Am I crazy or do the Bennett's give off only girls born into the bloodline vibes. Everytime I try to think of a male bennett witch my brain just goes blank

I love talking about these underdeveloped witches. My shaylas fr. No, you’re not crazy. That’s exactly how it’s presented. The Bennett bloodline produces two things for certain: a.) a daughter and b.) a powerful witch no matter what. We can look at Sheila, Abby and Bonnie for example that’s three generations. If Bonnie were to have a child she’d be a daughter and witch.

TVD writers mishandled Bonnie and characters of color period because by TVDU’s rules Bonnie should’ve had magic as a baby. The Bennett magic is so strong to continue to exist within their thousands of descendants. It’s in their DNA.

Where Emily was killed she marked the Earth with power. We can assume when Bennett women die this is what they do with their magic. Who values their connection to Earth? Bennett Women. Abby’s transition was so hard because she lost her connection to Earth.

Even the tombstones we were shown for the Bennett’s were both women. Ameila is Sheila’s mother actually. The only instances with male Bennett’s are: Stefan saying Emily’s brother helped them. It isn’t confirmed if he had magic though. Then in S8 in the flashback scenes we see some black men in the mix around the bell. However, they’re nameless and the Bennett’s are shown to prioritize women. Safe to say if a male happens (which is never) they don’t have the gift or are important. The women are the leaders here. That’s what matters the most.

The greatest accomplishments in their bloodline are done by women. Here is a beautiful masterlist made by @roisy of Bennett spells/creations and then divided by spells Bennett women performed in the series.

This is a random tidbit for me. But, I know the Old witches house was destroyed. I don’t think the Bennett witches would’ve wanted anyone in there but Bonnie or other Bennett witches. The series had so many vampires/white witches in there and people who disrespected Bonnie period. When Damon and Klaus were both threatening Bonnie in their space. Damon burned and Klaus felt physical pain but point remains that place belonged to the Bennett’s. It shouldn’t have been so freely used.

In smaller moments we know the Bennett’s were protective over their own kind. Emily wanted her descendants protected. Lucy turned on Katherine after figuring out who Bonnie was. Sheila and Bonnie self-explanatory. Abby lost her magic because she didn’t go back to her daughter. They didn’t gaf about Rudy lmaooo.

Last thought for now if the Bennett women were white they’d be considered the most OP family of this franchise. Narratively, it’s no reason why people weren’t praising Bonnie for her power or being a Bennett witch because they should be seen as royalty.

Real-World Band Posters!

A while back, I was looking for some posters for bands I was into at the time and couldn't find very many, and most of them were in English instead of Simlish. So I decided to try my hand at making my own, and I thought I did a pretty good job.

I've been using them in my own game for a while now, but I got an SFS account, so I figured I'd share them here! I'm tempted to make more in the future, so we'll see how it goes.

I designed all the posters by editing the original album covers—or in the case of the Paramore one, by recreating it in the Sims—with Simlish and Sims-related inside jokes like microscope prints, Bonehilda, and llamas. The fonts I use seem to have disappeared from my computer, but I really liked them, so if anyone can find them, I would be super appreciative (and add credits here)!

Elijah hadn’t expected to face questions after it was done.

Hayley should have gone to Hope and Jackson to his grandmother or to check on other members of his pack giving Elijah time to leave and return back to the city to lock himself in his apartment before the worst of the venom hit and they had, but Elijah had hesitated to watch Hayley with Hope and Jackson with Mary and instead of them remaining focused on the others, they had quickly turned their attentions back to him and noticed the beginning of the venom sickness.

“You’re looking pale,” Mary mentioned as she followed Jackson back to him, giving him a concerned look “even for your kind.”

“You haven’t taken the cure yet?” Hayley asked shifting to bounce Hope with one arm and reaching out to his face with her now free hand, he shifted back to avoid it aware that she would notice his increasing temperature already too familiar with a situation similar to this.

“What cure?” he asked, attempting to give himself time to escape.

“Klaus’ blood,” Hayley narrowed her eyes as she looked at him “Don’t you have any?.”

“Klaus isn’t aware of any of this.” He told her hoping that would be enough to end the conversation and turn her attention back to Hope.

