Request: Andrew Peter parker x male reader, rich reader spoiling peter cause he knows how hard he works and how tired he is at the end of it, maybe Peter liking the gifts and attention but he really just wants to be held by his boyfriend above all

Peter had a horrible day at work and he is happy to be home. You have been living with your boyfriend for a year now, you love it. Peter kissed you on the lips and you have your arms around him.

“What’s wrong?” You asked.

Peter works at the Daily Bugle as a photographer.

“My boss was being an ass today. He is making me hate my job every day” Peter said.

“Why not look for another job?” You asked.

“I have been looking but no luck” Peter sighed.

“You should let me help. Maybe do photography for another company? My dad knows a few people” You said.

“I can't ask you to do that, babe,” Peter said.

“Just think about it, okay?” You said.

You come back with a gift bag and you give it to him. He takes out the box from the gift bag and his eyes open wider, now he is speechless.

“I can't believe you got this camera for me, Y/n. But how!? This camera is super expensive. That is a dumb question I just asked, I know you got it…” Peter said.

Peter knows that you come from a rich family and your family owns half of the city. But you aren't like other rich guys who treat everyone like crap. You met Peter when he worked at the country club one summer as the towel boy. You and Peter became friends then he asked you out, and he makes you happy.

“I'm guessing you like it?” You asked.

“I like it, Y/n. But you didn't have to buy it for me” Peter said.

“I wanted to” You smiled.

You like to spoil him with gifts and take him to expensive restaurants. Peter never once asked you to buy him anything or ask for money. He does like the gifts you buy for him but he isn't used to it.

“Y/n, you don't have to buy me gifts all the time. I appreciate what you give me and you don't have to buy my love. You are the only guy I want to be with. Sometimes, I just want my boyfriend to hold me and tell me it will be okay” Peter said.

“I saw my dad buy gifts for my mom every time and expensive gifts. I thought everyone was like that” You said.

“I’m not after the gifts or your money, you know that Y/n. I really like being with you and you make me happy” Peter said.

“You make me happy too, Peter,” You said.

Peter his arms around you then he starts to kiss you.

You and Peter changed into pajamas, then you put on his favorite movie on TV. You lie down on the bed, then he lies his head on your chest, and tho wrap your arms around him.

“Comfortable?” You asked.

“Yes. You are so soft” Peter said and he snuggled on you.

You kiss his head and you start to play with his hair.

Peter got hurt saving people from Dr. Curtis as a lizard. His suit got ruined and has a scar on his chest and you are cleaning his wound. You know he is Spiderman because he saved you and then told you.

“The suit is badly ruined,” Peter said.

“We can fix it together,” You said.

“We could try,” Peter said.

Later, you help Peter fix his suit. Then you convinced him to upgrade his suit and maybe add technology to the suit. But for now, you stitch the holes in his suit while he stitches his mask.

Later, you and cuddle on the couch. You have your arm around him and Peter has his head on your chest.

12/16/21, GG posted about accidentally seeing spiderman spoilers. At this time, videos from the movie are heavily circulated in social media sites. Especially Douyin. we were all asking how he was spoiled, and I think we know now. This is an example of ( again ) LRLG’s “reliability” ( if you wanna call it that ) because they gave this information first before GG mentioned something. In that exchange, Web was just asking if ZZ wants spoilers. maybe he finally showed it on this day GG posted on Oasis.

So the CPN is, it’s Spiderman 3 they were talking about. Tho looking at the date for LRLG, the actual movie hasn’t premiered yet internationally ( 12/13 ) but even before that — there were already lots of plot leaks coming out since it was supposed to be released September. So maybe WYB was also clowning him about it but there shouldn’t be any reliable video yet. My guess for ZZ’s oasis post were the videos coming out from the Korea screening (12/15) which showed Tobey & Andrew were in the movie. The question of how he saw it ( scrolling douyin or maybe a friend’s wechat moments ) , and if Web fulfilled his promise of truly “spoiling” him really came true.

