leaving visible scars on her skin.
Her parents continue to fight for their daughter's innocence, although she will never be seen again.

How to Choose the Best Digital Marketing Course for Beginners
Tumblr media
Digital marketing is one of the most acquired skills in the current job market. For beginners, choosing the right course in digital marketing will create the right way to career success. With so many choices available, it gets overwhelming to decide on the right option. Whatever your expectations from a course, this guide can help you understand how to find the best one that aligns with your goals, learning style, and budget, be it for a digital marketing course in Kochi or something general.
1. Identify Your Learning Goals
First, define your objectives. Are you looking to understand it all—the overview of digital marketing—or do you want to go deep into things like SEO, social media marketing, or content marketing? If you're just getting started, you might want a course that gives a little overview of everything relating to digital marketing. Look for more local-based learning facilities; for instance, take a digital marketing course in Kochi that will arm you with knowledge of the local market and be at the top of what is trending globally.
2. Course Content
The main thing to consider while taking any digital marketing course is, of course, the content. A well-built course is definitely going to have certain fundamental issues in digital marketing. It will contain search engine optimization through which you know how to optimize better your content for different available search engines. It will also go into Pay-per-Click Advertising, where you will be able to learn how to create and manage a paid campaign. The next important element would be Social Media Marketing, providing ways to build and engage the audience across multiple platforms. In addition, Content Marketing should also be a focused area, guiding one on how to create and distribute valuable content that is aimed at attracting and engaging one's target market. It should also focus on email marketing, detailing how to effectively structure an email campaign to resonate with the recipients. Moreover, Analytics is very instrumental in learning how one can measure performance and analyze it. Relevance to trends and technologies means that the course needs to have the latest information and material on these digital marketing landscapes because they are fast-changing, and a course that reflects all these developments would be more valuable.
3. Consider Instructor Expertise
The quality of the course can be severely affected by the instructors. Courses taken by industry veterans who have proven experience should be considered. Experienced instructors bring to the table real-world insights and practical knowledge beyond theoretical concepts. They will further give you valuable tips on how to apply the skills you learn in real-life situations.
It's also good to see whether the instructors are active within the industry. Do they have a blog or a YouTube channel, or are they active on social media, where they share knowledge? This can be an indicator of their commitment to staying current in the field.
4. Check Reviews and Testimonials
Knowing the quality of the course is a good starting point for reading. Reviews and testimonials give firsthand information from people who have gone through similar courses. Check for reviews on independent platforms and testimonials on the institution's website. Observe the comments on the quality of the course content, instructor quality, and the whole learning experience.
5. Prefer Practical Experience
Digital marketing is a very practical field; therefore, it has to focus on getting your hands dirty. Look for courses that have real projects, case studies, or even internships where you can get hands-on experience. This will let you test in a real-world context what you are learning and help turn abstract knowledge into concrete knowledge that one can easily grasp. Courses with assignments or projects will help you develop a portfolio, which is useful, particularly when applying for jobs.
Practical experience while attending a digital marketing course in Kochi would involve working on real projects for local businesses or interning with companies in the region, thus availing valuable exposure to the local market and helping students build connections in the industry.
6. Assess Support and Community
Digital marketing is not easy to learn, let alone if one is a fresh starter. Having the support system in place may all make the difference. Not all courses have forums, and Q&A sessions are a good addition, while others come with mentorship programs in their package. This learning community may be able to further enhance your experience by sharing your ideas, asking questions, and networking with people in your line of business.
If you're attending a course in digital marketing in Kochi, local support could be of immense help. Keep in touch with other fellow students and professionals in Kochi who will build a support network for you beyond the course itself.
Conclusion
The best digital marketing course for beginners is one that carefully considers the factors surrounding your learning goals, course content, instructor expertise, and availability of practical experiences. Be it a general course or a more specific digital marketing course in Kochi, it is always advisable to take a moment and evaluate your options. You want a course that will give you a solid digital marketing foundation and get you on the move to success in this dynamic field. If you make wise choices, you shall have invested in your future and acquired competencies to thrive within the digital marketing industry.

