I find it interesting that edwin refers to henry as “hen” rather than “H.E.”, “henry”, “emily”, etc.

to me, it sounds like edwin was good friends with him, not just business partners. my best guess when it comes to the designs for freddy, bonnie, chica, foxy, spring bonnie, fredbear, etc., is that they collaborated on them. maybe even the springlocks, considering that one) edwin wanted to email henry about them and two) in the silver eyes novels it's heavily implied that henry is the true creator of the springlocks; plus the core four animatronics and spring bonnie/fredbear.

My Michael Afton throughout the years! ft. his own little doodles. I'll try to be brief about the timeline and how my Michael was without saying too much since it'll be explored in the Hidden Hands AU fic's chapters anyway so I won't say all the details. Feel free to read if you guys like! I have a lot to say about him.

1983 (FNAF 4) - Michael was 12 or 13-ish when the Bite happened. Very reckless yet adventurous kid. Didn't really hate Evan (William, as much as he had a soft spot for Evan, still loved Michael all the same), just had really bad friends and influence (his friends were mostly bullies) - and didn't really like that he's being told to parent a little brother he had no idea how to take care of. It didn't help that Evan tended to be a tattle-tail sometimes about the trouble he was getting into. Michael also, deep down, got scared of what the bullies would do to him if he dared stand up for his brother or spoke out against them, so he ends up going along with what they did for his own sake. After the Bite, Michael was still deeply guilty about what he did to Evan, and it haunts him every night, knowing he had no good excuse but irresponsibility for what he did to his brother, because after all, it wasn't like William wasn't giving him enough attention. Michael just knew that he deserved anything unfortunate coming to him, but is genuinely surprised that his father kept telling him he loved him all the same. From this point on, he becomes easily troubled, tends to stay close to his dad. Makes sure he follows the rules and doesn't do trouble. Just wants to do a complete personality shift, and is deeply ashamed of who he was before. 1985 (Charlie's death, Fredbear's Family Diner shuts down) - Michael was 15 here. Over the years, he slowly isolated himself from most of the people in his life since he gets worried about his past scars coming back to haunt him. Mostly a recluse and reserved. He's not handling things well after Charlie's death and a family divorce - not to mention the non-existent social life he had. Just prefers to be left alone, but he's nice if you get to know him. Doesn't really have a good relationship with Elizabeth, but is actually pretty close with William. Feels extremely guilty and hates himself/blames himself for Charlie's death. He gets paranoid easily, as he thinks whoever took Charlie is now after him, but his father tells him to not worry too much about it. 1987 (FNAF 2) - (17) Slowly having a good relationship with Elizabeth. Starts to get into stuff like the supernatural and becomes superstitious to a degree over the years. In public, he's mostly polite and nice, but his actual personality shows through whenever he's with his father or Elizabeth - he's sarcastic, and has quite a dark sense of humor, can be a bit of a rebel, he's just more subtle about it. A bit of an over-thinker - he gets lost in his imagination/head easily. Has a (surprisingly) good relationship with his dad, as he's not really afraid to be himself around him - sometimes gifts him funny things or something he knows his dad would love/would use (he gifts William a rabbit's foot - for good luck, he says). He also helped William build the Fun-Times with blueprints and other technicalities (He's not really aware of the questionable features they had, unfortunately). He couldn't really come with his father and Elizabeth on Circus Baby's Pizza World opening due to things he had to catch up with his home-schooling, he had been skipping classes to work on the Fun-Times, but he really wanted to graduate highschool with a bang, so he's giving everything his all, here. Then Elizabeth suddenly goes missing all of a sudden, and, well... I would say more, but my fic sort of takes a canon-divergence route around FNAF 2/SL-FNAF 1 so that would spoil half of the stuff I've been working/writing about! Reference-sheet wise, I just wanted to show how he progresses from a rebellious, happy and adventurous kid into a more reclused, anxious and soft-spoken adult. Sorry for the long post! I've just been wanting to talk about him for some time now. There's a looot more that I've left out but yeah that's because there will be more in the fic!

THE MCI

SUSANNA MILLER - oldest kid in the miller family and the older sister to little jeremy. she's very polite and sweet and generally a really nice kid. very well liked, which is why her and her brother's disappearance was such a shock to the town of hurricane. she was a bit sheltered, though, along with her siblings, which unfortunately is why she was so easily lured. after the "disappearance" of her puppy, sparky, she was at freddy's with her brother and sister for gabriel's birthday party. she, of course, was stuffed into chica.

JEREMIAH MILLER - youngest child in the miller family! susie and samantha's little brother. a bit of a nervous, shy kid who clung to his sisters' sides. he's BEST friends with gabriel, though, and the two of them are always together at school and at freddy's. he was hanging out with his sister in the arcade when a yellow rabbit came over and was taking her somewhere. unaware of what was going on, he followed along, and ended up also getting killed by william and stuffed into bonnie.

GABRIEL CONNER - younger brother of a teen named brian who likes to wear a chica mask! he's a very well mannered and positive kid, and is always very excitable and loves to help! his favorite animatronic was coincidentally freddy. best friends with jeremy, and tries to help him come out of his shell. it was his birthday and he was looking around for his friend when a yellow rabbit came by and told him that he needed some help! being good natured, gabriel followed, and unfortunately got stuffed into the freddy fazbear animatronic...

