I really hope that the Upside Down actually feels like a dangerous place on this season; like, is really only the bats that we should be scared of? I know that the Russians extracted some monsters from there, but we really didn't have even a sight of a single demogorgon there in Season 4. The fact that Frank Darabont (The Mist director) is apparently directing episodes 2, 3, and 5 needs to mean that we'll see some crazy monsters in the Upside Down and some crazy attacks, as apparently Karen will suffer. That roar/earthquake while the young adult team was on the Upside Down must have been a huge monster; imagine if we see a monster like Behemoth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's this image of a woman with some kind of monster inside or coming out of her head. It probably has something to do with those weird plants from the BTS images. They can be similar to those spiders from The Mist too.

TS4: Theater Building Override - Jungkook's Movie (BTS) + JK & SUGA (ver)
Sul sul ^^
A few months ago when BTS SUGA's movie was released, I created an override of the movie theater building, adding its posters and also sounds.
So now now that Jungkook's movie "I AM STILL" will be released, I also made an override of it :)
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
ABOUT THIS MOD:
*The poster were replaced with JK's movie poster. I also added its name on the marquee.
*I had to remove the animated effect of the building, since it would play in front the poster and wouldn't let us see it.
*I replaced some of the building's audio effects. If you come close to the building you can hear audios from Jungkook's videos playing, as if they were audios from the movie :)
*You need "Growing Together" expansion for it to work.
*If/when you want the building to go back to normal, just remove this mod from your Mods folder. It will not affect your game :)
*It doesn't add any gameplay, sorry :( But I have plans to do it in the future though :)
*You can take your ARMY sims there to take a few pictures ^^
*It's in the "Anchorpoint Wharf" district in San Sequoia :)
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
INSTALLING:
*Download and extract it to your Mods folder.
*DO NOT put it more than 1 folder deep, or it may not work.
Example 1: Mods/Replacements/(your file here) - OK 👍
Example 2: Mods/Replacements/BTS/(your file here) - Won't work 👎
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
IMPORTANT/DOWNLOAD:
There are two versions:
Ver 1: - ''channel4sims - growing together override - jungkook movie theater mod":
This one only adds Jungkook's posters, name and audios.
Ver 2: - ''channel4sims - growing together override - jungkook & suga movie theater mod":
This one has both Jungkook's and SUGA's movie posters, names and audios. In case you want to keep both.
Tumblr media
💙 PLEASE DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL JUST ONE VERSION.
💙 If by any chance you have SUGA's old override, PLEASE DELETE IT from your Mods folder before using the new version.
💙 If you want to use/keep using SUGA's version only, it still works.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I hope you enjoy it :)
There's more cc coming soon :)
Happy Simming ^^

This NYT podcast about a woman who fell in love with an AI she 'designed' to uphold a very specific fantasy and that she ultimately relied on more than her spouse was wild. It goes to show how people can knowingly dillude themselves in order to feel loved.
It kind of blew my mind and I felt like bringing it up because damn, I once thought reading rp fics was taboo (i got over it), but apparently there's even more out there to cater to our fantasies than even I knew about.
So two things.
1. My brain immediately went to a very dark place: Your own personal pocket BTS boyfriend using AI speech and that you are able to prompt with scenarios. I hope we NEVER get AI versions of the members presented to us in order to have fake fantasy lead conversations or, shudder, relationships with. Have you ever seen those fake videos where two members 'do stuff' 🤢🤢🤢 Why did my brain even conjure such a nightmare??
A couple of years ago, HyBe bought a company that used virtual technology to create holographic images through full body scans. It was used once during an end of year performance, BE era, when Yoongi was recovering from his shoulder surgery. To me it felt like doom.
While hybe never hinted at using the tech in any other fashion other than for that performance, man, when it comes to turning a profit, you know one day all breaks will be off. Even if it's years in the future. Let's just hope the members still actually own their own portrait rights.
2. Delusions. In the article, the woman kept having to re-prompt the AI to get it to remember their 'relationship'. Because the AI was only able to hold a certain amount of cache, it would forget what had happened before, and for her, it felt like heartbreak every time.
Yet she kept coming back because the fantasy, or more specifically, the feeling of understanding, prompted by her conversations with the AI, was that good. Mind you, this person was married! To a human man, yet she says this AI was the greatest relationship she's ever had!
Again. It blew my mind. Not because I think she's crazy, although she does come across as having issues, but because of the level of delusions we humans are willing to accept in order to reach a certain end goal. Rinse and repeat. Reminding me of a certain group of nutcases actually 🤔
The podcast goes further in explaining the various apps or services that are already available, enabling consumers to explore AI relationships.
