[Shivers] so, o-one of my facet-stories is about horny mech pilots.
a world where, generations ago, leading world governments decided to "fix" population growth and overpopulation by releasing a retrovirus agent that rewired humans to have a heat cycle. by the time anyone not in on the plan realized what was being done, it was too late.
sexual interest is dampened for most of the year - every three months, girls go into heat for a week or two and release pheromones that, a-ah, stimulate people around them.
(there are, of course, medications that can be taken to suppress heat cycles. or trigger them early, although those are something really only the upper class has regular access to.)
of course, the whole "solution" was just a self-serving bid to hold onto power in a world of ecological collapse and ongoing destructive climate change. states and major corporations colluded and consolidated their power as vast portions of the world suffered desertification and equatorial "dead zones" spread. populations were relocated into increasingly centralized and strictly controlled urban zones, which grew into vast arkocities supported by sprawling hydroponics facilities.
resource wars broke out, as well as increasingly hostile corporate takeovers. the arkocities built fortifications, expanding their existing lockdown procedures for civil unrest and extreme weather events.
the weapon of choice in the growing conflicts became mechanized walkers and automated vehicles. furthermore, the arms race to improve upon these technologies eventually led to a cutting-edge advancement in mech warfare: direct neural interlocks.
instead of a pilot relying on manual controls and the machine's automatic reflex systems, select candidates were screened for appropriate neurological and psychological profiles before being implanted with a cybernetic interface allowing them to "plug in" to a mech's combat computer. the "pilot", really more of a neural processor or "bioCPU", then synchronizes with the mech's own systems and acts as a rapid processing system capable of intuitively analyzing combat situations and "steering" the mech.
a good neural processor needs to be highly aggressive while also capable of surrendering enough control to the mech's systems that synchronization can be achieved.
s-so...
it turns out that an orphan girl named Amelia gets high marks during a round of corporate-sponsored health checkups and psychological screening.
she's shy, with little self-confidence. extremely vulnerable to peer pressure. deathly afraid of being unlikable or abandoned.
but she's driven, too, fueled by all that fear and bottled-up resentment.
she gets selected as a candidate. she scores well. she survives the cybernetic augmentation process. when they finally plug her into a mech, she gets the highest score of anyone in the program - she gives herself over completely to the machine, straining to do exactly what it wants. KILL. KILL. KILL. ELIMINATE THE TARGET.
the more she gives herself over and unbottles that deep well of pain inside her, the more she's free, the more the reward hooks work their way into her until she's a frothing, snarling, pent-up mess of a girl by the time they pull her out of the cockpit.
(and oh, how she's embarrassed by that.)
...luckily, she has someone to help her work out all that stress, someone that understands and adores her for the monstrous, violent thing she becomes in a combat situation.
after all, neural processors often can't be trusted to interpret orders during the heat of combat. you need someone a little more detached from the situation for that. so... you pair the "pilot" up with a navigator and comms operator. they feed select tactical data to the pilot, point them in the right direction, and keep one hand hovering over the emergency override and disengage switch if the pilot ever gets out of hand and needs a yank on their leash.
so it's j-just me and my RIO, strapped into a heavily armed missile with an instinct to kill called Sierra One, tearing apart less agile and responsive mechs at command's behest~

Astute Cooling
Effective power management is but one aspect of the problem. Recall that cooling ability is also essential. At the highest workloads, Dell’s rack-scale system, which consists of eight XE9680 H100 servers in a rack with an integrated rear door heat exchanged, runs at 70 kW or less, as we disclosed at Dell Technologies World 2024. In addition to ensuring that component thermal and reliability standards are satisfied, Dell innovates to reduce the amount of power required to maintain cool systems.
Together, these significant hardware advancements including taller server chassis, rack-level integrated cooling, and the growth of liquid cooling, which includes liquid-assisted air cooling, or LAAC improve heat dissipation, maximise airflow, and enable larger compute densities. An effective fan power management technology is one example of how to maximise airflow. It uses an AI-based fuzzy logic controller for closed-loop thermal management, which immediately lowers operating costs.
Constructed to Be Reliable
Dependability and the data centre are clearly at the forefront of Dell’s solution development. All thorough testing and validation procedures, which guarantee that their systems can endure the most demanding situations, are clear examples of this.
A recent study brought attention to problems with data centre overheating, highlighting how crucial reliability is to data centre operations. A Supermicro SYS‑621C-TN12R server failed in high-temperature test situations, however a Dell PowerEdge HS5620 server continued to perform an intense workload without any component warnings or failures.

