#K-popaddock- Toto Wolff x reader

You know I love nothing more than K-pop! So what better than dance challenges with some of the drivers and even the boss man himself for some good fun in between races.

As a driver, you knew it had been stressful having to push the pedal to the metal every weekend but you loved it and wouldn't have it any other way. Everyone knew how much of a K-pop fan you were by the edits and dance covers you uploaded and they loved when you got the chance to show off your skills.

The Mercedes admin gave you the honour of creating some content for the Team Socials and the fans knew that in your spare time, you loved to dance especially to K-pop songs. So you started the #kpopaddock in which each race weekend you tried to do at least some challenges personal and fan-voted. So for the newest edition, it was time to see the other drivers on Grid show their moves and the poison was EXO Kai's Rover since it was the easiest and you knew most of the guys could pick it up well.

And so it began, it was enjoyable seeing the guys try their hand at the choreography. Charles and Carlos put their own flavour and comedy into the dance as you knew the C² would. Max and Daniel did the dance well and Lewis put his own style and improvised a dance to the song.

Now this was the moment that the fans would go ballistic over. It's a proven fact that Toto is a staple to the F1 internet and what better way to get the fangirls screaming than their fave principal dancing. The admin had him agree to do some content but he doesn't know what kind so it was time to break the news and document it.

"Hey boss man, I hope you're ready for your special challenge", you say smiling hiding your evil intentions on what your boss has to do.

'"I hope nothing too difficult and embarrassing.", the Austrian principal speaks with a hint of amusement.

"As we all know, you can party hard and dance so I want to challenge you to bust a move utilizing some k-pop choreo and the whole garage is going to be your personal cheerleader", the garage erupts into cheers and whistles with some taking out their phones ready to capture the moment.

Toto's face resembles a cherry with blood rushing to his cheeks but knowing Toto he's not one to refuse but I did have a stipulation if he did forfeit.

"Just so you know sir, if you fail to accept you must wear wolf ears for the remainder of today's proceedings. So choose wisely!", you say in giddy excitement.

You could hear him mutter in German at the mess he's about to enter.

"Don't worry boss, your dance will be cool and simple to complete and that song is 2PMs My house. Get your popcorn yall cuz this is finna be a show you'll never forget", you profess like an announcer at a circus saving the best act for last.

You begin to teach Toto the moves and he's a surprisingly quick study, its always nice to see the man you look up to have a little breather since race days always have him stressed and the cherry on the cake is that it gives the team a morale boost.

"You think you're ready Mr. Wolff?", you inquire to your commander.

"Yes, I hope I don't embarrass myself too much. I'm marvelled at you. Not only you're a great driver yet here you displaying another facet of your talent. Im quite proud of you.", he confesses after which he gives you a huge wolff hug.

NOW ITS SHOWTIME!!! With all cameras at the ready and baited breath, this was his debut and you placed the cat headband on him for good measure and then the music started.

It was such a huge moment that even some of the other garages came to sneak a peak at the powerful Wolff getting his dance on and in the end, he did pretty great and the crowd loved it. Some cameramen even documented it live. It was truly an ICONIC Toto moment! You didn't think Toto was able to move his hips like that but he proved you wrong.

You even sent the video to Mrs Susie so she could see her beloved husband in action and she LIVED FOR IT AS WELL as well as little Jack laughing at seeing his dad dance😊😂👌

"AHHHHHHHHH, yep!!!!! This is millions-worthy right here. THE FANS ARE GOING TO EAT THIS UP!!!!!", you say as you observe the footage.

"You did really good Toto, im proud of you. The ears stay on", you said running to prep for the day's races before he can rebuttal.

At the end of the day, you placed P4 and to celebrate you had one more challenge to do and it was a compilation of Lee Chaeyeon's Knock. You've been practising for all four levels of the dance and now it's time to bare the fruits of the labour. Dressed in your outfit, you proceeded to leave it all on the track for everyone to see!

I just finished watching the newest Resident Evil Death Island movie and.....HOLY HELL!! Like why on this god’s green earth is Leon and Chris so hot?!? FOR WHAT!? They are 2D and they look THAT fine?? Like Chris’ arms in that movie.....just...yes....Every shot was mouth watering. The animators knew what they were doing. Then the love of my live Leon Sexy Kennedy....I have no words. The only complaint I had was that since I was at the theatres I should scream and fangirl properly. Cause there were a few times I needed to catch my breath cause hotdamn.... Might have to go see it in theatres again just to see my lovelies on the big screen again.

Favourite OC: Gotta be my main girl Chantilly Leice. She's the most developed story-wise and she's multi-faceted. Glitters-like-Stars is another fav too. Corveau the Reaper might be a third fav due to her interesting story & the situation she's in.

Newest OC: Cassata, a Dunmer I made on my newest save, named after an Italian cake. Besides the name and colour scheme, I don't have anythin story-wise planned for her yet. I know what factions and stuff I want to do, but backstory and all the character traits are blank right now. I think I want her to be a Boethia fangirl and worshipper of Sithis.

Oldest OC: Dyce. A Skyrim DB I can't play with cause all her save data got erased in some freak incident. I don't even remember making it to Bleak Falls Barrow on her save, I remember thinking the game must want me to go there since I only had the Golden Claw quest and getting horribly lost. Chantilly Leice was made years after Dyce as her 'redo'.

Meanest: Soleil just being herself. I don't really have any mean OCs, like ones that will insult you unprovoked. I have some evil characters but 'mean' wouldn't be one of the first words others use to describe them. Soleil just isn't friendly and she's a bit crass. Besides Sorcha, her cousin, not many can get over her RBF and blunt and dry comments. Even Isran admits she's a bit hard to work with due to her anti-social personality. She only wants to socialize with the bare minimum to get the job done, everything else is unnecessary and a waste of time and breath. Sorcha is the only other person Soleil allows to be in her company, thou even Sorcha themself doesn't entirely know why.

Softest: Ginseng Thorn-Summons is most outwardly soft in her actions; she gives second chances when people probably don't deserve them (not criminals just people of bad character). She gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, thinks the best of them before the worse even when being told the worse by others and she wants to think everyone is capable of good. There's nothing *wrong with the way she thinks, everyone should have a healthy bit of optimism, but for Ginseng, she doesn't have a healthy bit of pessimism until she gets burned or her trust betrayed. Her mostly disregard for people's not so good traits opens her up for others to take advantage of her kindness and generosity.

Glitters-like-Stars and Chantilly Leice are the most 'secretive' softest thou. They'll pay debts for older people who can't pay it themselves, or maybe just someone on hard times, without asking for compensation or acknowledgment. They'll assist others without payment for the betterment of the situation (unless that person is being a dick about it).

Most aloof/standoffish: Soleil. Besides her cousin, she doesn't make an effort to talk others unless she has to, or the 'conversation' is just buying somethin from a shopkeep and leaving. Chantilly Leice used to be standoffish when she was younger, (20s and below) but she was also very un-trusting so that played a part in it. Even still, she would talk to others like Guild and faction members without being rudely short in conversation like how Soleil is.

Dumbest (affectionate): Vanta Iris. She has the capacity to make intelligent decisions, she's not dumb as in 2+2=3 but she doesn't think things throu. She'd much rather rush in then stop to make a plan. She thinks hard not smart.

Jethro is intelligent, thinks smart not hard, but he likes the chaos of being a lil dumb sometimes.

OC I'd probably be friends with: I always find this question weird cause I don't see myself being friends with almost any of my OCs. I have several vampire OCs, but that doesn't mean I would be friends with a vampire normally or approve of their lifestyle in a real world setting with real world consequences.

So assuming I was plopped in the world of Skyrim and followed the same idiosyncrasies, rules, thoughts and world set up as NPCs or even my own NPC, Electra. Socialable, knows when to draw the line, not hard to talk to, plays nice with others until you piss her off. She's not typically a petty person and she'll tell you straight away what's on her mind rather than beating around the bush or saying one thing to your face but cursing you out behind your back.

April 2021 Picks

And we’re back with the end to another month. April! Wow! Lots more great picks to talk about this time. Lots of new ones to the list too. So, let’s dive in!

THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER

or should I say Captain America and the Winter Soldier

I just finished the finale last night, so it felt right to start off with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. I really enjoyed it and I feel the episodes got stronger as the series went on. Each one felt like a mini-movie and I was upset it was over and had to wait another week for another one. I think the finale was my favorite. Especially the reveal of Sam as Captain America. I love his suit, his speech and the montage of everyone watching him. The last part of the episode was definitely my favorite and one I can watch on repeat. I loved seeing happy Bucky and him goofing off with the kids in Louisiana. He deserves so much happiness as he has now accepted he’s no longer who he once was. Bucky and Sam’s relationship is fantastic and I can’t wait to see it more. I know there’s a possibility of a second season and they have to be in a future MCU movie. Regarding the villain, I feel I was confused for most of the show as to what their objective was. I’m curious if this is because they had to reshoot parts during the pandemic. I also am mad with Sharon. Like what happened with her? She is definitely the true villain of the show. I also don’t love that we haven’t seen the end of Walker (but Wyatt Russell did a fantastic job). I also loved Torres and I hope he becomes the next Falcon. Definitely so different vibes from Wandavision, but just as good!