FREDERICK CALLAHAN - fritz was an only child with a younger brother on the way. he was always a bit of a hyper, troublemaker kid. he had trouble paying attention and his parents were always focusing on the new baby, which ended up with him being left alone a lot of the time. because of this, he grew closer with cassidy, another kid with a bit of a troubled situation. when he was hanging out at freddys, this guy in a yellow rabbit suit came by, telling fritz there was some free candy and tokens in the back of the restaurant. having nothing better to do, he followed. despite his attempts to run, he was caught, killed, and promptly stuffed.

CASSIDY BROOKS - cassidy was an only child with an extremely poor home life. they hung out at freddy's a lot, and ended up meeting fritz who became their closest pal. they tend to be disrespectful and a bit of a menace to other people. they're very much a troublemaker, and them and fritz would get up to all sorts of things. they used to idolize the group of teens wearing masks that roamed around town, and bought their own alligator mask to match, but after the bite happened, they decided to make their own sort of gang with fritz. after noticing fritz was gone, they investigated, noticing a weird guy in a suit roaming around in the back. he lured them back with the promise of finding their friend, and, after a struggle, stuffed them into the fredbear suit where they were unfortunately springlocked.

(joke) Anyways. i think its funny how jeremy's hair and hairclip accidentally beacme cassidy's. i completely forgot i'd done that. cassidy also used to be like all innocent as well now they're just this little devious monster (affectionate) OH ALSO individual reference sheets will come out for these guys. soon 💝

FNAF: Secret of the Mimic

Spoilers ahead so be warned.

Ok so, I just finished watching a play-through and they took the not giving up the data-diver and going through the 1st location and then the house ending. There are plenty of important things to learn from this.

First off: When going into the first location that's under construction we see that Foxy, Chica, Monty, Fredbear, Yellow Rabbit, Bonnie, and Bud (A dog animatronic?) seem to all be there. Most interesting is that Monty is there, because he does not appear in any location until we see him in Security Breach. As for Bud, I think he was just an easter egg to the faux dog animatronic myth in FNAF 1.

Secondly: We discover that M1 is a replica of Fiona (which is something I kind of assumed but I did not expect to actually see). What is so important about this is that earlier in the game we know that Fiona attends Fall Fest because she is worried about something going wrong. We also know that this Fall Fest is the one that burns down and Fiona dies in the process. This is important to note because Edwin mentions that he does not know how to get the M2 program to work, and he is not even sure why the M1 program works in the first place. Molten Metal and it's properties in this franchise is a big deal... so the fact that Fiona died in a fire near a bunch of Edwin Murray's creations... also based on Dollie's area we know that Edwin recycled a lot of his broken machines to create new ones. So if Fall Fest burns down and Fiona dies in that fire and has her soul bonded to the metal, which is then recycled by Edwin and used to make the M1, that would explain the missing piece of why it worked. That was the part that Edwin could not quite understand, but would be something that both Afton and Henry would come to learn.

Speaking of Henry, his place in the lore is a little weird right now. William Afton is assumed to be the C.E.O. of Fazbear, or at least a very important person within the business (this is confirmed by mail in SotM in which he mentions to someone that he can get them a franchise store to run). Edwin and Fiona Murray are the creators of the characters that Fazbear uses, Fiona designed most of the characters (and likely their backstories as well) and Edwin designed the physical suits and the spring-lock mechanisms. Based on clues throughout the game it is heavily implied that Henry and Edwin are friends (Edwin refers to him as "Hen" multiple times), and within that same voice note we discover that it's Henry who tells Edwin to redesign the suits so that endoskeletons can fit within them (to cut on labor costs apparently). The solution seems to be that while Edwin created all of suits, Henry designed the endoskeletons... except that the Mimic and Endoskeletons look very similar to each other. Which could imply a number of things. Maybe they just happened to look the same, they were both designed to do the same things (fit into suits), so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that they just happened to be similar. Of course we know that other creators and designers work at MCM so it's also likely that Henry was one of these and maybe the liaison to Fazbear (before joining the Fazbear team later). This could mean that the Mimic is based on Henry's endoskeleton design and that Henry would then betray Edwin by giving a lot of his information over to Fazbear.

We do know 100% that Edwin is the creator of the program that runs the mimic and clearly has built machines and whatnot in the past. However, it is never specifically stated within the games (as far as I have seen) that he built the body that the Mimic inhabits. Also, no one else seems to know about M1 or M2 other than Edwin and David, F10-N4 mentions this to Edwin saying that he should not tell anyone about her, though it is pretty unclear if he does or does not.

