Prologue

Word count: 151, its just a short intro

A/N: Hi all! This is a clangen inspired blog. It will likely not have any art but I may include some. Thank you!

Her paws shook as she stepped across the clearing, headed for the pile of snow-crusted, stiff bodies. Her matted tail dragged through the snow, creating a trail from the leaders den to the center of the space. Her bones stuck out, body reduced to skin and bones, eyes were hollow.

She tripped over a frozen tail and fell heavily on her side with a dull thud. Her amber gaze drifted across the clearing to the trio of furry shapes at the edge of the clearing. They're the only ones left. Her eyes found the sweet face of her daughter. Our last hope. The embers of a dying fire.

Her eyes fluttered closed. Visions sparked before her. A glowing river, a lotus flower, a robin with his wings spread, calling out to the morning sun.

The sun is setting on my life, She thinks, watching a group of cats, all unknown to her, move around a clearing. But tomorrow it will rise on theirs.

So because you guys seemed to like my Fox and Jesse that I drew, I wanted to share my Star Wars OC! (And also because i'm not at home so I can't draw others clones like Fox and Jesse...)

So, her name is Leor Firstar, she was a Jedi Master and joined the Bad Batch.

I'm currently working on a fanfic about her, beginning at the dawn of the Clone War so yeah. I don’t know it will be out to be honest...

Firstar(/heart/paw) from Warrior Cats!

Oh great artist whose AU I adore, I come once again to ask a question.

Would it be alright to ask about Firestar and Sandstorm, like how their relationship started and how they act as a couple? I'm assuming he still saves her like in the books but I've been curious on how they act as parents and if leadership affected anything between them. If this is too strange of a question to ask, that's fine to ignore it.

For the most part, their relationship is pretty similar to canon.

Sandy starts as Fire's bully. Firepaw is a scrawny little outsider orphan and Bluestar treats him like her own son, so Sandpaw- who has recently lost her dad- decides to take it personally. This is only worsened by Fireheart becoming a warrior early at only 15 while Sandstorm has to wait until she is 17 like normal. However, they get closer as warriors after Fireheart save her.

They get married shortly after the events of Darkest Hour and share the Leader's cabin. Firestar keeps the cabin clean, but Sandstorm has better things to do. Firsetar is a big sentimental guy and decorates the cabin with little mementos from friends and family. Sandstorm has a giant stuffed boar displayed in the living room that Dustpelt lovingly named "Porkfang the Great". Firestar hates Porkfang the Great.

Firestar's leadership doesn't put too much strain on their relationship overall all. Sandstorm was like a second deputy to Firestar and supported him in any way she could. She understood the workload being a leader entails and is willing to accommodate for that. Luckily, they have a whole clan to support them.

Though, as previously stated, there is some timeline wonk when translating cat to human. The first arc of warrior cats takes place over roughly 3-ish years in which Firestar goes from kitten to young adult. However, this au would take place over 5 years, making Firestar only 17 years old when he becomes a leader - probably the youngest leader there has been. This means that there are a lot of complications with when they have Squirrelfight and Leafpool. Logically, they would probably be born a year after Darkest Hour, with Sandfire both being 18 years old. However, this causes... an uncomfortable.... age gap with Squirrel and Bramble. If any of yall have a solution for the age and timeline issue, I'm all ears.

As for them as parents, most the character are far more involved with their kids than in canon. They were both loving parents but did have some issues.

As the leader, Firstar didn't get to spend as much time with the girls as he wished before they started apprenticeship. He sometimes fell into the "cool dad" trap of leaving the disciplining to Sandstorm. He'd try to make sure he was present for the important things and never missed a family dinner. The girls adored him.

Sandstorm was a pretty good mom but had her hands full. Leafkit was very shy and practically clung to her leg at all times. Squirrelkit was fiercely independent and loved to reek havoc the neighbors. There were times when Sandstorm had to put whatever she was doing on hold because Squirrelkit wondered over to Dustpelt's house and got into a fight with Shrewkit or Spiderkit. She helped the girls a lot when they became moms.

Lichenclan are actually the stragglers of a former clan called Creekclan. There were a few clans living in the general area (Lichenclan's neighbors are Bayclan, Dancingclan, Waspclan, Thrushclan, and Dryclan) (I might delete one of those because that's so much), but none of them really bothered to interfere with each other as much. So when Creekclan's leader, Firstar, started receiving false visions from a Dark Forest cat, no one outside of her own clan noticed.

Firstar was convinced that it was Starclan speaking to her, and so she hung on every word she was told. She exiled the clan's sole healer, Olivetuft, after learning that she was expecting kits. She was convinced that Starclan wanted her to disband the clan, or else terrible things would happen. In the middle of the night, she called a clan meeting and declared that Creekclan would be no more. Firstar's mate and deputy, Eveningstorm, left with her. The remnants of Creekclan had no leadership.

Former clanmates went their separate ways, losing their sense of comradery when prey became hard to find and herbs became a limited resource. Many cats left the territories altogether to become rogues or kittypets, while some sought asylum in their neighboring clans.

Pinefoot was one of the warriors who refused to let go of the clan. He had an immature insistence that they could band together and sort out leadership on their own, but his former clanmates didn't share the same ideals, and he was chased out of any small group he found. He ended up just outside the twolegplace, where he met with his former clanmate Lichenheart, who had settled into life as a kittypet and was expecting kits of her own. His pathetic nature convinced Lichenheart to help him out.