THE IRREGULARS

This is a show that more people need to be talking about! It was SO GOOD! I feel like I heard some buzz about it when it first came out, but not much after. It follows the teens featured about who live on the streets during Victorian London. The leader of their group, Bea gets approached by Dr. John Watson (that’s right...as in Sherlock and Watson) to take on a case that has more supernatural qualities. The story takes off from there. I think the group dynamic was fantastic. There wasn’t a character I didn’t like and each one brought something else important to the group (which they even bring up towards the end of the show). [I’ve watched a few cast interviews since finishing the finale and they seem like they get along really well in real life too.] There is a kind of love triangle, but it didn’t bother me and was over fast. I did like both combinations though. Lots of twists and turns along the journey. I have no idea if there will be another season, but there should be. It didn’t end on a major cliffhanger, but definitely ended in a way where it could continue nicely. Come on Netflix. 

HBO’S THE NEVERS

From one show set in Victorian times to the next. The Nevers just premiered on HBO and HBO Max earlier this month. It follows an ensemble of characters, similar to other HBO shows, ranging from characters who are called “the touched” to men in government who are against them. Being “touched” means they have a special talent or power, which can range from healing to speaking other languages, being extremely tall, or being an expectational inventor (I seriously love Penance. I just don’t know how to explain her ability). Amalia True and Penance Adair are two of the main characters and they help bring in others who are touched to a remodeled orphanage that is a safe haven for people like them. Of course there are those who are against them existing. This seems to be at least two groups as someone is abducting and experimenting on some of the touched, but we don’t know who they are...yet. I love the fusion of a historical setting with a fantasy element. I am very excited to see where the show is headed. I also love seeing so many of my favorite British actors on the screen together.      

ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND

Time for a throw back. Fans of ABC’s Once Upon a Time might remember the short lived spin off following Alice in Wonderland (and some of Aladdin). It only lasted for one season of 13 episodes, but I remember loving it and I am so happy I can rewatch it on Disney Plus. It reminds me of why I enjoyed OUAT so much and I think this show deserved another season or more crossover with the original show. (Luckily the Knave got that opportunity.) I think it should have aired as a summer show or when OUAT was on hiatus, this way more fans would have tuned in. It is something I’ll believe forever. 

Anyway, I’ll stop ranting now... I love Alice. I think she’s a badass and a fierce warrior. If you follow some of my posts on my other blog, Lydia-yougowith-Stiles, you’ll know that I love a warrior romance and Cyrus and Alice fit that perfectly (even if they are apart for much of the series). I also love Alice’s hair and outfits. Everything about her is cool. Her relationship with the Knave is one of my favorite friendships ever. I think they balance each other out so well and how they spend most of the journey together. Back in the day, I totally shipped them, but now I definitely don’t. (Even though I don’t love Anastasia.) This is definitely worth the watch if you’ve ever heard of Once Upon a Time or not. There is very cheesy CGI especially for 2013, but once you get pass that you’ll love it. 

ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST

It was on a longer break than I expected, and I didn’t miss it as much as I thought I would (which I know doesn’t sound good for a show), but I am still loving all the episodes this season. It feels like there are more musical numbers, which I love. Mandy Moore is killing it with the choreography. There are so many amazing moments. I also was a big fan of the newest glitch episode. Everyone is so talented and I also like that we’ve started to hear from more like Jenna and Tobin. Leif has become one of my favorites. I don’t love the new neighbor next door, but I think we’re done with his storyline. I’m not loving the Zoey love triangle, but I do like her with either Simon or Max. She seems really happy with Simon now. (FYI: I haven’t watched the most recent episode yet. The glitch one was my latest.) Can’t wait for more!    

KUNG FU

CW’s newest show this month was Kung Fu, which I just learned was a reboot. It follows Nicky who returns after 3 years to her home in San Francisco. Her family has mixed feelings as she has had no contact with them for the last 3 years. She is now a Kung Fu master and warrior, out to avenge her mentor’s death and stop a villain from acquiring mythical weapons. The show gives me Arrow vibes every time I watch it. It has similar flashbacks each episode to an earlier time in Nicky’s life. While Nicky’s mission is different, the style just gives me early seasons of Arrow vibes, which I am not complaining about. It stars Legacies’ Alyssa Chen, who I didn’t love on Legacies, but instantly fell in love with Nicky. I think she’s a bad ass character and love how she’s fighting for the underdogs on the streets of San Fran, while also taking down a bigger evil. The love triangle is heating up and I’m definitely team Henry (even though there’s some mystery there). I think he’s great and once again we have an awesome warrior romance. They balance each other so well and it’s only been like 3 episodes. Now they’ve also been sleuthing together and it’s just amazing. 

NANCY DREW

Are you sick of hearing me talk about CW’s Nancy Drew? I hope not because I’m going to fangirl again. I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH! I can’t wait till Wednesday comes and I tune in a little after it starts, so then I can fast forward on my DVR. Then when the episode is over I basically start it all over again and watch select scenes that were awesome. (More specifically, they tend to be Nancy and Ace scenes because I love them and we’re entering so much angst I don’t know if my heart will be able to handle it!!!) 

I’ll say it a thousand times: THIS CAST IS EVERYTHING! Their dynamic is amazing. You can have any match ups and it’ll be a great time. There is not one person I don’t like. I was so upset that there wasn’t a new episode last week (especially because it was my birthday). I loved the last one with the Hardy Boys and that Nace reveal! OMG! I’m so sad that Grant has left again because we barely had him, but I feel he’ll eventually come back. He has to. I loved the ending when he spoke to Thom by signing to him. (My heart!) I seriously can’t say enough great things about this show. It is not your typical CW show and deserves more love and views. So happy a third season has already been confirmed!! 

LAST NOTES

Just started Shadow and Bone on Netflix and am loving it! I’m sure I’ll have an entire post dedicated to it when I’m done. (Currently going to start episode 6.) I have no background on the universe or the books (just what my sister is filling me in with as we watch). I definitely plan on reading Six of Crows after this!

#OneNETnewsEXCLUSIVE: Friday Night Funkin's Newest Modified Game introduces with a Suspected Yandere illegally crucifies to His Girlfriend during a Rap Battle

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A modified gaming in fictional characters of Friday Night Funkin' (FNF) was gone viral but controversial on Social Media and the YouTubers almost slightly worldwide. The original game was started as a demo to Newgrounds by November 2020, while the modifications either in original or referenced fictional characters like Sasha Waybright from Amphibia as an example are permitted legally in-game within the coming several months this year of 2021.

For those if you're wondering for what does this game about... It's a weekly one-on-one rhythmic rap battle game to compete against a level-based opponent, most likely a villain until the Boss Finale individually within 3 songs every Friday night, as moderated with a song referee and monitoring with his Girlfriend named Cherry (not an actual real name). The first player was named by Keith a.k.a. Boyfriend (which is also not a real name) must use the arrow keys using your local keyboard on your Window's PC. It's free to play and open-sourced which is a better reminiscent of Dance Dance Revolution.

Currently, the newest Original Character (OC) from a teenager Yandere suspect was named by "Sky" and it's made by a game creator known as BBPanzu. Here's the gameplay walkthrough at the dubbing in-game:

In a phone interview with a Yandere suspect (Sky) told exclusively to OneNETnews, she was discovered a handsome new boyfriend and fangirling him on foot by soon-to-be a love date as a stalker like Keith but... Sky founds out that Cherry seeks a relationship issue in jealousy and she was committedly planned to murder her, crucified her or frankly both of them by force if later rejected unnoticed. She releases her 3 new songs this week against Keith alone as a main antagonist herself.

During her controversial battle with a new single as a same name title herself adds, Sky was heartbroken'd and rejected by offering a love date to Keith. Cherry notices a right-of-way concern relationship during a rap battle, while her feelings with Keith looks really fine smoothly.

Much unfortunately, Cherry has decided publicly to get married; leaving only for Sky gets a total friendzone'd and defeated regularly.

Sky has no choice for a revenge in preparing her final song of the boss called "Manifest" after she was transformed into an evil side of Yandere role to herself and allegedly kidnaps to Cherry with the illegal crucifixion using a wood board background and a wooden nail for their hands (in substituted for a sign of the Jesus cross) without requiring an attempted murder.

As the final song slightly comes to a close, right after a confrontation rap battle with evil Sky... She is unforgiven to Cherry at the moment and commits to kill via the illegal crucifixion in a death sentence, which is resulted for a serious violation under a Revised Penal Code in the Philippines after from this sentence of Reclusion Perpetua and even thus a 3rd prayer line was broked by the Apostles' Creed rule saying, "Who suffered under a Pontius Pilate, it was crucified, died, and was buried".

Keith's girlfriend (Cherry) was partially died on the scene just a few hours ago, after a "Manifest" song was ended in an empty void to darkness for nothing. They lived together sadly by force between Sky and Keith with a simple kiss to herself.

