--- Maternal Side

Lars Eriksson (1918-2003) & Hanna Svensson (1920 - 2005)

The Eriksson’s were a long standing name within the Maritime shipping industry in Sweden, Lars inheriting the company at just 20 years old when both his parents and older brother died within a house fire.

He married Hanna Svensson, a witch who’s family were heavily involved within supernatural medicine, study and alchemy.

They had several children together, none of who’s records now exist except for Greta Eriksson.

Greta Eriksson (1939 - Present) & Karl Nilsson (1937 - Present)

Greta was born and raised in Sweden, and met Karl in Los Angeles in the 50s. The Nilsson's were involved within the entertainment industry at the time and Karl was a manager.

Greta transitioned from alchemy studies and became an actress.

She suffered from mental health issues due to the abuse from her mother and father.

They were married and had three children, Agneta, Olin and Hugo.

They retired in Sweden and have lived there since the late 90s.

Olin and Hugo: Olin joined the air force at eighteen and is now estranged from the family. He now lives in Washington D.C with his wife and children. Hugo was an eratic party-goer, often disappearing for months. He is also estranged from the family, last known to be in San Francisco.

Agneta Nilsson (1964 - Present) & Olaf Ranström (1963 - Present)

Both Agneta and Olaf were born in New York City and into the entertainment industry.

Agneta was pursuing a career within acting when she met Olaf, who was working as a manager at his family owned company Zenith Entertainment.

They were married quickly, and had three children. Nina, Felix and Jakob.

Agneta's career in acting ended prematurely and she now is COO of Zenith Entertainment and Olaf is CEO.

Johan Ranström (1918 - 2006) and Elsa Adel (1922 - 2010)

Johan was born in Sweden but his parents moved to New York City when he was young, using their financial prowess to begin their venture within the entertainment industry in the 1920s.

The Ranström's began Zenith Entertainment and established Radio City Music Hall in 1932.

Esla hailed from a prominent family of witches in Sweden who worked within finance. She was young when she met Johan, and her pregnancy saw them married under arrangement.

She was only 15 when she gave birth to their son Gustav.

Gustav Ranström (1937 - 2020) & Anna Adolphson (1941 - Present)

Gustav was born and raised in New York City, while Anna Adolphson was born and raised in Sweden. The Adpholson name was influential within the publishing industry.

Through this, Gustav and Anna met and were later married. They had three children, Olaf, Sven and Elisa.

Their marriage was not a happy one, especially with Gustav's alcoholism and violent nature.

Anna moved back to Sweden while her children were still young, leaving them with their father in New York City.

Sven & Elisa: For many years, both Sven and Elisa worked within Zenith Entertainment but when it came for their father to retire, they were muscled out of any running for the position of CEO by Olaf. Since, relationships with them have been strained. Elisa moved to Los Angeles, and Sven moved to Chicago.

Originally called Vildvittra, based on the characters created by Astrid Lindgren as part of Ronja Rövardotter, the band’s name later evolved into Vittra, inspired by the mythical creatures appearing in Swedish folk stories. And while Swedish folk is a recurring theme weaving in and out of their music, the band is firmly rooted in Melodic Death and Thrash Metal in the veins of Dissection, early In Flames, Megadeth, and At The Gates

Founded in 2017 by David Döragrip (vocals) and Johan Murmester (guitar), the lineup was completed in 2018 with Alex Smith (drums) and Gustav Svensson (bass) joining the band. In the studio and on stage Vittra has also been joined by Lars Elofsson on lead guitar since 2021. This was also the year they released their debut EP Wardens, recorded at SolnaSound Production, Sweden, with the support of Simon Johansson (Soilwork, Wolf). Only a few months later, they entered SolnaSound again – this time supported by both Simon and Mike Wead (King Diamond, Mercyful Fate) – and in April 2022 Blasphemy Blues was finalized. Lawrence Mackrory (Bloodbath, Lik, Firespawn) handled the mixing and mastering. Hjules created the cover artwork.

Pippiperspektiv

I maj 2020 släpptes jubileumsboken Pippiperspektiv för att fira att det är 75 år sedan den första Pippi Långstrump-boken kom ut. Jag deltog med ett par bilder till en essä av Lisa Ehlin. Texten fokuserar på Pippis styrka och svaghet, Pippi som individualist i relation till kollektivet. I bildarbetet utgick jag från min frågeställning om den ensamma karaktären och behovet av andra. Jag undrade vem som egentligen tar hand om Pippi och vem som flätar hennes hår.