ive had this idea floating around in my head that could probably be a fanfic?? like idk ive been thinking of making this into a fan made “episode” script but in case i dont do anything with it i wanna share it rn cuz its been in my noggin since a week ago!!! aa!!!
at first this just started as an animatic idea of a chase scene between red and chuck but then i tried to elaborate on it all. ive been curious as to how they would interact, so im gonna make them for like 1 minute BUT UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES? one mission, assigned to red. Kane has been studying the burners one by one, and there was one who caught his eye.. chuck. he seems to be the closest to mike, literally riding shotgun with him IN HIS CAR in almost every battle so far, and he was the one who managed to hack into kane’s warpod that one day along with being the boy responsible for shutting down a kmg MID AIR. the boy is smart; he might know a thing or two. both about precision, and most importantly.. chilton.
kane (or actually the r&d department lol) has a little gift prepared for him. all they need is the actual boy to give it to. the thing is, he’s never seen alone.. they need him by himself. this is a special mission, one that requires stealth and speed, so who better to send to get the job done than red? he’s beat mike down almost twice, and even captured him once with a bit of help. here’s the plan: lure the burners out of their lil junkyard with kane bots, follow them from a close distance & use chuck’s “gift” to disrupt surrounding power sources (INCLUDING the burner cars engines) which should result in them crashing near a foggy area, and snag chuck.
the burners get out to investigate their engines.. they’ve been shut down. but from what?? their car hoods were completely shut- SURPRISE!! red takes chuck away into the fog!! o noes!! (insert chase scene with chuck lol) once he’s in red’s hands, he literally plugs kane’s surprise gift into chuck’s back, attaching itself to him and to his nerves like a parasite. the extending wires almost glow through his skin as they enter his body.. compressing his current memories and sending commands to his brain. chuck’s struggling was getting weaker by the minute as more commands began to take over his brain. he would now be used as a weapon against chilton once an for all.
thats as far as i got since ive been rrlllyyy busy lately :p okbye

4, 14, 17, 21 for sylvan 💟
I assume this is from the MC / OC AU ask game.
4. College AU (What is their major? Or are they the professor? How do they cope with college life? Do they have a scholarship? Will they enjoy crazy college life or will they stick to studying?)
I always think of him as going for a double degree at minimum, majoring in Engineering/Science field—probably Biotech Engineering as his main with Forensic Science at the side (because I made him a necromancer in HL so that lore needs to continue in other AU too). As for his college life, despite the double degree, he would still have a pretty active social life. You could pry the party life away from his cold dead hands, only to fail cuz even in death he refused to not have fun. Sleep is secondary for him, cuz he lives fueled by energy drinks and occasional crashes when he's too exhausted. He is probably the guy who sleeps in class, but when questioned by the professor could answer it with no problem, and probably throws a question that the professor needs 3 business days and a conference with fellow professors to answer. Sylvan doesn't subscribe to the idea of burying his face in books to study. He picks up things fast and prefers to do his revision via application or practice rather than studying from books (legality of the act is not his primary concern since he believes that it's only a crime if he gets caught 😌)
14. Crime Drama AU (What are the roles of your MC in the AU? The detective/cops? If so, what kind of crimes are usually assigned to them? Or are they the criminal? If so, what kind of criminal are they? Is the police corrupt? If so, are your MCs corrupted? Why/why not?)
I have an idea (that I don't have time to write about in this AU) where Sylvia is a police detective and Sylvan is her eccentric forensic scientist genius brother. Like, nobody in the station dared to even mention his name because of the crazy shenanigans he pulled every time they sent a body/evidence to him. They appreciate him for the after-hours department gathering cuz he is genuinely fun to be around, but when he's in work mode, they can't help but be very concerned and terrified. He gets obsessive and manic once he's fixated on a case; and sometimes he comes across as crass and disrespectful to the victim, especially since he doesn't believe in life after death, nor does he believe in souls. He treats every case like a mystery puzzle he needs to solve, and the corpses/evidence as mere clues for him to solve the mystery, nothing more than an empty shell of what was once a person. This attitude doesn't make life pleasant for his colleagues especially when he's usually assigned to brutal homicide cases. Sylvan isn't corrupt but he is definitely not straight-laced either. He doesn't mind connecting and exchanging favours with questionable people if that means he could solve the mystery that was sent to his table. Unlike Sylvia who seeks justice for the victims, Sylvan is simply bored and wants mental stimulation.