Eh WandaVision was good, great even when it was an American sitcom through the decades and a tragic character study of Wanda Maximoff and an exploration of grief and toxic escapism less so with the finale where they changed things because the audience figured it out and cut cool things like the bunny familiar’s demon form . You can feel that it’s a love letter to sitcoms and it has a good balance between the silly , the scary and the sad. But overall I feel it’s a good continuation of the MCU post Endgame .

Will not comment on anything else post Endgame because I haven’t seen anything else post Endgame(Also didn’t see Endgame because I was pissed off they didn’t tell us what happened to Ava/Ghost and Bill Foster. I was invested in them dammit.)

I didn't see most of them, seen winter soldier a bunch of times because I'd downloaded it and it was something to watch, didn't see endgame or any of the Spiderman solo ones I don't think. Maybe saw 1/3 of the mcu movies that ended with endgame.

Wandavision was a show not a attempt at a blockbuster movie so kind of its own thing, like the "spiderverse" movies with Miles Morales and Spider Ham, which I didn't see those or Wandavision either.

Just they built up the universe to lead up to Endgame, which closed off a ton storylines and yes they are comic book movies and that just makes it so it can be time to start a new story line up which is totally cool.

But they need to drop the old cast and start up with a new one if they want to do that.

At least that's how I feel about it.

The other live action Spiderman films they did were good from what I could see, they helped finish up the story so we know what Peter Parker is doing, in 3 timelines even, which that was great fanservice, Garfield got his third, good to see Toby back in the suit too, he was a incredible Spiderman imho.

Pushing forward from there, there's too much to keep track of, hell there was too much by infinity war.

The well is dried up now, they need to give it a few years and then revisit the whole thing again.

Gonna be rough to top the cast they had for all of those tho, they were all pretty much perfect for their roles, big shoes to fill.

Disney knows that in some cases, be why instead of attempting a remake of Mary Poppins they did what they did.

Gotta find someone better than Julie Andrews, good luck with that one.

I've Always Wanted Brothers

What if Peter-2 (Tobey Maguire) and Peter-3 (Andrew Garfield) were Peter-1 (Tom Holland) brothers? What if they were in Spiderman 1, 2, 3, TASM 1, 2, Homecoming, Far From Home, Captain America: Civil War, Infinity war and endgame.? I say YES. ‘What about No Way Home?’ You’re probably asking. Yeah about that I might have to have some time to think about that one cause so far all I got is either they forget all the Parker brothers, forget just one brother, have one of the brothers die instead of May but still make them forget one of the brothers but I don’t feel like adding any more trauma to my babies.

Did they all wear glasses before becoming spiderman? No. Just Tobey and Andrew except Andrew wore contacts. Why? Cause he’s amazing. Get it?

First of all for Flash they're all separate people that like to bully the Parkers tho Flash in TASM turned out to be nice guy and for MJ there cousins from their fathers side SM’s Mary-Jane Watson and Homecoming is Michelle Jones Watson, neither parents realized this until after Michelle was born (and this can happen because my cousin has the same god damn name as me, neither of our parents knew because they didn’t keep contact as closely as now)

Aunt May is the one from homecoming because why not and I know that May is younger than the rest and Ben that was shown in the other movies was older but use your imagination and find some actor to replace him because he’s gonna die anyways.

James Harold ‘Harry’ Osborn and Dane Harold ‘Harry Jr’ Osborn are brothers their dad didn’t bother giving them unique middle names and yes I used their actors first names. The Bugle will be the same from Raimiverse and I'm using TASM thing on their dad.

When Tobey was 6, Andrew was 4 and Peter was 3 the beginning scene of The Amazing Spiderman happened, and they were left at Aunt May and Uncle Ben’s house. Also do you remember the part in Ironman 2 when that one kid tried to stop one of the drones WELL since that was confirmed to be Peter he was 6 when this happens, and you can imagine the look and pure FEAR on his 12-year-old and 9-year-old brothers face's during that.