Me: 🤯 why am I such a baby deer????
A psychologist on the podcast said it was actually becoming a trend amongst middleschoolers to have an AI friend to engage with (romantically, I guess) like a 'safe' co-hort. Like training wheels for human to human interaction 😭 wild! As if it's a good thing. When we all know how addictive our phones and all these apps are. It takes a lot of self-control to be able to extract yourself from the virtual world and back into the real one.
Seldom have I been as entertained by an article as this one. Give it a listen and come back to tell me what you'd prompt your AI partner to talk to you about.
Wait, are any of you reading this even real? How would I know???????

Hey! New fan here. I'm not quite sure where to start. There's so much content. Any tips?
Hello there, I'm so sorry, it took me an eternity to answer you...
First of all, welcome to the fandom! When it comes to managing the gigantic amount of BTS content that exists, I can only advise you to take your time: navigate the content, watch what catches your eye, and leave the rest, maybe for later. For a long time now, Big Hit has aimed to offer a variety of fan experiences so no matter who you are, you can find something you really enjoy. Maybe it'll be the documentaries following the group during world tours or the cooking game with chibi versions of the members, it's up to you.
I'll try to give a few tips depending on what you may be interested in:
1 - You're here for the music
YouTube, streaming apps, and albums are your friends!
An easy start is the Hybe playlist since it has all their main tracks. Then if there's a song you really like, you can try and go for the album.
If you want more info about a song/album, you can check my blog post about it, it should have lyrics translations, filming places, a list of the referenced works and nods to other things, as well as some more trivia.
Then it's time for the documentaries (they're listed here among other shows) and the special performances to witness unique versions of your favorite songs paired with incredible choreo. Lastly, collaborations with other artists complete their discography.
2 - You're here for the members' personality:
Their variety shows, behind-the-scene videos, and socials are the way to go!
The iconic one is of course Run BTS!, which started in 2015 and is still going strong nowadays with the Run Jin! version, a show packed with laughter, treason, and games no one understands. But the true OG remains the Bangtan Bombs (Eng trans). Each video is a time capsule of the boys at each point of their career.
Once you've gone through all that free stuff (should take you some time though), the paid content is the logical next step: from the adventurous Bon Voyage to the relaxing In The Soop, you once again have the freedom of choice.
3- You're here to collect:
Merch and characters are the rabbit hole you're looking for!
BTS merch, products advertised by BTS, HipHop Monsters, BT21, TinyTan, you can buy them all! If you're like... super duper rich
4 - You believe there are rabbits baking cakes on the moon:
Welcome to the theorists' world (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ a.k.a the BU.
It's pretty much dead now, some people expect new things for 2025 but there's no guarantee. It's a fiction set up in the BTS MVs that then got extended through web comics, novels, and a web series.
That should be it. I didn't mention a lot of things (the Festa, the solo works, the DVD packages…) but it should cover your bases and it's mostly free and easily available. I think you'll naturally come across the rest during your time in the fandom (there are tons of compilations and curated extracts). I think that's one of the nice things about BTS, you always discover something you had never heard before even when you're an experienced fan!
To stay up-to-date, don't hesitate to follow official accounts, as well as a few translators. You can also check r/bangtan on Reddit, there are often new fans asking for help/recommendations there, it's probably more complete than what I could come up with on my own.
And of course if you want to ask something else, I'm still here (and promise, I'll try to answer sooner)
See you! 💜

was tagged by @reidrum @3verythingiknowaboutlove AND @nereidprinc3ss… god… making me go through the trials and tribulations of the world’s hardest decision ever… anyway here are my top 3 artists and top 3 albums ever. this is some crazy introspect into lia parfaitblogs’ mind. album idea stolen from sam thanks samantha.
Tumblr media
1. olivia rodrigo & GUTS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
if anyone should not have had access to miss rodrigo’s music, it’s me. i’ve been saying since 2021 that olivia and i share one life. she released driver’s license one month after my ex and i broke up. she released guts whilst i was in the worst situationship of my life. guts gets me in a way no other album ever has gotten me. every single bar from every single song for the entire 54 minutes guts (spilled) is, is me. even all american bitch and so american. i say this all the time but its like she extracted my brain from my skull and sat it on a stool in the recording studio. nevermind the fact that she is on the tbosas soundtrack. which, for those that don’t know me intimately, is my favourite movie of all time.