It's about to get a little crazier with unfounded theorizing so bare with me: I think that Edwin works at MCM under his father, maybe they still make things but definitely not robotics. Within this time of working under his father Edwin meets Fiona, they has a wonderful meet-cute, yay. Then his father dies and Edwin takes over and decides to pivot the company to a more robotic/invention route. Edwin and Henry work together during this point (whether or not they both worked together Edwin's dad is unclear) and are both inventors and creators. Fazbear then licenses MCM to use their machines and characters for Fall Fest (once again it is unclear what franchises are open under Fazbear during this time). Then that Fall Fest happens and Fiona dies in a fire leaving Edwin to mourn and create the M1 mimic which assumes her personality. The idea to create the M1 is probably from Edwin hearing Fiona in certain radio signals throughout MCM (Maybe some of her soul metal was used to create these radios?). M1 is created and it is a success, however, now that Fiona is gone Edwin does not really have time to look after David (his and Fiona's son) so he builds the M2 to be a babysitter of sorts. Then sometime in around December 6th David dies (I think in the books he's hit by a car, and it is heavily implied that this is also true within the games). This causes Edwin to spiral and he tries to make M2 a copy of David, and fails tremendously without even knowing why (it is probably the lack of soul metal). During this time he is not really focusing on MCM and it's going under bad, also the employees are not happy with him at all. So Fazbear swoops in and starts to employ them/offer them rewards of they join the team and also give insight into Edwin's creations. Fazbear is still employing Edwin's services at this time as well, he is working on the "Fazbear Project" which turns out to be the first ever Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. Fazbear Entertainment seems to be a very difficult customer to work with, because right towards the end of the project they send him new designs for the animotronics. Before this project is completed MCM goes under and Edwin is overcome with grief trying to get M2 to be David. Eventually while working on that an explosion happens and the M2 (learning from Edwin himself) leaves Edwin to die because the M2 is "too busy."

I'd like to think that the endoskeletons we see are likely Henry's design (what else would be his purpose at this point?), but maybe the technology that makes them work has always been Mimic in nature. I think somehow Henry caught wind of the M1 or M2 programs and it was his job to recreate them for Fazbear to use in their animatronics. This would also lend a hand to the whole kids possessing suits thing, rather than an actual full on possession the animatronics are mimicking the children's behaviors while they are also stuffed within the suits (there is also an element of actual possession with the whole soul metal thing so...).

This is a lot to take in and I'm not even done with seeing 100% of the game but I wanted to throw some initial thoughts out there to clear my head a bit. I also really want to know the canonicity of every single game before the first Help Wanted (thinking heavily about the "game within a game universe" detail that gets dropped at the start of that). There are a lot of clear parallels between SotM and the first 4 "core" FNAF games.

Also Edwin mentions that he wants to stick with the original designs of the characters as opposed to the new "creepy" designs that Fazbear proposes. While this could be a nod to the early days of Scott's game dev experience, I wonder if the new designs are the FNAF 2 Toy Animatronics.

Also there's a lot of overlap between the characters of FNAF 6 and all the ones seen throughout MCM (clearly tying together the idea that Fazbear Entertainment kind of just stole everything from Edwin).

This is as much as I can think right now, but I really want to review lore from the older games while viewing them as games within the universe themselves. Basically saying "What do these games that don't have all the information conveying in broad strokes?" Just finding overarching parallels and whatnot.

Also I feel like Sister Location is just screaming at me, something to do with Ennard and it taking over Michael's body. There's some theory about the Mimic stealing William's identity and that way he's still alive, albeit, super murderous (though I'm sure he's just one insane guy, no mass murder robot needed).

The Toy animatronics we see in the trailer aren’t the same ones from 1987. They were rebuilt by Fazbear Entertainment for FazFest and are used for entertainment and security purposes.

Garret is possessing a different animatronic (Maybe Ballon Boy or a entirely new animatronic)

Flashbacks with Henry and Charlie

The next antagonist is the guy running the FazFair.

Jermey is the guy who got caught by Mangle and the blonde women at the end is his friend.

Sequel hook will involved Fazbear Fright or Sister Location, or the Fredbear plush hunting at the bite of 83.

The Big Bite will happened but in a different way and in shadow so no gore.

Garret and Charlie are both the puppet, in a more split personality. Garret is the more understanding while Charlie is sweet but very vicious.

Idk if any fnaf fans follow me but omg. I was watching a video yesterday where someone analyzed the lore behind all of the UCN voicelines and I realized something.

CC is controlling the Nightmares.

Two lines in particular seem to support this theory:

1. "I was always hiding in your shadow" -N. Freddy

- implies the speaker had some sort of relationship with Afton (assuming afton is the player) that The One You Should Not Have Killed (TOYSNHK) wouldn't have

- who wanted to hide all the time? Yeah! That's right! CC!!!!!

2. "We know who our friends are, and you are not one of them." -Nightmare Fredbear

- come on. It's a blatant reference to cc and his toys. Also a young boy's voice can be heard behind his lines (this line in particular, I can't really hear it in the other ones)

Also, the Nightmares were unique to CC. No one else would be able to "give them flesh" as multiple of them say, because no one else knew what they looked like. Even if you subscribe to the idea that they're the results of nightmare gas or illusion discs, Afton still would have had no way of knowing what exactly his son was seeing and therefore could not "give them flesh." And the same applies to TOYSNHK. (Assuming that they're Andrew or Cassidy and not CC.)

(This is kind of thrown off by the existence of that one Fredbear drawing in the logbook. That drawing drives me crazy. How the heck did Michael know???)