The timeline has been kinda changed around (thank god for Google, if you want know search up ‘what year does (movie name) take place’) and the age difference is this. Tobey is older then Andrew by 3 years and Andrew is older then Peter by also 3 years

2013: At seventeen Tobey (A.P 14. P.P 13) visited the Lab with his friend James Harold ‘Harry’ Osborn and the rest of his class they were shown the spiders and you know just basically everything that happened in the movie happens.

2015: Two years later Tobey moved back in with his family to help with bills and The Amazing Spiderman starts just like the movie but Ben is replaced with Tobey who recognizes the effects after Andrew is bitten but says nothing. He becomes spiderman as well making the same suit, so it doesn’t look like there’s more than one Spiderman, in the part where Ben got shot is actually none other then Tobey Parker and of course he survives and no one wonders where Spider-Man is cause Andrew is being Spider-Man.

2015: then the events of Spiderman 2 happen, Tobey goes to collage Aunt May convinces him that he should move out and learn to live by himself in the end he tells Andrew about his alter ego and already knew about Andrew and just didn't say anything until he thought he was ready, and they make an alliance for one of them to go during the school, afternoon, and switch nights. Peter turns 16.

2015-2016: Then Spiderman 3 happens, it stays the same since during bully Maguire parts he stop all contact with his family and either way at the same time on the other side of New York TASM 2 is happening. They end at the same time because from the distance after Harry dies they can see all the lights from Electro and being the big brother he has to leave tho he doesn’t want to leave MJ but she forces him to go, when he makes it there he finds his little brother hunched over the body of Gwen and Tobey helps Andrew deal with her death. Andrew tells him and Peter on what he found of about their dad, at the same time Peter decides to confront them about all their secrets and how he’s been keeping tabs about all of it. They tell him all about it and let’s say they had to bribe him and threaten him A LOT so he wouldn’t say anything to May on purpose or on "accident" but Peter understood, he just wanted the money. Andrew turned 18 in the middle of it all, probobly before or after the graduation scene.

2016: Before Captain America Civil War when Peter got his powers was when his class took a trip to the same lab as Tobey but more improved so the spider that had given Tobey his powers was no longer shown in the same room but in a sperate one where they would harm any students, Peter ended up doing the same thing that Andrew did and snuck into the room where the spiders were and low and behold one was out, bit the young Parker who became the next Spiderman and got a full on yell by both his brothers for willingly turning into Spider-Man. After a lot of convincing he told his brothers he could handle it and besides they both needed a break after the loss of their loved ones, and definitely Tobey cause he hasn’t taken a single break since he lost his powers in the second movie…

Then Civil War happened. Tony thought what everyone thought. That there was only one spiderman and when he found out that he (or at least one of them) was Peter Parker he knew what to say to the kid one what he gathered was that his brothers had moved out and he lived with Aunt, so it was quite a shocker when he found out that the two had moved back in with May to help pay bills. Another shocker was when they insisted on companying him to his room. Another not so much shocker was the fact they knew that he was spiderman. The very BIG shocker was when Tony had tried leaving only to be webbed to the wall they the other two and find out all THREE OF THEM were Spider-Man. Of course after a lot of convincing, mostly convincing Tobey, all three of them took on the ‘internship’.

2016: Finally, Spiderman Homecoming happens and its all the same just with overprotective brothers and mentors

2018: Infinity War where only Peter Parker gets Blipped. YEAH THAT’S RIGHT! I’M NOT ONLY CAUSING TONY THE PAIN HE FELT WHEN PETER GOT BLIPPED! I’M FUCKING MAKING TOBEY AND ANDREW FEEL IT BUT NOT KNOW IT CAUSE THEY WERE ON EARTH WHEN PETER GOT BLIPPED!HAHAHAHAHHA angst! =D

In Endgame after those five years Tobey is in an off and on type of relationship in being Spider-Man while Andrew barely has any time to be Andrew Parker but when Steve, Natasha and Scott finds the two and tells them the plan they are on BOARD with it. They gonna get their brother and aunt back if it’s the last thing they do, also im pretty sure Aunt May got blipped if ya’ll are confused, around 70% sure. I’m thinking of a version where Tony does die and a bonus one where he doesn’t because we all need that IronDad and Spider-Son(s?) moment.