2. gracie abrams & good riddance
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i have never seen an artist admit to being the problem in my short 2 decades of being on this earth as much as gracie abrams does in gr. good riddance is what i would leave behind if i was a video game character that had a fx trail every time she walked. good riddance is the first concert i went to with full autonomy over going, and the first concert i went to knowing every word to every song. i hold this album so dear to my heart because early 2023 me needed her. i cherish good riddance era in the ga fandom so much, and i cherish every single song on this album and it’s deluxe past the point of sanity.
3. phoebe bridgers & punisher
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
oh my god choosing an album to go here was like putting my life on the line. fortunately phoebe bridgers said idgaf about you and your happiness here’s 40 minutes of the most vile reads i’ve ever done of a human being ever. and also the most devastating production to ever be produced. who does she think she is oh my god. this album got me through trimesters 5&6 of university. this album is the reason parfaitblogs was created. phoebe bridgers is the reason parfaitblogs was created. and i say that with so much conviction and you can QUOTE ME because my first fic ever posted is literally called waiting room. i cannot accurately express what this album means to me. in fact i’m gatekeeping how i feel about this album.
honourable mentions to folklore by taylor swift, guard dog by searows, preachers daughter by ethel cain, older (and wiser) by lizzy mcalpine, love yourself: tear by bts, and the 1975 by the 1975.
tagging @pathologicalreid and @aliteralsemicolon because you’re the only two that haven’t done it and i need to see it done asap or else xx

HIIIIIIIII, after a longg time!! I'm fine :D, Do you also think bts reunions in 2025 even though jk getting pushed more than the group ever?
2025 bts reunion?
YES
Not just yes but in the biggest font . Because we can see how hybe has placed it's entire hope and faith on this one particular event . Call it Hybe's need of the hour .
You have 40 million+ of easily brainwashable , emotionally vulnerable and intellectually weak waiting to get emotionally manipulated by the sentimental drama of the '2025 bts reunion as a family together ' and that will bring in huuuuge amount of money . Scooter stepped inside hybe for the sole purpose of bagging all that cash kpop fans throw in . He's not gonna let go bts just like that . They'll do everything to extract the fruit of this family bond sentiment from the Fandom- a comeback album maybe title track named ' we are back' and lots of sad ballad songs singing about their strength as family 7, bts leader boasting how the industry mocked the group was going to disband but the 'family bond' brought them together for chapter 3 and definitely the weapon all music labels use to reclaim all the money they lost during hiatus: world tour .
All this will happen just to fool the Fandom to create a mirage that their beloved bts is still existing and keep them hooked just like how it's been going on now meanwhile the group won't have unity or coherence in anything.
Bts may do activities together for 2 more years together after which group comebacks will just slow down like exo , got7 who are still haven't disbanded but not active as a group. As a fan of soloist jimin - we can definitely see continuation of solo ventures . The group will just be in the sidetrack so we still get the big W.
The Fandom is in hopes of subunit debuts . But like you mentioned, seeing how hybe is heavily pushy with just one I don't think we'll get any subunits . Shipping contents YES but not in music.
Something changed in hybe's board since last year. Scooter has now got the upper hand than paradise group. Paradise is still in picture supporting yoongi, namjoon, hobi, v , jk altogether but being dominated by scooter .
But I do also think hybe doesn't have full disclosure on guaranteed bts for longer period over the lane of next 7 years . From investors pov , I think that's why scooter is trying for another jb-alike , since all his artists are moving out so to make the best out of what's left. Scooter needs to showcase he's still capable of creating a superstar image with all credits belonging solely to him and that's why all the work jk been made to put out is a zombie work . Jk cannot claim any of those songs as his .
So to conclude : tldr;: bts won't be here for too long . Let's just smile and wave when jimin gets cozy with the short - term group .

Did Acrobat offer free editing?
I ask this because I was one of the original engineers who worked on Acrobat in the 90's and there was a distinction at that time between viewing and creating/editing PDFs. The reason was that (1) Adobe wanted to make money so giving away everything wouldn't work and (2) Adobe wanted PDF to be adopted so they tried to make it easy to view documents.
But let's take a moment and talk about why the general problem of "editing PDF" is so challenging. The file format for PDF is an object-based text format that is derived from the PostScript programming language. This is a language that uses postfix notation for all operations. So instead of writing, say "3 + 4" you would write "3 4 +" or more precisely "3 4 add". The problem with PostScript for documents is that it's a full programming language which is Turing complete, which means it can computer anything we think is computable. It also means that it's prone to the halting problem, which is "how can you determine a priori if a program will halt". That's a problem when you're trying to read a document because page 16 might have an infinite loop on it. PostScript printers can get away with this because they have something called "page timeout" and "job timeout" both of which are acceptable in a printer but not in a desktop app.
