Good Boy Audios Incorrect Quotes (Part 3)
Albus: I'd like to offer my moral support, but I have questionable morals.
•••
Paradise: I didn't understand why people care so much about their dumb friends until I got a dumb friend myself
Paradise: I've only had Kalamos for a day and a half but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this room and then myself
•••
Odin: *tapping lightly on table*
Ulysses: *tapping back*
Tyr: What are they doing?
Pandora: Morse Code
Odin: *slams his hands on the table* You take that back!
•••
Faithful: On a scale of one to ten, how lonely are you?
Albus: It stops at ten?
•••
Yargwynn: Here's a list of suspects I've put together so far
Paradise: Yargwynn, your name is on this list
Yargwynn: I don't remember where I was last Friday night, Paradise. Therefore, I have no alibi. I've been tailing myself for the last three days
•••
Faithful: Are you alright? You didn't sleep at all last night
Albus: I got a solid eight minutes
Albus: Not consecutively, but it's fine. You're not even that blurry
•••
Makkaro: How's the most beautiful person in the world doing?
Darling, not looking up from cooking: I don't know, how *are* you doing?
Makkaro, trying not to cry: I'm fine
•••
Yargwynn: Sometimes I think I have too much self-esteem
Yargwynn: Then I remember that I'm just really f*&^ing pretty
•••
Devlin, knocking on Albus' door: Are you decent?
Albus: Not morally, but I’m wearing pants if that’s what you’re asking
•••
Makkaro: Swear words are illegal now. If you say one you'll be fined
Frank: Heck
Makkaro: You're on thin f*&^ing ice
Makkaro: Oh no
•••
Yargwynn: Bureaucracy is confusing.
Mortallous: That's why we prefer arson: it's simple.
•••
Albus: Sandy always told me to pick my battles
Albus: Well I'm full of rage and picking all of them!
•••
Paradise: You're up early, Yargwynn
Yargwynn:
Paradise: You never went to sleep, did you?
•••
Odin @ Okami: I'm going to defeat you with the power of friendship and this gun I found
•••
Faithful: Okay, look. *I* don’t want Albus to die and YOU don’t want Albus to die. So now all we have to do is make sure ALBUS doesn’t want Albus to die
Devlin: No offense, sister, but have you MET Albus?
•••
Yargwynn: Why is pretty boy considered an insult?
Yargwynn: Like, call me a pretty boy
Yargwynn: Call me a pretty boy right now
Yargwynn: I want to be the prettiest boy you've ever seen
•••
Mirren: Go ahead, ask the captain something no one should have an opinion on
Zed: What's the worst multiple of 4?
The Guardian, scowling: Twelve, obviously
•••
Albus: I wasn't injured. I was lightly stabbed
Faithful: You were stabbed?!?!?!
Albus: Lightly stabbed. I didn't want to worry you
•••
Yargwynn: I want to be mysterious so bad but I just cannot shut the f*&^ up
•••
Odin: Rules are made to be broken!
Tyr: Nothing is made to be broken, Odin.
Ulysses: Glowsticks
Pandora: Piñatas
Okami: Karate boards
Fenrir: Spaghetti when you have a really small pot
Odin: Rules!
Tyr: -_-
•••
Albus: Can I ask a dumb question?
Devlin: Better than anybody I know
•••
Yargwynn: It's muggy outside today
Paradise: If I go out there and all our mugs are in the front yard, I'm leaving you
Yargwynn: *sips drink from a bowl*
•••
Odin, about Ulysses: Can I shoot him?
Pandora, Tired™: Not in public
•••
Albus: What if I put coffee in my cereal instead of milk?
Devlin, taking the pot while he walks by: What if you don't
•••
Hades: Truth or dare
Pandora: Truth?
Hades: How many hours have you slept this week?
Pandora: Dare
Hades: Go to bed
Pandora: I've decided I don't like this game

