What Is a Full Spectrum Led Grow Light?
Tumblr media
LED grow lights are relatively new technology. Well, the advantage is, it can produce a multitude of different emission spectra. Ideally, these lights replicate an electromagnetic spectrum alike natural sunlight. It also offers plants an essential wavelength for their growth.
What Is Traditional Led Grow Light?
A good LED grow light typically uses a combination of blue and red LED. It creates a pinkish-purple emission, finally resulting in a mix of blue and red light. Under traditional grow lights plants can perform photosynthesis most effectively in blue and red part of the spectrum.
Well, the narrow part of the entire spectrum is covered – it is typically far from what we consider full spectrum. Ideally, these grow lights are monochromatic, a combination of blue LED and red LED.
Grow Light Spectrum
Full spectrum LED grow lights are widely used by indoor growers. Well, technology of grow has been increasing rapidly and full spectrum grow lights are increasing in the industry. In addition, these LED grow lights can be used to manipulate and scale plant production and growth.
Take a look at the most important factors you should consider about full spectrum LED grow lights.
Well, first of all you need to focus on the grow light spectrum. It is the wavelength produced by the light, that almost works as the Sun. in addition, there are a range of wavelength and growers that may affect plants’ growth.
In plants, chlorophyl converts the energy in the light to the chemical energy. It mostly absorbs the red and blue lights. These two combinations are also found in the PAR range of spectrum.
Daily Light Intervals
It is a fancy way to saying the light is off. Typically, young plants require lights for longer period and mature plants need more intense lights. Well, the function of full spectrum LED lights almost similar like the Sun since it all colors of spectrum. Young cannabis plants need more blue light and flowering cannabis need red lights. These artificial lights can help the plant grow effectively.

Whether you’re new to growing or you’re just new to LED lighting, this fast-advancing technology might have your mind reeling. To make the most of LEDs, you have to understand LED grow light intensity and coverage. And even experienced HID growers have a bit of a learning curve when it comes to LED lighting metrics.
Tumblr media
You see, HID grow lights come with a fairly basic of rules to define “quality light.” When selecting HPS and MH bulbs, high wattage automatically means high intensity. You follow a set formula for the watts needed to cover a grow area, and select your lights accordingly. LED grow lights are more complicated for one simple reason: They’re more efficient. Top-tier LED lights require less energy to produce the same intensity of light. Not only that, they also emit the exact color spectrum your plants need and focus those photons directly onto the canopy. This eliminates waste, ensuring you only consume as much energy as you need for your crop. This efficacy is good for your budget and the environment. Suffice to say, it’s worth the time it takes to understand LED grow light intensity and coverage. We’ll walk you through everything you need to know in clear and simple language.
What LED Grow Light Intensity Really Means
When we talk about light intensity, we’re referring to the amount or strength of light produced. With that in mind, let’s clear up one of the greatest misconceptions about grow light intensity. Watts do not equal intensity. A watt is simply a measurement of electric power. It tells you the amount of energy your lights require in order to operate. The only reason growers associate watts with light intensity is because all HID bulbs are fairly uniform in terms of wattage. There is a pretty consistent wattage input to lumen output ratio for HPS and MH grow lights. This is not the case with LED lights. Not only are quality LEDs far more efficient than HIDs, but there is a wide range of efficacy among LED grow lamps. A quality 300-watt LED luminaire produces greater light intensity and higher quality light output than a cheap LED grow light of the same wattage. In order to make sense of LED grow light intensity and coverage, you need to get familiar with different metrics. This may feel like a lot at first but stick with us. We’re going to take this step by step.
Understanding the Metrics of LED Grow Light Intensity and Coverage
When you research different LED lights, there are certain metrics you should look for. As we said before, watts are not relevant for determining the intensity or coverage of LEDs. Don’t worry about lumens, either. Lumens simply refer to the visual brightness of a light; it has nothing to do with how well your plants can use that light. Here are the metrics that do matter when determining the intensity of an LED grow light.
PAR
Grow light manufacturers engineer LED lights to provide a high intensity of usable light. We refer to this usable light as photosynthetically active radiation or PAR. You see, your plants only use certain wavelengths for photosynthesis. These wavelengths all fall within the visible light range of 400-700nm. As a grower, your greatest concern should not be the amount of light your grow light produces, but the amount of light within the PAR range. Anything outside the range is useless to your plants. PAR is measured in micromoles. If you want to do a deep dive into micromoles, you can learn more about LED metrics here.
