Cabin 9 - Heaphestus - Headcanons

After a bunch of trials and tests, snore reducing technology has been made

It's mainly to use on harley

The bunk beds are able to flip and the touch of a button to flip over and reveal mini work stations

They love to make gifts for their friends, significant others and siblings for birthdays and Christmas and valentines

Sometimes the aphrodite cabin will help for valentines

One year leo made calypso a bouquet of mechanical flowers so that they lived forever

The aphrodite cabin did help with this one but only because leo had so many ideas and didn't know which to choose from

When it comes to dinner time at the pavillion, all the campers from the heaphestus cabin try to sneak bit of food into their pockets ready for all nighters making and tinkering with things

Speaking of tinkering, they have a tinkerbell shrine in their cabin, she is the heaphestus blessed pixie and mascot of the cabin

Heaphestus worships her just the same way tbh

I just know Festus had his own little mechanical nest recharge station

And little toys to go with it like a mechanical ball or bone or smth

Hes also tried to go into the cabin for belly rubs

There's blueprints everywhere in the cabin

And I mean EVRRYWHERE floors, walls, beds, desks, taped to ceilings, everywhere

Not that they're always followed or anything

Leo's the designated night light and toaster

He's actually perfected his toasting skills now

He is literally the hearth in the pavillion

Hestia calls her self the adopted parent of Leo

Leo likes the feeling inside of him when he hears the word "son" come of her mouth, he thinks back to his mother even if he does feel guilty sometimes he knows no one could replace her in the long run

We didn't start the fire and this girl is on fire are currently up for debate for cabin theme song (the Apollo cabin sparked this debate, they needed some drama)

Omegaverse and Greek Mythology Are The Same Thing

ok, so any omegaverse fic that i've ever read, is basically this:

alphas fighting

omegas freaking out

betas chilling

trauma, smut, trauma, smut, trauma, smut, the cycle repeats

and I was thinking, that's basically greek mythology. Because:

zeus is getting some poor woman pregnant again

hera is turning the said pergnant woman into some animal

ares is probably jerking of to watching some wars happening on earth

artemis is doing her own thing entirely

dionysos is drunk off his balls

aphrodite and apollo had a beauty salon appointment but ended up shagging the staff

heaphestus is just making weapons with music playing in the background

persephone and hades are having a nice marriage in the underworld

hermes is jacking up shit

athena is picking up fights with every mortal that crosses her path

hecate is enjoy the show, eating popcorn and laughing at the gods

demeter is being the mother figure she is

hestia as given up on trying to get them therapy a long time ago

and we have the heroes and demigods enduring any kind of trauma known to man kind

Reading the last update, I thought back to Donnie’s initial interaction with the agents and how he may have responded to this survey (if he was allowed to get to that point pre-agent killing, that is). 

Given his fairly impulsive actions during the initial “onboarding” process, I kept going back to two funny options under the idea of him wanting to grind some gears that seemed in-character for him (and parallel to Leo being a bit of a gadfly in his own responses).

Answer “neutral” for every statement. No elaboration.

2. Insist that the efficacy of this survey as an assessment tool in this context has several flaws of assumption that would compromise the data, and pointedly refuse to participate on the grounds that their methodology is bunk anyway.

Greek Mythology Modern AU!

This has been knocking around my head for a few years now!

Mt.Olympus is a huge global company kinda like umbrella from resident evil except no zombies (sorry) that was founded by Kronos and is now run by his sons Zeus and Posideon since his dissapearence (Zeus killed him). Hades runs a local nightclub callled The Underworld with his mother Rhea and is afriad of his older brothers.

Hermes and Aphrodite work PR campains for Mt.Olympus

Demeter is Zeus' PA and is in a binding contract that she doesn't know how to get out of and is terrified of her daughter Kore also having to work for the brothers (which is most likely as they are the biggest company in literally everything)

Heaphestus is head of research and development and is going through a painful divorce from Aphrodite who is now dating Aries, who is along with his twin sister Athena a corprate spy for Zeus to take down other companies.

Hera is the comapines cut throat lawyer and is also over seeing Aphrodite's and Heaphestus' divorce. (I know lawyers don't work like that but they do it this AU)

Cerberus and the Minotaur are bouncers at Hades nightclub

The Fates are indentical tripplets that work the bar and are not afriad to cut you off. (Thanks you to my mummy for the joke)

Deadelus and Icarus own a son and pop repair store and fix the broken electronics at the club

Apollo is in charge of the lighting system

Medusa owns a woman and children's sanctuary and is close friends with Hades, she is also married to Danae and adopted mother to Perceus

Kore comes to Hades wanting to get a job djing at his club to aviod working for his brothers, she gets the job and goes by the stage name Pespehone

OK no like, your machine tamer stuff got my author brain going so now I'm taking it out on you since it's your fault in the first place.

