Imagine If You Will...
Acting as the Frontman's PA, and having the Guard harem wrapped around your finger.
This part is:
PA Announcer
Musical Fan!reader
This will be a choose your adventure kind of thing where there will be multiple with jobs/specialties/interactions.
a/n: Hope you like Mamma Mia xoxo
Please don't hesitate to request!!
Walking a few steps behind the Frontman, peering through your silver mask and analysing the clipboard in your hands you updated your boss on the status of everything being prepared for the games.
Based on the grunts and scoffs he let out you crossed out and marked different items on the list. For a man of little words, he sure was good at communicating. After the large doors to the hall closed, you looked first to your boss then to the militia-like staff.
Handing over the checklist to the closest square, you nodded to your boss and turned to leave.
“Squares 1 through 16, Your men will be painting the halls. Squares 18 through 21, Your men will construct the bridge. Squares 22 and 23..." As you approached your office the front man's voice faded away.
There was a surprising amount of paper work for a company that strived to leave no traceable evidence, you supposed they needed to be completely aware of the crimes that the company had committed as to better cover their tracks. That being said, you would swear that the pile had grown since before breakfast.
So sitting down in your little office you pulled off your mask and began to sort through the first few files. After certain issues and unauthorised branches sprung up in the command structure of the previous year's games, you been given the tedious task of vetting all potential contestants.
The main rules were; no one with medical training, we cant have another spout of organ harvesting, no one with knowledge that could reduce or alter the difficulty of the games, aka no more glass guys, and so on and so forth for what seemed to be an unending and ever growing pile of filters.
You'd made it through half of the pile, removing a few of the contestants for their quote unquote leadership qualities, when an alarm chimed from your phone. Tugging forward the microphone you grabbed the notes from today's agenda, before crackling the speakers to life with the press of a button.
'It is now midday. Lunch will be available to grab under the sun for the next 90 minutes. Today's music choice is... mine and will be the entire Mamma Mia musical soundtrack followed by twenty minutes of me replaying my favourite songs.'
Pressing play on the album and turning off the microphone you opted to return to your work for the time being, only now there was the occasional humming along.
When a tapping came from your window you finally stopped, slipping your silvery mask back into place and tugging back the unnecessarily extravagant curtain you observed a single circle giving you a thumbs up.
Waving to him you stepped closer and peered to the side, down the hall stood a group grooving, and as you pressed your ear to the glass you could hear their voices singing along.
Sneaking your secure and very dumb brick of a phone out of your pocket you started to record, before noticing the circle was now waving for you to join them.
Deciding... screw it you leaned your phone against the sill and slipped out of the office to join the gaggle of guards. Only then did you notice just how loud the PA system was set to as the concrete under your feet vibrated with the music.
Dancing and singing along, the group seemed to grow as the album played on... until your boss' brash tone cracked over the system;
'Okay that's enough, go get your food.'
Oh yeah... lunch.

Alix Breeden at Daily Kos:
Donald Trump’s “border czar” Tom Homan plans to reinstate controversial family detention centers as part of the upcoming administration’s mass deportation efforts.
Homan told the Washington Post Thursday that his plans include building “soft tents” to keep families under one roof as they await deportation. Detention centers have a long history of being inhospitable to humans and offering prison-like facilities to migrants. Homan, however, seemingly blames parents for having children, instead of acknowledging these dangerous conditions. “Here’s the issue. You knew you were in the country illegally and chose to have a child. So you put your family in that position,” he said. President Joe Biden closed family detention facilities in 2021 in an attempt to make the immigration system more humane and compassionate. In their place, his administration distributed ankle monitors and traceable cellphones, allowing families to reside in the United States as they awaited deportation hearings.
But after the end of Trump’s Title 42, which allowed for the swift deportation of undocumented immigrants at the border due to COVID-19 concerns, the Biden administration considered bringing back the facilities. Homan served as the Obama-era head of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and he has carried out deportation efforts over the past three decades. So if anyone recalls the inhumane conditions of these facilities, it should be Homan.
