LITERALLY SCREAMING OH MY FUCKING GOD I DID IT. I GOT IN! Not one, but TWO NOVEL/WRITING MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS. aflsjdfiasfas.

I had to submit a novel sample, references, personal statement etc the WHOLE NINE YARDS.

AND I CAN DO BOTH BECAUSE THE TIMING WORKS!?!?!

Starting in a couple of weeks, I will be part of two small writing cohorts of about a dozen people each, and we will be writing novels while receiving guidance from professional authors and literary agents. AND by the end, I'll basically have the first draft of a novel that's ready for revisions (and hopefully eventually in the future querying). PLUS, I have a mentor outside of this program to support me as well.

This is a fucking dream come true and I am so thankful in all the people who helped me and believed in me. I wish I could have told teen me that our dream would come true. What a way to start 2024!

All this said - I won't be abandoning fanfic - my cadence for posting was already slow so you probably won't see a difference tbh. But my quality of writing may go up! So win-win!?
