John Wick plunged his dark eyes into yours, his gaze usually cold and unreadable seemed raw and deep. Almost vulnerable at that instant. A long heavy silence stretched between you. As if he was afraid to break you. Your glassy eyes settled on the droplets of blood on his face and you blinked, lips parted. Did you need to say anything? With him, you knew you didn’t have to. The gesture felt almost intimate coming from him, a man who lived in shadows and violence. Your heart raced, not from fear, but from the intensity of his gaze. This was a side of him few ever saw; raw, unguarded, and human. His thumb stilled on your cheek, and for a moment, the world outside ceased to exist.

“You’re safe now…” He uttered, voice deep, genuine and echoing faintly in the hollow space of the church.

Your heart was hammering in your chest,a chaotic mix of adrenaline and relief. The memory of bloodshed that took place before still lingered but his presence, his touch, anchored you. You searched his eyes, seeing not just the killer, but the man beneath. The man who had risked everything for you.

"John…" you whispered, your voice trembling but soft. Almost like a prayer. His name was all you could manage, but it carried everything you couldn’t say. Your fear, your gratitude, your unspoken feelings.

His gaze softened, just for a moment, and he leaned in, his forehead gently resting against yours. The warmth of his breath mingled with yours, and for the first time since this nightmare began, you felt safe. Truly safe.

He didn’t question any further knowing you might be overwhelmed with what has happened. He knew you despite not being together anymore but it doesn't mean he has to erased you just because of a hard past. He would be lying to everyone if he said that he wishes to wake up next to you everyday.

Instead, he held out his hand, "Come on. Let’s get you out of here."

And without a word, you took it.

The ride was silent, but not awkward. The windows were down, the wind is enough to blew your hair gently and the billboards were shining against the buildings.

You let your hand wave out of the window like a kid. San, occassionaly, glances at you in case you felt a nauseous. The silence between you both were comfortable. The kind of silence that held years of knowing each other’s rhythms, the kind that didn’t need to be filled.

His phone played some mellow playlist—low enough that you could hear the hum of the tires against the road, the occasional soft click of his turn signal. You place your hand back on your lap, San took the chance to pull the windows back up. As it did, you leaned your head against the window, cheek pressed to the cool glass, eyes heavy.

“I didn’t know who else to call,” you said finally, voice barely audible. San’s grip on the steering wheel tightened, knuckles going pale for a split second. He knew of who that guy was and the thing he did during the cruise vacation.

And absolutely, for the first time in his life, loathed that guy for making you feel small and embarassed.

“I’m glad you called,” he said, eyes still forward. You turned to him, taking in the familiar curve of his nose, the shadow of stubble along his jaw. The way the streetlights poured over him in passing flashes like he was caught in the middle of fading dreams.

“Even after everything?” you asked, voice cracking slightly, whether it be the alcohol or the deepest part of your emotions surfacing. It was your vulnerable moment.

He hesitated. Of course he has. If you were him, you wouldn't be doing this. You wouldn't be answering your ex's calls in the middle of the night or even riding in their car to take you home. It would bring up the pain and that pain shouldn't be brought up and buried deep.

You saw it in the way his jaw clenched, just for a moment. Then he nodded, "I’d still come," he said softly. "Every time."

Your breath hitched, chest squeezing so tight it hurt.

The silence returned—but it wasn’t empty. It was full. Of things you didn’t say. Of moments you’d tucked away. Of love that hadn’t disappeared, just folded itself quiet in the corners of your hearts.

“You didn't have to,” you whispered, looking over at San, "I'm no one to you."

He was silent for a moment, his mind fill with thoughts but it was enough in his heart to ache and for his body to react, his hand reaching over at your cold ones.

"You may be no one to me anymore but my heart knows who you are and it will never stop beating for you." Your throat tigthens as you gave his hand a squeeze.

He walked you to your door, both of you bathed in the soft orange glow of the porch light. His hands were shoved in the pockets of his hoodie, shoulders hunched like he didn’t trust them not to reach for you again.

You fumbled with your keys, a little clumsy from the alcohol and the ache in your chest. Then you turned around to face him, blinking back tears you hadn’t meant to let fall.

“Thank you,” you said, barely above a whisper. “For picking me up. Even if it’s just tonight.”

His expression cracked—just slightly. But you saw it. That glimmer of something breaking through the restraint, “You can always call me,” he said, voice almost too soft to hear. “Even now.”

And for a split second, as the door creaked open behind you and his warmth lingered like the last note of your favorite song. You halt just right before you enter your apartment, looking at him.

"Will you still come like tonight?" You whisper. Scared that you might be just being a delusion ex if second chances still exist but his answer made your heart soar.