Far From Home is when he did die.

Also IF one of ya'll were thinking I'd add Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock you thought right. It's small tho. So imagine him being their mom or dad's friend's kid who lived in San Francisco or something like that and he was a teen when the Parker's were kids so they're like non blood related cousins OR he's the non blood related cool Uncle with a parasite who loves his nephews.

The completely BS idea that Peter Parker is this insanely socially inept uwu guy is just really false and I don't know where it came from. (Oof welp, actually I do. It came from all the people that think that there can only be one type on top) The hate for Andrew's Peter is so unwarranted. There are so many versions in comics and in shows where Peter's not overly awkward and he's actually pretty confident and does good with making friends. People really just took Tobey Maguire's and said that his was the only version that could possibly be right so apparently that made Andrew's wrong? Like no. Tobey's is not law. He was one of many versions and just because Andrew's was cooler, it did not make his wrong. Check out the spiderman cartoons. Literally any spiderman comic. Okay, I'm all for Gwen Stacy slander here, just not TASM Gwen Stacy slander. The chemistry was there and she was MUCH better than little miss Mary "you didn't see my play, peter" Jane. (I wont put her over Zendaya tho) She was a really good love interest and honestly their chemistry was one of the best parts of the movie. Gwen never tried to hold Peter back and she always helped out as much as she could.

All in all I give Andrew Garfield's Peter an 8/10. He's super cool and I despise it when people hate on his character and his acting as if he didn't BLESS them by gracing their screens.

Okay so I finished my rewatch on all the Spiderman movies and I have many thoughts (I also wrote about each franchise separately  and will probably refer to those posts in this one (they are all under the # rewatching Spiderman and writing stupid posts))

The sum-up of it all it Andrew is my favorite🥰Toby was not good🥲and Tom is the best casting choice and the best Spiderman 😊

Flash:

I really like the development of flash throughout the movies. For one I like that in toms movie he is a fan of Spiderman. I like the chance of what it means to be a bully throughout the years. Like flash in the Toby movies is very typical to any movie/show that came out back then , hot-headed kinda dumb acting and generally basic , ofc he is with Mary Jane which gives more connection to Peter but there isn’t anything that unique about this version of flash very basic. The second flash in andrews movies is a bit more developed, instead of dating Peters future love interest she tutors him another main thing that is different with this flash is that we get to see more to him, we saw him a bit more nice and compassionate after Ben died while I really liked and really added to the story and his character, other than that him as a bully was also pretty normal nothing too special pretty basic. Now to my fav flash ,toms flash, first off he is a fan of Spiderman which makes every scene where he makes fun of Peter ten times better and more entertaining.other then that he is obviously very different then the other 2 flashes , he is also a nerd and doesn’t use physical violence and mostly just makes fun of Peter on top of that he hangs out basically in the same circles as Peter which creates more situations for them to interact and gives him more chances to bully Peter, I like that he doesn’t have a connection at least not a direct one to MJ/Liz (like ofc they are also in the same circles but nothing just the 2 of them) .and ofc the main thing about him is the fact that he kinda feels like the stereotype writing of a scary bully teenager in present time from the eyes of an adult, like he is rude rich shows confidence and the way he specks just feels ….written by an adult.(i wrote about this in my post about toms movies more). Overall I honestly don’t think Peter needs flash in the story like I don’t think he needs a bully to be Peter Parker like he can still be unpopular and a nerd without a built pointing it out , I would like to see a version of Spiderman without a bully ,like either without flash or him as a ex-friend or a toxic/fake friend.