Review of Sally Face
Sally Face is an independent dark adventure game & not to immediately jump into singing its praises but it's actually one of the most beautifully well done games of the past decade.
The game is reminiscent of other similar games like Fran Bow, yet its managed to build its own unique charm to it and just generally has a different feel to it. If you're a big killmonday game fan, I'd HIGHLY recommend this game.
The story follows a young boy named Sal Fisher (or Sally Face) as he and his friends talk to ghosts and try to stop a hundreds of years old cult that is trying to kill God. The game is very narrative driven as you live through Sals perspective as the events you play through is him retelling his experiences, which you often times forget while playing since the story is so immersive. The characters are so easy to get attached to and every twist and turn has you on the edge of your seat. I love the look of the game & how much thought was put into building the world of it. The game also runs very very well, especially considering that it was made by one guy. Bugs, glitches and frame rate drops are very rare, which is impressive considering how absolutely dogshit my computer is. Like, its so incredibly smooth & not taxing on ur system, so if ur system can't handle much but you still want an immersive and amazing game to play then this is one of the first games I'd recommend you.
There are however a few issues that knock the gameplay of it down a few ranks for me though. The game itself is only 8 hours long, and even though there is a sequel to the game being released so we're getting more content eventually, it sometimes made me feel scared to play the game since once it was over then there'd really be nothing left of it. The game unfortunately doesn't have as much replay value as I'd like, which is understandable since its a game based mostly around plot but it's still sad to me considering how beautifully built the world is. The game also doesn't exactly tell you how to 100% complete each episode. Like, every episode is packed with so much lore that completely changes the story and each puzzle piece that you unlock makes everything so much more cohesive and truly shows you the genius of the game dev. Issue is though that you're never even alluded to the fact that there is something to unlock inside that area. Every puzzle and piece of unlockable lore is just based on fucking around and finding out, so if you just follow the main story and go in the direction the game is leading you like I tend to do then you aren't going to get the full story. Even when you look up an achievement guide so that you know what you're looking for and how to do it, the game itself seems to not want you to succeed. From the lack of explanation & clues towards certain tasks like having to crack a code that is very unobvious & the game seems to want to lead you away from solving it, to the game not explaining basic mechanics like the fact that completing chapter 7 of In Seeking Providence shuts down any opportunity to complete chapter 8 & the fact that the controls for the clumpy minigame are not explained, the game can become very frustrating since it involves a lot of resetting & googling tutorials. There is also a lack of accessibility options, so the game is not safe for people who are photosensitive since it has flashing lights that you can't turn off and contains blood & gore with no settings allowing you to blur that out.
With all that aside though, the game is still absolutely beautiful and easily one of my favourites. The look, feel, lore & gameplay are amazing & have easily made this game into a game that is in my go-to recommended for anyone getting into the gaming scene or even just looking for a well made story based game to become obsessed with. Overall rating: 9.5/10 Aesthetics: 10/10 gameplay: 8/10 Suitable for children?: No Would I buy again?: Yes absolutely

Breaking Barriers in Software Quality: Advanced API Testing Services for Modern Architectures

