- they’d be around in the golden trio era, and their first like. real friend is neville, only because hes scared of her. he didn’t insult them about being a “death eater” or something to that effect, like some students have been doing, so he didnt have an excuse to snarl back at him. when she saw him cowering in front of her when he was their potions partner she was like “...🥺“ and became rather helpful with him, softly directing him around and not yelling at him when he nearly exploded their cauldron

- the students know he was expelled and why because the hogwarts school board had to enroll him, and some of the looser-lipped parents let what they did slip to their students. the rumors spread like wildfire and got super out of control (“i heard she threw a teacher through a window! i heard he killed someone!”). this causes the students, especially those from other houses, to act super wary around her, and ostracize her even more than he already was just being a new student

- they’re very smart! they nearly tie hermione for grades, though hes very “go with the flow” when it comes to school work. she’ll do it in time, and always on time. they procrastinate homework with other homework, and when he has no homework to procrastinate with he’ll go and nap in the common room (if no ones there) or the dorms

- they love to nap btw it’s their favorite! even though he sometimes seem to be constantly tired lmao

- their favorite subject is flying! she loves to fly, it’s super therapeutic for them, and i think her animagus would be some kind of bird!

obviously as a slytherin and him being a gryffindor the house rivarly was enough to get u to hate each other but the way u seemed to be almsot all of their targets to pranks didnt help. until you finally had enough and pranked them back.

the little rivarly and the teasing just turned into somehting more as time went on and then u found u actualky kind of liked his stupid face a lot? u didnt really even relaize when ur feelings changed but then the triwizard came up and he tried to join and the hole in ur stomach def wasnt normal rivals behaviour.

despite what it seems george is def the type to be romantic and listen to you talk. hes a weasley twin sure but hes the quieter more relaxed one and has a way of calming u down when u lose ur temper.

when james first heard your laugh, he immediately fell in love. he was in detention and had heard your laugh from outside the classroom. you were walking through the halls w marlene and dorcas as you all had a free period. james turned his head and fell even more as he saw your face. he then realised it was you, gryffindor prefect and top of all your classes. sirius had always thought you were a know-it-all, but james thought you were funny and pretty and he was determined to get to know you better.

so after detention, he went to his house to find you. luckily, you were studying w remus and lily. he walked up to you all suave and gave you a little smirk, to which you reacted by just staring at him while sweating profusely. little did he know, you also liked him. but ofc he didnt know that, not yet, so his smile faltered and he gave you a warm, polite smile instead and said “hi, y/n. i’m james potter. we have potions and DADA together.” he held his hand out for you to shake and you stared at it for a good few seconds before laughing. youre like “y-you, you know my name? ohmygod, haha- WOW. s-sorry, i-i’m not usually this um, giggly. HAHA” and james just grins and says “no worries love. do you mind accompanying to hogsmeade this weekend” and youre like “… alright…” and james is sooo happy hehe. “it’s a date!” he exclaimed before running up to his dorm to find sirius to tell him the good news. the wait for the weekend was painful for both of you, but def worth it.

you met him at the gates, looking beautiful as usual. james complimented you like 100 timed in the first 5 minutes, you were grinning like a child who just got their christmas wish. you two strolled around the town, james ending up buying everything for you 💀. you open up to him pretty quickly and you two bounce from topic to topic seamlessly. at the end of the night, you two were at hog’s head and (ik this sounds like a muggle thing but shhh) they had karaoke night and lily and remus sung a duet, to which james pulled you up from your seat in surprise. at first you're confused and are like "wth???" and james is like "dance with me, darling!" and you're like "HAHA NO" and james frowns and asks why and you pull him close and say "i'm horrible at dancing, james. althought i will admit, i love it," you chuckle. and james is like "perfect! here, i'll teach you, m'kay?" and you're not so sure but yk james won't let up so you follow him to the dance floor.

he puts your arms around his neck and he puts his hands on the middle of your back, not too high, not too low, and you two start dancing. james at first is impressed and is like "you're not half bad, l/n." but he's spoken too soon bc you then begin to step on his feet as you two sway faster. and he's like "OW OW OW!" and you pull away from him and is like "ah im so sorry. i didn't mean to :((" and he just shrugs, "it's alright. no worries. here, lemme teach you". and he takes you in his arms again. "just follow my lead, okay. relax and just feel the music. if you panic, just stop, look at my feet, and regroup, m'kay?" and you nod tentatively and he smiles and you two start swaying. for the first 3 minutes, your eyes are at his feet, watching his and making sure you don't trip again and hurt his toes. and a few minutes later, you are dancing like a pro! (you step on his feet still... but only a few times so its not that bad hehe).