While living with Lichenheart's twolegs, Pinefoot began to have visions of starry-furred cats in the yard outside, leading him in the direction of the woods. After a moon of this, Pinefoot told Lichenheart that he believed Starclan was trying to tell him something. With her litter just around the corner, Lichenheart was reluctant to leave, but she trusted Pinefoot.

The starry-furred cats led Pinefoot and Lichenheart to a pine forest, specifically to a sunken clearing surrounded by a natural protection of brambles and stones. Pinefoot believed that Starclan had showed the two of them a new camp where Creekclan could be reborn. The new camp was put to the test when, a few nights later, Lichenheart had a single kit. She named him Rushkit, her formal commitment to starting this new clan with Pinefoot.

Pinefoot believed that, although Starclan had showed him the camp, Lichenheart should be leader. She was more responsible than him, and had trained an apprentice in Creekclan. Lichenheart planned to travel to the Moongrove and receive her nine lives when she'd recovered from giving birth, but her condition continued to worsen, turning into greencough.

Pinefoot searched the territory for any cat that had healing skills. He stumbled upon the den of Olivetuft and her newborn daughter, Berry. He pleaded with her to come treat Lichenheart, but by the time they made it back to camp, Olivetuft knew there was nothing more she could do except make Lichenheart's last few days painless. She was the first cat buried in Lichenclan's graveyard.

Olivetuft and Pinefoot traveled to the Moongrove together to speak with Starclan. They gave Pinefoot nine lives and his new name, Pinestar, and entrusted him with the infancy of this new clan. He was officially a leader of something new - Pinestar, Olivetuft, Rushkit, and Berrykit. He named the clan Lichenclan, in honor of his friend.

Eventually, the rest of the founders wandered into Pinestar's life and stayed in the clan. I could get into all of their histories, but then this post would be even longer than it is, haha. But after all that....well, the rest is history!

Robinkit is Firstars daughter, and her father died from redcough when she was a moon old, when the outbreak was jst starting. She was named after Robinmist, a clan elder who died of old age the moon before she was born.

Ebonykits mother didn't die of the sickness- she died bringing Ebony to life. Her father died a moon ago and she was adopted by the other queen, Orangekits mom. She has vague memories of when the clan wasn't so sick but it's mostly all she knows.

Orangekits father is unknown. The other queen, Darknettle, who was previously mentioned, is her mother and Firstars closest friend. Darknettle was the most recent cat to die (other than Firstar).

Ooc - im also mad we never saw the other lostboys again in the show or felix in the underworld. I totally imagine that felix found rufio down there cause felix was rufios unfinished business (he knew pan was playing games and always wanted felix to see it clearly but pan ordered hook to kill him)

And when in the later season they went back to neverland and some lostboys were there like- as if felix would go on his own accord. And what happend to devin!?

More Songclan!

Whirlcatcher, who got sick and was abandoned by their Twolegs, and died when ambushed by rogues.

Ebonystripe, a foundling kit, became deputy under Froststar. They died when they went wandering to try and find the truth of their parentage.

Frostfreckle, who lost their Twolegs in an accident and ran away to join the clan. Scarred by a snakebite. Eventually became Froststar when Mossstar was mauled by a rogue and lost 8 lives at once. They were carried off by a hawk, never to be seen again.

Flailthorn joined the clan as a medicine cat, and lost their tail to a dog. Drowned trying to rescue a clanmate who'd fallen into the river.

Rowanhowl was training as a medicine cat, but was taken by a predator in the night and killed.

Blazestripe was born to PrimroseClan but their mother abandoned them to SongClan as a kit. With their connection to StarClan they became a thoughtful warrior. They died after eating tainted fresh-kill.

Firstep was born into the clan, and got caught in a forest fire that left their paws scarred. They became Firstar when Froststar was carried off by a hawk. A hawk tried to do the same to them but ultimately they died to a rogue ambush.

Applespeck, the deputy under Froststar after Ebonystripe died, was scarred by a hawk saving a kit. They drowned when the camp flooded.

Basiltail was a childish new warrior who died in a rogue ambush.

Jackdawfur was a warrior who became a medicine cat and froze to death in a snowstorm that covered the camp.

Peaktangle became deputy after Murkfreckle died. Became Peakstar after Firstep was killed.

Deerdapple, a deputy under Firstar, was scarred in a forest fire. They died in a rogue ambush.

Barkbramble was an excellent swimmer but still died in a flood.

Murkfreckle was briefly made deputy after Deerdapple died, only to be found dead near a rival clan's border.

Canopyspeck was a new warrior, but died eating tainted fresh-kill.

Lionrush left their home after something terrible happened and joined the clan. They became a deputy under Peakstar and later retired to the elder's den, replaced as deputy by Cypressears.

Flipfreckle, an ex-kittypet, is one of the best hunters in the clan. They drowned trying to rescue a clanmate from the river.

Lyresplash is a storyteller, and went missing once only to return with a black collar around their neck.

Nimblebeetle was a young warrior who was bitten by a snake and succumbed to the venom.

Cypressears became deputy under Peakstar after Lionrush retired to the elder's den. They became Cypressstar when Peakstar lost their last life to old age.

Plumfern is a daring young warrior who saved a kit from a hawk, earning a few scars. They became deputy under Cypressstar.

Brokenheart left IrisClan as Brokenpaw and graduated as a warrior in SongClan.