What you favourite gba character says about you! (Based on the Eldena doubleca5t series on YouTube)
(This is a joke please do not take any of this personally)
Loyal: your probably either a black butler fan or an angle beats fan
Servos: you had a crush on Marshalllee from adventure time
Yargwin: at some point in your life you've probably been obsessed with either Jack sparrow or Captin hook from Once upon a time. That being said you do have good taste
Kalomos: you just wanted good things for kalomos and really....who wouldn't?
Lry: you need everyone in this series to just chill the f*k out for like 5 minutes
Vail: your favourite trope is a character being blissfully unaware of how powerful they are
Raspa: you are a firm believer in the inherent eroticism of a mad scientist
Mortals: you have some....complicated feelings about episode 3 of space pirates
Vision: your childhood crush was garnett from steven universe
Heartburn: you still don't know the answer to the mystery of 1. Why did yargwin tell him that "him and Arkov aren't married" and 2. Why heartburn is even here but the difference is that your not mad about the second one
Kaunda: your either a lesbian or a liar
Banar: you really like full metal alchemist
The butterfly king: your OTP is fizz x Ozzmodius from hellova boss
Albus: you are a firm believer in the inherent eroticism of "I can fix him" but you will inevitably realise that you can't and then promptly exept him as he is
Devlin: your probably autistic and the quickest way to your heart is somebody showing even the slitest amount of intrest In YOUR special interest
Odin: you really like God of war
Odysseus: you understand the significance of Odin calling him that...also you probably really like "epic the musical"
Tyr: you really like lore olympus
Fenrir: you are a furry that or your just a redacted fan
Okami: you were the f*kers who kept spaming "okami did nothing wrong" in that one live stream
Makkaro: you are a firm believer in the inherent eroticism of "a hero will sacrifice you to save the world but a villan will sacrifice the world to save you"
Zed: I want to use the joke used by the person this post was inspired by and say that you like "men👏 getting 👏pegged!" But honestly if your favourite character is zed you probably just really like the owl house
Mirrin: when zed asked the guardian if they used to be lovers you got your hopes up way to quickly
Frank: you had a crush on Billy butcherson from hocus pocus
Hipswich: you believe in the inherent eroticism of the song "good lookin"
Mahatma/atila: this is just the same joke as raspa but like even more so
Huginn: your favourite ship dynamic is "neurodivergent character rambling" x "could listen to them talk forever"
Muninn: your favourite asmr trope is reverse comfort

Weeeeeell that is interesting
So I just got a bonus at work and I learned I will be getting another bonus soon
Almost all of that I need to put into bills but
I was thinking if I sell my Odin 1 to someone (like someone who wants to get into games but doesn't have the technical knowhow to set up a device like this)
I could get the Odin 2
But idk, how much would someone pay for an Odin???
Tumblr media
Plays:
SNES, GBA, PSX, all retro stuff at huge upscale obviously
Plays every DS and PSP and Dreamcast game at 2x upscale at least
Plays 3DS like a dream at 2x or 3x depending (this has been my primary use)
Can play GameCube and Playstation 2 at original resolution and sometimes higher depending on the game
Oh and is a beast for ge streaming with Game Pass or Parsec. I played the entirety of Personas 3, 4, and 5 on this baby.
One of the buttons on the back feels odd but works fine.
Original price is like 200$ plus shipping but mine has upgraded face buttons and a 256gb SD card and a screen protector.
Idk someone tell me what you think is a Reasonable price for it? Fully tricked out and ready, is like 125$ reasonable?
Opinions pls????
Note this is not me asking for offers just advice
Oh and obviously is someone wanted a Specific Game, I would make sure it's on there

just watched the twin ravens(gba)
I would die for those two, and commit atrocities for them.
also it makes me wish I knew more about mythology, like I know more than the average but not enough to say I’m a nerd in it.
like I did some digging to see if I can find anything. I know valliah(?) is Norse mythology, and the twin ravens are able to transverse the hold world in a day and bring Odin the information they found.
But with the mixture of Greek and Norse (maybe more??) i do not have the brain power to make logical conclusions
another thing completely unrelated and probably not done on purpose but they kinda remind me of this old 2004 kids show raven tales and it’s based around First Nations stories. No clue why I barely even remember it.