Now, the girl I was watching (I'll link her video, it was really good) thought that it being CC couldn't be the case because his soul was freed during the Happiest Day mini game. However, I was under the impression that the bad ending of FNAF 3 is canon. (If I'm wrong please let me know.) And besides that, according to FNAF 6 all the souls were freed, and yet it's implied (specifically by Withered Bonnie's "what is this new prison? is it me trapped? Or is it you? Perhaps it is us both" line, all of Marionette's lines, and Withered Chica's lines) that some of the original spirits are still here and trapped because of TOYSNHK's unwillingness to let Afton go.

I'm not saying I think CC is aware of exactly who he is torturing. But I think if I were a child who lived in torment all my life (because dad left me alone to fend for myself against my brother) and then died because of one of my father's creations, I would be a little miffed at him too. And even if he doesn't remember exactly how he died I think agony could lead him to blame Afton and willingly torture him too. I think if anyone deserves to be super vengeful it's that poor kid. Idk maybe it's obvious that CC is my favorite human FNAF character and Golden Freddy is my favorite animatronic.

As night guard,ford using Stanley as the name.This not only refers to his brother but also Stanley who works at the circus baby and rental whose identity is basically used by Ford several times.

Ford loves gamble, he basically makes money with that (Sometimes he really thinks he should stop.but he does it again)

During his adventures in Michael's dimension he got several nicknames from several people.

° Cassidy calls him "big brain" and sometimes "smart guy", but she often uses "big brain" as a nickname.

° Henry call him hex Dexter after They know each other

° Mike always calls him stanford and sometimes more formally. But he also calls him "smart guy" a few times.

° Some of the people he had conned called him "finger felon" or "vile vertuoso"

° Police often call him "lucky larcenist." With all the things he does.

° bill Still using "sixer, IQ, brainiac" but on certain occasions when he with Cassidy,Bill calls him "the princess's knight" or "sunflower stem" or just "stem". (Sunflower is symbol or zodiac for mike and Cassidy)

Ford is always anxious whenever Cassidy is not in his dreams. He sometimes panics because of it. Until finally Mike gives him his Fredbear plush (Which of course he has fixed up to look like golden freddy) and says that it's mini version of Cassidy

Stanford really hate William, not only his relationship with Bill but also what William did to Schmidt family

Ford really had no interest in anything other than his research.(Bill has traumatized him enough)

After returning to his dimension with the Schmidt family, the first thing he does is go to Utah to check on Freddy's. Which when he gets there, it really stresses him out.

Ford believes on the kids But he really doesn't want to involve them with the portal and rift stuff. He still sends Mabel to get the unicorn hair, but with Cassidy with her

Like Michael, Ford likes to write in his logbook, some of the things are rather unimportant, but some of the things also concern his feelings for Stanley and other little things he likes that he can't write in his other journal.

Henry : I thought he was my best friend... So there's no way he would betray me....

Ford : I understand that feeling hen...

Henry : You think burning the place down is a good idea?

Ford : hell yeah!

Ryan knew that much.

He couldn’t paint his face with glee, neither could he risk being seen doing such a thing.

His father would be furious, Elizabeth would laugh, and he wouldn’t hear the end of it from Michael. So by the early hours of Sunday morning, when his father and Elizabeth had gone to mass and Michael had snuck out to escape the hour-long lecture of The Lord, Ryan jumped out of his bed and dug through his closet.

He was always good at pretending he was sick.

This was one of those days.

And ignoring the guilt eating at his very soul, he dug into the deepest part of his closet to take out one small object. A cylinder enraptured of fake gold and once opened and twisted produced a red stick of colored paste. His teacher’s lipstick was in his hands and he rushed toward his friends, showing them the object in his hand.

“Look,” he said with a bright smile on his face.

The animal plushies all stood still but it was Fredbear who had managed to speak up.

“What is it?”

“Lipstick.”

“Lipstick?” The golden bear tilted its giant fluffy head, “Where did you get it, Ryan?”

“From my teacher, Mrs. Parker,” he quickly corrected himself, stuttering, “I-uh-I’ll put it back, I swear. I just wanted to use it.”

Fredbear hummed in response, the young boy unsure if it was a calculated hum or a teasing hum. The golden bear came close, perching itself onto the boy’s lap.

“Well,” it said, “Use it!”

“Hold on.”

Ryan moved to get a mirror. It was Elizabeth’s but Ryan swore to return it before she came back from mass. Next, he brought out the jack-in-the-box that Uncle Henry had given him on his last birthday. He set it down and quickly winded the box, the playful tune echoing across his room before the Puppet rose from its tight containment.

Ryan laughed at the shock of its appearance, then turned to Fredbear to state his plan.

“I’m gonna look like him!”

Fredbear hummed, still watching with curiosity as the boy raised the handheld mirror and started to twirl the lipstick onto his cheeks. He had then brushed back his hair with a headband, slightly afraid that the lipstick may stain his hair. For a while, the boy repeated the act, looking at the Puppet for reference, turning to the mirror to look, and applying the red lipstick to his face to match the doll. He looked happy, cheerful even, jumping slightly with joy as he slowly but surely matched the doll in more ways than one.

It wasn’t perfect, obviously, but it was enough.

It was more than enough.

It was incredible.

Ryan smiled wide as he looked at his friends, repeating the phrase over and over.

“I look like a clown! I look like a clown! I look like a clown!”

He made a move to apply more lipstick on his red lips, a bubbling laugh escaping as he did so.