“There's barbed wire, there are prison guards,” a former volunteer said of a family detention center in 2007. “There's counts throughout the day so that people are in their cells for hours of the day, there's no free movement around the facility, the food was terrible. You know, it's just a prison.” Despite supporting these facilities, Homan told the Washington Post that he wants to “show the American people we can do this and not be inhumane about it.” Speaking on deportations as a whole, he said, “I don’t see this thing as being sweeps and the military going through neighborhoods.” Instead, it will be a “targeted” campaign aimed at people who have criminal convictions, gang affiliations, or those who are seen as a national security threat.  However, Homan sang a less empathetic tune during an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins last week, during which he said the goal is for ICE officers and other agencies to assist them in arresting “as many targeted priority aliens as possible.”
[...] He also claimed that sanctuary cities will force ICE to make sweeping arrests of anyone who is considered undocumented.  “In sanctuary cities, we can’t arrest criminals in a jail because they won’t let us in the jail,” he said. “Which means instead of one agent arresting the bad guy in the jail, we have to send a whole team to the neighborhood.” He also said that this retaliation will inevitably result in “nonpriority” undocumented immigrants being arrested “because immigration officers aren’t going to be told to walk away from somebody illegal.”
Former ICE head goon Thomas Homan is giddy to restart the morally repulsive family separation policy in Trump’s 1st term. This is yet another reason why ICE should be abolished.

What makes Indian rice manufacturers the top choice for global importers?
Tumblr media
Indian rice manufacturers have built a strong global reputation for their quality, variety, and consistent supply. As one of the largest rice exporting countries, India supplies premium and affordable rice varieties to over 150 countries. But what makes them the preferred choice for international buyers? Let’s look at the factors that make Indian rice exporters stand out in the global market.
Introduction to Indian Rice Manufacturing
India has long been a global leader in rice production, exporting over 40% of the world’s total rice supply (Source: FAO). The country’s manufacturing capacity is supported by its vast paddy fields, skilled workforce, and advanced milling facilities. Indian rice manufacturers cater to the market’s diverse needs, offering everything from high-quality Basmati to cost-effective bulk options.
This adaptability and focus on quality ensures that Indian rice continues to dominate the global market.
Quality Standards and Certifications
Quality assurance is the cornerstone for rice suppliers in India. They follow international guidelines to ensure that rice meets the expectations of global importers. Some of the key certifications include:
ISO 22000 and HACCP: highlighting their commitment to food safety.

Fair trade and sustainability practices: signifying ethical production.
Many manufacturers use state-of-the-art milling techniques and conduct strict quality checks. These efforts make Indian rice a reliable choice for consumers around the world.
Wide variety of rice types
India offers an unmatched variety of rice, enabling manufacturers to meet the diverse preferences of global markets. Popular choices include:
Basmati rice: Famous for its aroma and long-grained texture, it is widely in demand in Europe and the Middle East.
Non-Basmati Rice: Varieties such as IR64 and Sona Masuri are staples in Africa and Asia.
Specialty and Organic Rice: Catering to niche markets focused on health and sustainability.
This broad portfolio allows Indian exporters to meet the needs of a variety of customers, from gourmet chefs to wholesale distributors.
Cost-effectiveness and supply reliability
Indian rice manufacturers maintain a balance between quality and affordability. This is achieved through:
High production efficiency: Leveraging large-scale operations and advanced machinery.
Government policies: Subsidies for farm equipment and fertilizers reduce production costs.
Geographical advantage: Fertile land and favorable weather ensure consistent yields.
Their ability to handle bulk orders while adhering to strict timelines makes Indian rice exporters reliable partners for global importers.
Commitment to sustainability and innovation
Sustainability has become a priority for Indian rice manufacturers. Many companies are adopting environmentally friendly practices such as:
Water conservation: Using innovative irrigation techniques to reduce water consumption.
Renewable energy: Integrating solar and bioenergy into milling processes.
