There's something that I love about when an author chooses the best, most poignant moment to just have a wall of repeating text. It could have easily been cheesy but with the right setup it can come off as being sooooo intriguingly unhinged.

(I'm thinking about Xie Lian's "IT HURTS IT HURTS IT HURTS" and Cardan's "JUDE JUDE JUDE" by the way. They're both pivotal moments that reframe everything you know about their characters up until that point, but then you're finally like, "ohhhh...it makes sense why you are the way that you are...")