17. Soulmate AU - (What are the soulmate rules of the AU? Do they believe in/like the soulmate thing? Will they fight the determined destiny to be with the person they like? Will they resist their soulmate to prove that destiny cannot control their life?)
If it's Soulmate AU, I would be basing the rules based on the lore I created for my original story. TLDR (cuz that file is near 30 pages long and I haven't finished building the world yet) of the rule is that souls can create a committed bond at a spiritual level, and if they meet again in new reincarnation, the soulmate bond will attract them to each other. It is something that happens across the multiverse. That soulmate rule is pretty lax and flexible, so the usual soulmate has marks of their fated partner would be another fun AU for Sylvan to be in too cuz NONE of it matters. None of it matters cuz Sylvan calls bullshit on the whole concept. He has only faith in his skills and abilities and thus denies any idea of a higher power holding any form of control over his life. It's either he's skilled enough to get what he wants or he needs to improve himself to achieve his goals. Ironically, because he doesn't believe in soulmates, his relationships work extremely well (at least on his part) since he never doubts his attraction to the other person. He doesn't care if the other person isn't his fated partner because he has long fallen in love with their quirks, behaviours and physical appearance. The irony of Sylvan in this AU is that he might be the only one unconditionally happy in his relationships simply because he doesn't care about what destiny dictates about his love life. Instead, he only cares about everything he learns about his lover as he falls in love more and more with them the more he gets to know them. If the other person chooses to break up with him because they fear the idea that Sylvan is not their soulmate, Sylvan would move on pretty quick since he finds no attraction for cowards who cower against an unseen (non-existent, to him personally) power without even attempting to put on a fight.
21. Spy/Undercover AU - (What is the organisation they work for? Are they good or bad? What is the purpose they go undercover? What kind of spy/undercover agent are they? How do they conduct their mission? What would they do if they were caught? What will they do if they fall in love with the enemy?)
OMG, Sylvan as a spy working for any form of law enforcement is a recipe for chaos and trouble (and I love it). Imagine him infiltrating into a shady organisation that probably is experimenting on people for the sake of world domination (insert RE's Umbrella Corp, MLQC's the Black Swan and similar organisations here) and he slowly climbed his way to the top of the ranks. Like, this man's moral compass is so utterly skewed that it's not even funny. He is ruled more by his self-satisfaction than the need to uphold justice for the good of mankind, hence there is no such thing as wanting to protect the weak on his part. He would treat the whole mission like a game that he wants to dominate and win, which in a weird twist, might make him the best agent of the organisation. For instance, any other sane, regular agent might need therapy after being made to do awful things for the sake of keeping their covers, but Sylvan wouldn't be remotely affected. Everything he did as an undercover spy, no matter how dirty and awful, is the means to win the game (aka complete the mission assigned to him successfully). As long as he isn't losing, he's a happy spy. As long as he secured the information he needed to convict or destroy the target, he couldn't care less about the things he had to do to achieve that victory. If he happens to fall in love with the enemy, then it's just another game for him and he will do his damn best to seduce and gaslight the enemy to his (not the law, nor the shady organisation, but HIS) side. It's the same if he was caught. It becomes another game that he has to manipulate his way through, probably with his life at stake (which would only excite him more, to be honest).

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Been a little bit since I used this tumblr account but recently been in a more stable mental state and enjoying Signalis, in every aspect. The universe they created and setting is amazing and so interesting and naturally like many fans I ended up wanting to create my own character. I spent a lot of time studying the replika models, lore, and design elements that make up the characters before making an attempt myself and ultimately came up with this nonbinary individual. Worked with a German friend of mine as well to help with naming.