Our Research Team of OneNETnews tries to seek the originated and exact location between the BBPanzu & GameBanana but, the information was denied in our E-Mail interview. The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), Catholic Media Network (CMN), St. Catherine de Alexandria Parish in Dumaguete City and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in America (FBI) have criticized the illegal crucifixion for a modified in-game to Sky of Friday Night Funkin' (FNF). 212/365: Real

For the first time in years, Atsushi’s hands shake as he takes the mic.

It’s just a publicity stunt, he tells himself, taking a deep breath, it’ll blow over soon enough, and then you can stop.

He looks over at Ryuu, who waves to the cheering crowd in front of the stage, blowing random, chaste kisses that cause his fangirls to squeal with delight.

Ryuu had consented to this. He had sat there right next to Atsushi, protesting along with him at first, but after being told the advantages by Mori, Ryuu had simply begun to agree and nod his head. Atsushi didn’t have a chance to speak out against the two of them. He was the newest member, after all.

So he waits, smiling as he usually does, hoping the audience sees the sweat on his face as typical post-performance exhaustion. He waits as Ryuu makes his way over to him, striding with purpose in a few seconds that seem to stretch on for hours.

Finally, Ryuu takes the mic as well, his fingers wrapping around Atsushi’s own. He leans in, and Atsushi mirrors him as instructed.

“I have an announcement to make,” Ryuu says with his typical nonchalance, a characteristic that at least a fourth of their fangirls seem to swoon over.

If the crowd quiets, it’s only by the smallest margin. Ryuu wraps his other arm around Atsushi’s waist, and the crowd gets even louder, cheering and clapping and waving their glowsticks through the air.

Ryuu speaks again, and his lie causes blush to burst across Atsushi’s face, which he instinctively covers with his gloved hand.

“Atsushi-kun and I are dating.”

The crowd’s joyous screams probably fractured a few eardrums.

“That’s it,” Atsushi growls, slamming the backstage door shut behind him. “Mori-san is evil, and we need to get a new producer.”

“You know that without PORT, we’d still be working in convenience stores, right?” Chuuya points out, lifting the cooling towel from his forehead just enough to give Atsushi the side-eye. Atsushi huffs and throws himself down on the nearest stool.

“Without PORT, I wouldn’t have to look like I’m dating him,” he shoots back, glad Ryuu’s not in the room to hear him.

“But it’ll make our publicity skyrocket,” Dazai says. He sits in front of one of the mirrors, wiping stage makeup off his face. “You know fans have shipped you two since you joined the band. They’ll practically be eating out of our hands now.”

Atsushi groans, crossing his arms in front of his chest and throwing his head back. “They already were,” he says. “Hopefully this’ll go like Mori-san says and will just blow over. I don’t know how long I can pretend to like him.”

“Uh, Atsushi?” He hears Chuuya speak up, and he lifts his head in time to see Ryuu glaring at him, standing in the doorway. Atsushi goes pale.

“I-i mean, uh,” he stammers, trying to come up with an excuse, but Ryuu leaves as quickly as he came, slamming the door behind him with such force that Chuuya nearly falls off the couch.

They have to keep up the illusion. That’s what Mori said. That’s why they hold hands walking on stage, why they look into each other’s eyes instead of at the crowd when they sing love songs.

At first, it’s enough to make Atsushi’s stomach turn. But Atsushi nearly catches himself falling for the ruse multiple times, starting to enjoy the attention Ryuu gives him, the affection, even the gentle way he holds his hand.

But then he reminds himself it’s a trick, and a frown almost crosses his face before he snuffs it out and grins at the crowd. Every time he hits that realization after breaking out of a two-second dream, every time he reminds himself that it’s Ryuu of all people showing him this affection, it feels like betrayal stabbing into his gut. It makes him long for the day that they can stop pretending and just go back to being their normal selves, so he and their fans don’t have to fall for their lies over and over again.

That is, until Ryuu kisses him on the cheek.

The crowd screams. Atsushi’s face heats up again, like fire and ice and electricity all at once, bursting from where Ryuu’s lips touched his skin. Ryuu pulls away immediately, turning and waving to the audience again as if it was nothing, and Atsushi tries to brush it off as well, bursting into laughter as fake as their relationship.

But we wouldn’t have come this far if he wasn’t good at acting.

Sharing hotel rooms becomes commonplace, and while at first Atsushi struggles to be in the same room with Ryuu for an extended period of time, they soon learn how to share a space as long as they keep their distance from each other.

“This is the opposite of distance,” Atsushi hisses, nearly ready to shatter his phone. Mori had rented hotel rooms for them on the next spot of their tour, but either he forgot how many band members BSD had or he knew exactly what he was doing, because he had only rented three rooms for four people.

And Atsushi has a feeling he knows who will be sharing a room.

“I’m taking the couch,” Atsushi snaps, throwing his pillow down on it as soon as he steps in the door. Ryuu frowns.

“That’s a loveseat,” he points out. Atsushi rolls his eyes.

“I don’t see your point.”

“There’s no way you can squeeze on that, Jinko,” he says. Atsushi avoids pointing out that it’s better than the alternative, preferring to simply say nothing as he unpacks.

Ryuu only leaves him in silence for a moment.

“You’ll hurt your back if you sleep on that thing.”

“I’ll be fine,” Atsushi says sternly, sitting on the loveseat. It’s hard as a board.

Ryuu must notice this, for he raises an eyebrow. Atsushi crosses his arms stubbornly.

“I’ll be fine,” he repeats.

He tells himself this, over and over, until he’s tried for over an hour to get to sleep on that tiny cement block. With an exhausted groan, he gives up.

“Ryuu-kun?” He whispers into the dark room. It takes a second, but he finally hears a small grunt from the bed. “Can I sleep with you?” The question feels strange on Atsushi’s lips, and very quickly Atsushi worries that he’s crossed a line. They’re not actually dating, and that’s not a thing bandmates ask each other, he reminds himself.

Atsushi opens his mouth, ready to say that he takes it all back, but Ryuu makes another sound. It takes a moment for Atsushi to realize that he said “mm-hmm.”

Atsushi takes a deep breath. He slides off the couch, taking his pillow with him, and makes his way over to the bed in time to see Ryuu scoot to the side, even holding up the duvet so that Atsushi can get under with him.

Heart hammering in his chest, Atsushi slowly crawls beneath the covers, watching Ryuu’s face for any sign of discomfort, but Ryuu’s eyes remain closed, his expression neutral. Atsushi’s own anxiety seems to melt away as he allows his body to settle into the soft mattress, even letting out a small sigh and allowing a smile to form on his lips.

“Thank you,” he murmurs.

Ryuu must have fallen back to sleep, for he says nothing. Instead, he nuzzles close to Atsushi, practically cuddling him. Atsushi stiffens again, eyes widening.

But then, he sees the calm and peace on Ryuu’s face. He sees the gentle way his chest rises and falls, small breaths escaping his slightly-parted lips. There’s no tension in his posture, like there is when the band is alone, and there’s no show in his motions, like there is when they’re onstage.

There’s only Ryuu, at his purest and most vulnerable, and he has allowed Atsushi to see him like this.

In spite of himself, Atsushi finds himself relaxing again as he smiles.

“Sleep well,” he whispers.

Atsushi isn’t sure what changed. At least, that’s what he tells himself. If he truly thinks, he knows exactly what changed, when it changed, and why it changed. If that small kiss on the cheek shook him, that one night in the hotel shook Atsushi’s entire world.

But he chooses not to think about that. Their relationship is a farce, a career strategy. It’s purely business, and nothing more.

So why does Atsushi catch Ryuu staring at him, even when there are no cameras? Why does he still hold his hand, even when they’ve stepped offstage? Why does he still kiss his cheek, even when they’re simply parting ways to go to their own rooms?

Why does Atsushi let him do all these things?

It’s for the lie. It must be. It’s all for the sake of staying in character, of giving the audience what they want. It’s all a farce.

That’s why Atsushi nearly crushes the flowers he finds outside his door the next morning.

“What are these?!” He yells, storming into Ryuu’s room. From his desk, Ryuu raises an eyebrow.

“I should think it simple enough to figure out,” he says. His placid tone only infuriates Atsushi further. “They’re flowers, Jinko.”

“I can see that they’re flowers!” Atsushi shouts, ready to throw the bouquet onto the floor. He doesn’t. “I mean why do you keep doing this?!”

Ryuu’s eyes narrow. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Before Atsushi knows what he’s doing, he’s stormed over to Ryuu, tossed the bouquet onto the couch, and grabbed him by the lapels of his shirt.

“You know exactly what I’m talking about!” Roars Atsushi. “No one’s looking at us! No one’s watching! Why play with my feelings when no one’s around to squeal at it?!”

Ryuu’s expression doesn’t change. He stays silent. Atsushi squeezes his eyes shut when he sees his vision begin to blur, and he lets go of Ryuu’s shirt, stepping back as if that could make his tears any less obvious.

“What if I started to develop feelings for you? Is that all part of your game, too? Will you not leave me alone because you’re teasing me about it?” He stops when his voice breaks. He wipes away tears with his sleeve, sniffing unceremoniously.