fred made smth blow up in hagrid's face (bless his soul) and the whole class went silent except for you. fred and george were laughing, but they were keeping it quiet while you were literally honking. your whole face gets hot with embarrassment as you realise you're the only one laughing and everyone is staring at you. you look down in shame at your desk as you feel everyone's judging eyes on you. well, not everyone is judging hehe. hargrid ends up taking 15 points from your house, 10 for the prank, 5 for you laughing (oops...). hagrid continues class and everyone goes back to paying attention to him except for fred. he's staring at you the whollleeee time.

you're two grades below him (u two are 5th and 7th year but ill age u up to 16 instead of 15 since he’s 17:)) so honestly he's never really noticed you outside of the common room before. you are friends w ron tho so ofc he knows of you and has seen you around the school, but he's never really paid attention to you before until now. and he glad he finally did because you are gorgeousss. after class, he ends up approaching you and ofc you're starstruck bc your best friend's cool, funny, hot older brother is talking to you.

so like you tell your friends, harry ron and hermione, abt your plans and harry is like “cool cool. tell us how it goes!” and hermione and you are giggling abt you hanging out w a boy two years up from you. and ron’s like “yeah whateva. have fun ig🙄” and hes just jealous bc his cool olders brothers are stealing his best friend but you reassure him you’re still his bff and youll hang out w him after/the next day. NYWAYS so it comes time and you step into the common room, confused as there was no one there. so you go and sit on the couch to wait but as you sit down, fred’s face immediately emerges from nowhere and you literally trip over and fall into him (which youre freaked out bc you cant see his body) but the invisibility cloak drops and he puts his arms around you quickly and holds you up just as your abt to fall. and your faces are literally like millimeters apart. and you think youre abt to kiss but fred pulls away and helps stabilize you before grabbing his cloak. youre like all shy again and he just smiles and says hello and sits down in the couch. you follow him in suit and he explains what the invisibility cloak is. then he gets out all his toys and prank stuff and you’re honestly really interested and you even give him ideas for new pranks and yk he likes you like 1000 times more hehe.

you two end up talking for a few hours and you emerge out of your shell and fred is very happy bc he now sees like the real you. a few hours later and your curled up on the couch, head on his shoulder and youre about to fall asleep (super romantic). fred then mentions george and youre like “oh wait. how come he isnt here?” and fred’s like “hes w angelina. his gf” and youre like “oooh” and then you boldly ask “do you have a gf” and you lift your head up from his shoulder and your face is so close to his, not as close as before, but you can feel his breath on your lips. and he looks you in the eyes and is like “no” and youre like “do you like anyone?” and as he speaks he looks down at your lips, “yeah. i think i do” and you think you know its you bc well like, how can you not in this moment. and youre like “who?” and hes like “you” AND THEN (im sorry this shit is so long but im living the dream) he leans in and your lips touch and you kiss and its all 😍🦋😏😁😋😩🥰🤩😽👻. lol anyways you pull away and are like 😳 and fred is like 😏 “ill see u tmrw right?” and youre like “y-yeah…” and you watch as he stood up and collects his stuff and leaves you. once you know hes gone, you stand up and start squealing and jumping around hehe and you run upstairs to tell hermione.

next morning, fred finds you at lunch and asks you point blank if you wanna be his gf and youre like “yes duh.” and you two then become official! so even tho fred is a prankster and is always carefree and stuff, he does have a compassionate side that comes out when he feels need be. hes so supportive too and he treats you like a mf queen. he’ll literally buy you anything and will do anything for you. he also plays jokes on u which you get him back and hes very impressed w your creativity and boldness.

so during breaks and summers, you visit the burrow and you two often hang out outside near the willow tree in their yard. you two also go swimming in the lake (let’s pretend its a big lake not a pond lol). its super nice and relaxing especially on like 90 degree days where you two are melting. you two always are splashing each other and laughing loudly. sometimes you two just cuddle and drink pumpkin juice and talk about what fred is gonna do now that he’s outta school. tbh youre afraid that once you go back to school and youre apart, youll grow apart, but fred always assure you two that you wont bc you two are soulmates <3

The first day James was quite upset

He didnt throw a fit, he just got all pouty

You found it adorable annoying

The next day he switched to trying to bribe you to switch back

Finally he tried threats, which you took absolutely none of, the second a menacing word left his mouth you shot one right back

"If you dont switch back I will prank the hell out of you."