Waste utilization: Converting rice husk into biofuels and fertilizers.
Such practices align with the values of environmentally conscious consumers, strengthening India’s position in the global market.
Additionally, advances in traceability and quality control, including digital systems, enhance transparency and trust between manufacturers and importers.
India’s global prominence in rice exports is supported by its strong manufacturing base, diverse offerings, and commitment to quality. By choosing Indian rice manufacturers, importers benefit from reliable, high-quality rice that meets a variety of market demands. Whether it’s aromatic basmati for fine eating or affordable bulk varieties for everyday use, Indian exporters continue to set benchmarks in the global rice trade.

Could Trey Clover make food that intoxicates you without alcohol?
oh my god- alright, you know how Trey re-writes components of things with his unique magic? Could he make a cake or tea have the same effects as alcohol or poison?
How would it last? Could it get a person intoxicated enough to get drunk? Would it go away as the spell fades?
First- do we know the length of how long Trey can hold his UM for basic foods and other things? We know that he can re-write complex tastes and change Riddle's overblot attacks into like cards or bubbles.
(I haven't exactly played through more than the savanaclaw arc. I am an ENG player and am just kinda hyper fixated on TWST. So I know plenty lore.)
so, Riddle is a known magical powerhouse, literally able to block a person's entire magical ability. (Sans a few. Like OB!Leona and the like.) and he held OB!Leona for maybe 30 (or less) seconds, who is in like a direct rivalry to one of the most powerful mages in TWST.
so to do that you'd need insane strength and mental fortitude. Of course Riddle struggles, but it's enough to temporarily stop Leona.
And so Trey being able to override Riddle's OB magic. Which is like superpowered due to the evil magical girl transformation. And do it continuously for however long the fight goes on in pretty impressive. Plus he doesn't like to go show off, so we could entertain the idea he slightly held back enough so it would save others yet not anger Riddle much more.
but that's improbable. because it's a deadly OverBlot that kills literally everyone around it in all accounts.
so, could Trey make food that gets you intoxicated, with long lasting effects. And the answer is yes. Probably as long as it's in your digestive system/liver type shit it probably could.
then what about poisons. Like the type that you could figure out from smells. The tart he overrides probably smells the same. (It's depicted like that most times.) So the smell of poison would not be detected because it's literally not made out of poisonous materials.
but how long would it last? I think it'd be the same with the alcohol question. As long as he wants basically. Because all he show cased was something small then something HUGE. Plus Trey's a third year, of NRC. Which is hailed as one of the best magical schools in all of TWST. So that's going for him.
anyways, the poison would be undetectable, not traceable due to the fact that he doesn't need to slip it in until the last moment, and would last as long as he could feasibly want.
how would that go for pain receptors and nerves? He could probably rewrite the feeling of breathing or touch to that of a burning steak knife driving into their flesh. An effective torture weapon that wouldn't leave physical marks.
does the thing he rewrites have to be seen in eye shot? Could he change the air to carbon monoxide? Or the effects of it? Probably honestly.
GETTING OFF TOPIC! So, the poison also wouldn't be detected due to the senses and brain itself being tricked.
so, in short. Yes, Trey Clover could make food that could intoxicate you in both ways. Non-deadly and lethal.

If you ever had pastries at breakfast, drank soy milk, used soaps at home, or built yourself a nice flat-pack piece of furniture, you may have contributed to deforestation and climate change.
Every item has a price—but the cost isn’t felt only in our pockets. Hidden in that price is a complex chain of production, encompassing economic, social, and environmental relations that sustain livelihoods and, unfortunately, contribute to habitat destruction, deforestation, and the warming of our planet.
Approximately 4 billion hectares of forest around the world act as a carbon sink which, over the past two decades, has annually absorbed a net 7.6 billion metric tons of CO2. That’s the equivalent of 1.5 times the annual emissions of the US.