He didn’t notice Ryuu get up from his chair. All he feels are arms suddenly around him, holding him close, accompanied by a scent that’s grown oh-so familiar in the past few months.

His arms seem to move on their own, and soon he’s holding Ryuu as well.

“Atsushi-kun,” Ryuu murmurs in an unfamiliar, gentle tone, his lips close to Atsushi’s ear, “why do you think I agreed to pretend?”

Atsushi opens his mouth, but no answer comes out. He rolls the question over and over in his mind, each time picking up more and more evidence, revealing the reason that Atsushi had always feared since the beginning.

But now, somehow, nestled in Ryuu’s embrace, he feels no fear at all.

Atsushi isn’t sure who moves first. He isn’t sure when it begins, nor when it will end. All he knows is that they’re kissing and Ryuu’s lips are soft and his tongue feels so good against his.

All he knows is that Ryuu was never pretending.

WoW 9.0 Predictions and Wishlist

It’s customary for me to make a predictions/wishlist post before a new expansion announcement, so here goes.

I don’t have too much to say in the way of predictions, aside from I think the leaks about it being “Shadowlands” are probably accurate.  I’ve been waiting a looooonnnnng time to see what the future holds for Bolvar, so that leaked image has me very, happily intrigued.  I hope he stays neutral and doesn’t get hit with the villain bat.

I concur with the general consensus I’ve seen going around that all the various death entities we’ve been dealing with (Helya, Bwomsamdi, Lich King, etc.) are going to be involved as we explore the other side of the veil between life and death.  I bet we’ll get more lore about the Spirit Healers, too.  (I wonder if Azuregos is still dating one...)

I hope we finally get in the loop with whatever it is Sylvanas has been planning, and I hope it’s a bold, brilliant scheme worthy of the former Ranger General of Quel’thalas.

I’m looking forward to more development for Taelia.

I also have to admit I’m hoping for some kind of involvement with Arthas.  We know from the Sylvanas short story that some scrap of his soul is being tormented in whatever dark place it was that she went before the valkyr saved her.  And we know from Chronicle that he was holding back the full might of the Scourge from sweeping over Azeroth.  I’m not saying I want or even expect a full-blown redemption arc, but any glimmer of who he once was would make me happy.  (He was always kind of a dick, but he wasn’t outright evil to start with, and I find him really interesting.  Plus I have a long history of fangirling villains.  So there.)

It would be cool if Dragon Isles was a leveling zone, or if it was a Timeless Isle/Argus/Nazjatar-type zone for later in the expansion.

Of course, Wrathion must have a significant role.  He’s finally back after all this time.  Don’t let him disappear again after 8.3, Blizzard!  Please please please please!

As far as new races and/or classes go, I have no idea.  It wouldn’t shock me if we got either, but it seems like lately the tendency has been for new races to be added as allied ones later in an expansion, instead of available at launch.  I’m not sure what new class would fit with an afterlife-centered expansion.  Necromancer is the obvious one, but it feels like it would be ripping off too much of the Death Knight’s kit.  However, if they could make it feel distinct and new it could be a lot of fun.  Maybe they could focus more on the ghostly/spiritual side of things instead of the zombie/bones motif.  There have been zero new cloth-wearing classes added since vanilla, and it’s past time for another one.

As for nuts-and-bolts gameplay stuff, I haven’t played enough of BFA endgame to have much of an opinion about what needs to be changed.  Just...something that engages me more than what we have now.  (I know, vague.)  I guess I’d prefer normal gear for awhile instead of special, gimmicky gear like artifacts, Hearts of Azeroth, and Azerite pieces.  (I actually did like artifacts at the time, but in hindsight the blandness of the Heart taints my opinion of them, and I’m ready for something else.)

I really enjoy the world quest system, so I hope that stays like it was in Legion and BFA.  I was in the minority who never minded daily quests (even during MoP when they went a tad overboard), but WQs are definitely superior.

I miss First Aid, especially as a mage--i.e. a non-healer in wet cardboard armor.  I would be quite surprised if they brought it back, though.

More customization for original races would be so welcome, and so overdue.  Piercings, glasses, tattoos, new hairstyles and colors...gimme gimmie gimmie.

As always, my #1 dream (that I doubt will ever happen) is for more than fifty character slots per account.  When you’ve played since vanilla, you accumulate a lot of characters that you’re sentimental about.  Even if I almost never play them, I don’t want to delete them or race-change them.  Yet I also want to play new allied races, new classes, etc.  I don’t even care if they charge me a little extra a month on top of my subscription.  Or do it like with garrison followers:  you can have (for example) 75 characters, but only 50 can be active at any given time, and there’s a cooldown for activating/deactivating characters.  That way I could essentially cryogenically freeze some of my older alts while still being able to play the newest races/classes.

Hmm.  I can’t think of much else to ramble about.  Everything has either already been predicted by other people, or is too far-fetched to actually happen.  (I thought about Photoshopping a fake logo for an expansion called “World of Warcraft:  Wrathionapalooza” but never got around to it.  Either that, or some variation on WotLK 2: Electric Boogaloo.  Wrath of the Other Lich King?  WotLK:  2 Fast, 2 Wrathy?  Wrathion and the Lich King?)

I feel like WoW expansions have a pattern of good, not-so-good, good, not-so-good. Or at least:

TBC = good WotLK = best Cata = meh MoP = fantastic WoD = fail Legion = quite good BFA = I quit playing for a year

So yeah.  We’ll see what 9.0 brings.  I’m cautiously optimistic.

Summary: You've been with the witches for a few weeks now, helping them kill some people and trying to abide by the rules they were setting, but what would happen when they want you to do something a little different?

"Y/n! We have a surprise for you!" Scarlet's voice boomed through the house making you jump but quickly move through the house to the source of the voice knowing she wouldn’t be happy if you took too long "Scar?" You walked into the front room spotting the woman who cocked her head to the side at you "that's not my name honey"

"S-sorry" you stammered, you'd only been here a few weeks so these "rules" that they were putting in place were still foreign to you but you were learning! 

Apparently not quick enough for the witches though as Scarlet got closer to you running her hand along your collarbone seemingly trying to keep herself from gripping your throat.

"My sweet sweet girl, remind me what my name is again?" She gave you a grin and you swallowed the lump in your throat "you're called Daddy"

She nodded "hmm and what do you call Wanda?"

"Mommy" mumbling the name Scarlet looked pleased enough with you to step back and change her demeanour back to how she was feeling before you made that mistake "good! Now me and mommy have a surprise for you! Do you know the avengers?"

Of course you knew the avengers, they were superheroes! They were also terrible at catching the witches, as soon as they had a hold of one the other would blow them up or something, letting them both escape again, 3 years strong and the citizens of New York were definitely paying for it.

"Sure I know the avengers, what about them?" You asked and Scar just smiled wide "well you get to meet them tomorrow! We're taking you to go and kill one of them"

"What?!" You would never kill any of the avengers, actually now that you think about it, you're pretty sure you'd never get close to them without getting injured. You were brought out of your thoughts, Wanda standing behind you running her hands up and down your back in a soothing way that you loved, it was too hot to be wearing a shirt so you were wearing the blue sports bra Wanda bought you. 

"You should go topless more often detka you are ravishing, but yes you're going to see the avengers, one of less useful ones anyway, killing an avenger would make us so happy honey and you want to make us happy right?" That ‘mommy’ voice was back again, Wanda always liked to use it when trying to convince you to do things.

You did want to make them happy but was killing an avenger really the way to do it? "Yes it is the only way to make us happy baby, maybe we can finally touch you later if you do it" Wanda reading your mind at will would never be something you got used too but she made no effort to stop it.

"Really?" You tried not to get your hopes up but they hadn't touched or played with you at all yet, just little touches that tensed you up, even now with Wanda running her hands up and down your back made you shiver "yes little dove" Wanda kissed you neck.

"You promise?" Were you really considering killing an avenger so you could have sex with these two beautiful witches?

Wanda rolled her eyes projecting some images into your confused mind making you groan and quickly make up your mind

"Okay I'll do it" yes you were, those images were just too good! 

The witches were beyond pleased "oh Y/n you're gonna make us so proud I know it!" Scarlet stood closer to you pretty much sandwiching you between her and Wanda, not a bad position to be really.

“But I'm not powerful enough to kill an avenger" you said in hopes of this whole thing being instantly forgotten or maybe they'd do it while you watched.

"Oh don't say things like that sweet one, we have someone on the inside to help with that, they'll tie the avenger up and beat them within an inch of their life, then all you have to do is finish them off" Wanda sounded excited, of course she is, what else do killers get excited about?

"Okay" you sighed, knowing what you'd have to do to make them happy, you smiled, remembering a memory of you cutting your hand accidentally and panicking about the blood, and now you were helping to kill people, oh how times have changed.