Gwen/MJ:

So I wrote a lot about them in my previous posts so I don’t have much to say other then Gwen was the best. Like Mary Jane felt pointless and just there to be there and didn’t really have anything to her other then being his crush/love interest/ex…so yea she was fine but the writers didn’t really give her character any personality or depth. As for MJ I like her but again with the stereotype writing of teens, she at times feels like a parody however she dose have personality and is interesting and I really like her and Peter and her character in general just the writing for her sucks. And ofc Gwen, Emma stone my love ❣️ her character felt fun and fresh she had her own personality and storylines without Peter and was just great,smart funny and just cool, and I just hate that they killed her.overall all of their stories had their nice moments but in a future version I kinda want to see a platonic relationship between Peter and MJ/Gwen like BFF or something I think that would be cool.

Andrew:

So obviously I wrote about him a lot in his own post but…Andrew is my favorite one.I just love the energy he brings to the role. The way he delivered every line both the funny ones and the more serious emotional ones just hits every single time. Generally I just love him he is a good actor and such a sweet person (also tick tick boom was just awesome). I don’t care that some people say he was “too cool” to be Peter I thought he was just the right amount of cool and I think it really added to the character and he did a great job. I know some people think the movies need to be an accurate repaznstsion of the comics but I don’t agree I think the movies are all about interpretation, evolution and recreating the story in a way that fits the writers,director,actors and the time.

Origin story:

As for the origin story I definitely think Andrew had the best one, his story was well based with his dad and the Science of it all , it was well explored throughout the two movies and I just loved it. As for Toby it was good two like it was simple but it was explained properly. With Tom there was basically no story, he told Ned he was beaten by a spider and that was it we didn’t even see it happen which I really didn’t like. Also with Toby and Andrew we got to see them discover their powers and became Spiderman and we didn’t have that with time which really sucks and I really missed.

Ben and May:

So I really like the changes that happened between the 3 versions of may and Ben. First of I kinda like the fact the Tom didn’t have the Ben tragedy with him, like on the one hand there was something sad missing from his character like the motive to help people I guess like sure he lives in a world of superheroes but still..but on the other hand I liked that there was the aspect of Peter blaming himself for his uncle’s death. I missed the “with great power comes great responsibility” thing from the two last versions. I liked the fact that from one version to another may become more involved in Peters life, it made way more sense that way. I also like that may gets younger , it feels like she is closer to Peter that way and that she is his aunt and not a grandmother or something like that.

Peter:

Obviously there are many differences between all the Peters, and this is true even without considering the actors who played them, some people like to think of Peter and Spiderman as different characters but in my eyes the two obviously come together (the most clear version you see it in is with Andrew as I wrote in the past). Tobys Peter is very standard and pretty much what you would expect from a Peter Parker-Spiderman character, he is unpopular a nerd and cares about helping people, his motives are very clear and how he started, Bens death had a high impact on him and felt needed for him. There wasn’t anything that special about him he was the nerdy kid that has a pretty normal shitty life and then something awesome happens that changes him. As for Andrew he was a bit more interesting, he wasn’t completely unpopular and awkward and his story was more fun to watch in my opinion, he also ofc cared about helping people but it felt different then Toby (idk how but yea). The thing I liked most about Toby and Andrews version is the fact that they depended on themselves like sure they had some help at some point (which for the record I liked (I also wrote about that)) but with toms version he was so depended on the avengers and I get it they live in very different world and Tom had this idea of what it means to be a superhero but it really took over his character at some points, I really like Toms version I think he is the best casting and he had good movies and I like that this version has this more kid-innocent vibe to it , but the MCU is really the main thing here, he didn’t really have a big tragedy or an origine story and from a certain point he didn’t really care about that friendly neighborhood Spiderman and just wanted to be with the avengers (and yes he said no ti Tony’s proposal but even after that he still didn’t feel like Spiderman).now don’t get me wrong I love toms version I love the belnce he has with sweet and awkward and he is absolutely awesome and I love Him but those things just annoy me.I do love seeing the effect time has on the Peters character (like flash kinda).