Sorry for the 🤓☝️ moment but there are more than three named wyvern across the series!
Here are the lists of named mounts(it's complete, as far as I can tell) if you're interested:
(for pegasi: https://fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Pegasus#Notable_pegasus_mounts)
(for wyverns: https://fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Wyvern#Notable_wyvern_mounts)
(for horses: https://fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Horse#Notable_horses)
Ahaha, it's all right. Maybe I forgot to specify earlier, but there's only been three named wyverns post GBA Era, and one pegasus since as well. I know there were quite a few in the SNES(Super Famicon)/GBA games. Thanks for those links, though, I don't believe I've seen them in that order before!
I'm glad to see the horses have been treated better post GBA, which three named Horses in the DS/Switch era!
But the fact that they had plenty of names before is why I'm particularly salty about the fact that there are no named mounts in Tellius. Elincia's pegasus that she inherits from her great grandmother doesn't even get a name.
And there were plenty of opportunities too! Kieran could have just said in his supports with Marcia "Some knights treat their horses like transport, but not me! (Name) here is my brother-in-arms!" If Bastian was alive when Elincia gets the pegasus, he could have interjected with a name. Jill, who has a talent for caring for wyverns, could have told Ike when she was explaining why she had to stay on the ship "I can't push (name) that far, we'd never cross the ocean" or encouraged her wyvern to go just a little father when she appears on the ship map.
And I know the mount bond isn't pushed as hard in the re-classing games that come later, but Sophia names her horse. Cherche, Percy, and Rosado name their wyverns. Hortensia's pegasus gets an implied name through her class description.
Am I really expected to believe Cynthia doesn't have some over the top heroic name (possibly after the legendary queen Caeda) for her pegasus? Odin doesn't insist upon a name for Camilla's wyvern, just her armor? Marianne doesn't try to redirect Claude to discuss his wyvern? Claude doesn't offer her a quick throwaway about his wyvern to try and put her at ease before pressing her about her secret? Ivy doesn't have to reluctantly reveal, with great embarassment, that she named her wyvern after Alear to anyone?

top 5 ffs?
Oh, hello.
Just as a warning, I have yet to go through the post 5 FF games to a significant degree, so I'll be including some spinoffs:
5: Final Fantasy Explorers
I haven't played... well, any Monster Hunter-type games, so FFE was my first taste of it, and you know what? I enjoyed it. I played it on single-player, so it was essentially "Beastmaster: The Game" and the bosses were still fun enough. Also it probably has one of my top 5 favorite Big Bridge remixes and some of the music (particularly the general boss theme and Odin's theme) are highlights for me.
4: Final Fantasy Tactics
It clears the 'higher-than-you'd-expect' hurdle of me being able to actually play a decent amount of a strategy game and is generally fun to boot. I got up to Chapter 3 before the random encounters started kicking my ass enough to discourage me from continuing (though the fights towards the end of chapter 2 really tested my patience), though said encounters didn't help by me playing the PSP version with its magic/animation slowdown. By all accounts, I should probably go for the GBA/DS games since those lack permadeath (albeit with a very different tone plotwise), but I still intend to try out the PS1 version of the first game and hopefully not grind myself into a corner.
3: Final Fantasy 2
Yes, this. FF2's 'quirky' and 'complicated', but I dig the story, the gameplay once your characters actually get built up and just general setting. It's also to read the supplementry material and other notes on what could have been: It really shows that the devs were putting some thought into the story and its a shame how some elements didn't translate properly. It's the type of game where it gets better the more you know of how it works. That said the dungeon design alone holds this back fiercely, especially in the PSP's Arcane Labyrinth (Darkness floor, my beloathed). Speaking of which, the bonus content for this game is probably some of the better such content of these re-releases.
2: Final Fantasy 3
Wow, what a surprise.
FF3 is basically the video game equivalent of "it could be that deep" in my eyes. Because you don't have any of those fancy "Materias", "GFs", Magicites" or even abilities to carry over like in FFV and FFT, you need to team build your way through whatever the game throws at you. Again, FF3 is one of those games that gets better when you have more an idea of what to expect: Getting thrown into a mini-dungeon early on is annoying, but its less so when you have mages prepared ahead of time to either magic their way through or play "pass the Fire Rod that the devs conveniently added". The world isn't fully developed, but the nuggets you can find are interesting, especially the whole duality concept and the existence of the World of Darkness.
But this is also the same guy who has spent however many years obsessing over this game, so you know. Feel free to add some salt to this opinion.
As for why this isn't higher, it's because my image of this game has been ruined by my obsession, and there I feel there is no "definitive" version. All three versions are playable (yes, even the remake) and enjoyable (yes, even the remake), but all have enough pros and cons that I can't fully say one is better than the others. It's the kind of game that feels like it has yet to reach its full potential and I unfortunately don't think there are many people, at least in the west, who would care even if it did. 3's always been the overshadowed game. After all, FF5 is right there. And, oh hey, speaking of...
1: Final Fantasy 5:
Not quite a basic answer, but still a not-uncommon one, I feel. I was very late to the FF5 party, only playing it when the PR came out and not even experiencing it through osmosis like I did with FF6, and while my obsession with 3 means that it will never overcome that bias, I can easily see why people consider it to be the gameplay peak of the Nintendo-era, if not 6. It builds on what 1 and 3 started and the job combos can be fun to play with. That said, I'll admit that part of my ranking it so high is a particularly impressive mod known as "Custom Classes", which allows you to swap out basically all of the commands, meaning that you can carry over more than one skill between jobs. I haven't finished a full playthrough of CC yet, but between that and the reasons I gave for FF3, I'll be willing to give the edge to 5 over it.
Also, 5 gave us Gilgamesh and ExDeath (and indirectly eScape, and therefore The Twinning).
Honorable Mentions:
Dissidia (012): I don't know how to feel about this game. Settingwise: I love the ways it expands the FF1 mythos, but I hate how WoL is a manikin and what that implies for the rest of the FF1 party. It gave me my favorite portrayal of Garland, but it also gave me Onion Knight, whom I resent for sidelining Luneth's party in later crossovers. Even gameplaywise, I like the general gameplay, at least on paper, but I think I get far frustrated with it more than I would with a normal fighting game. Yet, I keep playing or get the urge to keep playing. Maybe it deserves to be on the list? Maybe it doesn't?
Final Fantasy VIII: I haven't gotten far in FFVIII (I finished the Dollet mission) but what I've played so far feels promising as far as my first PS1-era FF goes (some perfectionism on my part aside). Junctioning is an 'interesting' mechanic, but I think I like it. I need to get the hang of Triple Triad, but I can understand how people get hooked on it.
Final Fantasy Dimensions: Albeit with the mother of all asterisks: This is here mostly for the 'idea' than the execution right now. Like the other FFT games, I do have it ready for play, I just haven't gotten around to it, because when I play games on my phone, it's usually the gatchas that I'm stockholm syndrome'd to playing right now and it's rare for me to not be playing at least 2 at a time. At some point I do want to get around to actually playing it, but until it gets like a steam release or something, it'll be one of those "get to it eventually" type games.
Final Fantasy: Admittedly, it has been ages since I played through FF1 (relatively speaking) compared to every other game on this list aside from FFE, so I don't know how much mention it merits. But I'll put it here anyway.