There was a knock on the door, causing Ryan to drag the lipstick over his chin in shock and he looked at the locked door.

“Ryan?”

The doorknob jiggled from repeated turns and the boy’s heart started to race.

“What are you doing in there?”

Canon clarifications:

My father was NOT an alcoholic. I have no clue where people are getting that idea from. The building in the Midnight Motorist mini game was NEVER a bar in my timeline. I'm not exactly sure what it was (Fredbear's, Freddy's, or something else entirely, maybe), but not a bar.

It drives me crazy every time I see this take. There has never been a reference to alcoholism anywhere else in the games or books. It would be incredibly random to have that building be a bar, of all things. More than anything, it feels like a cop-out for people to explain away my father's actions ("he killed because he was a drunk, he was abusive because he was a drunk") rather than accepting that some people are just... evil.

My father did not do those things because he was addicted to a substance. He did so because he's always been a terrible person, deep down. His charismatic businessman persona was NOTHING like the way he was at home. When he wasn't neglecting us, he was hurting us. He literally HIT LIZZY for bothering him once, and I remember experiencing the same treatment for most (if not all) of my childhood. He was always incredibly controlling and his image mattered more than anything else, even his own family. He wouldn't be caught dead in a drunken stupor.

It just feels like people are using the "William was an alcoholic" idea to minimize the damage he did. I've seen people claim that certain murders of his were spontaneous, and so he must have been drunk, but everything he did was meticulously planned. He knew what he was doing the entire time, and he was stone-cold sober for all of it.

I'm aware there are probably timelines where he was an alcoholic. Where that building was a bar. But in my universe, it wasn't, and it bugs me to constantly see that take spoken as fact. It's speculation, at most, just like everything else in the series.

Plus, an additional thought I don't have anywhere else to talk about:

My friend with the Freddy mask was NOT Jeremy Fitzgerald. They were both named Jeremy, yeah, but not the same person. Freddy wasn't even Jeremy Fitzgerald's favorite animatronic in my timeline, it was Bonnie (which I'm not sure why I know, because we weren't particularly close; just coworkers, for a period of time). Not sure where this idea came from, honestly.

Killer Henry au ideas/concepts I’ve come up with so far

Killer Henry au ideas/concepts so far:

Henry is the killer and Charlie takes the role Michael Afton has in the og timeline. SpringBonnie commits the Bite of 83, Sammy is the bite of 83 victim and after getting his head crushed by SpringBonnies mouth. After his older sister Charlie along with her friends(from the novel trilogy), John(who replaces jeremy/Bonnie bully), Carlton(Freddy bully), Jessica(Chica bully) and Charlie herself if the foxy bully except her mask looks more like Funtime Foxy/Fixed Mangle.

 Sammy later possess SpringBonnie along side Michael Brooks forming the Golden Bonnie ghost (Cassidy is just regular bonnie in this au, like she is in the novel trilogy universe) Fnaf 4 in this universe replaces Nightmare Foxy and Nightmare Fredbear with Nightmare Mangle and Nightmare SpringBonnie. 

Michael Afton and Garrett Afton are twins, Elizabeth does not exist in this timeline with Michael being the one Henry murders and who later goes on to possess the puppet who gives live to the mci and dci victims leading them to possess the classic/withereds and the toys.

 He later gets trapped inside Righty a white green version of Rockstar Foxy wearing purple makeup, missing his right eye and having no eyepatch to cover it built to capture the puppet so it can take Mike's soul to the Pizza Place where it can be burned and freed.

 Mrs Emily(Henry’s wife) possess Funtime Chica who takes the role of Circus Baby in this Au, Funtime Freddy is replaced with Funtime Bonnie, Ballora is replaced with Circus Ennard(the animatronic Ennards mask came from in the og timeline) and Funtime Foxy is replaced with Lolbit, the Ennard and Molten Freddy of this universe are Gutted Chica and Molten Bonnie.

 Charlie also is the one to be scooped in this au however due to remnants regenerative powers she regains her normal human look after some time, Fnaf 3’s cast consists of Beartrap(Henry) Phantom Toy Freddy Phantom Toy Bonnie, Phantom Bonnie(Classic Bonnie as a base) Phantom Withered Chica Phantom JJ, Phantom Puppet and “The Costume” who is basically just the physical SpringBonnie animatronic.

 Fnaf 6’s cast consists of Scrap Chica, Molten Bonnie, BearScrap and Righty the fox, Helpy is based off Funtime Bonnie since there is no Funtime Freddy and Yenndo is a rabbit endo called grenndo of course WIlliam is the one who sets fire to the Fnaf 6 pizza place in this universe events of Fnaf 6.

 Later in the timeline the mimic is infected with Henry’s memories and takes the form of Glitchbear in the VR game he later becomes BurnBear physically mimicking Beartrap. Blob/Tangle’s main head is a Funtime Bonnie mask and the Circus Baby head is replaced with a Funtime Chica head Vanny in this universe is a red bear with a torn off right ear with stuffing pouring out of the missing ears place(a reference to Redbear from fnaf world, since i’ve always seen Vanny herself as reference to White Rabbit from Fnaf world).

once Glitchbear is killed in Help Wanted 2’s events the mimic goes back to his normal self like in the og canon.