You were sat waiting inside the black car with Scarlet's hand on your lap reassuring you "it's okay moya lyubovʹ you've already killed a few people, you're ready" 

"I'm just really unsure Dadd-“ the passenger door opened to Wanda "come on darling, time for you to meet your new friend" she dragged you out of the car with Scarlet following close behind and into a back entrance of the avengers tower, after what felt like forever of walking you all came to a door, a door which Wanda pushed you through and you tripped over onto your knees, a laugh coming from the other side of the room. 

"Your new pet seems a little clumsy Wanda" 

That voice? You recognised it immediately! Standing up way too quickly for your own liking when you stumbled you saw her, red hair, the tight bodysuit and the unmistakable Russian accent "Natasha Romanoff?"

The woman in question came out of the shadows smiling at you "so you know my name? That's a good start" she gave out her hand for you shake, when you did she pulled you into her making you gasp "so pretty" stroking your face the Russian lent forward, almost looking like she was going to kiss you but she bypassed your lips going for you ear "tell anyone about what happens today and I wont hesitate to torture you for hours before finally putting you out of your misery, okay?"

She pulled away with her smirk as though she didn't just threaten you, all you could do was nod "o-okay miss Romanoff" 

"Such manners, well done witches" you didn't notice that Wanda and Scarlet had come closer and pulled you away slightly from the Russian who rolled her eyes "come on ladies you let me play with the last one"

You shrunk under Natasha's gaze, Wanda noticing and wrapping you into a hug "it's okay darling Natty can't touch you until we do-"

"You haven't touched her yet? That's hilarious!" Nat burst out laughing even when Scarlet hit her over the head which she shook off "Where's all that bravado gone Scar? I thought you were going to break her down to absolutely nothing?"

"She calls me daddy and calls Wanda mommy, she's getting there!" Scar snapped, her and Nat have never gotten along much, more times than none Wanda had to intervene before things got out of hand 

"Ladies come on, you're scaring my pretty girl" she stroked your hair placing a kiss in your hair "we don't need you to be scared when you're gonna kill an avenger do we?"

"No mommy" you mumbled into her chest and the witch smiled "good now come on"

She lead you through the open room and to a small door and when opening it saw someone tied up on a chair, they slowly lifted their head up and you gasped "War machine?!"

"Yep! You didn't think it'd be Tony did you?" Nat pushed past you both "he won't be missed, he was also pretty easy to take down"

"N-Nat why?" The man cried out but he redhead shrugged "I get bored and the witches pay me well, why wouldn't I help them?"

She handed you a sharp looking dagger closing your palm around it "he won't last long, better do it quick" 

Okay so you were going to kill War machine great great, couldn't your murderous girlfriends/kidnappers/captors just keep you in the house all day? You'd clean and cook dinner, even if it was a little humiliating.

A tap on your cheek brought you back to the real world "princess we can't wait all day" Wanda stood behind you helping guide your hand to the man who barely moved, Natasha really did a number on him "just stab him in the heart and get it over with, I'm hungry" 

Wanda shushed Nat scolding her for being cocky "Natalia if you can't behave just leave" Nat shook her head "I want to see if she can actually do it"

Scarlet come to the forefront taking her place next to you staring daggers into the red head "she helped kill 3 people in the weeks she's been with us, our printsessa is more than capable" 

She looked back at you "go on darling" she gave you a comforting smile which under different circumstances would make you all warm and fuzzy.

You decided to get it over and done with letting Wanda guide you forward and aiming the dagger against War machine's ribs, Wanda lent in close lips brushing against your ear making you shiver "just like you did with that police offer last week sweetheart straight through and twist"

You nodded and looked into the eyes of James who begged for you to think about it "please don't do this, I can protect-i can help you, those witches don't deserve-"

Shut it iron man wannabe!" Scarlet slapped him hard across the face hard enough with her rings to cut his face up even more

"Do it" Wanda sighed a breath of relief when you pushed the dagger in and twisted, Jame's scream piercing the room and making you wince, you did it. You killed an avenger, sure he was beaten by Natasha and tied up but you guessed it still counted, right? 

"It definitely counts my love well done" you dropped the dagger now drenched in blood along with your hand which Scarlet helped clean with a towel "I'm very proud of you golubʹ" Scar kissed your nose but you made no intent of responding. They've started doing that after you killed for them, praising you and making you feel special, but it was still so hard to accept.

"Can we go home?" You said point blankly, and heard Nat groan "is she always this annoying?"

"She's new to killing people Natalia! Leave her alone" Scar snapped but Nat wasn't fazed "you know Scar" she stepped towards the red head lifting her hand to her neck making the witch twitch away "we could really work out our anger issues with one another in a better way..." 

"I'd rather stab you with my knife twisting and twisting until you bleed out in in my arms” the two women stood at each other's throat Nat's hand retreated back down to her side but a smile was still plastered on her beautiful face "girls, please either fuck or let's take our little girl home"

Nat shrugged and pulled a surprised Scarlet witch against her kissing her hard and forcing her tongue into her mouth.

You watched them kiss with your mouth slightly agape "don't mind them sweetheart they do this every time" Wanda pressed a kiss to your cheek "and you don't mind?"

Wanda laughed at the innocence of you "oh no darling I don't mind at all, I'm too busy to keep Scar satisfied all the time, plus killing makes her horny so it works when we have to come and see Nat"

You were a little taken aback but considering you were in the hands of some killers you suppose that wasn't the worst thing you've heard "oh okay..."

Wanda whisked you away from the girls who had moved their "problem solving" to the table "they wont be done for a while honey lets go home and get in you into a nice bath" you nodded and ignored the noises and moans coming from the pair.

When you and Wanda got back to the house you were sleepy after you killed an avenger! But you digressed you were tired "malyshka don't go to sleep on me yet, you need a bath to wash all the blood off of you"

You looked down at your arm and part of your torso that were caked in dry blood "oh yeah I killed an avenger"

You started giggling softly "I killed an avenger" you kept repeating it and Wanda smirked thinking you had finally cracked "you did princess, how do you feel?"

"Fucking awful!" You jumped out of her arms much to the witches annoyance “don't you dare swear at me! What have we taught you?!" Her anger shined through and she gripped your throat stopping you in your tracks "you wanted this my love, YOU knocked on the door YOU wanted to stay, everything that has happened in the weeks you've been here has been YOUR fault!” 

Wanda finished her speech with a slap to your face, her anger boiling over “now we've been very patient with you but I won't accept you swearing and being ungrateful for what we've done for you! Get in the bath now" she near enough threw you across the room and you tried hiding your tears as you ran off to the bathroom.

Wanda sighed heavily "god she's really fucking testing me" she walked into the bathroom where you were sat in the bathtub tears streaming down your face "Y/n I'm sorry but you need to understand, we're killers and you walked right into our arms, you need to learn princess”  

She tried to be sweet but you knew it was all manipulation and you were falling for it "I-i'm sor-sorry" you sobbed

Wanda accepted your apology and slipped into the empty bath behind you holding you close to her “thank you for apologising baby, I know you don't like seeing mommy sad do you?"

You shook your head "no mommy" tears now stained your cheeks but you had no more left in you, instead sniffling and rubbing at your arms "sorry mommy, so sorry"

"Shh shh little one, no more sadness, Daddy will be home soon and she doesn't like tears on her girls” you both sat for a little while before Wanda pulled you out of the bath and helped you clean your face "there you go, free from tears pretty one, lets go and make dinner for Scar" 

There were no other words spoke about what happened before, the bruising on your cheek giving you pain but you didn't want to bring it up incase Wanda snapped again, she was right you wanted this and even though every day you woke up and questioned your thought process and thought about leaving, you couldn't bring yourself to do so.

The door opened and slammed shut making you flinch and drop the knife you were using to cut some vegetables, Wanda scolding you "silly girl, getting scared over the door"

"I swear that Russian bitch gets under my skin so much!" Scarlet groaned slumping down on the couch.

"You don't say that when you're sat on her face" 

“Yeah because she can’t talk back to me and be a bitch, she has to use vicious tongue to please me which she does beautifully, then she goes back to spouting bullshit” Wanda had pushed you to where Scar was sat and the redhead smiled bringing you down onto her lap forgetting about Natasha "did you enjoy your time malyshka?" You glanced at Wanda briefly who gave a small shake of her head and you understood "it was okay daddy...I'm just trying to get used to it"

"Hmm well it has only been a few weeks but don't worry you'll love it soon enough" she stroked your bruised cheek and you flinched away making the witch tilt her head and turn to Wanda knowing instantly what had happened "oh so you can hurt her but when I want to do something to her you complain and say it’s too soon”.

Wanda rolled her eyes "it doesn't matter why I slapped her she's fine now and understands her role here" 

Scarlet nodded holding you close "did you deserve it honey?"

You nodded "yes daddy I did, I swore in front of mommy and hurt her feelings”

"Ohhh what a naughty girl, not even our last one swore at mommy" Scar kissed your bruised cheek showing a softer side you hadn't seen much but appreciated, maybe it was the fact she'd just gotten laid but either way you curled into her body clinging onto her tight. 

You felt a pair of hands run up and down your back soothing you, it was Wanda "Y/n honey I think its time for bed, you've had a long day"

You groaned not wanting to move from your position on Scar's lap "leave her Wanda, she's comfortable"

You were drifting off so you couldn't hear the rest of the conversation going on but you honestly didn't care you were so tired instead snuggling into Scar's neck and your breathing softened signalling you were sleeping.

