Lines from Gilligan's Island that live in my head rent-free on a weekly if not daily basis even when I'm not actively watching the show:
• *shoots the gun* "HALT or I'll SHOOT- oh hi Skipper!"
• "I just want an eensy, weensy piece of rope"
"How big is this eensy, weensy piece of rope?"
"6 feet"
• "Hi Gillig-"
"NO NO NO NO NO NO-"
• "Need more magic POWDER!"
• "Remember Gilligan, mum's the word"
"Hello Gilligan!"
"Mum"
"Don't be ridiculous, Gilligan, I'm not your mum!"
• "But Skipper I can't be on camera because if I'm on camera the whole world is gonna see it and if the whole world sees it then the whole United States is gonna see it and if the whole United States sees it then my hometown is gonna see it and if my hometown sees it then my brother is gonna see it and if my brother sees it, he'll punch me 'cause I'm wearing his shirt"
• "But before you go I have a little something for you"
"A chrysanthemum?"
"No, a .45 chrysanthemum"
• "I WON'T BE YOUR PUPPET I WON'T BE YOUR PUPPET"
• "If I'm not telling the truth may lightning strike!"
*lightning strikes just then*
• "What am I thinking about now, Gilligan?"
"You're thinking about a Hawaiian girl in a grass skirt- *disgusted* oh, Skipper!!"
• "FREEEESH FIIISH"
• *in a bad Dracula voice* "Hello, I am the VAMpire"
• "We don't have an alcove, you SHNOOK"
• "Crossing the English Channel was devilishly hard you see, it was take one step and come up for air and then take another step and come up for air-"
• "Don't I get a tip?"
"How much does 1+1 make, kid?"
*holds up two fingers* "Two?"
*sticks a cigar in between his fingers*
• every song from the Hamlet episode but particularly the Toreador March ("Neither a borrower nor a lender be" etc.)
• and of course just the way Gilligan says "SKIP-PEEEEEEER!" and "PROFESSOOOOOR!"

For decades, men and women have participated in the Marry-Anne of Ginger debate. But since we're dealing with Funko Pops and I intend to collect all seven, I said;
I also picked up the Cinderella pop in Disney's 100th Anniversary line from Funko. I plan on getting the others, but Cinderella's is just so pretty, so I went with her first.

If a Gilligan's Island movie was made in the 2000s, I pick Ben Savage as Gilligan, Kevin James as Captain Jonas "The Skipper" Grumby, Patrick Dempsey as Thurston Howell III, Sarah Jessica Parker as Eunice "Lovey" Howell, Kate Hudson as Ginger Grant, Luke Wilson as Professor Roy Hinkley and Christina Ricci as Mary Ann Summers.

Gilligan's Island remake ish
WHY must y’all pick the WIPs with no writing whatsoever 😭😭😭
So while on a vacation a few months ago, my cousin and I were like “Why hasn’t anyone tried to remake Gilligan's Island? The basis of 7 people stranded on an island with little resources is such a modern concept.” You’re telling me there was so sex and death on that island?? Ok….
I’m really sorry but this also a fic with no writing 😔

5 Classic Comedies That Make Us Regret Not Being Older
Oh, the power of comedy. It can make us laugh. It can make us cry...
Oh, the power of comedy. It can make us laugh. It can make us cry. It can make us feel like absolute idiots compared to the geniuses writing it.
