I like to think he changes his voice a bit with the help of Sally, who calls him Julian or Julius (so Greek sounding).

Eddie and Frank are already friends with him, so they love him already, which makes the thought of friend crushes (also called “squishes”) very possible. Like when you have a close friend and you’re hanging out as usual, but you’re suddenly confused if you like them more than just a friend or if you just really like them as a person (platonic).

*Just* having a fanpage includes:

Scheduled posting and teamwork with the other admin - even when we are in the hospital, even when we are too busy. Spending real money on research because you need to buy some box sets or books, travelling to Sweden and Norway (cost of which was around 7000 bucks), meeting Pelle's brother, talking to dozens and dozens of people who had contact with Øystein and Pelle or knew them in any way.

Constantly searching for such people, going against the accepted narrative and being hated for it, saying NO to a certain famous individual within the community who then proceeded to badmouth us for over a year - even to other popular pages who ridiculed us on stories simply because I demanded something that they promised.

Making sure everything we post is verifiable information, always being ready to answer questions without looking into notes because it would take too much time, which means - all of the information I share is from MY OWN FUCKING MEMORY.

Uncovering absolutely trauma worthy information that can never be made public and having to live with such secrets. Knowing way too much in general, even more than you bargained for. Being knowledgeable about Pelle and Øystein but constantly being put down and /or belittled because of gender.

Like the whole "DOOM runs on anything" meme is funny sure but technically you can run any program on any machine that has the processor, memory, and storage space for it. You may need to tweak some thing here and there to get it fully operational but really that's mostly what it hinges on.

I turned my windows netbook into a Debian server and then turned *that* into cloud-based storage I could dump and share and run any files I wanted to off my internet connection when I was in college by tying an external hard drive to it using an always-on connection. I still technically have the hard drive but I sold the netbook a long time ago. I also turned my MacBook from college into an always-on minecraft server for my college friends before Microsoft decided to give us actual multi-player support.

I also turned my MacBook into a windows OS emulator when I wanted to game because I got annoyed that Mac ports are usually poopoobad quality. So I would turn my MacBook on and then load up my windows os inside of the Mac os and then actually load the game.

Like yeah I went to school for programming but I actually learned how to do most of that as a kid because my dad had a computer that had no GUI, it was all command prompt and DOS. There are times when my current windows computers are annoying me because they won't do the thing I told them to do so I load up dos and then effectively go "I wasn't asking" at it.