A prank war quickly began

He underestimated you big time

He returned with a counter attack the next day

Finally you were both living in constant fear of the other and you agreed to stop, claiming a tie was the end result

For the marauders era I would ship you with....

James Potter! You would flirt with each other nonstop, others would be exasperated because it was almost painful listening to you two flirt while knowing that you actually weren’t dating or anything more than friends. He would definitely have a raging crush on you though. The second someone else mentioned it, the thought wouldn’t leave your head. Lets be honest, Sirius would be the one to spill the beans and that’s why it would stick with you because he wouldn’t lie about that he would love teasing James and this was a way to do it. However you would also realize your feelings for him and you would start to draw back and you’d flirt less you would get shy and he would find it cute but he would also worry he had gone too far or you didn’t like his company anymore. He’d get stressed and you would be stressed too and so you wouldn’t be normal around each other for quite a while but he wouldn’t like that so he’d eventually tell you about his feelings and hed say he knew it might be strange for you so if you didnt feel the same you could just forget how he felt but he still wanted you in his life. At this point you would tell him how you felt and youd come to a happy understanding. Power gryffindor couple for sure!

Percy Weasley! He wouldn’t be what you thought you would be attracted to but you would share a class and he would sit by you and when he needed help he would have to turn to you for it because you would excel in this particular class. You would think he was a bit of a pompous ass, he would take his duties to heart and he would try too hard to be perfect. At first this would get on your nerves because he acted like he was so much better than everyone. This would come from a place of insecurity however. Bill and Charlie had extraordinary lives, Fred and George were hilarious even if he wouldn’t admit it out loud, Ron was best friends with Harry Potter for goodness sake and Ginny was the only girl in a family of crazy men as well as being amazing at quidditch. He’d feel a little lost in his family and so he’d always be trying to be the best because he felt he didn’t have much to him. You would slowly realize he was actually very intelligent and he did have kindness, he wasn’t always selfish. He would notice when you were gone and sick in bed and he would bring you chocolate frogs. You two would talk all day long and he would be feeling the most like himself he ever had. He would be content in your company. You two would start dating shortly after that day, you surprisingly being the one to confess first.

You both grew up in Slytherin, though quite separately. You never ran the same circles, and even if you ever glimpsed each other, neither liked what the other saw- personality wise, anyway. You never actually expected Draco Malfoy to have any kind of hidden depth- nobody did, he was just Lucius Malfoy 2.0, right?

You started to question this in seventh year. The Death Eaters had taken over the school, but luckily for you, you were Slytherin. Nobody bothered to ask whether you were pureblood or not, so even if you were you kept your mouth shut. Being Slytherin meant if you kept your head down and proudly wore green then you wouldn't be Crucioed for every little thing.

Until one day you were asked to do a Crucio. You were afraid of the consequences, but you certainly refused to do it. You stalled the longest you could, afraid of what would happen when you said no, until Draco Malfoy had appeared suddenly.

"Why are you giving her the privilege? What's she done to deserve it?" The Carrows had bellowed in laughter, and Draco had grabbed the scruff of the second year Gryffindor and dragged them to another room.

"You going to let him steal your prey like that, snake?" You were pushed from behind, and willing to leave the Carrows behind, followed Draco from a ways away. You were planning on just leaving once out of sight, but then you had seen Draco drag the Gryffindor into an empty room.

"Scream."

"What?"

"I dont know if you've been Crucioed before, but I'm sure you've heard the screams. Do that. Make it convincing enough that they don't come follow us."

The Gryffindor had begun screaming, and your head was spinning. Draco Malfoy was defending students? Gryffindor students, no less? Certainly not a carbon copy of Lucius Malfoy, that's for sure.

One other time it happened, you were asked to torture another student for bumping into you in the halls. You sneered, said you didn't like people watching while you enjoyed yourself, then dragged the student to an empty classroom. The poor Ravenclaw was terrified, visibly shaking, but looking relieved when you harshly whispered for them to start screaming.

