ilithyia and glaber are both incredibly toxic to each other and just in general. but glaber constantly forgets that he has the positions and titles he does because of ilithyia, and he would not be nearly as respected without her. but he’s over here on his high horse and then gets all upset when ilithyia she decides she wants someone equal to her in status. like sir sit down.

On the heels of the bloody escape from the House of Batiatus that concluded "Spartacus: Blood and Sand", the gladiator rebellion continues and begins to strike fear into the heart of the Roman Republic in "Spartacus: Vengeance". Gaius Claudius Glaber and his Roman troops are sent to Capua to crush the growing band of freed slaves that Spartacus leads before it can inflict further damage. Spartacus is presented the choice of satisfying his personal need for vengeance against the man that condemned his wife to slavery and eventual death, or making the larger sacrifices necessary to keep his budding army from breaking apart. Containing all of the blood-soaked action, exotic sexuality, and villainy and heroism that has come to distinguish the series, the tale of Spartacus resumes in epic fashion.

*Before Spartacus and the rebels leave to attack the brothel, Crixus tells him that it's not his fight. To which Spartacus replied, "I gave my word; blood and honor. It yet speaks to the man." These are the very same words he shared with Sura in "The Red Serpent" before leaving for war.

Cuddle up to the naked mole rat (Heterocephalus glaber)! Native to parts of eastern Africa, including Kenya and Ethiopia, these rodents inhabit underground burrows. They typically live in colonies of around 70 individuals—but they've been spotted in groups that near 300! To keep warm, they huddle together for body heat, often seeking out tunnels that lie close to the surface and are heated by the Sun. Did you know? Naked mole rats have the longest lifespans of all rodents, sometimes living for up to 30 years!

Swamp milkweed, Asclepias incarnata, growing in a marl mound with multiple rushes and sedges reminiscent of ancient river scours in Tennessee and glacial alvar wetlands. Most of the sedges are state listed in Ohio. A balled faced hornet with a few corpuscule (singular corpusculum) attached to the hooks on it's legs is seen getting nectar and pollinating. Its cool to check in on all of you Asclepias incarnata you come to in-situ. It tells you a lot about pollinators present. The other thing that makes this species interesting is further divisions. SSP. incarnata and pulchera respectively as of current are divided into two sections and appear to have a northern/ plains and eastern/ southern dist. The hairy stemmed pulchera(G5) is fairly variable and much more common with conduplicate foliage and dark purple flowers unlike above. The other accepted subsp. is considered G4 and is glaberous with a height reduction in many cases and smaller leaves on average. The real kicker is someone has reported glandular hair in the past and I am curious if a third ssp. even occurs or if it was a missed report.