Coverage Area
Every LED grow light you consider should have information regarding the lamp’s footprint. This refers to the coverage area—the square footage of canopy that will fall under the beam of the luminaire. Now, the footprint is important for determining how many and which lights you need for your grow room or tent. But there is also an important correlation between LED grow light intensity and coverage area. This correlation is referred to as the inverse square law of light. We’ll spare you the complicated formulas and just cut to the chase: The farther an object is from the light source, the less intense the light is when it reaches that object. And light intensity drops off fast. Let’s say you have a lamp hanging at a 1-foot distance from your canopy. Then, you increase the hanging height to a distance of 2 feet. You will now have a light intensity that is ¼ of what it was before. Major difference, right? This is why the coverage area is essential. Not only do the size and lenses of your LED grow light determine your coverage area, but so does hanging height. The greater the distance between your lights and canopy, the larger the footprint . . . but the lower the light intensity. This is why it’s very important to pay attention to hanging heights and coverage area when selecting a light. These metrics tell you the conditions under which your plants receive the advertised. PPFD. And what is PPFD? Glad you asked.
PPFD
Thanks to the inverse square law, it simply isn’t enough to just know how much PAR your grow lights produce. PAR only tells you how many usable photons your LED light emits. The amount of PAR that actually reaches your plants . . . that’s a whole other measurement. PPFD stands for photosynthetic photon flux density. Your LED grow light’s PPFD metrics tell you the number of PAR photons reaching your canopy each second. This metric is expressed as micromoles per square meter per second (or umol/m²/s). So what’s a good PPFD number? It depends on what you grow. Different plants have different needs. Many flowering plants, for example, prefer 300—600 umols for vegetative growth and 800—1,000 umols in the flowering stage.
Uniformity in LED Grow Light Intensity and Coverage
Now that we have a better grip on LED light intensity, let’s talk a little more about your coverage area. LED grow light intensity and coverage are related not just through hanging heights, but also through light spread. Depending on the specific LED lamp, you could experience a decrease in light intensity at the outer edges of the footprint. This is why it’s so important to do your due diligence when choosing the best LED grow light. Let’s say, for example, that you need a grow light to cover a 5’ x 5’ canopy. You find an LED lamp with a 5’ x 5’ footprint and a PPFD that falls within the ideal range for your crop. But then after a few weeks, you notice that the plants directly under your light are thriving, while those at the edges look a little weaker. The problem is that the PPFD provided by the manufacturer only measured photons reaching a surface directly below the lamp. The manufacturer neglected to inform you that their product does not achieve an even light spread. When evaluating LED grow light intensity and coverage, pay close attention to uniformity. Request a PPFD map from the manufacturer. This map shows PAR measurements for various hanging heights and across surface areas. PPFD maps make it easier for you to compare LED grow lights and determine how many lights you actually need.
Light Intensity and Efficacy
As we previously mentioned, wattage is not a clear indication of LED light intensity because LED lights vary inefficiency. While HID efficacy is fixed, LED lights consistently advance to achieve greater intensity for less energy input. This is why high quality LED grow lights are astoundingly cost-effective in the long run. In addition to boasting a much longer life span, LED lights provide greater intensity at about half the energy expense. If you’ve ever used HID grow lights, you know that achieving an even spread of light requires the use of reflectors. This is another area where LED grow lights simplify your grow operation. Quality LEDs are made to spread light with uniform intensity. All light is directed down onto the canopy, so there’s less need to bounce lost light back to your plants. This is why we say it’s more than worth it to work at understanding LED grow light intensity and coverage. You stand to save significant money on your cultivation process, and you can enjoy higher yields and a better product. If there’s anything we can do at LUXINT to help you determine which LED grow lights are right for you, please reach out. We’ll talk through the needs of your specific grow space and help you calculate the benefits of using leading LED technology.

can i request the boys w/ an autistic reader who has a meltdown in public and feels like an embarrassment after?? (comfort fic 🩷)
Thank you so much ! as someone who is also on the spectrum I completely get what it's like for things out of your control to happen and it all gets too much x
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
Gale:
The marketplace was bustling with activity, the mix of sounds, bright colors, and mingling scents becoming overwhelming. You could feel the pressure building inside, your senses on high alert, and your chest tightening with each passing moment. Then, it happened – the meltdown. You sank to the ground, hands over your ears, trying to block out the world around you.
