this is unrelated to anything on here, but:

gods i love microsd cards. i love expandable storage. i love how cheap and abundant modern storage is in general. i love how many lossless music files you can fit on a phone. i love being able to carry around several blu-rays worth of media in my pocket. i love having half a terabyte of storage in something the approximate size and thickness of a fingernail, if you flattened one out. i love being able to use a sim-ejector tool to access a little slide on my device and add hundreds of gigabytes of storage. i love not being beholden to my device manufacturer or otherwise needing to buy a new [thing] if i want to have more storage space.

fuck anyone who wants to get rid of microsd card slots. fuck anyone who wants to force people to buy new phones/tablets/etc. when they run out of space instead of spending $20 on a microsd card. fuck anyone who wants to take away what i consider to be an essential festure.

evil leafy does care for fries, but she continuously makes efforts to push him away because she refuses to believe his care for her is genuine. he keeps coming back, and it frustrates her.

for a while, fries only recognizes her to be what she presents herself as. a monster. he even encourages her to be that way. but, inevitably, her mask begins to slip the more time they spend together, revealing traces of the softer side that was, if only briefly, present in the days of team no-name.

and she doesn’t want him to see it.

It's not my fault!! I just designated a patch to grow and forgot about it because the agrihand mechs do everything with the garden. The only crops the Jones boys grow are rice (for the nutrient paste dispenser), coffee beans (the most important one), psychoid (to make yayo so our neighbours will overlook our blatant ocean-polluting), haygrass (for our animals), and tinctoria (for the dye to make the base look lovely). EDIT: I forgot, they also grow sugarcane to make their dalgona coffee!

This ask reminds me that it might be time to cut back on the tinctoria and plant more psychoid or haygrass instead... Whoops.

Reunion dinner went late and ended with a bang (literally) — so everyone is more than happy to enjoy a sleepy Lunar New Year morning at home, sipping coffee in the new living room (!!!) and enjoying reunion dinner leftovers for brunch.

we finally got our house cleared out, and like, there was so much junk, and sure it was like 900 to get rid of all of it, but it was so worth it. i can breathe again. i'm sure this happens to other people, but mess, especially in medium-large piles, looks (to me) like a physical manifestation of the stress i am feeling. if the mess is gone, i feel less stressed.

PS5 Pro is a joke. €800, no disc drive and no vertical stand included. Also why is it 800 euros in Europe while it is 700 dollars in the US?! The difference between US dollars and the Euro is not that big? One dollar is even slightly less than one euro. Wth. Was never gonna upgrade anyway but damn this is ridiculous. Also apparently the disc drive is like 120 euros?!

today i will admit i have allowed myself some fall spirit. do you know how many years it's been. i started listening to an audiobook with spooky season ambiance. thought about leaves changing colour. stared dreamily at my plaid wool skirts. realised i don't have to buy a fleece and can just buy an assortment of wool sweaters.
