Concept

Pokemon flying type Gym Leader, except they don't have ANY bird Pokemon. Their entire team consists of BATS.

Meet Varney! They use they/them pronouns and are 22 years old. They run a flying type gym and are the 8th gym leader of the Dymus region (my own fakemon region). They challenge you three times throughout your journey before you finally get to their gym. In these 3 battles they use the 3 evolutionary stages of the region's pseudo legendary, an as yet unnamed or designed ghost/flying type that's based on a vampire bat.

Felix Levine is the young flying-type gym leader. He's famous (and infamous) for his unique battles that challenge your ability to work with pokemon rather than just battling with them.

He does this with a dangerous sky-high battle over the air surrounding the City In The Sky. Many trainers are too scared to actually participate in his battles, and even more are refused by Felix due to being too young (since the legal age to obtain a pokemon is just 10 years old, after all).

Outside of his incredibly dangerous battles, he's known for being an amazing inventor as a graduate of the Sawsbuck City's official academy.

I fully can’t remember if I ever posted all of these lol, but Pokémon au designs! My v3 Pokémon au takes place in the Johto region (hence everyone’s teams being only kanto and johto Pokémon) and focuses on Maki, Shuichi, and Kaito journeying around battling rivals (Himiko and Kaede), defeating Team Rocket (Kokichi and Gonta), and taking on the gym leaders (the rest of the cast)!

I need, in my life, Post-Indigo Disk, Drayton being the only one who realizes this chick who fell out of the sky because of Celebi—who has brown and green hair in a weird pattern that suspiciously resembles two people he knows—is Kiki and Juli's future daughter

Kieran, who was watching Juliana tell the girl about Miraidon: Well, I'd be able to tell you if you weren't blocking my way!

Carmine does catch on, but a part of her thinks it's funny to pretend that she doesn't get the very logical conclusion he's pointing out because it's so rare for her to be the one with the upper hand??

It gets better when the girl catches on to what Aunt Carmine's doing, and she's like, "sorry, Uncle Drayton, this is for all the times you played a prank on me. Aunt Carmine's my favorite now <3"

i'm curious: what was your reaction on larry? i know a lot of people insta-liked him (me i'm people) but others he grew on.

Okay, what's really funny is i didn't insta-like him but he also didn't grow on me. I'm still giggling thinking about it.

My bestie and i both got the games on release, them getting violet, while i got scarlet cuz cave milf. We BINGE play it until 3am. I end up in Medali bc I wanted to know who the guy who didn't even LOOK at the camera was.

I do the gym challenge and this dude just stands up. We both stared at my screen...and immediately began to bully him.

Omg. We were ROASTING his plain looking ass. I even said, "HE DOESNT EVEN HAVE An ASS. THIS iS ASS ERASURE. WHERE ARE mY NORmAL MEN WITH A BUhdUNKAHDUNK!!!"

We got to the battle field and he says his spiel. Omg. I RECORDED that thing with the switch screenshot button. He set down his briefcase, and midroast, he adjusted his tie.

That was it. Instantly. Just, he fixed his tie and I was instantly like "omg him <3"

My friend of course fell in love, in the sense of, it reminded them of Looker from earlier pokemon games. It was so fucking funny. I'm horny and they're like "new best friend :D He has a staraptor!"

I think the funniest part was i actually cut off midrant and just insta recorded and they just go "dude?"

"Hes gonna be a tumblr sexyman. But like Onceler level i think."

I can’t stop thinking about a soulmate au where depending on your like pokèmon teams type your soulmate gets it instead

Take like Elesa and Skyla - Skyla would become an electric type gym leader and Elesa would be the flying!

It’s only until you meet your soulmate though? And then you switch back again??

But also the main pokèmon stays with them - eg Elesas zebstrika and Skylas Swanna as a guide for them to find your soulmates type I guess.

And chaos ensues every month where trainers decide to have like three days try to find soulmates across regions and it’s just hilarious to watch.

There’s videos on poketube about the best reactions or worse realisations that someone isn’t a persons soulmate.