So here we have FSN-R, or Fasan (pheasant). Design mildly inspired by ring necked pheasants, their designation breaks down as Freundschaft Seelensorge Neurologin Replika (Friendship/Pastoral/Neurologist Replika). Their model of replika was only created and used in the first few decades of replika development and their role was as a sort of investigative therapist that was highly charismatic and would speak with other replikas to identify what triggers cause degredation, what promotes healthy persona continuation, and if they were salvageable or decommissioning was necessary. Being a replika themselves however, they are not immune to degredation themselves.
The gestalt they were modeled after was a zealous individual conscripted into secret service for the empire as a social engineer and spy, making them an easy candidate for erasure to become a replika model as they were already largely invisible to the public eye. Their natural charisma and sociability as well as low grade bioresonance made their assignments as spies highly successful and when considered for the replika program were thought ideal loyalty officers to ensure cohesion in colonies as well as replika persona maintenance.
This was not the case, however.
FSNRs proved to be a major miscalculation upon assignment outside of direct control prior to the Kolibri model release. FSNRs are exceptional at one on one replika stabilization and keeping morale and loyalty high but under no circumstances are FSNRs permitted to attend gatherings of four or more individuals. FSNRs are incredibly sensitive to charisma feedback experienced when the center of attention of multiple individuals and rapidly degrade if put in charge of a large gathering.
Degraded FSNRs are seditious by nature, seeking to identify problems in their immediate surroundings and will subtly begin to push other replikas to degredation and eventual rebellion if not decommissioned as soon as their state is identified. Their charisma and knowledge of the various replika lines and their respective triggers makes the cult following FSNRs can create an immediate threat to the goals of the empire. FSNRs cannot, however, be totally isolated either as completely withdrawn from social interaction they will bond with and begin speaking to inanimate objects, inevitably resulting in degredation by proxy. For colonies which still have an active FSNR in service a handler replika or gestalt must always be present with their FSNR. Because of the inherent risk of degraded FSNRs causing open rebellion the model line has been discontinued and no further models or replacement parts made. Damaged FSNRs are recommended for decommissioning unless their function is mandatory for colony cohesion, in which case there are procedures for FLKR assisted bioresonant repair.

Avery Sirin
Alliance Mechanic
Tumblr media
See also: Dela Raisaris
The following information is classified. Spectre status required.
PERSONAL HISTORY
Avery Sirin was born in 2154 on the fledgling human colony of Terra Nova to Leilani and Grigol Sirin. The colony expanded slowly at first, and as a child Avery's education was patchy and largely delivered by her parents or neighbours, and focused mostly on important aspects of colony life. From an early age, she developed a keen interest in machinery and technology.
The draw of frontier life eventually attracted an impressive number of first-class educators, and Sirin was one of the first enrolled in Terra Nova's school system in the capital of Scott. Keen to encourage the colony (and boost their own recruitment numbers after the Relay-314 incident) the Alliance provided Avery and many of her peers with full scholarships to the newly established Falconer University in Scott City.
Avery attended the Technical Engineering college in 2172, just as Terra Nova's famous platinum rush was beginning. The sudden influx of people and credits transformed the colony over Avery's four years of study. As many of the new arrivals were non-human, this was Avery's first experience of wider galactic culture. While already committed to two years of Alliance service thanks to the scholarship program, in her third and fourth years of study Avery joined several social clubs designed to build inter-species relationships.
Her parents, however, were distrustful of the new arrivals and resented the industrialisation of their colony. They became reclusive and moved away from the city, causing a rift between them and their daughter that has resulted in a noticeably frosty relationship.
After her graduation in 2176, Sirin was assigned as a flight mechanic on the SSV Hong Kong, where she developed a romantic relationship with a pilot that lasted most of her required two years of service. It ended poorly with the realisation that her partner looked down on her as 'just an engineer'. After breaking it off with him, she applied - and was quickly accepted - to the Alliance Flight School in 2178. After the one year intensive program, she graduated in the top three of her class.