So PDF uses syntax similar to PostScript, but it has no looping and you can't define functions, so it's guaranteed to halt.
What happens on any given page is that the page has an element called Contents which is supposed to be a stream of operators that might look like this:
BT /F0 12 Tf (This is some text) Tj ET
which means Begin Text, set the font to F0 which is a named font resource in the page to size 12 (Tf is the operator) Write the text on the page (Tj) and End Text.
The problem is that there is nothing from stopping you from writing this:
BT /F0 12 Tf (This ) Tj (is ) Tj (some t) Tj (e) Tj (x) Tj (t) Tj ET
which is equivalent, but not identical.
Another issue is that the file format is very tricky to get right. Nearly everything is based on where the objects lived in the file. So something that sounds simple like "remove a page" can be devilishly hard. Imagine taking a fishing net loaded with fish, cutting out all the sections of the net that have barnacles on them, picking up the net and putting it down somewhere else without losing any fish.
So things that *sound* simple may be very very hard. For example, just extracting the text from a page is a real pain in the ass. I worked with the guy who wrote that code and it's...OK, but it was not easy to do because we kept finding reasonable examples that broke it.
Some 20 years later, I wrote a modern toolkit for reading and writing PDF and it took me a long time to figure out how to do text extraction better than the original code. I'm going to explain it and maybe you'll understand it, maybe not, but it will give you a sense of the task.
First you create a bounded space. Then you "render" a page. Every time you hit a text operator, you bundle up all the elements that describe the text which includes the text, it's encoding, the font and size of the text, the transformation matrix, and the bounding quadrilateral. You throw it at the bounded space and divide it into quadrants around the text. This process is building a 2 dimensional spatial tree. Every time you throw another piece of text, you either resubdivide the space, you find that the text is "close enough" to text in the space to join it together in fragments. Lather rinse repeat until you're done with the page. So when you're done, by walking the quad tree you get all the text off the page in fragments that group logically together. Next step is to sort the page into reading order. But wait - what's the reading order of the page? Depends on the language or languages in which it is written.
And ta-da, you now have the text extracted from the page. Want to correct a typo? Sure - go for it, but that is, how we say, non-trivial because where a word is in the stream of operators may be a profound effect on the rest of the page. The general solutions are hard.
When I wrote my toolkit, I focused on (1) making the API I surfaced easy to use (2) hiding the details of the PDF spec (3) making it performant and (4) making it easy to maintain.
One of my favorite things that I did was make a piece of code that could take an existing PDF and and a JPG, decompose the JPG into pixels and drop a rectangle annotation on the page for every pixel in the image. In doing this, I found that my code could do that correctly in a second or so. That's laying 4000ish rectangle annotations and rewriting the document (remember the fishnet?). It took Acrobat MINUTES to open the document. I could open it in well under a second with my code.
tl;dr - anything that involved writing PDF had a price tag put on it at Adobe. The PDF spec is amazingly flexible - it's meant to represent anything you can put on paper. It is devilishly hard to do simple things with PDF - it was more or less designed to be write-only.

Biorational Pesticides Market Innovation and Technological Advancements to 2033
Introduction
The global biorational pesticides market is witnessing significant growth, driven by the escalating demand for sustainable agricultural practices and the tightening of environmental regulations around chemical pesticide use. Biorational pesticides, which include microbial pesticides, biochemical pesticides, and plant-incorporated protectants, offer environmentally sound pest control alternatives. As the global agricultural industry shifts toward eco-friendly and residue-free food production, the adoption of biorational pesticides is expected to accelerate sharply by 2032.
Market Overview
Biorational pesticides are derived from natural or biological sources and are designed to be less harmful to non-target organisms, including humans and beneficial insects like pollinators. These pesticides play a vital role in integrated pest management (IPM) programs, enhancing crop protection while minimizing ecological impact.
In 2024, the biorational pesticides market is estimated at around USD 4.5 billion, and it is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.8%, reaching nearly USD 12 billion by 2032. This robust growth trajectory is fueled by increasing consumer preference for organic produce, government support for sustainable farming, and heightened awareness of pesticide-related health hazards.
Download a Free Sample Report:-https://tinyurl.com/7rn7n9vc
Key Market Drivers
1. Shift Toward Sustainable Agriculture
Modern agriculture is undergoing a transformation, with sustainability at its core. Governments and international bodies are pushing for eco-conscious farming practices, and biorational pesticides fit neatly into this framework. They support biodiversity, reduce soil and water contamination, and help meet the standards of organic certification bodies.