Hello! I wanted to do a art challenge so I decided that I would come up with one... So I thought what if I mixed different GBA characters to make one character. And in order to get the characters I spun a wheel that had most of the GBA characters and this is what I got!
Looks: okami and odin
Color palette: Tyr, Hipswitch, Merrian
Personality: odin, merrian, and zed
Age: Kalamos (18)
Style: Albus
Height: makkaro (5'9)
Species: Kravatas (Demon)
Alrighty! Now here is what they all look like together!!

This was fun!
I hope you guys have a good day/night/afternoon❤❤❤

what other games have you played outside the persona series? I’m asking bc I’m curious to see whether you’ll let this blog go after p5r is done or you’ll just move to another franchise. I know this is wayyyy far ahead in the future but I was thinking about it
I have been playing games for longer than many of you have been alive, I would wager. My wheelhouse is everything from Borderlands to Hatoful Boyfriend. I am a Kojima Stan and consider Metal Gear a bedrock of my media literacy.
Basically, if it's homoerotic and pretentious, I may have played it. But I have approximate knowledge of all games.
Here's my top games on Backloggd.
Tumblr media
Ah, if it helps: I primarily work off my gaming rig and my AYN Odin. So I can play almost all PC games, and emulate most consoles, including: SNES, GBA, DS, PSP, PSX, Dreamcast, and most PS2. I also have a hacked 3DS and hacked Vita.
I've been slowly amassing a collection over the years because game preservation shit freaks me tf out. Remember kids, it's always morally correct to pirate Nintendo games!

Albus: People say I have a unique way of lighting up a room!

Frank: Have you ever said that and actually meant it?
Makkaro: No

Yargwynn: There are no bad ideas, only good ideas that go horribly wrong.
•••
Devlin: Let me see what I can do. Can you stay out of trouble for five minutes?
Albus: Let's find out!
•••
Yargwynn: I'm going on this mission alone. I ask that you rescue me or avenge me, as appropriate

•••
Albus: Apparently, ending every conversation with my brother with, "Yes, my liege," and a deep bow followed by respectful backwards shuffling while avoiding eye contact is considered sarcastic
•••
Yargwynn: Marry someone you want to annoy for the rest of your life!
Paradise: -_-
•••
Albus: I asked Faithful to share her queen-sized blanket, to which she replied that she was a queen and therefore the blanket was already at max capacity

•••
Makkaro: I assume you realize I won't tolerate this kind of idiocy

•••
Lyr: We need to have a talk about your professionalism.
Yargwynn, standing on a table: Those are some mighty brave words coming from a guy standing in lava.