"Did you find her family?" Wanda quickly checked you were asleep before saying anything and continued "do they keep trying to call her?" Scar nodded "they're so persistent like Jesus Christ your daughter hasn't contacted you in weeks and all of a sudden you panic"

The two laughed a little too loud as you began to stir but Wanda whispered a Sokovian lullaby in her ear instantly calming you back down.

"Maybe we should go and visit her parents, as her partners it only seems right" Wanda was being sarcastic but she did think it was time to meet the family.

Scarlet agreed "plus she'll have to call us mommy and daddy in front of her parents, it'll be hilarious"

"You're so childish" Wanda pressed a kiss to the witch smirking "you taste sweet, what have you been eating?” Scarlet blushed "you know damn well what I've eaten and I hate that she's so sweet" 

"She's not that bad Scar, we both know she's fun to play with every now and then" Wanda responded, she knew how fun Nat could be and even enjoyed it sometimes "enough about that stupid assassin, do you think our girl will stay?"

Wanda looked down at you curled into Scar and smiled "she has some learning still to do, but did you see the way her eyes lit up using that dagger? Even though she wont admit it a few more kills and she'll be a corrupted as we are"

Scarlet sighed “we can only hope”

N/A: Well, fuck AoX again and I think I can do an evil actor Kurt much better. Trying to be subtle here? Meh

Being an actor is not an easy task, that´s an opinion few can give as the movies and interviews give the impression anyone can be a famous actor, yet, Kurt Wagner can point out, without shame, how he did struggle and battle to arrive at the top in such difficult industry.

Mutants and humans are living together and many fetishes are throw in the big media with humans and mutants hence why Kurt had a hard time getting a serious role, at first, he was handsome mutant number 2 and he hated that, now, he´s the protagonist, the director and producer with 3 good movies under his belt that won many awards. Especially the Oscar for best picture and best movie.

And in an interview, the blue man promised to make a sequel to his acclaimed movie, Bluenella, and he´s a man of his word. Yet, like many things in life, one problem arrives that his older sister points out. "The girls that are supposed to dance in this party, get sick, food poisoning, and what we´ll do?"

Kurt thought for a moment. "We have a contract with them, how long will they be sick?" he asked in a professional way and Rogue stated they will be out of action for 2 weeks. "One, let´s send them to get well presents, and two, we can use the dancers to another scene...for this one? Well, we can use a replacement"

Rogue nods and did make some suggestion to what to not call. In her humble opinion, Carol Danvers is not a delicate flower and is not suitable to be a dancer for this scene, or, if you truly ask Rogue, Carol Danvers is not suitable to do anything, but, that´s another story.

Kurt is holding his phone and calling someone. Oh, they will get someone to dance in that scene.

A company of dance called Suspire(oh, Kurt is really amused they choose this name) receive the call and send one of their best dancers for this scene, one of them, as the girls arrive, did catch Kurt´s eyes, or to be more exact, this one girl did gaze upon him first and foremost.

(No fear, no excitement, a mere curiosity that goes to him and the place around her. It´s such innocent that stands up from the others who are giving typical looks to Kurt and the area)

Rogue is talking with the girls to explain the scene, they have to dance bale as the protagonist is thinking about her love life. They nod as more details are giving, don´t interact with the protagonist, just dance, no dialogue will be giving, but, they will get the spotlight for 10 minutes(in movie´s language that´s a lot) and that´s it.

The protagonist of the movie, Alisson "Dazzler" Blaire is talking with the girls explaining the backstory of the protagonist and the importance of the symbolism of this scene, however, Kitty Pryde ended up losing herself from the group and is lost.

"Lost, Madchen?" A voice startled young Kitty Pryde as she looks up to see Kurt Wagner smiling at her and Kitty sighs in relief only to do a grimace at him. "Don´t sneak on me, elf, and yes I´m lost...this studio is really big" she confesses sheepishly.

"That´s what she said" Kurt jokes along and adds "excited to do your first cameo in a big movie?" Kitty is petite, a teen who knows won´t be the tallest woman out there, yet, makes up for this with a strength only few can get, this woman is tenacious and wants to be a great dancer and Kurt knows she´ll be.

"Yes," the answer is a bit clumsy and Kurt can see something is on her mind, and once again, the man is proven right as she adds "Did I get this role because I´m a good dancer or because...you wanted me here?" Kitty asked blushing and Kurt smiles politely as his smiles did falter and he looks hurt and Kitty feels bad for the question.

"Katzchen" a more stern tone was used and Kitty, a teen with 16 years old, is feeling silly now "you´re here because of your talent, of your own merits, how can you think so low of yourself? or me? I wouldn´t ask you to be here just because...if you´re here is because you´re talent dancer" Kurt explained and Kitty apologises.

"Is just, I know you" she blushes and Kurt remembers strawberry and how much he loves it "And I just want to make sure that I´m here for my own merits and not...nepotism" Kitty declares softly and Kurt understand. "I´m happy to be in this scene, and, I´m happy to be near you" she confessed feeling silly and Kurt chuckles at this reaction.

"I´m happy you´re here, Katzchen, now, you must be with your group...here, let me take you" and Kitty gladly accepts his help as Alisson waves at Kitty as the girl is not terribly late for hearing more explanation on the scene.

Finally, the scene is filmed and everyone is happy, well, Kurt still doesn´t think the scene is perfect and wants to try some new ideas before considering the scene over, no one is complaining about that.

Kurt is talking with Kitty and, of course, her classmates thanking them for showing up so short and people have no problem in taking photos with the dancers. In fact, everyone in the studio is really having fun.

"Uhm, Kurt? Do you want to take a picture with me?" Kitty asked blushing as 17 years old rarely do. Kurt did accept and a selfie is made. His sister waves at him and says he has to go to a meeting.

"Is a bit strange how the first dancer group got food poising," Rogue said and Kurt only mentions how the other group is with their health and his sister said they are alright. "But I meet Kitty, I can see why you wanted to bring her first, they all are very talented and Kitty is such a cutie thing" this is enough to make Kurt smiles for real.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city Mara, Kurt´s craziest fangirl, is arrested for food poisoning a dancer group that should be attending on Kurt´s newest movie. All she declares. "I did out of love"

Simon VS. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli: Even if you saw the movie already, the book is like a different storyline. They’re super close but very different and I literally can’t decide which I prefer

It by Stephen King: I’m not actually the biggest horror fan of all time but after seeing the movie, I fell in love with this idea. I’m only about half way through the novel version, but there is something insane about the way Stephen King writes. He truly understands human’s on a level not many people do, or at least understands them enough to REALLY draw out the true horror of the world. I don’t know man, it’s a good fucking book. 

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley: Actually though, i re-read this after having read it 6 years ago, and holy shit this is actually amazing. I love this novel. Frankenstein is… a fascinating story. 

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak: Seriously fucking amazing. It’s about a little girl growing up in Nazi Germany only it’s told from Death’s point of view, and I know what you’re thinking - how the fuck? But holy shit it is a fucking crazy good story, and the character of Death had me hooked on the first page

The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski: One of my all time favorite books. It’s kind-of sort-of the story of Hamlet, but with a totally different modern revamp. The main character is mute, was born mute, and his closet relationship is with his dog. His mom marries his uncle after his father dies in a fire, and.. well. It’s just incredibly beautiful and amzing.

The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind: Look. This is the longest book series I have ever read. I used to spend every second of every day reading these books. But if you’re a fantasy fan, and huge word counts don’t scare you, then good LORD is this the series for you. I think back on this series so fucking often, and I’ve read certain books in it like, six times each. Currently, my mom has my copies or I would be READING IT AGAIN since this series hass been on my mind alot again. Again, it’s super long. I think currently we’re on book like… 27. I googled it. holy shit it’s grown since I last picked it up. The best part about this series is 1. You can technically stop at any point because each book has a relatively good ending that will keep you satisfied (except book 1 and 2, you really have to finish 3 while youre at it). 2. They reflect the modern world so well sometimes you’re just godamn wow. Seriously. If you love fantasy, please give it a try. It’s worth it. 

The Host by Stephanie Meyer: Look, I know what you’re all going to say. Twilight was terrible, why would we read this? Listen, LISTEN I actually love The Host. It was really well done, and it definitely Stephanie Meyer’s better novel. The movie adaptation sucked ass but I actually DO still read this book over and over again. It’s a sci-fi novel about alien’s coming to Earth and taking over host bodies. They do this on lots of planets, and Earth is their newest requistion. It’s also the only planet to fight back well enough that the aliens actually think they might win. It’s not as weird as it sounds. It’s a love story, and it goes far more in depth with the meaning of life and stuff like that then Twilight could dream of, so give it a try. 

