Cabin 9 - Heaphestus - Headcanons

After a bunch of trials and tests, snore reducing technology has been made

It's mainly to use on harley

The bunk beds are able to flip and the touch of a button to flip over and reveal mini work stations

They love to make gifts for their friends, significant others and siblings for birthdays and Christmas and valentines

Sometimes the aphrodite cabin will help for valentines

One year leo made calypso a bouquet of mechanical flowers so that they lived forever

The aphrodite cabin did help with this one but only because leo had so many ideas and didn't know which to choose from

When it comes to dinner time at the pavillion, all the campers from the heaphestus cabin try to sneak bit of food into their pockets ready for all nighters making and tinkering with things

Speaking of tinkering, they have a tinkerbell shrine in their cabin, she is the heaphestus blessed pixie and mascot of the cabin

Heaphestus worships her just the same way tbh

I just know Festus had his own little mechanical nest recharge station

And little toys to go with it like a mechanical ball or bone or smth

Hes also tried to go into the cabin for belly rubs

There's blueprints everywhere in the cabin

And I mean EVRRYWHERE floors, walls, beds, desks, taped to ceilings, everywhere

Not that they're always followed or anything

Leo's the designated night light and toaster

He's actually perfected his toasting skills now

He is literally the hearth in the pavillion

Hestia calls her self the adopted parent of Leo

Leo likes the feeling inside of him when he hears the word "son" come of her mouth, he thinks back to his mother even if he does feel guilty sometimes he knows no one could replace her in the long run

We didn't start the fire and this girl is on fire are currently up for debate for cabin theme song (the Apollo cabin sparked this debate, they needed some drama)

338. Leo’s mom always wore a red bracelet. One day in the Heaphestus cabin, Leo was really sad and was crying on his bed. He then found a red string from his sheets. He tied it around his wrist and felt like now he had a connection to his dead mother. When he has a bad day or feels depressed, he looks at the bracelet and instantly feels happy. His favorite color has been red from that point on.

PJO New Years Headcanons

The Heaphestus cabin puts on a huge fireworks show like on the Fourth of July

Percy usually spends it with his mom and they have lots of candy and popcorn to snack on

He usually doesn't go down to watch the ball drop (it's too cold and crowded)

Annabeth usually spends New Years at camp but recently she's been going over to Percy's or spending it with her family

Jason flew Piper up to a rooftop to watch the ball drop

Other years he spends New Years with Piper and her dad

Nico shadowtravels with Will to Camp Jupiter to spend New Years with Hazel

Other years Hazel comes to Camp Half-Blood

Camp Jupiter usually holds a feast that goes through midnight

Frank celebrates New Years with his friends but he also celebrates Chinese New Year

The first year without his mom and grandmother is difficult

Hazel asks if she and some others could celebrate with him since his mom and grandmother aren't there

His grandmother made the best dumplings (jiaozi)

His still taste good but they aren't quite the same as he remembers

Hazel helps make fish since the jiaozi take a while to make (Frank makes sure to mention the fish is served whole)

Nico is really good at cooking so he helps with the noodles (symbolizing long life) and some other foods after being given some instructions from Frank

Frank also puts out a bowl of tangerines and oranges for everyone (symbolizing luck and wealth)

Hazel, Nico, and the others really enjoy learning about his culture

Frank is glad he didn't have to spend New Years alone

Cabin 5- Ares -Headcannons

They can pull off any shade of red

It's much more difficult for an Ares kid to break a weapon

When they're angry, flames flash in their pupils, a bit like Heaphestus' children

Their hair is always up incase of battle

Their cabin is really neat and tidy, bunks made with camo bed coverings, red curtains spears, and other weapons hung on the wall or leaning against the wall

Injuries do heal faster but they do usually leave scars or bruises

Next to the Athena cabin, the Ares cabin is the most competetive

The excell at many combat sports and have probably held most records for the fastest to climb the lava wall

Cabin 1 - Zeus - Head cannons

They hold a grudge like it their job

And they will hold it for a long long time

They're also very passive aggressive

They're natural born leaders

And take alot of interest in current politics, godly or mortal

Over time lightning marks will appear on their bodies due to the storms they've been in

They like to tease the other cabins with thinks like "don't test me I'm your uncle/auntie"

Most kids of zeus go on to do things like electrical engineering and since they can literally withstand electrical current, it doesn't take them long to move up the ladder

On the other hand, there was a power cut for around a week in camp half blood when the zeus cabin teamed up with the heaphestus to work on a new project