Pandora: What?
Odin: What?
•••
Kalamos: We need to get help from adults!
Paradise: We are—
Kalamos: Real adults!

LIL EARTH MAKES FLOWERS GROW IN TYR'S HAIR IM sooooftttt but also imagine the humor in they can't always control the growth it's linked to positive emotions and love and they love their dad so much and one night he's tucking them in a bed that's far bigger than them, ensuring the blankets keep them nice and snug, fluffing pillows just to be a lil extra and he gives em a kiss on the top of their head for goodnight, and starts to leave... Until their giggling catches his attention, so he turns around to ask what's got them so giddy and they just smile and shake their head. "Nothing, flower king" and Tyr is very confused but plays along until he sees his reflection in their window and his hair is practically hidden behind an overgrowth of fawna, vines wrapped around shoulders with buds peaking out and it's just... A lot
I do hope you don't mind me rambling about this guy so much I'm just emotional about this lol
Of course I don't mind, I love Tyr!!!
We need for fan content for GBA and I wanna try and provide at least a little and if your ideas inspire more people other than me, more power to them!
But I'm sure seeing it makes him laugh too, and he just can't stop smiling. Just playfully putting his hands on his hips and scolding, "Did I give you permission to grow a garden atop my head?"
Of course, it's all in fun and he doesn't want to take them out but it is a lot... So he moves them into a little patch of green in their backyard to turn it into a garden!!! Has a more reasonable amount braided into his hair, also selects a couple for things like flower pressing, drying, even saving them to turn into tea!!!
So many more fun things to do with his little one.
OH, and of course, share the flowers with their friends too!!
Ulysses, Fenrir, and Odin being covered in flower accessories make me smile.

Is the odin one screen? How does it translate 3ds games like smtiv to a single screen?
It is one screen but I have played more DS games on this than the actual 3DS I have. I think because my 3DS, even after I literally opened it up and changed the battery to a fresh one, it STILL fucking only works for a few hours and if I close the lid, I still run out of power within the day. I can't deal with that shit.
(By comparison, I put my Vita into sleep mode, like just tapping the power button, for five months once and when I woke it up, it has like 48% battery. The Vita is amazing.)
So with DS and 3DS games, the thing is that outside a few games that REALLY utilize both screens at the same time, you don't need to be focused on both.
Here, this is what my SMT4 screenshot looked like before I cropped it.
Tumblr media
So 80% of my screen (and its a BIG beautiful screen) is the top display and on the right is the bottom. I can actually set this up so the top screen is FULL screen if I want an even bigger image.
Now, one of the things I literally adore about the Odin is the bonus buttons on the back.
Tumblr media
oh christ i need to wipe this down with a microfiber cloth, ignore all the lil dust specks, i've been playing gaymes
BUT my point is, there are two bonus buttons on the back of the device that you can keybind to anything.
When I'm playing normal form factor games like PSP or GBA or Dreamcast, I usually make one my screenshot button and one my save state button.
For DS/3DS, I bind one of these to be my Swap Screen button. So when I press it, the emulator swaps the screen that is taking up the majority of the display so I can focus there instead.
But genuinely? I would wager over half of DS/3DS games use the bottom screen as a pause menu/map/equipment screen/whatever, so you can ignore it until you need it.
So what I get from the Odin is playing DS games at, like, x4 or x5 resolution, and 3DS games at either original resolution on a MUCH more high quality screen, or x2 resolution if I'm lucky.
And a battery that actually lasts when I fucking put it to sleep, Nintendo. What is UP with your batteries?