In the dynamic landscape of software engineering, application performance, scalability, and reliability have become non-negotiables. With the shift from monolithic architectures to microservices, and the explosion of interconnected systems, APIs are now the backbone of modern digital ecosystems. As APIs grow in complexity and ubiquity, so too must the strategies used to test them.
At Robotico Digital, we understand that software quality hinges on much more than clean UI and functional frontends. It’s about what lies beneath — how systems interact, how services communicate, and how fast and securely data flows between components. This is where our API Testing Services break barriers, ensuring quality at the very core of your application stack.
Understanding API Testing in the Context of Modern Architectures
API Testing refers to the process of validating application programming interfaces (APIs) directly at the message layer, without the use of a GUI. It verifies that APIs return correct responses, handle errors appropriately, and meet performance and security expectations.
In microservices, APIs are the only communication mechanism between services. In serverless computing, APIs trigger the logic. And in mobile-first or headless applications, APIs drive every interaction.
Thus, API Testing Services today must adapt to modern environments by:
l Supporting asynchronous data flow and event-driven models.
l Validating REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC, and WebSocket protocols.
l Integrating with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for rapid iteration.
Why Traditional Testing Fails Modern Architectures
Legacy testing models often fall short because:
l They rely heavily on UI testing, which isn’t scalable or robust.

How AI Stopped a $5M IP Leak—and What It Teaches Us About Protecting Nature’s Secrets
In an age where agriculture and artificial intelligence converge, data has become the most valuable resource on the farm. But what happens when this digital gold is at risk of falling into the wrong hands? A recent close call involving a $5 million intellectual property (IP) leak sheds light on the critical importance of robust Agritech IP solutions, particularly in the world of precision agriculture IP protection.
The incident involved I-Sat, an industry leader in turning complex satellite data into actionable insights for the agricultural sector. I-Sat’s integrated earth intelligence platform has become a cornerstone in enabling smarter, faster, and more informed farming decisions. With capabilities that translate raw satellite data into critical insights on crop health, irrigation, and yield predictions, the platform empowers both smallholder farmers and large agribusinesses alike.
But the same advanced analytics that make I-Sat revolutionary also make it a high-value target. Earlier this year, a sophisticated cyberattack attempted to exploit a vulnerability in the platform’s backend system—targeting proprietary machine learning models trained on millions of acres of agricultural data. These models are central to I-Sat’s ability to deliver real-time, actionable intelligence. Had the breach succeeded, the attackers could have sold the algorithms to competitors, resulting in an estimated $5 million loss in intellectual property and years of lost research.
What stopped it? Ironically, it was “scent”—not in the literal sense, but a proprietary AI-based anomaly detection system nicknamed "Scent" by I-Sat’s internal security team. Using federated learning and behavioral pattern recognition, the system detected subtle changes in data access behavior and alerted the team before any damage occurred. This incident highlights how cutting-edge AI not only powers precision agriculture but also safeguards it from digital threats.
The lessons are profound. First, in today’s fragmented market of Earth observation satellite data, platforms like I-Sat are essential in making sense of the complexity. While the raw data is abundant, interpreting it meaningfully has long been a barrier. I-Sat bridges that gap by transforming terabytes of satellite imagery into digestible insights, optimizing every aspect of agriculture from pest control to water management.
Second, it’s not enough to innovate—you must protect that innovation. The importance of Agritech IP solutions cannot be overstated. Everything from the algorithms that process geospatial imagery to the intuitive user interface designs of platforms like I-Sat must be protected through comprehensive IP strategies. This ensures continued investment in technology development and maintains competitive advantage in an increasingly data-driven industry.
Equally critical is precision agriculture IP protection, which guards the integrity of technologies that empower real-time farm management. As agriculture becomes increasingly digitized, the risk of cyber threats targeting proprietary data and tools also rises. Solutions like decentralized data storage, federated learning, and on-site edge computing are no longer just performance enhancers—they are essential safeguards against both economic and ecological threats.
Moreover, the event underscores the need for cross-sector collaboration. Agricultural innovation does not occur in isolation. It depends on a secure, cooperative ecosystem where stakeholders—farmers, agritech companies, research institutions, and policymakers—can share insights without jeopardizing their proprietary assets.
In the wake of this near breach, I-Sat has doubled down on its commitment to both technological advancement and security. It now serves as a powerful example of how protecting nature’s secrets—through the lens of intellectual property—is as vital as uncovering them.
As we look ahead, platforms like I-Sat are defining the future of agriculture. Their success not only hinges on powerful AI and satellite integration but also on smart, forward-looking IP protection strategies. In a world where the scent of innovation is as vulnerable as it is valuable, safeguarding it ensures that agriculture continues to grow greener, smarter, and more secure.