She was reassigned to the SSV Shenyang in 2179 and flew on several pirate suppression missions in the Attican Traverse, protecting Alliance colonies from slavers. Her skill and dedication were recognised with a promotion to 1st Flight Lieutenant in 2181.
In 2183, the Shenyang fought in the Battle of the Citadel against the rogue Spectre Saren and his geth army. Sirin fought with distinction, destroying several geth fighters and helping co-ordinate the defence of a hobbled turian cruiser. On the recommendation of Major Helmud Diaz, Sirin was awarded a commendation and, with the appointment of the new human Councillor in early 2184, was approved for transfer to the turian heirarchy ship Severum of the Council Demilitarization Enforcement Mission in the krogan DMZ.
EQUIPMENT
Tumblr media
Alliance Interceptor Fighter
Designed for ship-to-ship combat and missile screening duties, the Alliance SX3 is less hardy than its turian equivalent but significantly more agile.
Tumblr media
M-3 Predator sidearm
All flight personnel are assigned a basic sidearm in case of emergency. Avery's pistol range scores are comparatively poor.
SKILLS
While not much of a combatant outside of her cockpit, Avery can use her Alliance-issue omni-tool as a defensive and offensive weapon. She can release an electrical overload to disrupt enemy kinetic barriers, or repurpose the charge as a shield boost for herself. Additionally, she can use the on-board minifacturer to produce a swarm of nanides, which can be used by an invasion program to strip enemy armour, or a restoration program to repair equipment.
PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION
Avery Sirin is a model Alliance soldier. Dedicated to her mission and loyal to her allies, she has a quiet resilience and determination that make her an asset to any operation. Off duty, she is curious and friendly, and makes a noticeable effort to get along with and understand her non-human comrades. Despite her efforts, she can come across emotionally distant and prefers not to talk about herself, which leads some - particularly turians - to think of her as aloof.

Shuri, who is born with a name already engraved on her wrist, doesn't bother to look it up on any Wakandan registry, already making peace with the fact that she will find no matches. It wouldn’t take a genius (though Shuri prides herself on the fact that she is one) to recognize her soulmate, with his name spelled in foreign characters, is not a Wakandan citizen nor is he of Wakandan descent.
At seven, she starts studying her soulmate’s language in secret. If in case he did not speak any of her languages, then Shuri will be there to communicate with him in his mother tongue. By the end of the month, she has already mastered writing the alphabet, and her free time is spent poring over the books in her soulmate’s culture.
By twelve, Shuri grows impatient. She ponders the idea of becoming a War Dog and thinks of being assigned to the offshores of Mexico, dreaming of finally putting a face to the name on her wrist. Ultimately, she decides against it, content to stay in her lab to search for other, more alternative ways to find him, wherever he may be.
When her brother is suddenly taken by sickness, Shuri temporarily holds off the topic of soulmates, and trades in her knowledge of history and linguistics for biochemical engineering and medicine.
On the eve of her brother’s passing, Shuri is no closer to finding her soulmate, though she has since stopped looking.
—
Shuri touches the painted walls of Namor’s grotto and starts to recall long-forgotten memories. As her fingers trace the waves, she is reminded of the warriors who speak her soulmate’s tongue. For years she had wondered what he would look like and now

Now there is a slim chance that her soulmate might be blue.
“It did not help my case when the Spanish priest had seen my bare skin, devoid of any mark, and branded me as el niño sin amor shortly after. I have reserved that name for my enemies ever since.”
“So, I’m taking you don’t have a soulmate?”
There is a knowing glint in his eye when he says,  “I did not say that.” Then his gaze wanders briefly downward, leading to her arm. Where her mark is.
Shuri, remembering that she is without her kimoyo beads, clutches her arm closer to her chest. One of her prerequisites during its early design stages was for the beads to be big enough to hide soulmate marks, so as to deter people from asking too many questions. A prerequisite that, up to now, Shuri still thanks her younger self for coming up with.
