is there no one around to tell them how bad and stupid this idea is? streaming service? i've been a fan of their work since buzzfeed and i'm happy that they want to improve/move up professionally, they really deserve it for all the amazing work they deliver, but THIS? no no no no. i don't agree with that at all. not everyone will be able to pay to watch, people from OTHER COUNTRIES won't be able to pay (like me), the channel has already started to lose subscribers and that in itself should serve as a warning about the mistake they ended up making. i, like any other fan, would be more than happy to contribute to maintaining the quality of the content they offer us, but this was betrayal. i >never< imagined they would be able to literally self-sabotage themselves like that. the thing about the streaming service? is that it NEVER ends well. fans lift up and support artists and will be there to support them when their career takes a rollercoaster, yes, but we deserve so much more than to be betrayed at the first damn opportunity

ok so in volume 53 (the birth of naruto) there's a flashback to the kyuubi attack and a bunch of people dying. we see naruto's parents (mostly kushina) monologue to him pre-kicking it, we see iruka's parents giving their lives for him, and then there's kurenai's dad.

you know whats wild is all those movies and tv shows (often us american made) that have a scene where theres a shady looking guy and a background character glimpses a gun under the guys coat and screams like “oh my god he’s got a gun!!” and the whole room panics and everyone dives for cover and the cops come and tackle the guy and stuff. and then you’re actually in the united states and you’re 11 years old sitting in a family restaurant with your grandparents and you see this dude pass your table with his whole family including small children being led to their table. and this dude just has a gun in his belt. and you’re 11 so you’re immediately on red alert like omg this guy has a gun!! he’s a Bad Guy like in the movies!! but then no one says anything. and you find out that that’s actually just like a legal thing to do. what the fuck

Not gonna lie, it does make my eye twitch that if you go into most tags of Black artists who've collabed with Gorillaz, it's like INUNDATED with nothing but Gorillaz shit.