Gale, who had been browsing a nearby stall, noticed your distress immediately. He rushed to your side, kneeling down to your level, his face etched with concern.
"It's alright, my love," he said softly, his voice a soothing balm against the chaos. "I'm here. Focus on my voice."
He reached out, gently touching your shoulder, a grounding presence amidst the storm. Slowly, he guided you to a quieter corner of the marketplace, shielding you from prying eyes with his cloak.
Once the worst of it had passed, and your breathing began to steady, Gale held you close, his arms providing a secure, comforting embrace.
"You have nothing to be embarrassed about," he whispered. "You did nothing wrong. It's just the world being too much sometimes. And I will always be here to help you through it."
Despite his reassurances, you felt a flush of humiliation. "I'm sorry," you muttered, unable to meet his eyes. "I just… I couldn't handle it."
Gale cupped your face gently, making you look at him. "There's nothing to apologize for," he said firmly. "Everyone has their limits, and you are incredibly strong for facing yours. Never feel ashamed for being who you are."
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
Astarion:
The tavern was noisy, the laughter and music growing louder and more boisterous as the night wore on. The flickering candlelight and the press of bodies were too much, and you felt the meltdown coming before you could stop it. Tears streamed down your face as you sank to the floor, feeling utterly exposed.
Astarion, who had been charming a group of patrons nearby, immediately noticed your distress. He pushed through the crowd with a determined look and crouched down beside you.
"Darling, look at me," he said urgently, his eyes locking onto yours. "Focus on me. You're safe."
He wrapped his arms around you, a protective barrier against the overwhelming environment. Ignoring the curious stares of onlookers, Astarion whispered soothing words, his cool voice a steadying force. When the worst subsided, he helped you to your feet and led you outside into the cool night air.
"Don't ever feel embarrassed around me," he said, his voice soft but firm. "This world can be cruel and unforgiving, but you are stronger than you know. And I will always stand by your side, no matter what."
You wiped at your tear-streaked face, feeling a deep sense of shame.
"I made a scene in front of everyone," you said quietly, your voice trembling. Astarion tilted your chin up to meet his gaze.
"Let them stare," he said with a hint of defiance. "You are the bravest person I know, and nothing will change that. You did what you needed to survive, and I will always admire you for that."
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
Wyll:
The festival was in full swing, the sights and sounds becoming too much to bear. The bright lights, loud music, and jostling crowds all combined into a sensory overload, triggering a meltdown. You dropped to the ground, tears spilling down your cheeks as you tried to block out the chaos.
Wyll, who had been speaking with some townsfolk, saw your distress and immediately rushed over. He knelt down beside you, his face filled with concern and understanding.
"Hey, hey, it's okay," he murmured, his voice calm and soothing. "I'm here with you."
He gently took your hand, guiding you away from the crowd to a quieter spot. Wyll knelt beside you, wrapping you in his strong, comforting embrace, shielding you from the overwhelming environment.
"You're incredibly brave," he said softly once you had calmed down. "Never feel embarrassed for being who you are. You're perfect just the way you are, and I'm here to support you through anything."
Your cheeks burned with humiliation. "I ruined the festival," you said, your voice barely above a whisper. "Everyone must think I'm weak."
Wyll shook his head firmly. "You didn't ruin anything," he said. "You faced a challenge that most people can't even imagine. That makes you stronger than any of them. And to me, you are the most incredible person in the world."
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
Halsin:
The forest clearing was supposed to be a peaceful retreat, but the gathering of people, the chatter, and the flickering campfires became overwhelming. You felt the meltdown building, and soon you were on the ground, hands clutching your head as you tried to shut out the world.
Halsin, ever attuned to your emotions, noticed immediately. He was at your side in an instant, his presence a grounding force.
"Easy, my heart," he murmured, his voice a deep, calming rumble. "I'm here. Focus on the sound of my voice, the feel of my touch."
He enveloped you in his arms, shielding you from the overwhelming stimuli. Halsin gently guided you away from the crowd, into the serene embrace of the forest where the sounds of nature provided a soothing backdrop. As you calmed, he held you close, his touch gentle and reassuring.
"You have nothing to be ashamed of," he said softly. "The world can be overwhelming, but you are strong. And together, we can face anything. I'm here for you, always."
Despite his comforting words, you couldn't help but feel embarrassed. "I made such a scene," you said, your voice shaking. "Everyone was watching."
