His chest heaved, and his hands were limp but the back part that fell back against his clothes stung so bad tears fell from the contact. “Perhaps now we'll rethink rebellion, hm, Fahey?” “Fuck,” he panted and managed to open one eye, though he didn't have the energy to lift it to look at Anax. “You.” “Ayden-” “I'm sorry,” he winced, closing his eyes as his clothes scraped against the back of his hand again. “For-Forget it. This was the place people went to lose their dignity and sense of being before they died. The door squealed as Anax and Jinx stepped out of it, and Ayden paused to kneel next to Jesper. He murmured unevenly, “I'm sorry, Jesper.” “Yeah,” Jesper said without tone, and turned his head away, trying to catch his breath. There was a burning sensation in his neck. Ayden swallowed thickly and stood, scurrying out. The door came closed with a clang and Jinx locked it. Jesper dimly heard: “Don't cry for a bad influence, Ayden.” “I just don't like hurting people, Akuh.” “I know. You're a good boy. But it was for the best, I promise. Would I lie to you?” “No,” he mumbled, followed by a sniffle. “Come on, I have a few sweets stored in my quarters. Split them with me?” He didn't hear any response, but he did hear them climbing the ladder back onto the main deck. Jesper winced again, gasping a few times in an attempt to stop panting like a dog. Everything hurt but it felt like his hands were still on fire and were simply beyond damage. He was afraid to look, assuming he could even manoeuvre his body in a way that would allow him to. “Still my fault, Mart?” He managed, his voice cracking half way through “fault”. Mart's voice was shaky as well. Jesper vaguely remembered Mart mentioning his abilities included sensing other people's pain. Jesper would’ve felt bad, but he was positive the stimulation didn't compare. “Nothing warrants torture, Jesper. I would not even torture those men.” He stopped, then added, “But I would kill them.” Jesper's weak laugh was a choke and then a cough which only agitated his burnt skin more against his shirt and chains.

Nationwide no other tourist strip is topping I-Drive but Arcade Monsters is the priceist "Free To Play" barcade I've been to in several states.

There's several locations, the one in SRQ the lowest cost but the most Eurocentric, so I opted for I-Drive as a farewell to FL of sorts.

$28 for really a handful of games. Eh, I've spent less in Memphis, TN and Astoria, OR and got the same results.

Shit just dont hit the same when FL is not the moneypot I knew it for when I first came out here 4 years ago.

Going from a min. Of. $300/wk. To $0/wk. when 'Bama has work and Texas will put me in porn, the next time I touch FL will be to touch base to go abroad. R.I.P.

** Beat Tekken 8 with Kazuya on some emulator. Arcade Monsters had WAY too many emulators. Not a fan of those. When I saw there was an MvC bootleg that had MvC skins but a KOF interface, I was ready to leave.

How the hell to dress Hadari.... She's not the same aesthetic or proportions as most 1/4th scale dolls.

I don't want to infantalize her so most msd size stuff wouldn't work, and I don't think she'd fit into the MNF casual style stuff.

Kind of stumped. I don't have anything in my stash to try, either. 1/4th is the scale I have the least clothing for and most of my dolls are wearing Glitter Girls because that's what I could get a hold of. Glitter Girls is very childish style.

My Favorite Musicals (Part 1 of 10...maybe.)

I choose Sondheim and Weidman’s Assassins as my favorite because I think it opened my eyes to the fact that not all musicals had to follow a certain type of plot and story line.

I met the show in college (1996-2000.) We did Unworthy of Your Love and Gun Song in a musical revue for our musical theater class. I didn’t sing either of them (I’m not much of a singer,) so I owe a great deal to the performances my friends were doing. The songs were great, and the performances were fun. This was only part of the show? I had to learn more.

My security password for the next two years became Guiteau, the security team at my college couldn't spell it or pronounce it. Such is fame.

I bought the script from the Broadway Circle on a trip over the summer. I’m not sure when I got the CD or where it was from. I bought the vocal book from Colony a few years later. I convinced a friend to use some of Byck’s passages for a monologue competition he participated in.

I listened to the original recording with Terence Mann, Victor Garber, Jonathan Hadary and the rest a lot. I mean a lot a lot. I still do.

I saw the show on Broadway, the 2004 revival… And I, against conventional wisdom, used my playbill as a Show and Share with the kindergarten class I was teaching at the time. Not a shining moment explaining presidential assassination to 5-year-olds. The show affected me so much, I just had to talk about it.

The Studio 54 production was the first inclusion of Something Just Broke that I had encountered. I love the concept for the song, the time was just bad because it really inserted itself into the musical transition I had come to know and love from my repeated listening to the original cast recording.

Showing the Zapruder film on Oswald was a masterstroke and the scenic design was on point. Viewing the Proprietor through the animalistic portrayal of Marc Kudisch was eye-opening from a directorial choice perspective.

Overall, I still love Assassins and while it’s been a conversation for me to direct it at two of my local venues, the opportunity continues to elude me.

Of note, I have always had a fascination with the Lincoln assassination and the sinking of the Titanic because they happened around my birthday. I know on some level it plays into me love for this show.