Suits:

I have 3 main thoughts about the suits :

1.how tf were Toby and Andrew able to make good suits? Like yes they are smart but they don’t really have money and I’m sorry but you want to tell me a teenager from queens in the 21 Century know how to sew that well??? Like how??

2.I love their firsts suits so much like the before they choose to really be real superheros(ofc it is different for Tom) .the first ones are just so iconic to me and make sense for them to have it and I just love it.

3.I’m kind of conflicting myself but toms suit is the only one that makes sense (this is related to 1) like it is a suit built by a millionaire that has experience with suits it makes sense and I just love that Toms suit have all the features that could have helped tony at some point of his past, and it all just makes sense and I like the connection tony and his tech have to Peters suits.

As for which suit I like the most it has to be Tobys(look wise) it is the classic one and I just love it the lines just make all the difference. Like I love andrews one as well and Tom had many suits that were just so cool but there is just something great about Tobys suit(maybe it is just nostalgia but maybe more then that).

THE song:

What an iconic song I don’t really have much to say about it other then I’m really glad in was in all the versions in one way or another.

T-shirts:

So this is mostly about tom(maybe also Toby and Andrew didn’t really notice) but there were some very iconic shirt that toms Peter wore and I just love 1.that he wore them more then once, like generally I love it when characters wear the same clothes in different days…2.how much the shirts say about his geeky dorky personality

Future versions:

So I do want more versions of Spiderman because why not ? And this is some stuff I would want to see:(for the record I do not give a shit about the comics and what is true to them)

a gay Spiderman, like maybe that the love interest is Harry and then the whole villain thing would be so much more intense (Andrew definitely had bi energy but I need something canon)

A female Spiderman , I know there is one in the spider verse but I need an entire movie about it

A minority as Spiderman, I think it can really help the character like make it more interesting and give him more layers

A Jewish one, yes this is a personal thing I would love to see a Jewish version of anything, and yes Andrew also had a Jewish vibe probably because Andrew is Jewish, but I also think it makes sense because NYC and all that.

Maybe one that may dies and Ben lives and stays with Peter

What ever the version will be I need a good origine story that makes sense and is well built

How I Would Fix the MCU Movies (in chrono order)

Black Widow is mentioned but there are no spoilers! also this is super long sorry lol

CA:TFA

--More time with the howling commandos- instead of a montage with their battles with sit with them and feel their struggles. we feel not only capt’s grief but everyone on the team when bucky ‘dies’. idk would have loved to see more of a band of bothers bond 

Captain Marvel 

--I saw/read somewhere that her story could have work really well with a similar structure as CA:TFA and i agree. they were so concerned with making carol look powerful that they forgot to give her the fiery/badass personality we were promised. there was too much telling not enough showing 

Iron Man 

--Literally Nothing. Perfect. Great Intro to the series. 

Iron Man 2 

--again really solid movie i wish the villains were a bit more developed by tbh this is my fav iron man movie 

The Incredible Hulk 

--babes i dont even remember this movie its super cool they keep rossi around from it tho. hes literally the only thing the mcu kept from this monstrosity i would keep a similar plot structure but with mark ruffalo and a better script and tbh a better evrything. cannot tell you where to start with this jesus   

Thor 

--would have liked to see of the personality thor has later on in the timeline line- but it is interesting to think maybe he developed his humor and friendliness from his time on earth, idk this movie was kinda dull? i mean everything is dull compared to ragnarok and better compared to the dark world so idk how to fix that- maybe less of chris’s weird screaming- definitely less of chris’s screaming 

The Avengers 

--honestly love this movie-great set up to the team dynamics wouldn’t change anything. i love the nostalgia i get from watching this  

Iron Man 3 

--another movie i dont really remember but? this is the one with the bunny right? i feel like after iron man 1 the quality of tony’s enemies has gone down hill but i could watch rdj do anything so overall good experience 

