The amount of wanderlust I have is so much that it is actually painful

If I didn't live at the very bottom of a peninsula 1000 miles away from the rest of the continent, I would go on a lot more spontaneous day trips.
In 5 hours, you could get from New York to Boston. From Chicago to St Louis. From Atlanta to Nashville. In that time, I can get from south Florida to southern central Florida (almost to Orlando, but not quite)

Been feeling so stagnant lately. I wish I had more energy/less anxiety so I could actually do things. There are so many things I actually want to do, but can’t bring myself to.

I would go on roadtrips all the time if I didn't live at the farthest end of a fucking peninsula.
In 4 or 5 hours you can get from New York to DC, or from Chicago to Detroit or Canada. In 4 or 5 hours you can get from south florida to almost mid florida. If I wanted to go to Georgia, it would be a 10 or 12 hour trip if traffic was perfect.
I know folks in Texas have it worse, but there are at least things to do in Texas, places to go, sights to see. Florida's got fuckall, just prairies and swamps and nazi billboards.

The dino benches are super cute. The angle is a little weird, though. And there's other seating if you're scared of dinosaurs. Looks like there's non-dino flat benches in the back on the right and a raised stone bench / retaining wall area on the left with grass and trees. I'm a little worried that there's no arm rests on any of the seating areas, though. It might be difficult for people with mobility issues to stand back up. Super cute for in front of a dino museum, though! And I totally want one.
