gotta geek out over the sheer craft of sunny’s writing for a moment because the way they just effortlessly introduce gut-wrenching and pivotal pieces of character lore and backstory, whether it be 4 or 12 or 16 seasons in, in a way that just feels so natural, like “oh, of course this thing happened in the past,” like a puzzle piece clicking into place, is just next-level.

I think that Red Thread!Sunny wouldn't even bat an eye at randomly seeing Aubrey and Basil making out behind the church when Aubrey should be delivering pastries in the city, maybe the client's order tidy and nicely put on the grass, forgotten for a minute.

Not batting an eye at least physically, but internally probably scoffing and cursing Basil for distracting Aubrey from her job, pastries will not forever be warm after all.

Again seeing the tall figure of Aubrey getting more meek and shy that usual because of Basil, who is significantly tinier that her, is amusing. So Sunny doesn't really say anything, prefering to not disclose to Aubrey that maybe their little lovebird spot is a bit too close to the path he takes everyday.

Maybe he tells Mari out of amusement.

A bit annoyed, too.

Aubrey's new and probably first boyfriend. And Mari is happy for her, her beloved friend finally finding someone that she's content with. Sunny's happy too. Already marveling over meeting the boy when Aubrey is ready enough to tell about her little love.

Sunny does not tell who the love is.

Is there any outfit you like Atreus to be drawn in and or how you mostly imagine him in your fics, what clothes and what attire?

Not the question you asked but I think I do actually like his canon start clothing the best. While the metal armor is practical and elegant in its own way, I like softer vibes. The gentle colors on him and how the fabrics look worn and loved and stitched over and over are so nice. As for what I like seeing Atreus drawn in? I don't know. Maybe nothing 😂 Maybe seeing him in his canon-type clothing more often would be cool- but then I think of all the cute ideas we keep seeing like Modern AU stuff like fun, colorful sweaters and shorts. Even if I don't particularly lean towards Modern AU stuff, it's always nice to see the variety. Or loose fabrics that he's been draped in are so nice and it's fun to see his freckles 🤭

Depends on the fics. Mischief and Foresight has him in his canon gear for the most part. A Hint of Magic is very much up to the imagination because of the vague descriptions given, though his newer outfits do come from the cloths Heimdall gives him. Any fics that take place in the canon universe I picture him in canon gear. In Your Toy, the Modern AU, I imagine colorful big sweaters in the cooler weather to show off his fun and more childish side, and regular jean-like shorts(blue or green) and still colorful baggy shirts slightly tucked in to whatever shorts or pants he's wearing. And maybe stuff he'd borrow from friends or Heimdall to play with.

i missed the marder & rosell podcast bc i was on vacation and completely forgot about it so i watched it last night and WAHHHH all of them talking about writing the early seasons of the show and not really knowing what they were doing and they didn't even know what an episode of it's always sunny was and how much fun they always have making it and hearing marder & rosell compare it to other writing rooms they've been in 🥺 (at the same time as aaron paul saying he had so much fun on set and now wants to do more comedy) and marder & rosell talking about how lucky they are that they come up with these outrageous concepts and they actually do make it to air. like when you look at early sunny and the other sitcoms that were on the air at the same time it is really insane to see what they got away with and IDK i'm rambling but i feel so lucky to be watching this show in real time idc what anyone says there is no show out there like sunny and i am just so happy to be part of a little community centered around the funniest tv show of all time

the Late August Megastorm is a Me thing

it doesn't happen every year but around here there often will be a real fucky week weather-wise in late August that will culminate in a huge storm. that's the circumstance by which I arrived/awakened/whatever so now I strongly associate with it

anyway this year's was last night and that and the days preceding have really reminded me how attuned with earth's weather I/we are. as in, our internal weather and the external weather are so often uncannily in sync. I don't know what that's about, but the same mechanism that enables me to feel such comfort and joy on a heavy humid day that ends in a violent storm is the same one that forces me to be chronically suicidal when it's not warm and/or sunny enough so it's definitely the worst kind of double-edged sword if you live somewhere with a 7 to 8 month long cold season