For the first time Elijah wished for his niece to cry and yet Hope seemed happy to suck on her hand, like a good and quiet baby and leave Elijah at the centre of attention, nothing at all like her father.

“So we’ll go and get some now.” Jackson’s tone made it clear that he’d be happy if it likely involved holding Klaus down to get the blood, which Elijah couldn't blame him for.

“You can’t have any.” Mary said sparing him from answering, he’d be slightly more grateful if it was without the judgemental look she was giving him. “Your ceremony involved their blood, you can’t have anyone else’s without risking it, right?”

“Correct,” he nodded, “you worked it out quickly.” he said as a compliment and focused his attention on her to avoid looking at either of those bearing his name, the bites on his neck were throbbing, likely from the rawness of the injuries as well as the venom but part of him could almost feel their irritation at him.

“I’m the elder of the crescent pack, it’s my job.” she told him firmly, “you knew you’d have to suffer through this, couldn’t you have found a work around?”

“Not in the time we had to pull this together and without Klaus working it out and risking his interference.” Freya cut in, joining them with her notebook to her chest behind folded arms,

“You didn’t think of delaying it until you came up with a better version.”

“I tried,” she replied, annoyance in her voice warring with the looks she was sending him, “Elijah refused.”

“I figured with your age, I wouldn't have to worry so much with another young person acting without thinking.” Mary sighed, looking him in the eyes clearly and Elijah found himself both touched but her concern while insulted by her words.

“I counted the risks” he objected “and found them was worth it, in this case.”

“Worth it?” Hayley snapped, forcing him to face her anger as she stepped closer to him.

“It’s really not -” Elijah tried, 

“-that big of a deal.” Hayley finished, not quite using the words he would have but with the correct intent however given the glare she was giving him, it was clear she didn't agree. “I've seen you go through the venom, I know that’s a lie.”

“I won’t die,” he reminded her, which only appeared to anger her more, “I’ll return to my apartment and endure.”

“No.” Jackson's voice cut the air with certainty.

“What?” he asked in surprise, unaware of any other option besides him returning to deal with it.

“I’m-we’re not letting you lock yourself up to suffer alone.” Jackson answered him setting a hand on his shoulder

“There’s not need for you to waste your time with me” he countered, fighting the urge to lean into the touch, “when you could-”

“It's not a waste.” Jackson cut him off, “The fact you’re going to suffer to free us from the curse means the crescent owes you more than leaving you alone to suffer, but the fact you're our mate makes the idea of it stupid.”

Focused on Jackson as fighting against the want to give into his touch he didn’t notice as Hayley closed the space he had been trying to keep between then and set a hand on his cheek.

Elijah’s denial died at Hayley's touch.

Elijah had barely made a noise during the ritual as they both sunk their teeth into him yet as Hayley and Jackson moved until he was sandwiched between them he couldn't stop the almost whine.

“Hope-” he started to argue, even as he found himself sinking into their touch.

“You gave me tomorrow and after with her back,” Hayley said firmly, “so I can take the time to look after you. Mary-”

Mary didn’t wait for the question, lifting Hope from Hayley’s arm the moment her name was mentioned.

“Your sister and I can take her for the night, while we’re at it we can go over what other foolish things you decided to put on yourself.” The pack elder declared and Elijah almost winced at what her reaction would be when she discovered the rest of the possible consequences. 

“Thanks, besides even if Hayley couldn’t,” Jackson told him, the solid hand on the back on his neck anchoring him, so even if he wanted to look away he couldn’t, “I’m not leaving your side until we have a full discussion.” he said reminding Elijah of Jackson’s frequent comments of having too much to teach Elijah before the curse returned just a month ago.

He'd blame the venom, Elijah told himself, as he let them take control; Hayley pulling his keys free and telling them she'd drive, which made sense as he realised Jackson likely didn't know where his apartment was and Jackson leading them to the back of his car.

Elijah discovered with Jackson’s arm over his shoulder he may have underestimated the effect of their venom and the effect of the closeness of his soulmate would cause as he quickly found himself losing the battle to remain awake as the car started moving back to the city.