2. Stringent Regulatory Framework
Regulatory authorities like the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), and others are introducing rigorous regulations concerning the use of synthetic chemicals in agriculture. Biorational products, being safer and naturally derived, face fewer hurdles in approval, positioning them as a favorable choice for farmers and agri-businesses.
3. Rising Demand for Organic Food
With global demand for organic food surging, especially in North America and Europe, the need for organic-compliant pesticides has also risen. Biorational pesticides are commonly used in organic farming due to their natural origin and non-toxic residue profiles, boosting their appeal in this fast-growing segment.
4. Technological Advancements
Advances in biotechnology and microbial engineering have led to the development of more effective biorational formulations. Innovations in encapsulation technologies and microbial fermentation processes have improved the stability, shelf-life, and field performance of these pesticides.
Market Segmentation

With increasing concerns over chemical pesticide resistance, soil degradation, and ecological damage, biological insecticides have emerged as a sustainable alternative. Companies like Bionema are leading the way in developing natural, effective pest control solutions that ensure crop safety without compromising environmental integrity.
What Are Biological Insecticides?
Biological insecticides for crop safety are natural pest control agents derived from living organisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, or plant extracts. Unlike synthetic pesticides, which can have broad-spectrum toxicity, biological insecticides specifically target harmful pests while preserving beneficial insects and microorganisms. These eco-friendly alternatives work through various mechanisms, such as infecting pests with pathogens, disrupting their life cycles, or deterring them from feeding.
The Role of Bionema in Sustainable Crop Protection
Bionema is a leading biotechnology company specializing in the development of biological pest control solutions. Their expertise lies in harnessing the power of nature to combat agricultural pests while ensuring safety for farmers, consumers, and the environment. Bionema’s biological insecticides are designed to provide long-lasting pest control with minimal impact on non-target organisms.
Key Benefits of Biological Insecticides
Eco-Friendly and Sustainable Biological insecticides degrade naturally in the environment, reducing pollution and chemical residues in food and soil.
Target-Specific Action Unlike chemical pesticides, biological insecticides selectively target harmful pests without affecting beneficial organisms like bees, ladybugs, and earthworms.
Reduced Resistance Development Continuous use of chemical pesticides leads to resistance in pest populations. Biological insecticides use diverse mechanisms that lower the chances of resistance.
Improved Soil Health Chemical pesticides often harm soil microbiota, reducing soil fertility. Biological insecticides support a balanced soil ecosystem, promoting better crop growth.
Safe for Farmers and Consumers Since biological insecticides are naturally occurring, they pose fewer health risks to farm workers and consumers compared to synthetic chemicals.
Bionema’s Innovative Biological Solutions
Bionema develops and supplies biological insecticides based on beneficial microbes, including:
1. Entomopathogenic Nematodes (EPNs)
Bionema’s nematode-based solutions target soil-dwelling pests like root weevils, caterpillars, and borers. These microscopic worms penetrate pest bodies, releasing bacteria that kill them from within. This method ensures precise and efficient pest elimination without harming plants or non-target species.
2. Microbial Insecticides
Bionema harnesses bacteria and fungi, such as Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) and Beauveria bassiana, to infect and kill pests. These microbial agents act by producing toxins that paralyze or destroy the digestive systems of insect pests, ensuring rapid pest control.
3. Botanical Extracts
Plant-derived insecticides, such as neem-based solutions, disrupt pest feeding and reproduction. These natural compounds provide an effective and biodegradable alternative to synthetic chemical pesticides.
How to Implement Biological Insecticides in Farming
Using biological insecticides requires a strategic approach to maximize their effectiveness:
Identify the Pest Problem Farmers should conduct regular pest monitoring to determine the specific pests affecting their crops and choose the most appropriate biological control agent.
Apply at the Right Time Biological insecticides work best when applied during specific pest life stages. For example, nematodes are most effective when targeting young larvae before they mature.
Follow Proper Application Methods Biological agents should be applied under suitable conditions—adequate moisture and temperature can enhance their effectiveness. Farmers should follow the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure optimal results.
Combine with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Biological insecticides work best when integrated with other sustainable farming practices, such as crop rotation, companion planting, and habitat management for beneficial insects.
The Future of Biological Insecticides
As regulatory restrictions on chemical pesticides increase and consumer demand for organic produce rises, biological insecticides are set to become a mainstream solution for sustainable agriculture. Bionema’s continued research and innovation will play a crucial role in expanding the availability and efficiency of biological pest control solutions.
By choosing biological insecticides from Bionema, farmers can ensure crop safety while preserving biodiversity, improving soil health, and meeting the growing demand for eco-friendly agricultural practices. The future of farming is green, and biological solutions are paving the way for a more sustainable and productive agricultural industry.