 Also Wade is the sole survivor from the tales from the pizzaplex epilogues in this au instead of Lucia. Lucia dies in this au and Wade survives. 

Wade also has his own arch in the story where he returns to the pizzaplex after its construction is finished to try and find closure as to what happened to his friends where he meets a young man around his age named Cody that he develops feelings for but tries to deny it not because he’s closeted but because he’s afraid he’ll lose him too in a very horrific manner like he did his friends a year prior. Glamrock MR Hippo also who replaced Glamrock Bonnie will also be an ally to Wade through his journey through the pizzaplex. Glamrock Mr Hippo is Killed by Glamrock Freddy while trying to protect Wade from him.

The main antagonists of his arc will be The Mimic/Burnbear and Vanny(Redbear version) while being guided by Glamrock Mr Hippo his friends/their spirits inside the Blob/Tangle. He ultimately ends up getting saved by the Blob/Tangle while being attacked by both The Mimic/Burnbear and Vanny.

 I plan to give Wade a happy ending when I eventually get to writing his story arch in this au, I have plans for both Wade and Cody(he’s an oc) to get together at the end where they move far away from Hurricane Utah away from the Mimic, and Fazbear entertainment and their brand as a whole also I am gonna write a scene of Wade fighting Vanny since unlike Gregory he’d be a fully grown adult(technically still a teenager since he’d be 19 when his story arch happens since it’s a year after the tftpp epilogues of this au) but ya know what I mean, so he’d have a much better fighting chance against Vanny/Vanessa

Jeremy Fitzgerald and John swap roles with John being the Fnaf 2 night guard up until night 8 where during the morning shift he is bitten by mangle. Carlton fills in for him on night 8. 

Charlie’s fake name during  FNaf 1 in  this au is Charlotte Shelly (shelly being the fake last name movie Vanessa used in the films). 

In the security breach of this au Monty is Gregory’s companion and Monty and Glamrock Freddy swap personalities and Glamrock Chica and Roxy swap personalities in this au and each of the glamrocks designs change to match they're swapped personalities. There is no Glamrock Bonnie, instead Glamrock Mr Hippo takes his place. 

Stitchwraith stingers and the stories related to them are canon in this au as well however certain characters and events are changed to match the au’s events, PitTrap is now PitBear, Eleanor is based off of Funtime Chica instead of Circus Baby count the ways features Funtime Bonnie instead of Funtime Freddy 

The Rockstars are built with the opposite purpose of the Funtimes. Rockstar animatronics function like Righty. They capture possessed smaller animatronics or objects that will fit inside of their bodies and take them to William who then burns them setting the souls inside free which he ends up doing to the bots in Fnaf 6

Idk if any of you watch FNAF The Musical, but I do so you're gonna hear me ramble about it. (Shadows of Agony spoilers)

Glitchtrap's line "You're not William Afton" in Shadows of Agony really threw me off. But I went back and rewatched all the musicals that MatPat's character is in, and found something weird.

With one exception, he is never referred to as William Afton. It is nearly always Phone Guy or Mr. Afton, even in the original series.

(There's also a newspaper clipping in Dark Remains that says "owner William Afton", but it doesn't directly refer to MatPat's character so it could be referring to someone else)

The one exception is in Dark Remains, where Elizabeth says "Uncle William likes rabbits". This reference feels like a throwaway line (I didn't catch it on my first few watchthroughs). But it has me thinking.

Now, I haven't played FNAF (so forgive me if I'm wrong about this lore), but I've watched a lot of Game Theory, and William Afton is associated with rabbits. He wears the Springlock/Golden Bonnie suit to lure the children to their deaths. Fredbear is Bonnie's stage partner and Henry Emily is William's business partner. And who wears a bear suit in FNAF The Musical?

I think that MatPat's character is Henry Emily.

This leads to two possibilities:

Both Henry and William are Elizabeth's uncles, either by being brothers, brothers in law, partners or if "uncle" is just a nickname for one/both of them (like how some children call close family friends uncle). However, then Glitchtrap's line doesn't really make sense, because why would he think Henry is William?

Henry is pretending to be William. In this case, Glitchtrap's line makes sense, but it seems unrealistic that Elizabeth didn't realise that her uncle was replaced by someone else. I do think this does make more sense, since the restaurant assessment guy does call him Mr Afton. Also, in the original series, he appears to still have hands, so maybe it is the real William Afton in that series.

This isn't a perfect theory, but I don't really care. I'm just having fun. I cannot wait for the next part.

Why I Personally Believe That The MCI + Charlie's Death Happened PRE-1983

(tl;dr - there's things from Fnaf 4 that have been haunting me for years, i don't really like the books (for several reasons), and i actually think it would make MORE sense if the MCI + Charlie were the first deaths)

alright. let me lay out things in order here:

Number 1: "But...we already have a death year, it's 1985!"

okay...let me put this as simply as i can:

first off, The Novels: these are the books where Charlie's a robot. along with other weird shit.

second, Into The Pit: not only is the Incident described completely differently, it's. The Fazbear Frights books. there's a lot of shit in there that, while some of it may connect to the games, i'd personally argue that most of it doesn't. Need I Point To Fazgoo?

also: the books and games are supposed to be separate universes to my knowledge. while events and things may line up, not everything is gonna be exactly the same.