Halsin kissed your forehead, his gaze filled with love. "Let them watch," he said. "You showed incredible courage today. Never feel ashamed for being yourself. I love you for who you are, and I will always be here to support you."

Black hole in early universe appears to be consuming matter at over 40 times its theoretical limit
Supermassive black holes exist at the center of most galaxies, and modern telescopes continue to observe them at surprisingly early times in the universe's evolution.
It's difficult to understand how these black holes were able to grow so big so rapidly. But with the discovery of a low-mass supermassive black hole feasting on material at an extreme rate, seen just 1.5 billion years after the Big Bang, astronomers now have valuable new insights into the mechanisms of rapidly growing black holes in the early universe.
LID-568 was discovered by a cross-institutional team of astronomers led by International Gemini Observatory/NSF NOIRLab astronomer Hyewon Suh. They used the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) to observe a sample of galaxies from the Chandra X-ray Observatory's COSMOS legacy survey.
This population of galaxies is very bright in the X-ray part of the spectrum, but are invisible in the optical and near-infrared. JWST's unique infrared sensitivity allows it to detect these faint counterpart emissions.
LID-568 stood out within the sample for its intense X-ray emission, but its exact position could not be determined from the X-ray observations alone, raising concerns about properly centering the target in JWST's field of view.
So, rather than using traditional slit spectroscopy, JWST's instrumentation support scientists suggested that Suh's team use the integral field spectrograph on JWST's NIRSpec. This instrument can get a spectrum for each pixel in the instrument's field of view rather than being limited to a narrow slice.
"Owing to its faint nature, the detection of LID-568 would be impossible without JWST. Using the integral field spectrograph was innovative and necessary for getting our observation," says Emanuele Farina, International Gemini Observatory/NSF NOIRLab astronomer and co-author of the paper, "A super-Eddington-accreting black hole ~1.5 Gyr after the Big Bang observed with JWST," appearing in Nature Astronomy.
JWST's NIRSpec allowed the team to get a full view of their target and its surrounding region, leading to the unexpected discovery of powerful outflows of gas around the central black hole. The speed and size of these outflows led the team to infer that a substantial fraction of the mass growth of LID-568 may have occurred in a single episode of rapid accretion.
"This serendipitous result added a new dimension to our understanding of the system and opened up exciting avenues for investigation," says Suh.
In a stunning discovery, Suh and her team found that LID-568 appears to be feeding on matter at a rate 40 times its Eddington limit. This limit relates to the maximum luminosity that a black hole can achieve, as well as how fast it can absorb matter, such that its inward gravitational force and outward pressure generated from the heat of the compressed, infalling matter remain in balance.
When LID-568's luminosity was calculated to be so much higher than theoretically possible, the team knew they had something remarkable in their data.
"This black hole is having a feast," says International Gemini Observatory/NSF NOIRLab astronomer and co-author Julia Scharwächter.
"This extreme case shows that a fast-feeding mechanism above the Eddington limit is one of the possible explanations for why we see these very heavy black holes so early in the universe."
These results provide new insights into the formation of supermassive black holes from smaller black hole "seeds," which current theories suggest arise either from the death of the universe's first stars (light seeds) or the direct collapse of gas clouds (heavy seeds). Until now, these theories lacked observational confirmation.
"The discovery of a super-Eddington accreting black hole suggests that a significant portion of mass growth can occur during a single episode of rapid feeding, regardless of whether the black hole originated from a light or heavy seed," says Suh.
The discovery of LID-568 also shows that it's possible for a black hole to exceed its Eddington limit, and provides the first opportunity for astronomers to study how this happens.
It's possible that the powerful outflows observed in LID-568 may be acting as a release valve for the excess energy generated by the extreme accretion, preventing the system from becoming too unstable. To further investigate the mechanisms at play, the team is planning follow-up observations with JWST.

How the Lighting Spectrum Affects Plant Growth
Tumblr media
Lighting plays a crucial role in plant growth and development. Understanding the impact of different light spectrums on plants can help you create optimal growing conditions, whether you're a home gardener or a commercial grower. But how exactly does the lighting spectrum affect plant growth? And why are full spectrum LED grow lights gaining popularity among growers? Let’s dive into the fascinating world of plant lighting and discover how different spectrums influence plant growth.
Introduction to Light and Plant Growth
Plants are like tiny solar panels. They capture light energy and use it to fuel photosynthesis, the process by which they create food. Different colors of light can affect how plants grow, influencing everything from leaf size to the timing of flowering. Just as a chef might use different spices to bring out flavors in a dish, different light spectrums can enhance or hinder plant growth in various ways.