OSKAR, NINA & FELIX FAMILY TREE

Johan Ranström (1910 - 2009) & Elsa Adel (1912 - 2006)

Both Johan and Elsa hailed from families of witches and bankers. Their marriage was arranged but proved to be the meeting of two brilliant minds. They both carried innate abilities with numbers and figures, prompting them to move to New York City in the 1920s, marking the very beginning of what would later become Zenith Capital management. In 1932, they had one child, Gustav Ranström. Both Johan and Elsa remained involved in the growth of Zenith Capital before retiring in Sweden where Elsa passed away in 2006 and Johan a few years later in 2009.

Secrets of Johan & Elsa:

It was believed that Elsa was the mastermind behind Zenith Capital Management and the company is not in fact a Ranström legacy as it's believed to be. Elsa was known as an insane genius, one of her many homes she owned was littered with puzzles and secret compartments that required difficult mathematics or magic to discover. It was also believed she had an affair which bore another child a few years before Gustav was born.

Gustav Ranström (1932 - 2019) & Anna Adolphson (1936 - present)

Gustav was born in New York City and continued to work in finance to grow the Zenith legacy with his parents. His marriage to Anna was also arranged, and she had very little to do with the family business she married into. Anna's tastes veered towards a life of leisure and she resided mainly in Sweden for the duration of her life. Gustav and Anna had three children together. Elisa, Sven and Olaf. Later on in his life, Gustav retired to the estate in Sweden and died in 2019. Anna is still very much alive, but has little involvement with any of her children nor grandchildren.

Secrets of Gustav and Anna:

Anna's family had strong ties to the military, and where it's believed they made most of their money in trading with Germany during the second world war. Gustav was known as a keen drinker, speculated as the reason why Anna chose to remain in Sweden for most of her life. She wasn't a present mother in the slightest, letting her children reside with their father in New York so they could work within Zenith. Olaf recounts fond memories of Sweden to spend summers with his mother and harsh punishments for any mischief he and his siblings got up to.

Elisa Ranström and Sven Ranström:

With Olaf as the eldest, both Sven and Elisa's involvement with Zenith Capital Management was limited and instead focused at Asphodel Institute. Elisa worked within mentoring whereas Sven was known as a passionate instructor. An unknown reason caused Sven to leave New York City in the 90s, moving to Chicago with his wife and children, and Elisa a few years later to Los Angeles. They sparingly attend family events but contact with them is next to non existent.

It was also believed that his parents didn't approve of his relationship with Hanna, and she also aided the the cover up of the fire. Hannah's family were believed to use abyssal magic and conducted experiments on other supernaturals to further their studies, including cruel practices in hopes of extracting a continuous flow of Phoenix tears.

Greta Eriksson (1936 - present) & Karl Nilsson (1934 - present)

Greta continued her family's legacy within the world of supernatural medicine and study, and she later married Karl Nilsson, an supernatural archaeologist. They had three children together, Agneta, Olin and Hugo. It was then they settled in New York City where Greta worked at Asphodel Institute before they retired, settling back in their home-country of Sweden together as they reached their 70s.

Secrets of Greta and Karl:

It's a possibility that Greta used her children within her experiments and studies. Karl was known to be passive and a free-thinker, or even an enabler for her ways. Greta involuntarily spent a period of time within a mental health institute in Switzerland in the 70s, all the letters she sent to her husband from the time were apparently blanked when she attempted to detail the happenings behind closed doors.

Olin Nilsson and Hugo Nilsson:

As soon as Olin was eighteen, he joined the air force. He later married his wife and settled into a life with her and their children in Washington D.C. Hugo was a known erratic and party go-er, often working at Asphodel but disappearing for long periods of time. It was eventually discovered he relocated to San Francisco. Both brothers have very little to do with the family, also opting out entirely of any studies or involvement within the world of the supernatural.

Olaf Ranström (1956 - present) & Agneta Nilsson (1957 - present)

Olaf was born and raised in New York and was destined to inherit the family business of Zenith Capital Management. Agneta worked at Asphodel and continued to follow her own family's path within supernatural advancement and studies. However, when they were married she changed course and joined Zenith Capital Management. According to the certificate, the two were married in 1976 when Agneta was nineteen. They had three children together, Oskar, Nina and Felix.

Secrets of Olaf and Agneta:

It's a possibility that Agneta was a victim of experiments and studies by her own mother, Greta and is a silent advocate for harmful practices done to other supernaturals under the guise of progress and education. It's also speculated that Olaf purposely elbowed out his brother and sister in order to keep the family fortune for himself. It's also believed the two were married upon discovering they were expecting their first child, something urged by Olaf's family.