Conversely, a cleared forest becomes a carbon source. Many factors lead to forest clearing, but the root cause is economic. Farmers cut down the forest to expand their farms, support cattle grazing, harvest timber, mine minerals, and build infrastructure such as roads. Until that economic pressure goes away, the clearing may continue.
In 2024, however, we are going to see a big boost to global efforts to fight deforestation. New EU legislation will make it illegal to sell or export a range of commodities if they have been produced on deforested land. Sellers will need to identify exactly where their product originates, down to the geolocation of the plot. Penalties are harsh, including bans and fines of up to 4 percent of the offender's annual EU-wide turnover. As such, industry pushback has been strong, claiming that the costs are too high or the requirements are too onerous. Like many global frameworks, this initiative is being led by the EU, with other countries sure to follow, as the so-called Brussels Effect pressures ever more jurisdictions to adopt its methods.
The impact of these measures will only be as strong as the enforcement and, in 2024, we will see new ways of doing that digitally. At Farmerline (which I cofounded), for instance, we have been working on supply chain traceability for over a decade. We incentivize rule-following by making it beneficial.
When we digitize farmers and allow them and other stakeholders to track their products from soil to shelf, they also gain access to a suite of other products: the latest, most sustainable farming practices in their own language, access to flexible financing to fund climate-smart products such as drought-resistant seeds, solar irrigation systems and organic fertilizers, and the ability to earn more through international commodity markets.
Digitization helps build resilience and lasting wealth for the smallholders and helps save the environment. Another example is the World Economic Forum’s OneMap—an open-source privacy-preserving digital tool which helps governments use geospatial and farmer data to improve planning and decision making in agriculture and land. In India, the Data Empowerment Protection Architecture also provides a secure consent-based data-sharing framework to accelerate global financial inclusion.
In 2024 we will also see more food companies and food certification bodies leverage digital payment tools, like mobile money, to ensure farmers’ pay is not only direct and transparent, but also better if they comply with deforestation regulations.
The fight against deforestation will also be made easier by developments in hardware technology. New, lightweight drones from startups such as AirSeed can plant seeds, while further up, mini-satellites, such as those from Planet Labs, are taking millions of images per week, allowing governments and NGOs to track areas being deforested in near-real time. In Rwanda, researchers are using AI and the aerial footage captured by Planet Labs to calculate, monitor, and estimate the carbon stock of the entire country.
With these advances in software and hard-tech, in 2024, the global fight against deforestation will finally start to grow new shoots.

Savoring Safety and Quality: ISO 22000 in Your Favorite Sushi Restaurant
In the bustling world of culinary delights, sushi stands out as a beloved cuisine, captivating taste buds with its artful presentations and fresh flavors. Behind the scenes, ensuring the safety and quality of the ingredients that grace your plate is of paramount importance. This blog delves into how ISO 22000, the international food safety management system, adds an extra layer of trust and confidence to your favorite sushi restaurant. Let's explore how obtaining ISO certification online can enhance the dining experience and elevate food safety standards.
ISO 22000: Elevating Food Safety Standards ISO 22000 is a robust food safety management system designed to prevent, manage, and mitigate food safety risks throughout the food supply chain. In the context of a sushi restaurant, implementing ISO 22000 means adopting strict controls over the sourcing, handling, and preparation of raw fish and other ingredients, ensuring they meet the highest safety standards.
Ensuring Freshness and Hygiene: For a sushi restaurant, maintaining the freshness and hygiene of ingredients is paramount. ISO 22000 provides a systematic approach to monitor and control the entire food production process, from sourcing to serving. By implementing ISO 22000, your favorite sushi spot ensures that the raw fish, rice, and other ingredients are of top-notch quality and safe for consumption.
Customer Confidence and Trust: Nothing delights customers more than a dining experience where they can trust the food they eat. ISO 22000 certification instills confidence in patrons, assuring them that the sushi restaurant prioritizes their safety and health. Knowing that the restaurant adheres to rigorous food safety practices, customers can savor their sushi with peace of mind.