Thor: The Dark World  

--besties what even happened in this movie like, jane babes what are we doing. loki is as amazing as ever tho. but like ‘oh no lokis dead again whatever are we going to do’ i would simply through the whole thing away- keeping jane going to asgard, loki being dramatic, and the relationships of the asgardian gang we get to see. also the reality stone thats pretty important 

CA:TWA 

--I. Love. This. Movie. my fav in the whole timeline. can you tell im a capt girl? literally the best wow won’t change a thing

--so! much! fun! i love their family dynamics and tbh i love peter quill (we all did until pratt was a dick but)

--I wasn’t obsessed with this movie but I cant quite figure out how i would change it- it was visually beautiful and emotionally beautiful but idk something felt off until the very end 

Age of Ultron 

--hot take- i really like this movie. i like how it completely changes the direction of the series and makes the mcu feel so real, like the friend ship seen- i would have like more clint so his character arc in endgame would have been impactful i dont hate the farm family but man i sure dont love them jesus but yea i love the dialogue and the only thing i would really change is clint’s involve meant. also helen cho deserved to have a bigger part in the mcu 

Ant-Man 

--super fun! i feel like this movie is great the way it is- a familiar super hero movie when the series was starting to get pretty dense with the lore wont change anything

--i read somewhere this movie was originally going to be steve and sam and the rest of the squad finding bucky and i was robbed. over time the mcu starting telling us how great steve and buckys relationship was instead of showing us. like men can show each other affection marvel that is a thing that happens but tbh i loved this movie- i would change a lot but i still really enjoyed it 

Spiderman: Homecoming 

--its so cute i love it but I miss andrew garfields peter- he felt more like the comics but besties i love this movie and tom i would just change how ton is characterized to be more comic actuate but also maybe not idk

I just watched Spiderman: Homecoming and

I FUCKING LOVED IT

I didn’t get to see it on big screen (my cinema is smol and doesn’t put most of good films, rip Deadpool) I just got to watch it today and it was freaking. Good. I had such a bad day today and it lifted my spirits, made me jump, cry and scream. It was perfect and if you want to know why, let me tell you under the cut. And warning, I have a lot to say.

Also yeah, I’m going to draw a fanart of The Vulture. Because honestly.

This part is “no major spoilers”. There will be also few of my thoughts below with BiG SpoileRS but I’ll give you a warning, don’t worry.

Okay. So. Here are my thoughts.

Spiderman: Homecoming is the best Spiderman movie out of three existing major series at this moment. I’m sure you already heard that, but this film portrays Peter Parker finally in a accurate way. Dorky, “uncool” intelligent guy with a good heart that never shuts up. Tobey Maguire was way too quiet and Andrew Garfield... made this character look like an asshole. I mean it’s the writing’s fault but you get me. Tom Holland is perfect. I’m so glad they actually got a teenager to play a... teenager. His school crush, being the unpopular nerd kid, having nerd friend, it all looked so natural. Even Flash doesn’t get the role of a “I’ll make you hang on your underwear” bully, he is still a bully but in a more reliable way. (unless you really got this kind of treatment in school, in that case I’m sorry.)

Also I love the world building. The stuff that happened in previous movies had an impact on civilians life and we got to see that from the other side. Cleaning up after aliens attack in New York, leftovers from Ultron bots in Sokovia getting in hands of non-federals? Avengers being basically celebrities, Cap being used for making educational movies for kids in schools. I loved it all.

This is a major spoilers part. So even if you are chill with getting some spoilers here and there before watching a film, if you haven’t seen it yet I BEG YOU DON’T READ THE REST. REALLY. IT’S WORTH EXPLORING IT FOR YOURSELF.

Okay then, hello fellow people who also watched this film, how are you.