Unlike the other two, Carlos is older and more experienced than them. But of course, he's still going to be a tad bit flustered when it comes to you. You're one of the new videographers for Drive to Survive. All videographers were assigned a driver to film, and you got Carlos. Which you were grateful for since he's always super respectful and also very easy to film, since he looks good in every angle.

Carlos usually hated being filmed for Drive to Survive, he thought they were super annoying. But he couldn't bring himself to dislike you, even when you accidentally hit him with your huge camera - he still found you so endearing. He couldn't help but try to shoot his shot at you.

Every time you came to film him, he made sure to drop not-so-subtle hints that he liked you. a/n: ohhh i love this. dont know if its very good sorry... but i might be a little on and off soon as ive got 3 weeks of exams :(

The diner was bustling with it’s usual patrons, the sea of noise rising and falling in waves as people conversed and laughed, all social responsibilities seemingly forgotten inside. Every single booth was packed full, and you were getting quite tired of running back and forth every few minutes to tend to a new request at a new table. 

You were so caught up in trying not to drop a tray of milkshakes, holding it steadily as you weaved between a group of soc boys all crowding around a table, that you didn't even hear the bell tinkle above the door, nor did you notice when a familiar face strode in, leather jacket slung over his shoulder, an unlit cigarette between his lips.

Dallas watched you for a few moments, smirking as he made his way to the counter, sitting himself down with a huff on a barstool. He looked like some type of guard dog, all brooding expressions and narrowed eyes, a protective gleam in them as he observed the way you set down the drinks and smiled sweetly at the customers. 

Everything about you always seemed so genuine; the way you managed to talk to people and hold a conversation, the way you charmed them with that smile of yours that seemed to light up an entire room. You made everything seem so easy, and that’s why Dallas kept coming back to you. Every single time.

You worked your way around the diner, moving gracefully and taking orders in a way that was so efficient you put any other waitress to shame. The jukebox played lowly in the background, and you swayed subtly to the music, humming as you slowly headed back towards the counter; however, you stopped short the moment your eyes met his. You felt your whole face heat up, your cheeks flushing and embarresment flooding you. Your heart thumped wildly in your chest, and you couldn't help the smile that crept onto your face as you stepped towards him, allowing his arms to wind around your middle.

"What're you doing here?" you mumble, sparing embarrassment clock and letting your shoulders drop once you realise you were meant to be on break five minutes ago. With little to no hesitation, you grab him by the arm and pull him into the back room, letting the door swing shut behind you. It was much quieter there, away from the hum of noise and the sound of the diner's din.

Dallas grinned down at you, capturing your lips in a searing, almost desperate kiss. "What? Can't I visit my girl whilst she's on her break?" 

You let out a small laugh, rolling your eyes fondly and melting into him as his hands rested on your hips. "You're so full of yourself, you know that?" You teased playfully, stepping away eventually and making your way over to the sink in the corner, washing your hands free from the sticky residue of various drinks and the ink that had leaked from your pen. 

Dallas watched you closely, leaning back against the door, cockiness radiating off of him. "You look damn good in that uniform, baby. Did I ever tell you that?" 

You hum vaguely, nodding and reaching for a towel. "You've mentioned it before," you turn and let yourself rest against the lip of the sink, giving him a wary look. "What are you after, Winston?" 

"What makes you think I'm after something?" His eyes widen in mock innocence, and you give him a knowing look, raising your brows. He always plays sweet when he  wants something but is never quite sure of how to get it. It was just another little thing about him that you'd come to notice after all these months spent together. You're probably the only one to ever take notice of the way his eyes soften slightly when he looks at you, the slight curve in his mouth when he grins, and how he tries to hide it whenever it becomes too clear.

After a few moments, he huffs dramatically, kicking off the wall and  stalking forward until you can feel his body pressed up against yours, trapping you between him and the sink. "I just want to know what time you're off work, angel. That's all." 

His voice is surprisingly sweet, and you're stunned into silence for a few seconds, gazing up at him through fond, adoring eyes.

"4." You force out, stumbling slightly over the word as you add, "I finish at 4. A little earlier today. It's not as busy after then, so they won't need me." 

He nods slowly, processing what you're saying before  speaking again. "Good." The grin he gives you sends butterflies into your belly, and your breath hitches slightly as he leans closer to you, his hands now resting against the sink momentarily on either side of you. "Then I'll pick you up later, if you want."

Your gaze drops to his lips momentarily, before meeting his eyes and giving him a soft smile. "I'd like that." 

"I know you would. That's why I'm offering." He closes the distacnce between you both, the kisses getting more and more heated as they go on, and you have to remind yourself several times to breathe, ducking out from his hold with a laugh. 