To her surprise, Namor’s brows do not furrow in confusion, unlike the warrior who had bested Okoye. Nor does he glare at her in suspicion, much unlike the warrior next to him who had killed the American officers in cold blood. No, instead, the edge of his lips quirks in silent delight as he appraises her.
He moves to grab her hand and brings it closer, Shuri along with it. She frowns at his boldness. The nerve of him, touching her without permission. She has to bite her tongue before any insults could fly, reminding herself that she is still a guest in his home and the probability of her negotiations ending in success depends solely on the extent of her self-control.
“Your warriors took a good look at my wrist back there. They wouldn’t happen to know anyone with this name, would they?” She mentally sends Riri an apology and hopes the young scientist will find it in her heart to forgive Shuri for her selfishness. Surely she would understand if she delayed the negotiations for a few minutes. Just until she can wean out the identity of her soulmate. Perhaps maybe even his whereabouts if she asks nicely enough.
Namor thumbs the pulse point located below her wrist, fingertips touching the edge of the second character. Shuri notes how big his hand is compared to hers, how easily it encompasses her slim wrist, but thinks nothing more of it. She had to focus. “They had looked at it because you are the first surface dweller in years to have a name borne from Talokan. And a princess no less.” He says simply, nodding like he has confirmed something in his head before letting her go. “But no, they wouldn’t know who it is.”
Her wrist is aflame, but it doesn’t deter her from asking, “But you do?”
Namor shows her his teeth and Shuri cannot stop thinking of a great white shark.
“I do.”
Before Shuri can question him further, he is already unclasping one of his bracers. When it drops to the floor, Shuri watches its descent. When the sound of its clanging reverberates along the walls of his hut as it slowly slides under his hammock, Shuri watches it, still. Namor raises his forearm to her face and the last few echoes of the golden accessory are the furthest thing on her mind right now.
The words register immediately, but Shuri still has to blink—once, twice, just to make sure that what she is seeing is actually real. If her mind has decided that now was the perfect time to start playing tricks on her before she wakes up to find herself in her own bed. But the image does not leave her and the words do not change no matter how many times she repeats them in her head.
There, on his wrist, is her name in familiar Wakandan text, barely legible to anyone save perhaps the author and its wearer. There, between the lifelines and long blue veins, is Shuri Udaku, written in rushed, easy strokes like she had been writing it in haste and proper penmanship was merely an afterthought.
It is a shame, Shuri thinks, her head still reeling. Her soulmate is stuck with the chicken scratches she makes while running on seven cups of caffeine and pure genius, when usually her handwriting was neat and orderly.
In one of her earliest memories, before her parents realize her mind would not be properly stimulated in a normal Wakandan school and decide to switch her to higher and higher grade levels, Shuri is five and showing her father a poem written by her own hand. She is sitting on her baba's knee and starts to talk of the baobab trees that grow strong and tall in Wakandan soil before he takes a peek at her paper and smiles, complimenting her on her shorthand. Five-year-old Shuri smiles too, preening at the praise.
Now Shuri is twenty-four and does not sit on anyone’s knee nor does she write any more poetry about baobab trees. Instead, she stands with her feet planted directly on the ground, her spine ramrod straight, and swallows. The shock, the disbelief, the outrage–all of it goes down her throat, heading towards her esophagus. Her stomach ingests it in the silence.
Her name might be on his wrist, but that does not mean he was her soulmate by default. There are many cases in which one half of a soulmate pair share a name and the other does not, which is rare, yes, but not impossible. On top of it all, Shuri is by no means an idiot and if he takes her for one then he will be greatly disappointed. She knows how to write his name in Mayan lettering and no matter how many ways she can put it, in how many ways she may twist it, K’uk’ulkan will never, not even in a million years, match the name on her wrist.
Because how can Shuri ever accept the fact that this immortal god-king, who has trapped her with him in the cold dark caves he calls his home, and her mysterious soulmate (who, at this point, had practically been a childhood relic left hidden in the recesses of her subconscious) be one and the same?