ALSO ALSO: in the movies, the year is 1987. the death year is 1987. if that's not some evidence for the MCI year potentially being inconsistent by universe, then i don't know what is. Why Would They Make The Movie's MCI Year Different When They Could've Confirmed It?

Number 2: The Weirdness Of The Fredbear Plush

before i hear anyone say "But It's William Speaking Through A Walkie-Talkie!" please just listen to me on this

while i do agree that this has a lot of evidence behind it...there are still things that William speaking through the plushie just...doesn't really explain. to me, anyway.

for example...why does it seem to teleport? specifically stuff like it Being A Flower and suddenly ending up in the sewers.

also...this thing seems to know more about CC than i think William would like. logically be able to know, even if he was using the plush to spy on him. plus...we SEE William in the Fnaf 4 minigames...helping someone into a suit. we see nothing like a walkie-talkie with him, and if he were trying to keep an eye on CC...why aren't we shown that? he seems more concerned with helping another employee than keeping an eye on his son. also, if William's trying to keep CC away from animatronics to keep him safe, as is the common belief with this theory...why would he tell his son to go run past the animatronics to find help? especially if he's, y'know....RIGHT THERE??

also...you know what CC's running away from? someone in a springlock suit. and whoever is talking to him specifically says something along the lines of "You know what will happen if he catches you!" which....why would William say that? why would William imply that something bad's gonna happen to CC if CC gets caught by that guy? when, for all we know (and is most likely), he's just doing his job?

unless, of course...whoever is talking to CC was "caught" by someone in a springlock suit and then hurt/killed afterwards, and they're trying to make sure that the same fate doesn't befall him, too.

i also saw a guy mention this in a theory, but...we also don't see the plushie in this scene at all. which could also imply that it's not a walkie-talkie or anything, but maybe a spirit.

also, the final cutscene of Fnaf 4: one thing that never made sense to me was the "WE are still your friends" comment. if this is William...for one thing, if it WAS William the whole time...he's also been telling his son this whole time that his older brother, Michael, hates him. if the 'We' he's referring to is him and Michael...then we already have a problem. but the 'We' he's referring to also can't be CC's other plushies; William can't see into CC's mind, and thus can't know what's going in CC's last moments. he doesn't know that CC is watching his plushies fade into darkness, how could he?

so...who do i think is speaking through the plush? long story short; whoever the Golden Freddy/Fredbear MCI kid is.

heck, if you wanna argue that the SLIGHTLY different text colors for Fredbear in the final cutscene mean that someone else is talking, i can still explain it! that's Charlie. think about it, it would still make sense if it were her! she's the one who 'gave life' to the other kids, and that's effectively what the speaker in that cutscene is promising CC.

also, if the plushies represent the other MCI kids, as this theory implies...this means that CC probably knew them all before they died. making his comment about his plushies, "These are my friends," that much more depressing.

this also gives a potential explanation for "What [CC] saw"...but we'll get there in a bit.

Number 3: The Pigtail Girl Dialogue's Been Haunting Me

let me start out with what the Pigtail Girl Dialogue is, for those unaware:

"You'd better watch out! I hear they come to life at night. And if you die, they hide your body and never tell anyone. Why do you look so worried? See you at the party! Ha ha ha!" (< you'll understand what the bolded part is for later, trust me)

i've seen a couple of different explanations for this:

one is that she's referring to springlock suits, specifically that the kids saw people being helped into the suits and that this is where the rumors started.

another is that she's referring to a springlock failure, and that the "hiding bodies" part is referring to the company covering it up.

but here's the thing...neither of these would explain how the "come to life at night" part of the rumor started. because these would've likely been things witnessed during the day.

like, i've seen no one bring up this whole thing at all. there's not a lot of explanations i've seen that explain what PG could be referencing with this that are more satisfying than her referencing the animatronics moving around and killing guards post-MCI. like?? why do people not talk about this??

Number 4: "But isn't Afton's motive-?" SHUT.

FIRST OFF, WE DON'T TECHNICALLY KNOW WHAT AFTON'S ACTUAL MOTIVE IS. WE'VE HAD TO GUESS WHAT IT IS.

like!! in the Novels, i don't think it's fully explained what Afton's motive for Charlie's murder was. maybe it was, but i've never heard it.

in the games, we're not even given too much indication of a potential motive for Afton. we just have to guess it was the Bite of '83, and it was either his grief or desire to bring his son from the dead that motivated him (at least at first).

i've only really seen it recently where theorists seem to finally be bringing up that perhaps William was just...always fucked up. maybe he never needed a reason, he just did it because he could.

heck, some people have headcanoned that William was just drunk and pissed off the night that Charlie died, and i've seen it range from William accidentally hit her while drunk driving and that's what killed her, to William just being in a drunken rage that night and he just. killed her, maybe before he even realized what he'd done. maybe he was pissed at Henry, who the fuck knows.

long story short, no, we technically don't have a clear motive for William.