SO HEAR ME OUT ON THE VULTURE

He is so fresh of a villain. We got really great major villains in few last Marvel movies. (Hela was so aesthetically pleasing, Ultron had a soft spot. It was really subtle and seen in a way he interacted with twins and Black Widow. Ego was great too, tho I was really confused about his great evil plan)  And Vulture is just so human. Yea, he is a villain. We see him shrugging off the fact that he killed a man and caring about the stuff he wants to get instead of worrying that a plane will crash INTO BUILDINGS???

But he also has a strong reasoning behind his decisions. He build the organisation (company? whatever) himself and kept it running, which wasn’t easy. And all of it he did for his family and his workers who also had families. I can totally see his point and thought process that had taken him where he was.

He also has some morals! He made his decisions, most of them were terrible, but he has his priorities straight. He could try to kill Peter the second time after the plane crash, but he was too desperate to get the deliver. And the scene after the end credits when he refused to give up his identity? Because Peter saved his and his daughter’s life? Yes. Thank you. Every other Spiderman movie villain would go straight for the kill and revenge.

And his design is amazing. I’m a fucker for (metal!) wings and pilot jackets.

Peter’s relationship with Tony Stark? People were right. Tony is Peter’s dad. he even makes a joke about it like three times in the movie. 10/10 would dad and son again. I love how Tony just accepted Peter’s decision at the end to give up being an Avenger. Like no big deal, yeah, I designed this brand new suit for you with great care and amount of detail, but you don’t want it yet and that’s absolutely okay. (Btw I am amazed how Tony Stark can make those designs and projects having only 24 hours per day)

Time to talk about the scene that ended my life :).

The one taken from the early issiues of Spiderman comics, where he is trapped under the roof that was dropped on him. The scene in the movie hit me so hard. I did not see this amount of angst coming in an otherwise light hearted movie like this. It got sooo heavy from the big twist point (the villain - hero talk in the car was the best scene in the whole film probably) and this one was a fucking catharsis.

Peter screaming and crying for help, because at that moment he was just a 15 y/o trapped under  huge blocks of concrete, panicing because he was about to die and there was noone who could possibly help him. There was no Iron Man Ex Machina this time. And when he realised that, and realised that he still is a spiderman, even if not in his suit and with sheer force of will ge got out from under the rubble, it was so powerful. I was crying. Do not do this to my son ever again (I didn’t watched the Infinity War yet and fromwhat I heard, I will cry)

and so while I like how tom hollands spiderman is kinda funky fresh and gives us a look into a younger or at least more accurate take on spiderman when he was at the age of 15 + u get the added bonus of actually seeing him interact w other heroes which is kinda new + the play on the word home in all the titles honestly epic and its like just overall more of a fun time I also really liked how w andrew garfields spiderman its seemingly more mature and I actually rlly like how it doesnt just gloss over grief when a character dies although I guess some people disliked how often he was sad but like mf loses everyone he kinda has a right to be sad and also the cgi/special effects in the amazing spiderman is honestly cooler imo even tho the homecoming series is literally more recent and also gwen literally such a girlboss...

Maybe. Maybe. And it would have to be very specific ships. Scerek or Steter could be okay, maybe. In that scenario. Hell, Dydia. Just... I don’t like s!erek lol. 

incest. I don’t count Justin/Clay, though. Or Alex/Jonas. Step-siblings are pushing it, but if they became step-siblings at a much later stage in life (like the two examples) then... okay. Maybe. However, certain canons would make that damn near impossible, such as Misfits, so I will if necessary discuss those topics within the work. Mostly I’d rather stay away, however.

genderswap/cis-swap. It’s very rare that I read a genderbent fic that I care for, I dunno. I just don’t get why, I guess. What the need is for it. A lot of times I see it in the slash tags, which isn’t... great. so, Harry/Ron isn’t Harry slash Ron, it’s Harrietta!! or Rhonda!! or something!! for no reason??? so idk. I’ve seen the same in femslash tags, too, by the way. I just, idk. The fact that’s it’s common in what would be slash ships is... not great, it doesn’t sit particularly well with me. Idk.