Since I’m at Crystal Tower, or rather Syrcus Tower, I’ll continue on the analysis with guest party members, with the recent reveals first:
*Doga and Unei have to ritualistically die to energize their respective keys. Doga’s Key unlocks Eureka, Unei’s Key unlocks later floors of Crystal Tower.
*Each party member supposedly represent a different “light”:
**Luneth is Light of courage
**Arc is Light of kindness
**Refia is Light of affection (very girly)
**Ingus is Light of determination (insert Undertale/Deltarune memes here)
I’m not sure if this is a thing in the original game, but this may be inspired by FF5′s characterization of each crystal’s affinity, which I discussed in the FF5 GBA commentary (tagged ty plays ff5 gba)
*Crystal Tower is not actually made of crystals, but rather solid light. It too is created by crystals power. I suppose this building exists because of the “Tyranny of light” era.
*The true Earth Fiend of the game is Titan, everybody’s favourite Summon, except he is a recolor of the previous boss Hecantoncheir (who will later become an Eidolon in FF13 ironically). Before Titan, I have encountered both Summon bosses (Bahamut and Leviathan, since I did Odin much before), and Shinobi in Falgabard.
*Ancients’ Maze has the Unei’s Clone enemy and Crystal Tower has Doga’s Clone. Obviously these are reused sprites (or models in this version), but it makes you wonder if these are Xande’s creations, or clones created by Ancient technology which seen running amok in Ancients’ Maze.
Their true forms’ design seems to inspired Amano’s later designs io Edge’s parents in FF4.
Either way, all the previous bosses except maybe Leviathan and Odin are shown to have recolors by this time (Dragon enemy from Temple of Time is a recolor of Bahamut). Encountering Aeon (Gutsco’s recolor) took me some time.
*Falgabard’s Dark Knights and Shinobi boss reference Ninjas which exist in this game in the late game, but were the original Dark Magic users back in FF1. It is a clever reference, though FF lore about Dark Knights is different from medieval stories about Black Knights (some of which, you know, were actually Black, as in African). But I like the “dark is not evil, negative emotions can be used for good” angle they are going for.

So the guests:
*Princess Sara isn’t particularly useful, but she is a good introduction to the game. She only appears in one dungeon, The Sealed Cave, and most of her optional dialogue is about quicksaves, but she is fine enough. She apparently has more story in the Mognet sidequests, but I haven’t done them yet.
*Cid is surprisingly very useful, being the sole physical only support you get. He was very good at early game grinding, but his sole dungeon, Mythril Mines, is technically optional, so you might never use him in battle.
Much like Sara I didn’t do his Mognet quest yet, so we’ll see how things go about with him, but he obviously has more screentime as a NPC than as a guest party member.
*Desch is the most characterized guest member, and he is the one that sticks around the most. Most of his optional dialogue is about Mini and Toad mechanics, except with Salina, but he gets lots of screentime so it is not a big deal.
Apparently his death is a fakeout like FF4 party members (well, most of them, RIP Tellah), but I’m not at the end of the game yet.
*Aria Benett has powerful support magic, but she, like Sara’s Cures, rarely uses them. Since she dies pretty soon after her introduction, we can’t say much about her. She apparently has a more prominent role in Brave Exvius for some reason, I guess to rile up the waifu crowd.
*Prince Alus (Restor) is technically supposed to be party member of the Dragon Spire, but I defeated Garuda without going there with him so I didn’t see his in-game prowess. Apparently he casts Confuse and Aero.
He has more role in the Mognet quests apparently, but again, I haven’t done them yet, so...
*Doga is a decent party member, but he is more important because his optional dialogue reveals much lore of the game. His characterization is very good I think, and fits in nicely with Xande and Unei. You definitely feel they are a found family of sorts, much like your party members’ families.
*Unei is also decent, but since she is more talkative, she reveals much more about the world’s mechanics. Apparently dream world items work like antimatter against real objects, for example. Her parrot is supposed to be exposition before you wake her up, but I didn’t go to her Shrine before Noah’s Lute, so the parrot segment didn’t surprise me as much (not to mention you encounter her in the dream world with her parrot beforehand).
While Doga and Unei are both party members for a short dungeon (for Doga) and a rather long one (for Unei) they serve much more than exposition and guides, you truly feel they are perceived as mentors by the Warriors (Orphans?) of Light.
Among the cast, I would say Desch takes the cake, with Unei and Doga being distant second and thirds respectively, Sara being the middle, and Aria being the bottom, for obvious reasons.
I wonder if the intended guest party member for Castle Hein was here, would we get a guest party member for each major mandatory dungeon. Like, what would be the guest member for Goldor Manor? Or Cave of Shadows? Or the Gutsco mini arc?
Questions, speculations. Early FF games used to allow this sort of stuff, even in their remakes. Oh how mighty have fallen.
Next post will be on game mechanics as promised. But that’s for another day now.
Edit: Note: Apparently Alus and Cid are the only FF3 guest party members who don’t appear in Brave Exvius. Rest do.