"Dal... I only have like ten minutes left--" 

He cuts you off with a smug look, brushing your hair back. "So? I only need ten minutes, doll."  His thumb brushes lightly along your cheekbone, and you lean into the touch despite yourself.

"Smug bastard." You whisper, but you don't push him away again as he leans in for another kiss, simply allowing it to happen.

It took a couple months for Chris to make a move, the friend group was at college party and the night ended with both of them sloppy drunk, in bed together 🫣 the morning after reader lowkey regrets it, thinking it’d be awkward between the two. Chris made it very known he felt the complete opposite, he made it his mission to get her. For months it was a cute cat & mouse type of game - he’d call, she’d ignore, he’d ask her out on dates, she’d reject him without a second thought. He lived for the chase just like she lived for being chased.

Honestly, I think a lot of it has to do with how much I relate to him. He’s really special to me because he’s a character I can really see myself in. I’m Mexican, but something about him being half fae and half human really resonates with me. Maybe it’s because I’ve lived in the United States for so long, that it’s become a part of me somewhat. His issues with his identity is part of his charm, and mean a lot to me because it’s just so…. Realistic and deep lol. I cry about Sebek sometimes because he is just so tragic.

He’s just a loud, passionate boy who loves his family!!!!! He has a superiority complex!! It was influenced by the people around him!!! By his family!!! By his community!!!! People hate his human side!!! HE hates his human side!!!! He was a late bloomer!!! His ears are round!!! It’s a sign of everything he hates!!! Everything he hates about himself!!! His best friend is a human!!!! And he was able to do magic faster than him!!!! The people he idolizes love silver and give him so much attention!!! He’s the focus of attention and Sebek is left struggling!!! He gets the crumbs and he has to fight for recognition!!!! He values what he can get because he has to work for it!!! It’s so scarce!!! He wants to be strong!!! But his hatred for himself is so strong it interferes with his daily life!!! He latches on the bits of identity that mean so much to him because without them he feels lower than everyone else. He’s going through so much it hurts 😭😭😭 he’s just a boy 😭😭😭 he’s just 16 and it’s like the worlds against him 😭😭😭 he’s so loud , he can’t control his volume. Literally everyone hates him because of it. Because he’s so stubborn too. Because he’s so blunt. Because of the hatred that was drilled into him since he was young. That humans are lesser than and because he’s half human it affected him so much!!!!!! AOFUFJFHFJDHFHFHF HE MAKES ME SO SAD 😭😭😭😭 I KNOW IM JUST EXPLAINING HIS STORY BUT ITS SUCH A BIG PART OF WHY I LOVE HIM

But yeah he’s also really comedic and has funny scenes.. he is just a silly dumb 16 year old boy so ofc he has goofy moments. also he’s just really nice to look at. I adore his design… I think his hair is very pretty especially with it down… his slick back hair suits him and his character…. AOUFH HIS HAIR IN GENERAL IS SOOO IMPORTANT TO ME….. his lightning motif…. It’s so good.. HIS CUTE LITTLE SMILE :} AOUFH….. the cutest boy ever

I just wanted to say ur trophy husband au acc makes me feel SICK to my stomach when i read it (i promise i mean this is an incredibly positive way pls believe me) but OMG whenever you update i have to physically brace myself for the absolute banger that is your writing. Whenever I read it I always live react to my friend and send her sc and scream over text and idk how shes not done with me but its fine!!!!! I LOVE how codependent loscar are in this and I know loads of ppl want them to break up but atp, it's so normalised for them that even me as the reader just isnt surprised when smth happens. Call me weird but while I do hope it gets better I kinda dont want them to break up. Also at first I was so rooting on Lando being the hero and saving Logan but now I've realised it's acc quite fitting how he's just ignoring it. Logan is a constant reminder to Lando of failure that he could very well face and be victim to because hes team mates with oscar too. It's almost like maybe norgeant could be each other's in another, better life and I love that you did that. Your writing is genuinely so majestic and beautiful and my hand slaps over my mouth with every sentence I read. loscar are incredibly codependent in this fic, they've just been together, both romantically and as friends, for too long to really let each other go. your interpretation is really right on the money though: logan is not going to leave until oscar forces him to, and oscar doesn't want logan gone. i try to not say it too directly, bc i love a "show, don't tell" moment, but i try to allude to it with sentences like "[Logan could] Maybe even [be] Oscar Piastri’s husband, if he's lucky." idk they just have a really interesting dynamic to write!! people wanted lando to be the savior almost as much as they want me to write a loscar break up! unfortunately, it's just not gonna happen. lando sees logan as too much of a threat to his career and mental and job security, and logan sees lando as too much of a threat to oscar's career to really show any vulnerability or place any trust in him. norgeant are parallels in a way that neither of them really want to be!
