Mario Cart Besties

Or wild and Sky knew eachother in Mario cart.

Oh also I’m confusing yall with two Legends one of them is Wild one of them is Legend but Legend isn’t rlly relevant it will make sense trust me.

The coarse sound of carving slid  through the chosen hero’s fingers as the once bland block of wood took shape. Another one? He knew Zel- Sun, would say. Sometimes his mind wanders back to how the new-Hyrule was doing. As much as he loves her, Sky still thinks it should be called Linkrule, as he technically was the one who got Skyloft down in the first place, but he won’t argue, Sun really does know best, she’s a leader at heart.

“Aye sleepyhead look at that!” Legend’s familiar gruff voice rang through the forest, “Wild’s got a unicorn machine- or something?!” 

…

“You’re telling me you’re going to race on that?” Link couldn’t hide back a smirk, “At least let me help you get on, for Hylia’s sake-“

“I heard that Link! Don’t slander my name!” Zelda yelled from the bleachers, flaunting a faux scowl, “But help the poor boy out!” Yup, she may be Hylia but still is his Zelda at heart. Link flashed an innocent grin as he ran over to the other.

“Please, let me help you up, you look like you’re going to topple over.” He sighed, “I’m Link by the way, what’s yours?” 

The boy scrunched his nose and gave him a skeptical look, “What do you mean your name is Link, that’s mine.” Wow, other Link was rude. “I mean then again, I’m seeing a short red colored man riding Din knows what, so I guess I shouldn’t judge.” Other Link adjusted his glove, revealing a small spark of triangular shaped light. 

“Legend,” the Skyloftian gasped, reviving a confused look from the other, “Can I call you Legend? You know, because you’re also a hero of Legend?” 

Other Link - now dubbed Legend flashed a mischievous grin, “Only if I can call you Master Shortpants.” He tossed over a postcard, “It looks like it’s for you, and it’s from LD something.” 

Master Shortpants returned the smile, “Alright Legend.” 

…

Final race, Hyrule Circuit. The chosen hero marveled at how advanced the world around him has become, standing at Third, Legend in second, really puts into perspective the true art behind these races.

“Ready Master Shortpants?” 

“Only if you are, Legend.” 

…

“Hey,” Sky stood up from his seat, and reached into his pocket, “Remember this?” A flash of gold flickered in the champion’s eyes as he gazed into the trophy. 

“Master Shortpants?” Wild’s voice hesitated, unsure of if his brother was, also his brother? Time stuff is way too confusing, thanks a lot, Mario. 

“Glad to see you, Legend.” 

“What do you mean you’re glad to see me? You see me everyday for Hylia’s sake!” The veteran grumbled.

“Don’t slander Sun’s name!” Sky grinned, gazing at his brother.

“Unless you wanna topple over!” The duo’s hands slapped together, “But seriously, can you help me up? It’s been a while since I used this thing.” 

“Of course, Champion.”

“Okay what the f*ck is going on???”

He was starting to discover the realities of the land outside of his jolly old England. Where magic roamed freer, where people were akin to his own... Only with great power. Great power that compelled dangerous people to pray on the weak, for those who wielded to want more than their cup could bare. It WAS scary. The fear of the unknown, of demons and devil... It had been embedded into him. How could he turn his back on that?

And also... That would have to mean he'd have to face the deeds he had done in the past. He had already started to question them... To wonder if he he had indeed, cut down poor women, men and children whom did nothing but exist in this dangerous world. He preferred not to admit to it being foul deeds... It was so much easier to know he had done right by the world by ridding it of danger and satans spawn...

..... Had he really fallen so far from grace?

Didn't sleep for 24 hours so the moment I drank my meds earlier I told myself I'd wake up after maybe 4 hours to take care of my laundry.

No my body decided to give me a black out knock out for 15 hours straight that when my roommates woke up me I got shocked when they were saying good-bye already like wtf

At least brain was nice enough to have me dreaming or owning my own cafe. It stressed me out still that there was no fridge there tho and my friend was so distraught she was in an arranged marriage with Lim Tian-Ching (Terrence from my self-insert fic) that I was so confused because wasn't he in love with me????