Transparency in the Supply Chain: Sourcing fresh and safe ingredients is essential for a sushi restaurant. ISO 22000 requires the establishment of a transparent supply chain, documenting the sources and handling of ingredients. By applying ISO certification online, the restaurant ensures full traceability and accountability for each ingredient used, from ocean to plate.
Mitigating Food Safety Risks: The inherent risks in handling raw fish make food safety a top concern for sushi restaurants. ISO 22000 emphasizes proactive risk management, identifying potential hazards and implementing controls to prevent foodborne illnesses. By adhering to ISO 22000, the sushi restaurant minimizes food safety risks and safeguards its reputation.
Enhancing Customer Satisfaction: In a competitive culinary landscape, customer satisfaction is key to a restaurant's success. ISO 22000 certification elevates the sushi restaurant's reputation, setting it apart from others in the industry. As customers become more conscious of food safety, ISO 22000 becomes a differentiating factor that draws discerning diners to your favorite sushi spot.
Why Obtain ISO Certification Online?
Convenience and Accessibility: Obtaining ISO certification online streamlines the certification process, saving time and resources. Sushi restaurant owners can easily access the necessary information, documentation, and guidance required for ISO 22000 compliance.

Blockchain in Agriculture and Food Supply Chain Market Forecast Suggests Sustained Growth Throughout the Forecast until 2029
Tumblr media
The blockchain in Agriculture and food supply chain market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 43.76% from 2023 to 2029. This growth is being driven by a number of factors, including the increasing demand for food safety and traceability, the growing popularity of smart contracts, and the increasing adoption of blockchain by governments and businesses.
Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology that can be used to record transactions in a secure and transparent way. This makes it ideal for tracking food products from farm to fork, as it can help to ensure that they are safe and have been produced sustainably.
Smart contracts are self-executing contracts that are stored on the blockchain. These contracts can be used to automate payments and transactions in the food supply chain, which can help to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Governments and businesses are increasingly recognizing the potential benefits of blockchain, and are starting to adopt it in their supply chains. For example, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is currently working on a blockchain pilot program to track the movement of food through the supply chain.
The growth of the blockchain in agriculture and food supply chain market is expected to create new opportunities for businesses. These businesses will need to develop blockchain-based solutions that can help to improve food safety, traceability, and efficiency.
The following are some of the benefits of using blockchain in the agriculture and food supply chain:
Improved food safety: Blockchain can help to track food from farm to fork, which can help to ensure that it is safe and has been produced sustainably. This is because blockchain is a tamper-proof ledger that records all transactions in chronological order. This makes it very difficult to counterfeit or adulterate food products. Increased traceability: Blockchain can help to track the movement of food through the supply chain, which can help to improve traceability. This is important for both consumers and businesses, as it allows them to know exactly where their food comes from. Reduced costs: Blockchain can help to reduce costs in the food supply chain by automating payments and transactions. This is because smart contracts can be used to automate these processes, which can save time and money. Improved efficiency: Blockchain can help to improve efficiency in the food supply chain by streamlining processes and reducing paperwork. This can help to speed up the movement of food through the supply chain, which can lead to increased profits. Overall, the blockchain in agriculture and food supply chain market is a promising market with a lot of potential. As the market matures, we can expect to see even more innovative applications of blockchain in this sector.
Here are some of the challenges that the blockchain in agriculture and food supply chain market faces:
The lack of standardization: There is currently no single standard for blockchain in the agriculture and food supply chain market. This can make it difficult for businesses to adopt blockchain and for different systems to interoperate. The lack of trust: Some businesses and consumers may be hesitant to adopt blockchain because they do not trust the technology. This is because blockchain is a relatively new technology, and there is still some uncertainty about how it will be used in the future. The high cost: The cost of developing and deploying blockchain solutions can be high. This can be a barrier for some businesses, especially small businesses.
Despite these challenges, the blockchain in agriculture and food supply chain market is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. The market is expected to be driven by the increasing demand for food safety and traceability, the growing popularity of smart contracts, and the increasing adoption of blockchain by governments and businesses.