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood: Actually amazing. I read it for class like… idek, 5 years ago maybe? When I heard it was getting it’s own show I was like !!!! but I haven’t actually watched the show version yet, so I have no idea how it compares to the novel. The novel is fucking amazing though. Legit made me cry. However, if you have a sexual trauma or trigger, this might be a difficult read in some select parts :/ Still fucking worth it times ten. I literally bought the book when my class was over, it was so good (the teacher actually, actually handed out copies, how insane is that? She was amzing)

Beloved by Toni Morrison: FUCK SO GOOD. I’ve read it twice, both times around school, and got to write papers on it twice as well. This is… this is one hell of a book. Both times I read it, I got so much more of it than the first time. THERE IS SO MUCH TO UNPACK. It’s about a former slave whose haunted by the baby daughter she killed to prevent her children from ending up slaves as well. This was just before slavery was abolished, as well, and while her baby daughter died, her other three kids lived. However, now her home is haunted, and the baby ACTUALLY comes back. It’s crazy and amazing and one of my favorite novels of all time. I can’t pick favorites guys, okay, but I love this one so fucking much. 

Pellinor Series by Alison Croggon: Listen. Listen. I read this book when I was in high school immediately after I hurt my back so bad I was stuck in bed for a week, and literally continue to have issues with too this day. I CANNOT TELL YOU what the fucking plot was, and apparently there are 2 more books in the series that I didn’t know about, BUT I LOVED AND ADORED THIS BOOK OKAY IT WAS A WONDERFUL FANTASY NOVEL AND IT HAS A FEMALE LEAD ALRIGHT ITS GREAT JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT AND READ IT

Uglies Series by Scott Westserfeld: I remember finally getting my hands on this series and reading it in like, two days. Idk. It was great. If you can’t tell, I love fantasy and sci-fi and horror, which all mesh together horribly and you can never tell them apart. This isn’t horror though, just the other two. It’s about a world where when people turn a certain age, they get to become a “pretty’ which means to have surgery done to make them look perfect - only the reason for this is to dumb down society. Read it. I love it. 

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead: I love vampire novels. If you couldn’t tell, this is a vampire novel. It’s one of my preferred series though, I think Mead did an amazing job crafting the world she crafts. Vampires aren’t under wraps, nor are they inherently evil, but they do work in a really weird system where you have the Special vampires who the other vampires protect, and then like the bodyguard vampires. I can’t fully remember, it’s been a long time. But regardless, I remember this being one of the few novel series that made me cry, and I still love it to this day. 

Harry Potter by JK Rowling: I thought this was such a give in that I didn’t put it on the list until now but actually like. Super good. I grew up in this series and sometimes I talk about it and remember I’m 24 cause some people I know have never read it and IT WAS LITERALLY MY CHILDHOOD. Still think it’s worth it, even as I poke more and more holes in the story, because the older you get, the more you start to recognize problematic things. Clearly, Harry Potter was meant for children, not an adult who wants to critize everything. GOOD READ THOUGH

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell: I grew up the girl writing fanfiction hid away in the back of the class because I didn’t want anyone to know. I look up to the people older than me at the time who developed and crafted the world we live in now, where Fanfiction is almost acceptable. Reading this novel... brought me right back to the Harry Potter days when the fandom was sitll new, underground, and ao3 didn’t exist. Honestly... it’s a really good book, and really hits home for people like me who write fanfiction and want nothing more than to write novels one day. 

Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin: But actually the books are really good. I fucking adore the show and that’s what got me into the books, but the books are HELLA good. Weirdly, Daenery’s Targaryen is not the most well written character ever, and I blame it on Martin being a guy, becasue sometimes I actually hate her in the novels (seriously, he makes her sound... like a child, which I guess she kind of is) BUT one of my favorite things in the novel is that her husband Khal Drogo does not sexually assault her in the novels. He’s super sweet and good to her, and honestly just. Yep. Yeah. Good series.

What Happened to Lani Garver by Carol Plum Ucci: The most heartwrenching book of all time. I can’t tell you how long I cried over this book. I’m literally getting tearful as I think about it. It is... fucking BEAUTIFUL. I want to read it right this fucking second. It’s about a girl who was in remission from cancer, but who joins the cheerleading team. Only, shes technically too tall to be a cheerleader, so she gets an ED which actually puts her at risk for remission. She meets Lani Garver - the literal emodiment of a nonbinary person before that term every existed. Lani Garver is... a fucking angel. An actual angel okay. They help the main character through so much, specifically bullying, and Lani taught ME so much when I read it. The author refers to Lani as he, but remember that it was written before nonbinary was an accepted (possible even before it was a fully labeled) thing, but the book is SO worth reading. I. I’m going to go read it again. 

Streams of Babel and it’s sequel The Fire Will Fall by Carol Plum Ucci: I originally read the second novel first on accident, which just goes to show you how good an author Ucci is becasue I didn’t even NOTICE until I got to the end and saw there was a first novel, oops. But, its a take on the lives of 4 kids in a situation of chemical warfare, and what happens to them when they get poisoned by the water. I think one of the kids is a fucking comptuer genius. Idk, I can’t fully remember, but it is one of my favorite novels, so check them out. 

I’m like 100% that there’s more I could list but those are the ones I could currently recall BECAUSE THIS IS A MONUMENTAL TASK AND I LOVE BOOKS

Ethical Consumption of Woobie Villains Under Late Stage Capitalism

*cracks open the cellar door and crawls out of the shadows*

Hi, I want to talk about a very delicate, complex and startlingly revolutionary topic today. 

Is it ethically permissible to like villains and write fic about them crying pretty and getting fucked? Hmmm. Hard to say. Doing so might make you a problematic person. Wow, this really is the great moral question of our times, isn't it?

(It's not, actually.)

So yeah, of course it's ethically permissible to like villains, and the fact that there is discourse in both fandom and mainstream media crit reminding us constantly that: "Something You Might Have Missed In The Newest Disney Franchise Movie: The Bad Guys Are Bad And The Good Guys Are Good, A Startlingly Revolutionary And Feminist Narrative!" is deeply discouraging to me as a writer, as a consumer of media, as a human being with the ability to observe, absorb and synthesize information.

It seems like there is far more focus right now on looking directly at what characters say and do as a method to extract substance from a text without asking what it means that they say and do those things, and what the author is trying to accomplish or make you think by making the characters say and do those things.

That is to say, people are looking at what the text """says""", not what is says.

This is probably a natural result of what I'm gonna flippantly refer to as the "YA-ification" of mainstream media, that is: the rise of dominant nerd culture and "identity" being exploited by capitalism in concert with massive campaigns of media conglomeration creating a situation in which popular media is becoming increasingly homogenized and "safe".

But I don't really want to talk about that directly. I want to talk about why I think specifically Villain Discourse(tm) is a prime symptom of this and why I think it's a good example to show the problem with viewing pop culture through this kind of lens.

So, like, when "Media Consumption = Identity" hits fandom, it gains another dimension, which is the link of media consumption to personal morality. We've seen a profane marriage between these two laterally related concepts over the last few yeas that has broken down into smaller and smaller battlefields until it's no longer just about what shows you watch, it's about what characters you like in the shows. Good pure fans like "Hero Character", bad impure fans like "Villain Character".

Captain America is "good". He's a "cinnamon roll", a "non-toxic male", a "golden retriever", a "soft pure hero", a "feminist friendly hero". Loki is bad and greasy and a Villain and Silly Fangirls Need To Understand He's Bad. Every time a male hero doesn't, idk, explicitly call his female co-star misogynistic slurs, fandom and nerd media fall over themselves to act like it's the most Important Story Ever Told and it's an incredibly pressing issue to make sure everyone understands that the people who oppose the hero are Not Good, because the fans out there drawing fanart of the bad guy must not have gotten the message!

My problem here is that this kind of criticism is explicitly buying into the moral and political framework of a story, rather than viewing the story through your *own* moral framework and synthesizing it in a meaningful way. It limits analysis to playing by the rules that these $300 million blockbusters want you to play by.

For example, the idea that Captain America as presented in the MCU (or any character in big, colourful PG rated popcorn flick for that matter) is a new, revolutionary, un-problematic kind of hero is how we saw so many people unblinkingly and uncritically swallow 'The Winter Soldier' as some politically rebellious masterstroke of leftist defiance when it was actually a very careful, very safe, very neoliberal script that took tepid aim at something everyone agrees is bad (the Patriot Act) without offering any substantial commentary or praxis and while *still* stroking off American exceptionalism and perpetuating the inherently reactionary message of superhero vigilantism. 

That's my take at least. So why should I accept that people who like Steve Rogers are "better" and "more moral" than people who like [hot villain of the week], when I think that the entire thematic foundation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is suspect and against my personal politics?

I'm not saying 'The Winter Soldier' is bad and you're bad for liking it, I'm saying that I think the conversation we had about it as a culture was exactly the conversation Disney wanted us to have about it. The idea that these are "important" statements, that these black & white, a-thematic stories told in broad strokes across multi-million dollar canvasses are meaningful moral constructs is what Disney and similar companies want you to think. Literally NO ONE needs to be *told* who the Good Guys are and who the Bad Guys are in a PG rated mainstream franchise. 