"What are you casting, a stinging hex?" The one and only Draco Malfoy proclaimed loudly, the door to the classroom opening, and you quickly whipped your wand into the air to pretend you had been casting the spell. "Let me show you how its done." He slammed the door shut, stomping up to you with anger clear on his face.

"If you want to fake it, do it better." He turned toward the Ravenclaw, kneeling down. "Scream like your life depends on it."

Draco had apparently saved you twice now, and your brain couldnt comprehend how the Draco you knew before was this one.

You began sitting with him in the Great Hall, or studying together in the library. He always raised an eyebrow and you sat, but you both remained quiet, just sitting in each other's company. One meal, a kid was AKed in front of you, and you couldnt stifle the gasp. Draco quickly grabbed your hand under the table, and you squeezed it. His silent reassurance had helped you to lower your head and fight the panic.

Hogwarts "eighth" year seemed a complete turnaround from your last year. No one was getting tortured, or killed, and being a Slytherin was decidedly not a good thing. The eighth year Slytherins, which there were only four of you now, had to stick together. The Golden Trio had agreed to leave you all alone, however did nothing in the face of the bullying you four took on a weekly, if not daily basis. The four of you (Draco, Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson, and yourself) stuck up for each other, and cast Protego for each other anytime you knew something was coming your way.

Eighth year was different in another way- you were finally able to talk without worrying the Death Eaters would use the words against you. You grew close to Pansy, she became like a best friend to you, and you learned so much about Draco. How he started questioning everything he knew in sixth year, and how he couldn't do anything about it for the sake of his mother.

They learned about you as well, how you would put up a front to protect yourself from the harsh world. Draco had taken your hand then, too, and admitted quietly that he was glad you revealed yourself to them.

Pansy teased you, of course. Endlessly. Since you two were dormed together as the only eighth year girls, she had an obscene amount of time to do so. You denied your crush, of course, but no one could deny the way you looked at him. It was just before Christmas break when Pansy finally broke- she was never a patient person.

"By Merlin, you both like each other! I don't want to hear about this endless pining anymore, just get together already!" Except, you never even admitted it to her yet, and she was always the one teasing you. But looking at Draco's stricken face, the cheeks turning red, you couldn't deny her words any longer. You placed a hand on his cheek, leaned in, and placed a small kiss on his other cheek. You didn't know what you would do if you were wrong- but you didnt have to worry long. He quickly wrapped his hand around your wrist, his other hand around the back of your neck, and pulled you in for a proper kiss.

remus noticed u first in the library writing this huge essay for potions. he thought you were really pretty and immediately wanted to come up and introduce himself, but his doubtful thoughts got in the way. so he went to turn around but then his friends, ofc, pushed him your way. you didnt notice him at first bc you were so focused on your essay, so remus did a little awkward cough to get your attention and you looked up, expecting it to be one of your friends or the librarian, but you were very shocked to see prefect boy remus lupin standing next to your desk. he gave you a sweet, polite smile that got you sweating in second. he introduced himself, holding out his hand for you to shake, and as you tentatively held out your own hand, you began to introduce yourself only to stutter in your words. you apologized a lot but remus thought it was cute and reassured you you were doing nothing wrong. anyways, he ended up asking if he could study w you and you said yes, even tho you were like shaking and dying on the inside. the first 30 minutes were quiet and honestly, not awkward at all. you were thankful remus wasnt one of those ppl to try to do small talk. but he ended up asking you a question abt potions and ofc you answered, which ended up you having a whole rant about the potions textbook and how out of date it was. and while you were talking, remus found you so intelligent and interesting, and really cute too. and once you then looked at him shyly and apologized for taking up his time, he knew you were the person for him. you two were friends for a while before he asked you out. once he did, your relationship blossomed into something beautiful. you two took it slow, still hanging out like every day tho. you two usually study together, or when you become comfortable, you cuddle in his bed at night and you always end up talking about some muggle film youve seen, and it always interests remus. you two also share the same political views and its very fun arguing w other ppl bc you two are always right hehe. its couple bonding basically

Ok so, you guys are definitely enemies first. I mean how could you not be? You're a witty Gryffindor who would kill for her freinds, everything about you pissed him off

Started in first year when he called Hermione a mudblood infront of you