Number 5: "But how could Fredbear's still be open? Wouldn't the suits still be in use? How did no one find the body?"

okay, hear me out:

William Moved The Body Somewhere Else.

like...we've got implications that the GF MCI kid might've been springlocked and killed (Fredbear's twitching in UCN is...incredibly similar to Springtrap's twitching in Fnaf 3. both in the trailer and in the minigame where he gets springlocked).

so it's a possibility that William springlocked the kid and then dumped the body somewhere else.

other thing that points to this: the empty suit that either seems to have wires or hair sticking out. i think Dual Process Theory pointed out that if these were wires, then we would've also seen them on the Springbonnie suit that William was helping the employees into. so of course, that then points those things sticking out being hairs.

also, the Fredbear MCI kid's death always seems to be implied to be different somehow. in the "Give Gifts, Give Life" minigame, the fifth kid isn't seen until the end, where they teleport in from seemingly nowhere. it's almost like, for some reason, the fifth kid wasn't there with the other kids at Freddy's, and they had died somewhere else, but were connected to the MCI anyway due to the similarities in their case.

Number 6: "But the Faz-Tokens-" S H U T.

i actually have another way to explain why the tokens would say 1983! and this is actually an idea i got from a friend of mine when we talked about it irl.

the idea is that Freddy's didn't necessarily open in 1983, but that 1983 is when the company specifically was founded.

my friend said that it could've been a thing where Freddy's didn't have their own personal tokens for the arcade at the time, but once they got enough money and Fazbear Entertainment as a company was created in 1983, then they could make these little custom tokens.

so long story short: the tokens have another potential explanation.

Number 7: Other Reasons For This Version Of The Timeline To Make Sense

the MCI is always described as taking place "many years ago," or treated like it's been quite a while since they happened. even in Fnaf 2, Phone Guy just says says that they left the "old place" to rot for "quite a while," but...that's still vague. why not make it more specific in the games? why not put dates on the newspapers?

i am of the opinion that the newspaper articles we see in Fnaf 1 are all close in date, considering that the first two mention the MCI and the third mentions the blood and mucus...but i think that the fourth newspaper article was printed later than the others. specifically, that one was written when the original location closed in 1985. why do i think this? because the final newspaper refers to the MCI as taking place "many years ago." but why would it not be about the closure of the Fnaf 1 location? well, a couple of reasons:

for one, the newspaper immediately before it references the whole "blood and mucus" thing. normally, i'd think that this was just the kids doing paranormal stuff to get someone to find/discover their bodies...but it also mentions mucus. blood by itself is one thing, that can be written off as something paranormal. blood and mucus implies that this is from where the bodies were starting to decay a little bit. at the time when Fnaf 1 was taking place, the blood would've dried a long time ago, and likely any mucus, too. and we see nothing like Paranormal Blood-Leakage in Fnaf 1, so i'm taking this as a sign that this newspaper was written around the time of the initial incident.

another thing is that if the other three articles are all about the MCI at around the time it happened...wouldn't it be odd for there to just be an article amongst them that's much closer to present time than the others?

so yeah, long story short: the MCI happening pre-1983 even fits with how the Incident is described in canon as being "many years ago."

Finally, All Together Now:

here's the timeline with this thing -

at some point, pre-1983 (perhaps a year or two before), William was driving home from a bar, incredibly drunk. for reasons that aren't entirely clear, Charlie is locked outside of either of Freddy's or Fredbear's, depending on where you think the Puppet was at the time. William kills Charlie while he's drunk, either by accidentally hitting her/running her over, or by getting out and killing her. she is left/dumped in the alley afterwards and then goes on to possess the Puppet, who crawled outside to find her.

after this, for unclear reasons, William kills again, first killing four children at Freddy's (potentially unbeknownst to him, friends of his youngest son), before killing a fifth at Fredbear's by springlocking them.

however, his youngest son ended up witnessing this murder, and it traumatized him (maybe William had been in the suit, and that's why CC only seems traumatized by the animatronics specifically. he not only witnessed one of his friends getting springlocked, but he saw another animatronic responsible for the murder) (< yes, this is the thing i was implying earlier)

^ whether William was aware of this is up to you.

William disposes of the body so that nobody who used the suit would find them.

however, the fifth MCI kid would not just haunt the suit like the others. they possessed the Fredbear plush to communicate with their friend and keep him safe...hopefully.

fast forward to the Fnaf 4 minigames: Michael bullies his brother, and CC is faced with constant reminders of the loss of his friends, with rumors spreading about the animatronics at Freddy's coming to life at night and killing guards, only for the deaths to be covered up by the company. all the while, the spirit of one of his friends watches over him.

then Michael fucks up, leaving CC in the hospital.

in his coma, either the spirit of the Fredbear MCI kid or Charlie come to him, promising to help him. as Michael tearfully apologizes to his dying brother, CC is comforted by being told that his friends still care for him, that they're still there. and the spirit talking to him promises to put him back together. in the only way they know how to.

he flatlines, but goes on to possess Fredbear with the MCI kid.

anyway, that's just my thoughts on Pre-1983 MCI, at least in the canon games. this ain't about my Rewrite.

Timeline 2 - Until Death Do Us Part AU

Hayley learns about Henry’s daughter’s death and the five missing children and reacts negatively to the news. Resulting in her own death.  

Timeline 3 - Loyalty AU

Hayley learns about the children’s deaths and isn’t thrilled but agrees to help cover it up in hopes it won't happen again and in an attempt to understand why her husband would do such things.