Backstory: Sebastian was born on April 16th, 1968 in Norrköping, Sweden. He grew up in Gothenburg. He does not talk very much about his childhood, but has said that his parents were often very busy with their jobs from the age of 6, to his later teen years. Because of this, Sebastian played with himself and sometimes with the neighborhood kids, although, they weren’t too nice to Sebastian. In his senior year in high school, at 18, Sebastian met Siv Svennig, they were both the same age and went to the same school. Sebastian and Siv instantly hit it off, later marrying when they were 20 years old, having dated and loved each other for two years. At age 23, Siv became pregnant, and nine months later on August 18th, Sebastian Gustav Svennig Jr was born. Sebastian became a doting father and managed his best to juggle being a father with his job at a bar and music store. Six years later, Siv became pregnant again, giving birth to another baby boy, Karl Martin Svennig, on December 15th. Sebastian was a great husband, a great father, and a great story teller, he would tell funny stories all the time at the bar to his friends. Sebastian would see fights, hear hilariously stupid conversations, and other whack shit at the bar, adding those instances to his stories. At 39, in 2007, Sebastian met Olaf Strousborg, an engineer and software designer, the two became good friends with a brother-like relationship.

On October 11th, 2009, Sebastian and his friends Gustav Bergman and Elias Svensson went on a camping trip in the secluded woods in east Linköping. Their intent was to have a fun time in the woods, a scary place to be at night, especially near Halloween, but that plan did not go well. Everything was fine, until when the trio went to sleep. Gustav and Elias went into their tents to sleep, quickly realizing that they forgot to bring Sebastian a tent, Sebastian joked and just decided to sleep on the grass, with nothing but a pillow and small blanket. 30 minutes later, Sebastian awoke to the sound of some heavy breathing on his face, and some pressure on his chest. Opening his eyes, Sebastian came face-to-face with a black bear, rare creatures to be seen in Sweden. Sebastian instantly panicked, screaming and beginning to struggle in an attempt to get free, startling the bear and causing it to attack him viciously. Sebastian fought the bear the best he could, but to no avail, the Bear was too strong for him and ripped him up. His neck was brutally ripped open, along with his chest, blood was gushing out of his mouth, nose, and wounds. Gustav and Elias rushed to his side once the bear left, immediately tending to his wounds, phoning for help, and trying their hardest to keep Sebastian awake. He was alive for two minutes more, unable to breathe, and in so much pain. Sebastian was rushed to the hospital, where emergency surgery was performed on him, but there was nothing they could do that would help him. He was D.O.A, Dead On Arrival, his wife was the first to be called and told of what happened. Everyone that knew Sebastian raced to the hospital, nearly crowding the waiting room. It was a completely devastating night for Sebastian’s friends and family.

After being pronounced dead at 12:00 am, Sebastian rose from his body and began to walk around, very confused and scared. He was a ghost, the fact that he was dead kicking in less than twenty seconds. Half of his memory of when he was alive was gone, he could remember his name, but not his middle/last name, where he lived, he was lost. Sebastian ran out of the hospital crying, screaming for help, but no one heard him, adding to his frustration and panic. Running in a random direction, Sebastian made his way to a small neighborhood, banging on the first door he saw. Inside that house was Abha Lindström, a Swedish fashion designer and clothing maker, she was alone watching a horror movie, it was three months before she met her husband, Häägen Daß. She heard the knocking, the screaming and crying, walking to the door and opening it, hoping to get to the source of the racket. There stood a tall skinny man, black hair, black leather jacket, Metallica shirt, ripped jeans, work boots. It had began to rain outside, heavily, yet he wasn’t wet at all. Abha asked the man his name, a somber, distorted, “Sebastian, please. Help. Me” leaving his mouth. Abha went to touch him, as she was suspicious if Sebastian was real or not, but her hand went through him, Sebastian shivering in response. Sebastian was allowed to stay with Abha the night, the next day telling her what he remembered of what happened, explaining to her he was dead and could not find his way back home, or even to where he died. Feeling bad, Abha let Sebastian move in with her, the two became best friends and roommates. Three months later, Abha met Häägen Daß, a notorious german Doctor, while working at her clothing store job. Häägen was in Sweden to get a new doctoral coat, being told by his coworker PaulChard Greider that the best coats were being made in Sweden. Häägen and Abha hit it off, and became lovers after three days of getting to know each other, Häägen moved in with Abha soon after they became official. Häägen and Abha now have three children, two twin girls and one boy, and are now married. Sebastian and Häägen do not get along and fight constantly.