Just once at some point in this franchise I want there to be some glitched out cauldron that Heaphestus doesn't bother with anymore because it's waterlogged or just over all damaged and doesn't see the worth in fixing it over making a new one.

ANYWAY, so it's like still producing machines because of its programming but the code is all messed up so instead making every machine's default being hostile/skiddish they're more tamed by default. So (any tribe) starts to realize, wait this robot raptor isn't f**ing me up on sight. So now people are starting to domesticat machines like their ancestors did with farm animals, horses, and dogs.

Idk, just thought it was cool to think about you can just ignore this if you don't care. But safe to say you've inspired my own little idea here, so...thanks.

Cabin 5- Ares -Headcannons

They can pull off any shade of red

It's much more difficult for an Ares kid to break a weapon

When they're angry, flames flash in their pupils, a bit like Heaphestus' children

Their hair is always up incase of battle

Their cabin is really neat and tidy, bunks made with camo bed coverings, red curtains spears, and other weapons hung on the wall or leaning against the wall

Injuries do heal faster but they do usually leave scars or bruises

Next to the Athena cabin, the Ares cabin is the most competetive

The excell at many combat sports and have probably held most records for the fastest to climb the lava wall

     Tony didn’t know how long he drifted in and out, but it felt like a long time until he finally woke to full consciousness. 

     He was laying on a table in a dark room. The only light came from a flickering light that swung gently on its fixture. The walls were all concrete and there were no windows, leaving Tony with the distinct sensation of being underground. His wrists and ankles were secured down with leather straps, and a gag covered his mouth. There were wires attached to his arms and bare torso that connected him to various bits of equipment scattered around the room. There was a sore spot in the crook of his arm that looked like a needle had been stuck in there at some point. 

     He wasn’t alone. Howard was in the corner with his back to Tony, doing something with what looked to be medical equipment. It wasn’t long before he stepped away from the equipment and noticed Tony. 

     “Good, you’re awake. Your blood is really quite fascinating,” Howard dragged one a piece of equipment with a screen towards Tony’s table, “At first, I thought you must be a mutant. But you don’t have the X-Gene. I’ve checked the bloodwork again and again to be sure, but you are something different. Something new.” 

     Howard was taking suction-cup-like things and sticking them to Tony’s temples. For the first time, Tony noticed that his head had been shaved. A map of his brainwaves appeared on the screen. “This could be a new discovery, boy. Who knows what we could learn from you?” 

     Tony’s heart was pounding. “I’ve had to give a story out, of course. I’ve been saying I sent you off to MIT to prepare for the next semester. Maria and the press bought it easily enough, but I think Jarvis is suspicious. Not that there’s much he can do about it. 

     “Now,” Howard said as he held up a blowtorch, “let’s get started.”

     When Jarvis came back after Tony’s birthday to find Tony gone, of course he was suspicious. He didn’t believe Howard’s story about MIT for one moment. 

     As soon as he was able, he called Peggy. 

     “Hello?” 

     “Peggy? It’s Edwin Jarvis. Something’s wrong with Tony. He’s missing.”

     Time blurred for Tony. He had no way of telling time other than Howard’s comings and goings. He knew he must not be far from the mansion, given that Howard seemed to be there more often than not, or maybe it was just his brain playing tricks on him. 

     Howard tested his resistance against fire, and when it became clear that Tony could resist just about any amount of heat he moved on to electricity. Tony still had a high tolerance for the shocks, but at high enough of a voltage they could still cause him harm. It wasn’t fun. 

     Then Howard tested his healing ability. As it turned out, Tony did have a healing factor, though it wasn’t nearly as strong as Captain America’s, as Howard often mentioned. Howard started with small cuts on his legs and arms, which wasn’t so bad all things considered, but when he moved on to broken bones Tony was sure that without the gag, he would’ve bitten off his tongue. 

     Howard would try different kinds of anesthesia, to see what would work on Tony and for how long. He would inject Tony with things that made his insides burn, or freeze, or squirm.  

     Every day Tony could feel something inside him break just a little more.
