it would be REALLY cute if one of the mini quests was to help an apartment complex of residents who are being haunted.... not by exorcising the spirits but just. helping them figure out what the ghost pokemon want.

youre not making the apartment complex any less haunted, youre just helping them become better roommates.

i figure the apartment complex could be an old hotel or something that burned down, so the ghosts there were really just the ghosts of old tennants or pokemon who live there and got caught in the fire.

Hey I just remembered we have the Prayer Army here, would y'all please pray for peace in my dad's family?

#the unpleasant details are that my dad's sister cannot endure to be in a room with republicans #meaning she is refusing to attend my grandpa's probably-very-soon funeral #also her husband is the current executor of the will which means they have to tell my grandma so she can change it #it's just all very upsetting and sad to be surrounding grandpa's death #and dad is trying to convince the old church elders to see his side of the story again due to hearing of nasty things the pastor is saying #and he's back in the office full time and dealing with his staff being mad about that #and my sister's husband is probationary for another few months and they're scared he will lose his job #i did have a truly lovely time at home and enjoyed everyone. but there's a lot of heaviness too

I hate the way office spaces use windows as a Hierarchy thing, where you only get to see natural light if you're far enough up the Hierarchy, and if you're not it's fluorescent overheads only

especially when there are all these conference rooms that sit empty most of the time (apart from like, a couple hours a week max) and they have windows

what if we prioritized getting The Most People access to light from their permanent workplace where they spend the entire day, and let the Temporary Spaces like conference rooms be in the windowless interior

#glad i finally have it cause i was fighting for my life tryna get nz post to give me this package #i missed the delivery on thursday because i didnt know it required a signature and i am a millenial with flatmates #i am not answering the door if im not expecting to have to. esp if they only knock once and immediately leave #so im like whatever ill go pick it up at the depot i can pick it up before i go to work the next day!#go to the depot the next day. not there because the postie mistakenly put it back in the van to try to deliver it with signature again #because the package is Supposed to be at the depot i cant disable the signature requirement and i am at work not at home #so delivery failed Again #finally today i could actually change the package info meaning they would actually let me pick it up #i go to pick it up. its a saturday so the building the post office is in is closed. the postie is supposed to be open tho #cant find the entrance and i am once again doing this before work so in a hurry #thankfully a cleaner is nearby and points me around the back to the secret entrance. i finally get my package #it is also in a comically large box for some reason. surely this couldve fit in an a4 mailer lol #the funniest part of this is that they still delivered my other mail on thursday. they delivered my ali express order without signing #but they saw the Box Of Stickers and were like no. we must get a signature for this #it is of the utmost importance

SO baffled. not even in a transphobic way just in a "you can do that??" way. like it didn't compute at all. we tend to forget that the average person has no idea what transsexualism is or what it implies even on a very basic level (like "i was a woman and now i'm a man") - which is funny when it happens with doctors & nurses because it's like they suddenly forget everything they know about human biology. like the blood donation doctor i caused to have an existential crisis a few weeks ago because while i had seen him before (and explained that i was taking testosterone HRT), he hadn't actually conceptualized what it meant in terms of consequences - he was like "but.... what.... are you telling me it can... change the way you look?????" and i was like Sir,