As if reading her mind, he says, “You don’t trust me, I understand. But I told you this once before, princess, and now I will tell you again. I have many names. For my people, I am called K’uk’ulkan. For my enemies, I am Namor. But for myïżœïżœpixan gemela, for you, I am Cha’ah Toh Almehen."
Shuri blanched. “Can you prove it?”
Namor smirks almost as if he had expected her answer. With gentle hands, he picks up the bracelet Shuri has been eyeing ever since she walked into his hut and places it on her waiting hands.
Shuri’s brows furrow at this, but he only juts his chin in the direction of the bracelet, silently urging her to inspect it. Though her head is still filled with doubt, she starts to examine the bracelet’s intricate jade beading. Her fingers run along its faint bumps and ridges carefully before she freezes in place. She has traced these lines before, hasn’t she?
In her lab, when she pauses her work to rest and takes off her kimoyo beads to massage tired wrists. In sleepless nights, when she tosses and turns in bed and brings a hand to cover her face. In the mornings, when she wakes up and it’s the first thing she sees—
All of a sudden, her head shoots up, almost smacking the side of Namor's skull. She looks at him, eyes wide and full of barely concealed emotion. “It’s really you,” she gasps, and he grins as he closes the distance between them.
Her soulmate might smell of the sea, but she finds that his tongue does not share any of its salt. Shuri is just grateful that her first kiss doesn’t taste like fish.
—
“It would please me greatly if you accept this simple token of affection,” he says, already tying his mother’s bracelet to her wrist without waiting for an answer. “I have kept it close to my heart so that my ulĂĄak' chĂșumuk could wear it and think of me.”
They sit at the entrance of his hut, where Shuri can see her reflection in the water and Namor holds her hand with a certain reverence. It must have been hours now, she notes, since he had shown her his kingdom and yet his grip on her does not once falter. Not even when the bracelet is already safely secured on her wrist.
She notices the size of it first; big enough to fully cover her mark. Almost like it was designed specifically for her in mind. Shuri is reminded of the promise made to his mother and, in a way, that might hold true. “It's very beautiful,” she says, in awe at the way the pearls shine against her skin.
Namor brings her hand up to meet his cheek, and her thumb moves to feel the soft skin underneath. He sighs, leaning into her touch. “For years, I had dreamt of this day, wondering what name you would carry with you. Whether it was the name my people called me or if it would be the name that belonged to my enemies. Recently, I have even toyed with the idea that I may find both. But it is a great comfort to reunite with the name my mother gave me, even after all this time.”
Shuri’s eyes glance briefly at the water, her distorted reflection returning her slight frown, then back to him. “No one calls you by this name?”
His head shakes sadly and his beard starts to dig at her skin following the movement, tickling her. “I only allowed my mother to use it. My ears have grown used to hearing the same two names after she passed.”
Until me. Her brain supplies, but she dare not voice it out.
“Would you like me to call you by Cha’ah Toh, then—only when it's just the two of us?”
Namor smiles then and Shuri thinks, not for the first time that night, how utterly beautiful he looks like this. She has seen his kingdom and even witnessed his vibranium sun in all its glory but none can compare to her soulmate’s kind warm eyes glittering against the low lights, looking contentedly at her like she was something to be worshipped. Like just the mere sight of her was enough to bring joy to his face.
He kisses the inside of her palm, still smiling. “If it would only please you.”
Later, he will have to leave her for the surface, where her mother waits, but not without kissing the name–his name–on her wrist one final time, his nosepiece cooly pushing at the edge of her hand. Playfully, he will start to plant soft kisses on the pads of each of her fingers before she shoos him away, giggling at his antics.
Later, she will be whisked away and leave death at her wake. Later, she will look at her mark in anger and she will hide the bracelet where it will find no light. Later, Shuri will see him as nothing but a curse to wear for the rest of her life.
But here, in the now, she is with her soulmate who looks at her with stars in his eyes and warmth in his heart. Here they sit in comfortable silence, facing each other, and Shuri starts to envision a future with this man. One where she is not burdened with duty nor is she haunted by death.