What is the Light Spectrum?
The light spectrum refers to the range of electromagnetic wavelengths emitted by the sun. It is divided into different colors, each with a unique wavelength and energy level. These colors range from violet, with the shortest wavelength, to red, with the longest. The full spectrum includes all visible light and some invisible parts like ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR).
The Role of Different Light Colors
Different colors in the light spectrum affect plants in specific ways. While most of us are familiar with the basic colors of the rainbow, each color carries its unique energy and can influence plants differently.
Blue Light and Its Effects on Plants
Blue light is crucial during the vegetative growth phase. It encourages the development of strong, healthy leaves and stems. When you think of blue light, imagine it as the morning sun, waking up plants and encouraging them to reach for the sky. Blue light helps plants produce chlorophyll, which is vital for photosynthesis.
Red Light: A Key Player in Flowering
Red light is essential for flowering and fruiting. It promotes flowering and is crucial in the later stages of plant development. Red light can be compared to a sunset, signaling plants that it's time to shift focus from growth to reproduction. This light spectrum helps to trigger flowering in plants and is often used to manipulate flowering times and improve crop yields.
Green Light: More Than Just Filler
While green light is often overlooked, it penetrates deeper into the leaf than red or blue light, supporting photosynthesis in lower leaf levels. Green light may not be as efficient as blue or red in photosynthesis, but it plays a role in plant morphology and affects how plants sense and adapt to their environment.
UV and Infrared Light
UV light can be harmful in high doses, but small amounts can stimulate plant defense mechanisms, making them more resistant to pests and diseases. Infrared light helps regulate plant temperature and influences seed germination and flowering. Both these lights, although not visible, are crucial for specific plant processes and growth responses.
What Are Full Spectrum LED Grow Lights?
Full spectrum LED grow lights are designed to mimic natural sunlight. They cover the entire light spectrum, providing the essential wavelengths plants need for photosynthesis and growth. These lights are versatile and can be used for all stages of plant growth, making them popular among growers looking for an all-in-one solution.
Benefits of Full Spectrum LED Grow Lights
Full spectrum LED grow lights offer several benefits:
Energy Efficiency: They consume less energy compared to traditional lighting options, reducing electricity costs.
Customizable Spectrums: Many full spectrum LEDs allow you to adjust the light spectrum to suit different growth stages.
Longevity: LEDs last longer than traditional bulbs, making them a cost-effective option in the long run.
Reduced Heat Output: They emit less heat, reducing the risk of heat stress on plants and allowing them to be placed closer to plants.
Comparing Full Spectrum LEDs to Other Lights
When compared to other lighting options like fluorescent or HID lights, full spectrum LEDs stand out for their efficiency and flexibility. While traditional lights can be limited to specific spectrums, full spectrum LEDs provide a more comprehensive range, allowing for better control over plant growth and development.
Tips for Using Full Spectrum LED Grow Lights
To get the most out of your full spectrum LED grow lights, consider these tips:
Adjust Height: Position lights at the right height above plants to avoid burning them while ensuring adequate light exposure.
Monitor Light Cycles: Use timers to regulate light cycles and mimic natural day/night rhythms.
Combine with Other Techniques: Use alongside other growth techniques like proper watering and soil management for optimal results.
How to Choose the Right Grow Light for Your Plants
Selecting the right grow light depends on several factors:
Type of Plants: Different plants have varying light requirements. Consider the specific needs of the plants you are growing.
Growth Stage: Seedlings and mature plants may require different light spectrums.
Space and Budget: Consider the size of your growing area and budget when choosing a grow light.
The Future of Plant Lighting
The future of plant lighting is bright with advancements in LED technology. We can expect even more efficient and customizable lighting solutions that cater to specific plant needs. Innovations like smart lighting systems that adjust automatically based on plant requirements could revolutionize indoor gardening and agriculture.
Conclusion
Understanding the impact of the lighting spectrum on plant growth is key to successful gardening and farming. By harnessing the power of full spectrum LED grow lights, you can optimize your plants' environment and encourage healthy, robust growth. Whether you're growing vegetables, flowers, or herbs, the right lighting can make all the difference.

