Holby-Verse Plotline Tournament!

hello! ive been wanting to do a poll for ages, and i haven't seen any casualty ones so i thought why not make one!! this tournament is a showdown of plotlines from the shows to find the best/most important/favourite! see bottom of this post for the submission form!

rules:

plotlines can be from any holby-verse show, be it holby city, casualty, and any of the spin offs or cross-overs!

the plotlines can be as long or short, popular or obscure as you like, affecting just one, or multiple characters. i think shows like holby and casualty are very plotline driven so most things would fit, but i think for this, a plotline would need to be at least 1 episode long (or the subject of an entire episode), with one or more of the regular or semi-regular characters (for that era of the show) involved.

plotlines can be submitted based on how much you like them, how important you think they were, the impact they had on characters, etc.

please don't spam the form with the same plotline! the same plotline can be submitted by different people, and the same person can submit multiple plotlines, but not the same plotline by the same person please!

i think there will be 128 entries, but we'll see how it goes!

entries will be selected by whichever submissions make it in before i close the form

propaganda will be allowed once the tournament starts but please be nice!

these rules may change a bit and more may be added once i figure out how running a tournament works, but i will try to keep any changes reasonable, and will try to post them to see what people think before changing them

once polls start, ill figure out a tag system that can be used to track polls, results, propaganda, and miscellaneous things which, when created can be found here.

I was tagged by @eternally-conflicted . I will not be tagging as many people as I have WIPs, for reasons that will shortly become clear. Also, I often will use cheeky blurbs or quips in my wip titles because the title is the last thing I do before I hit publish, which I do not do very often. the Holby rewatch has devolved into a drunk Holby rewatch but am I reading into it too much or did they really foreshadow the stuff with Roxanna and Henrik and John quite a lot in earlier series 20?

Chris Clenshaw was the EP on Holby when Dom/Lofty was absolutely trashed. That entire year of Holby was awful/unpleasant, and we're seeing him do the same on EE now :(

REALLY?? That's just infuriating. The amount of out-of-touch and cruel these showrunners make never ceases to amaze and disappoint me. And then they continue to get work elsewhere. UGHHH.

I really feel for the actors who are forced to just go along with it. Like....what is Tony going to do? And I really feel for Max. He just had a kid! So awful. :(

Berena Advent 2023

Berena advent 2023 is definitely going to go ahead. I just working out a timeline in my head to ensure that I have enough time to create the art work (the advent calendar for each day progress as if you were opening a real advent calendar so it takes a bit of time to create) I'm hoping at some point to open my asks or submissions for prompts too. Then obviously the main event will kick off on the 1st December

Anyone fancy doing a virtual write-in? Only ever done one irl before but it was so flipping wholesome and inspiring and lovely. We hung out at one participant's house for the weekend and shared food and ideas and space; wrote in quiet when we wanted... encouraged each other.....did a lot of solid work on leaving the damn perfectionism behind!