In her head, there is already an image of her smiling. This Shuri wears delight on her face like it belongs there. There is no grief to tug down at the corners of her mouth because he is there to kiss it away.

"You two did an excellent job stealing the Declaration of Independence. I now declare that you shall steal... Stonehenge!"
Doomsday to the Atlantis boys
@the-haunted-office
"Well, we're already breaking normal laws, why not the laws of physics, too." Milo said, "But before we go, I need to at least know where I'm reassembling this thing at."
That turned out to be easy. Rourke flew the Aktirak, while Milo marked off the site from above with the aid of several drones he'd made, and a few more he borrowed from Pollux. Then it was time to start on the second heist of his life. The Declaration of Independence, the trophy from the first one, hung in their office in its preservation case like some award they'd won.
He worked, as he had for the first scheme, for a while on their equipment. They would be even more reliant on the tech and machines for this one, to move the huge stones without damaging them. And he'd have to engineer a convincing fake. Pollux even took interest and through his assistance became the third member of the team. He was instrumental in figuring out transport as well as helping Milo engineer the fake replacement (both insisted this was necessary, and also enjoyed it as part of the challenge).
Rourke wasn't sitting idle either. He was looking into possible automated security and how to either get around it or protect themselves. He was especially interested in any anti-aircraft measures, as they would be flying in. He also charged up spare batteries just in case they needed them. Which they did.
Their route took them to a stopover in Atlantis, where Pollux got his own Aktirak and Milo fitted it with a battery rig just like his and Rourke's vehicle. From there, they took a different tunnel and cave system to the surface that came out in Europe.
They came in low and fast, low enough they would be mistaken for speeding ground cars. They landed in the center of the stone circles and got everything ready. This was a bigger job, so speed was even more critical.
Milo and Pollux's latest invention was something they called a portable tensor field generator. Rourke just called it a shrink ray. First, each stone was marked with a temporary tag, so they'd know where to put it when they reassembled the monument. Then it was shrunk using specialized electromagnetic and energy fields, small enough it could fit into its assigned space in the suitcase sized carrier Milo helped Rourke make. A similar carrier held the replacement stones, as they were indistinguishable from the originals. Once the whole thing was safely shrunk and stored, Milo reversed the tensor generator and unshrunk the replacement stones, with Pollux and Rourke positioning them. It was all very efficient and practiced. Each knew their job and did it without question. And when it was done, they left the same way they came, even eliminating any trace of their footprints (tire tracks in Pollux's case) and landed vehicles.
When they got back to the Office (Pollux kept his vehicle, wanting to study it further) they quickly unshrunk and reassembled the Stonehenge monument. Then the three stood in front of it and texted Doom to look outside. When she did, the three waved and Milo's tablet projected a hologram of the words 'WE DID IT!' in the air above them.

Entry log #1: beginnings
 Date November 4th, 2117
This is my first entry for me and my colleague's first assignment at Reploid Research Lab: Project Marvels.
My name is Alia. I have studied 4 years of engineering and reploid studying, and I had just gotten a job at this center 2 months ago. My colleague, Gate, has been studying for 7 years, and has been at the center for over 3 years. Gate has shown great promise in his work, having already created a new way to reduce energy consumption in reploids.
But I suppose I should actually explain the project, in case someone who wasn't a member of the research lab happens to find this journal. Simply put, we are tasked to find more innovative ways to create military grade reploids that can either assist, if not, lead the team for situations in exploration missions, or help with specific research at the lab.
We have started creating 2 reploids so far, a wolf-like reploid, which will be used for ice related research, and a shark- like reploid, which shall be used for studying with the recycling team, the team that studies ways to incorporate deceased reploids (or former mavericks) to being reused for parts.
As of right now, we are halfway done with the wolf reploid, and just starting on the shark reploid. I should also let you know; Gate is the one programming and building the reploids. I, on the other hand, am tasked to help the newly built reploids in adjusting to reality, mostly due to me being a lower rank in programming and building.
This is all I have to report so far, I have to get back to helping Gate. This is Alia, signing off.