27. Share a piece of lore you made up for the Outshine the Sun early years wip and/or Consort roleplay wip?
I think the only lore that really goes with the concubine roleplay wip is general snecrontyr stuff that I've already covered elsewhere. That story is really just an excuse for Zahndrekh to dress Obyron up in sexy lingerie and make him beg to get fucked while Zahndrekh fingers him with his gloves on. At least, thats the plan, but we'll see how out of hand that one gets once I start working on it more.
For OtS- I've made up a fair amount about the Solstice religious order! It's a powerful institution with a lot of political power within the empire, although the Temple tends to be at odds with the Imperial Court on a lot of issues. Children born on the solstices don't get taken; parents can choose to dedicate their children or not, as they please. Officially dedicating a child to the temple does entitle parents to certain privileges and tithes in exchange, though, plus it means your kid gets an education and a pretty decent life. It's more like sending your kid off to be apprenticed; most children do keep in touch with their families, and they have the option to leave once they reach the age of majority.
There are, of course, children who are abandoned as newborns; Solstice orphans aren't uncommon, so there are children of all ages living in the temple cloisters.
The following is full of spoilers for the basic premise of OtS. I think it's pretty, though.
He laughed. “Absolutely not. The Elders said I had no potential, anyway. You'd have no use for me.”
-----
She touched his shoulder. “You have no desire to be a Solstice Priest now, do you?”
“You were a child; there was no way to truly know what potential you might grow into.” She stood, and now she was no longer Sister Anais, who had been so kind to the children in the cloister; she was Solena incarnate, with the light of the sun shining from her eyes. “You have the right to that particular truth. Come.”
He took her hand, and she led him to the center of the courtyard. The midmorning sun was harsh above them. “We are the children of the sun. But after the longest day, the light begins to die. Never forget what our birth signifies.”
She raised one arm, fingers outstretched towards the sky, and time stopped. The sun wheeled backwards in the sky, casting the courtyard in darkness; the moon rose, set, rose again, and the unforgiving light of the solstice flooded the courtyard.
And between the outstretched fingers of her hand, he saw the cosmos: the orbits of the moons and the planet's axial tilt, leaning towards the sun at the height of the solstice; the stately revolution of the planet around the sun, and the entire cohort of the solar system, with its concentric circles of planetary orbits and asteroid rings.
And beyond: stars, of which their sun was but one of a multitude, each spinning around the black hole at the center of the galaxy, and the galaxy itself moving in its slow and ponderous way outwards from the center of the universe, where all things began, and ended, and began again.
She closed her hand into a fist, and time resumed. Her eyes were the blackness of an eclipse, outlined in a corona of solar fire. The sun set; the moon rose, and set, and rose again; the sun rolled back into position where it belonged.
He reached for her, feeling the force of gravity and its counterforce, the dizzying centripetal motion of the universe. He held the sun in his hands, and through it he could see- the pane of glass in his mind was not a barrier at all. It was a prism, refracting the light.
Resh'an blinked. A globe of white hot fire spun in the palm of his hand like a tiny star. He flexed his fingers, and it dissipated with a curl of smoke. It made sense now. He called the fire back, feeling the way the prism in his mind brought forth the spectrum of light and magic; the movement of the universe in space and time, repeated over and over again across the Sea of Stars.
The globe of fire sputtered out, suddenly, and he staggered. Solena caught him as he fell, and her touch flooded him with sunlight- not the white hot starfire, but the gentle warmth of a sunrise. “Have a care not to burn too brightly- this is why we need Luana, for balance, to keep ourselves from burning out.”
“I was never going to have that.” He thought of Aephorul, and the sister he never knew; he was sure he would have loved her, too. The thought was nearly enough to stagger him again, with the weight of that loss finally realized. "You knew from the start- it was why you sent me away."
-----
(The premise: Resh'an is a Solstice orphan, who was taken from the temple before he finished his training. Aephorul has a dead twin sister, and never developed anything more than a rudimentary grasp of Lunar magic. Immortality ultimately corrupts their souls to the point where their own innate Solstice magic becomes poisonous.)
(Aephorul's sister has actually already made an appearance in the fic I've posted! She gets another cameo in Save Scumming, too.)

Red Light (630-700 nm): Promotes collagen production and accelerates healing.
Blue Light (405-420 nm): Kills acne-causing bacteria.
Green Light (515-525 nm): Reduces pigmentation and evens skin tone.
Yellow Light (570-590 nm): Improves circulation and reduces redness.
Purple, Orange, and White Lights: Offer additional benefits like healing and revitalization.