You can, and should, glean real life context and messages from even simplistic narratives, but that kind of analysis needs to be applied outside the Good Guy/Bad Guy paradigm of the text itself. Yeah, sure, there's something to be said about Kylo Ren's arc in light of how young men are being radicalized by extremist movements targeting their loneliness and emotional instability, but that interpretation existing doesnt mean that people who like him better than the heroes are stupid. They aren't being tricked or duped, they aren't morally suspect and they aren't committing an act of irresponsible text misinterpretation on the level of, say, not realizing that Humbert Humbert is a monster. 

Not all fiction is a morality tale, and not all fiction SHOULD be a morality tale and not all people should be obligated to react to morality tales the way the morality tale wants to be reacted to 100% of the time. Treating morality tales  as these earth-shattering, profound commentaries that must be obeyed absolutely and drawing lines regarding personal integrity based on whether people like Good Space Wizards or Evil Space Wizards is creating a critical atmosphere in which the "good" being presented to us isn't being questioned at all.

And that, imo, is way, waaaay more alarming than people on the internet writing ship fics about Kylo Ren's big wibbly lips.

“Are we actually going to put this on YouTube?” Hyunjin asks with a weary expression on his face. Changbin, practically exploding with excitement, nods with so much enthusiasm that his hair falls all out of position as he hands Hyunjin a pastel pink coloured hoodie.

“It’s going to be so cute. Our little Hyunjinnie dancing to Twice, think about how cute you will look!” Changbin says, before springing off to hand Jeongin the baby blue hoodie. Chan had made all the boys learn three Twice songs - Heart Shaker, Likey, and TT - but had failed to tell them why. Then this morning as they headed to the dance studio for practise, JYP had sprung them himself and broke the news.

The reaction had been a real mixed bag; Changbin, Woojin, Jisung and Felix had practically screamed with excitement, Seungmin and Jeongin were shell shocked, Minho and Hyunjin had practically crumbled at the concept. Cute had never been Hyunjin’s thing, and Minho had visions of his career ending because he imitated one of the girls wrong.

This was in honour of celebrating Twice’s newest comeback, What is Love, and the release of Stray Kid’s debut. They had debuted about a month ago now, and were coming towards the end of the promotions for District 9, so apparently JYP thought this would be an amazing opportunity. Chan - being the obnoxious, stubborn leader he could be - agreed to the idea, knowing how each member would react.

“It could be worse, Hyunjinnie,” Jeongin says as they step into the White Room, which has been decorated by Twice themselves - they had thought the concept was an incredible as Chan had, and asked if they could decorate it with various soft bears, streamers and fairy lights. “They could’ve made us wear dresses!” The thought itself makes Hyunjin collapse to the floor, already ready to give up.

As much as he hated the idea, Minho couldn’t help but admit how good the girls were at designing. The massive teddy bear in the corner seemed to watch them all, and it put Hyunjin even more on edge when Jeongin joked about Tzuyu from Twice hiding in there.

The boys were allowed to listen and practise the songs once before they recorded the whole thing, and Woojin and Felix couldn’t be more excited. Woojin had recently dyed his hair platinum blonde again, matching Felix, and with his blue cardigan - that he had chosen himself - and Felix’s pastel blue beanie and matching hoodie, the boys were definitely going for the cute theme. Changbin had also picked out a knitted purple and white cardigan, and where the boys had found them was beyond Chan.

Seungmin and Jeongin at this point were now buzzing with nervous energy - all nine of the Stray Kids had a huge amount of respect for Twice as their ‘older sisters’ in the company, and Chan was particularly close with them after having trained with many of them for so many years. As a result, it definitely made the members want to impress them with their dance skills; especially the younger members.

“It could be much worse actually, Hyunjin,” Felix says, hugging the older boy from behind and looking at Hyunjin with a big grin, “they could make you sing as well. Imagine that-”

“Is it too late for me to un-debut?” Hyunjin asks, making the other eight boys and several cameramen around the room laugh. Minho just shakes his head, getting into position for the first song they’d be performing, Heart Shaker. Jisung would be starting the song, and was bouncing on the spot with nervous energy, ready to show the world what he was really capable - the cutest of cute girl group concepts. His strawberry blond hair had been styled long and messy today, making him look even cuter than usual.

Hyunjin and Minho are forced against their wills into the positions, and the music starts before they are even all ready. As usual, Jisung gives it his all, acting far too cute for the world to hand. This practise is fairly quiet as the boys are all focused on getting the dance right - and as soon as they are done, the music is started again and the camera’s are switched on.

“Let’s go boys!” Chan says before the music starts, and Hyunjin has to stifle his groan of complaint into the pink of the hoodie. The song is fast, the dance too cute, and Felix can’t help but squeal as the chorus comes up.

When Chan has to run up and wrap his arms around Felix’s waist for the dance move, Woojin squeals so high-pitched that Seungmin, Jeongin and Chan all burst into laughter. Hyunjin and Minho, despite their discontentment, can’t help but smile as well at the madness they call their group.

The dance goes really smoothly somehow, with Changbin ending it by exclaiming how adorable Hyunjin was. This was followed by Chan thanking Minho for being cooperative, and Jeongin jumping on Hyunjin to attack him in a hug.

“You better get me the biggest portion of chicken nuggets following this, Chan,” Hyunjin warns as Likey begins to play, and Jeongin squeals in excitement - this is definitely his favourite Twice song, and after spending a whole afternoon rehearsing it with Twice himself just in order to get it perfect, he is determined to prove how cute he can be.

“And I want full control over the television tonight,” Minho grunts before the practise dance starts. As usual, Jisung, Changbin and Jeongin ace the cuteness of the dance, but Minho seems to have the actual dance itself down - if the world didn’t know better, they would’ve said he had choreographed the dance for Twice himself.

When the actual recording for Likey starts, Jeongin cranks the adorableness up to full and definitely steals the show with his cute expressions, finger hearts and squeals. Even Seungmin and Felix begin fangirling over how adorable he is, bringing a smile to Hyunjin’s face. Minho does the centre solo dance, making Chan, Woojin and Changbin scream when he gets it perfect. Jeongin also has the dance perfect, all the effort that he put in to impressing the girls paying off well.

For the third dance, TT, the Twice girls show up themselves with fancy-dress hats and various other costume outfits. Seungmin joins Minho and Hyunjin in the groan that escapes them as a collective at the thought of dressing up.

“You told me there would be no dresses!” Hyunjin explodes, turning to an evil looking Changbin who is already dressing in the bunny ears and soft white fur coat from Dahyun. He just shrugs in response, before winking at Hyunjin and handing him the green skirt, pearl necklace and starfish hair accessory from Chaeyoung.

The entire group adds fuel to the fire by laughing at the outfit that Hyunjin has ended up with, the mermaid costume. Hyunjin is so close to refusing and just terminating his contract with JYP right there and then, but stops when Jeongin walks over, already dressed in the navy hat and sparkling navy cape of Tzuyu’s outfit.

He takes the skirt, which is a weird sequin zip-up skirt, and pulls it around Hyunjin’s waist. With his black, ripped skinny jeans underneath and the pink jumper, Hyunjin was definitely redefining fashion. Then he clasps the pearls around his neck and, puts the starfish clip in his hair, and gives him a proud smile.

“Just one song, Hyunjinnie, you can do this,” Jeongin says, before turning to help Felix fix the hat on to his hair. Hyunjin takes in a deep breath, that he holds on to for the entirety of the song. He is beyond ready for this, and if he is still a member of Stray Kids afterwards, he better be getting a huge thank you from his bandmates.

The song starts, and with the skirt, it’s nearly impossible for Hyunjin to dance. Instead he focuses on how ridiculous that Changbin looks, prancing around in his bunny outfit, and laughing at that instead. It’s easier than realising this performance could ruin his image.

The song takes a thousand years to pass, but when it does, he does not hesitate to unzip the skirt, pull off his hoodie, and collapse on the floor. The Twice members are all making an effort to coo even louder at Hyunjin, with his Stray Kids members doing the same as Minho and Seungmin collapse beside him. Chan takes a photo, posting it to the Stray Kids Instagram with a caption of “Just wait!” and a bunch of heart emojis.

“This is how my career ends,” Seungmin cries into the floor, “In a devils outfit.” Hyunjin can’t help but snort in laughter; whilst he probably looked like a clown wearing the starfish hairpiece and jewellery, at least he wasn’t entirely dressed in a short red dress over his jeans and a devil’s headpiece.

Much to the three despaired boys’ delight, some of the Twice members return with Hyunjin and Minho’s specific requests; a huge bucket of chicken nuggets, and the television remote with Minho’s name on it. Hyunjin disappears to beside the huge teddy bear whilst eating his nuggets and letting the other boys mock each other for their outfits, and Minho is defending the television remote for his life from a pirate-dressed Woojin.

Jeongin spends a long time at Seungmin’s side, still wearing the navy cloak and poking his friend, waiting for Seungmin to come out of his grieving mood and actually realise how cute he looked throughout the video.

“If we aren’t given an award after this, I’m quitting,” Seungmin says, sending all eighteen people in the room into fights of laughter as a result.
